The 10 Best Hotels and Resorts in Sicily, Italy - AFAR

"Housed in a former nobleman’s farmhouse in the Val di Noto, this Relais & Châteaux estate offers 26 suites and eight private pool villas styled with neutral palettes, four‑poster beds, and travertine marble bathrooms; villas provide generous living areas and private pools for true solitude. Culinary programming is central—onsite dining focuses on Sicilian cooking and the property runs cooking classes—while two pools, a private yoga pavilion, tennis courts, a modern fitness room, and a spa round out the offering; it’s also a short drive from southeastern fine‑sand beaches and the baroque towns of the region." - Laura Itzkowitz, Erica Firpo

Il San Corrado di Noto (Noto, Sicily) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"On a remote stretch of land framed by ancient citrus and olive groves, not far from Sicily’s southern tip in the UNESCO-honored Val di Noto, a grandly appointed luxury hotel stands out from the region’s many agriturismi. Il San Corrado di Noto occupies a sprawling estate that was once a nobleman’s residence, and although painstaking renovation efforts have been made, the place still has a regal air, from the decorative entrance gates to the ivory-walled architecture to a pair of oversized aquamarine pools encircled by palm trees and generously spaced-out sunbeds." - Tablet Hotels

Our first visit to Sicily and this amazing hotel and we will be back for sure. Service was outstanding from every member of the team without exception. The owners are onsite and are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The hotel was opened in 2021 and the rooms are spacious and our room overlooked the remarkable 100 meter pool, which I haven’t seen anywhere else. The food is outstanding, whether you are dining by the pool or the upscale restaurant which was as good as any I’ve been to in London. The beach club is close by and very cool, and spa and gym are very high quality. Mostly Italian guests which is a good sign.

This was our third stay at this truly outstanding and breathtaking place. For us, Il San Corrado is the epitome of a luxurious and at the same time laid-back holiday. We really cannot fault a thing here. The pools are stunning, the food and wines absolutely divine, the rooms are ‘grande’ (think Frette bedlinen and amazing showers with Diptyque amenities all around) and kept immaculately clean. Every single person of the Il San Corrado team goes out of their way to fulfill your every need. This place is a true gem and comes highly recommended (and we have travelled to quite some luxurious places) for a chill holiday, mixed with visits to the lovely baroque cities surrounding it and of course to cute fishing village Marzamemi for sunset and dinner. Thank you dear Rita and your great great team for making us feel so welcome and at home. We’ll be working hard to be able to return next year!

Where do I even begin with San Corrado di Noto? It’s genuinely hard to put into words just how flawless this resort is—every detail feels meticulously thought out and executed with perfection. We were a group of three and stayed in the villas with a private pool, which felt like our own secluded resort within the resort. It was the ideal combination of privacy and luxury. The main pools are stunning—massive and serene, they feel more like tranquil lakes than standard resort pools. And then there’s the beach club. Just a short, private shuttle ride away, it’s a true slice of paradise. Think soft Sicilian sand, perfectly spaced beach beds, Crystal clear water, and uninterrupted relaxation. Let’s talk about the food. After traveling around Sicily, we all agreed: the best meals we had were at the resort. The chef is a true genius, and the service is equally exceptional. If you’re on the fence about booking, I hope this helps make your decision easier: run, don’t walk, to San Corrado di Noto. It’s a 10/10 in every way.

Il San Corrado di Noto is pure magic—an unforgettable slice of Sicilian heaven that welcomes you with open arms and wraps you in luxury, warmth, and sunshine from the moment you arrive. Whether you're traveling as a couple, with family, or a group of friends, this is the kind of place that makes you never want to leave.||The vibe is elegant yet relaxed, with a perfect blend of Sicilian charm and sleek modern design. The rooms are spacious and stylish, the service is exceptional, and the food—oh, the food!—is a celebration of Sicily’s rich culinary traditions, bursting with flavor and made with the freshest local ingredients.||And the pools? Absolutely spectacular. These are hands-down some of the most beautiful and relaxing hotel pools anywhere—sparkling, serene, and surrounded by lush landscapes. But the real showstopper is the hotel’s private beach club: soft golden sand, clear turquoise water, and total tranquility. It’s picture-perfect and feels like your own private slice of the Mediterranean.||What makes it even better? You don’t need a car. The hotel offers a super convenient shuttle to both the beach and to the charming town of Noto, so you can explore, dine, and relax with total ease.||Il San Corrado is also the ideal base for discovering the stunning baroque towns of southeastern Sicily—Siracusa, Modica, Ragusa—each one more breathtaking than the last.||Warm, welcoming, luxurious, and absolutely unforgettable, Il San Corrado di Noto isn’t just a hotel—it’s an experience. One you’ll dream of long after your tan fades

My friends and I had an absolutely wonderful time at Il San Corrado. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and every detail has been thought out, from service to amenities to the grounds. Andrea, Flavio and Fabio who work the pool bar and restaurant made our trip! Every employee went above and beyond, but these three were fun, professional, work incredibly hard, and make every effort to make the experience one you won't forget. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Short drive to get to downtown Noto.

One of the best hotel experiences we've ever had! The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous - every detail thought of while still being incredibly peaceful and serene. The pools are beautiful. And the staff was really second to none. They made us feel like family (big shout out to Andrea, Mattio, Fabio, Flavio and all of the front desk staff!). We really can't wait to go back! Cannot recommend enough.

Extremely clean, luxurious, and overall beautiful place. Entire staff was welcoming and even got time to chat with the owner who was so pleasant. Fabio by the pool and Andrea in the Osteria were a pleasure to talk to and extremely attentive to the guest experience. Looking forward to returning.
