This was our first trip to Sicily and we stayed at 5-Star hotels, in Palermo for three nights, Noto, three (at Il SanCorrado di Noto) and Taromima, four in that order. While we were advised that Taromima would be the standout, it paled in comparison to our stay in Noto. Rita and her team including reception, dining, housekeeping and Spa were exceptional. The hotel architecture is stunning with beautifully renovated rooms, and baths with his and her sinks and dressing areas. We are bankers who travel globally and agree, this place was really special and unlike anything we have ever experienced given the serenity, combined with fine dining and immaculate accommodations including tremendous attention to detail. You will feel like you have the place to yourself no matter where you are on the property, including the beach club, unlike our stays in Palermo and Taromima. We dined at the hotel restaurants including Casa Pasta and Principe di Belludia; both not to be missed. Try the table side tiramisu at the former and do the 7-course tasting menu with wine pairing at the latter. We enjoyed every second, including the creative and delicious gastronomic experience, along with servers who made the night truly magical. The Spa is equally wonderful; with a deep tissue massage that was amazing and half the price versus the other two hotels. Rita walks the grounds and made herself available with warm hospitality; another point of differentiation versus the other two hotels. She even went so far as to call the manager at our hotel in Taromima to inform him of our arrival. We almost changed our plans to return to home, just to return to Il SanCorrado for a few more days! A hearty and sincere thanks again to Rita and team!

We had a spectacular 4-night stay here. Our room overlooked the wonderful long pool. The staff and concierge were so helpful and lovely. The food from both restaurants was delicious. We enjoyed going to the beach club and using the tennis court and sauna at the hotel - in short, all the amenities are amazing. It was such a tranquil and romantic experience. Thank you!

The owner is gracious and welcoming host. The hotel is an oasis of beauty and tranquility. Gorgeous pool-side rooms and suites. Excellent food. A most wonderful break from hotels in the middle of town. We have traveled in Europe many times; this place is special.

After our great stay last year, we once again decided to stay at this gorgeous resort and we are so glad we did!! If you are looking for a quiet retreat with top notch quality in every way, please do not hesitate to book. Rita and her team will make sure you have the best experience. The rooms which are more like private villas are amazing, with all the amenities you could wish for including the best beds and bed linens and bathroom amenities, all kept immaculately clean by the great housekeeping team. It is so quiet that even I as a very light sleeper had deep nights sleep. The amazing pools here never got busy and what a great start of the day swimming laps in the 100 metre pool at sunrise. The food experience is another highlight, from the amazing fresh breakfast with sweet products to die for to a lazy lunch in Casa Pasta poolside and a wonderful garden dinner in fine dining restaurant Principe di Belludia. Everyone of the team provides service with a smile, and will accommodate all your wishes/dietary requirements. Thanks also to the reception and concierge staff, who arranged a wonderful boat trip along the beautiful coast line and advised on a very good restaurant in lovely Marzamemi and the help offered when we needed to extend our rental car. Whether you like to do nothing and just recharge your batteries or would like to combine with lovely trips to nearby Baroque cities, this is the place to be. The hotel’ private beach club is another perk, soft sands, great beach service and comfy beds and shuttle service offered multiple times a day. If the beach club menu were to be further expanded (including for example some nice pasta / other hot dishes) this would be an extra factor drawing us/others to this lovely spot. A big thanks to you Rita and your amazing team for making our stay truly special. Hope to see you all soon again!

I had an amazing birthday celebration at Il San Corrado in Noto. The hotel is new and modern, with spacious rooms that have his and her closets and fantastic amenities. I especially loved that the rooms opened up to the pool area, which has two pools - a stunning main pool and a long lap pool, both of which are incredible. The beach club was also charming and delightful. I got a lovely manicure and pedicure at the spa. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The attention to detail at this place is impressive, and the staff is friendly and provides superb service. They went above and beyond to make my birthday unforgettable. I can't wait to return!

We had a lovely 3 night stay at this resort at the end of May in a suite. We felt genuine Sicilian hospitality and service was overall very thoughtful and well executed. ||We were picked up at the airport with a pre-arranged transfer with the hotel. Corrado picked us up. No issues. One hour ride to the hotel. We arrived late and the staff were thoughtful enough to have prearranged food in the room in case we were hungry - a lovely gesture. ||The resort is picturesque and feels expansive with one large pool and one very long pool. Despite its its there are thoughtful corners with flowers and antiques and cute lemon trees. The overall vibe is rustic understated Sicilian elegance. ||The resort is very serene. Our suite had a patio that opened up to the long pool. Lovely patio to chill or take your breakfast. The suite is well designed with his and hers closet and sinks. Modern and elegant. The shower was very special - large, great rain shower head with strong water pressure. The basin of the shower served as a unique large bathtub. It didn’t look like it would be comfortable to sit it, but it was and two people fit nicely. ||We had dinner at the more casual pasta restaurant. The food was excellent. Lorenzo had excellent knowledge of Sicilian wine and food. He went as far as to write out a list of recommendations for us for the town of Noto - that is service above and beyond and well appreciated. During dinner our servers were worried about bugs and so they brought an electronic bug repellant - little touches that show the staff care about your having a good experience. ||Concierge and management were very gracious and spoke English well. Lorenzo at the concierge desk in particular provided with thoughtful planning and advice. ||The resort has 3 dogs and we met 2 of them - Mia and Mandrake. One of them is a rescue dog and they are now living the good belly rub life in Sicily ! ||Corrado took us to Catania airport at the end of our stay to pick up our rental car. There was an issue with our rental car (welcome to Sicily!) and it took a long time but Corrado stayed with us and our many pieces of luggage until the rental car was sorted and our luggage loaded, and he even went inside the airport to buy lunch for me as I was hungry. This is genuine good service. ||Overall this resort is an excellent authentic option near Noto which provided some much needed rest and serenity after busy travels. I highly recommend the resort. Noto is worth exploring - it has history, it’s small enough to be quaint but has just enough sophistication and good restaurants and a great roof top bar near the church for sunset drinks. ||I was trying to think of suggestions for any improvement to the resort and the only thought I could think of was wifi is not strong in certain areas. Maybe that was intentional - disconnect and feel serene. ||Noto is a 15 minute car ride away. A private transfer in a Mercedes van is 50 euros each way.

This is the most relaxing peaceful spot we have ever chosen. It feels as if you are the only guests on the property no matter how "full" it is. Breakfast is the only time you really see the other guests. The birds seem to be the only other living creatures around. The biggest caveat to San Corrado is we never want to leave. We sleep late, go for a totally solitary swim, get room service from the most wonderful breakfast manager, Giorgio. His smile begins our day. We move on to lunch at Casa Pasta, where Mattia, the manager welcomes us with a gorgeous smile and fabulous suggestions for our lunch. Casa Pasta is enclosed in solid glass partitions so as not to block the gorgeous view. The Principe restaurant is the fine dining restaurant and is sure to be on the Michelin list soon. The head chef Martin is a 29 year old creative who turns sicilian cuisine into works of art. Bennito runs the wine cellar and does an excellent job with the list. He is so helpful and kind. The passion for their jobs is shown through their smiles and patience. They have a way of making you feel as if your are part of their family. |We have stayed in many properties throughout Sicily and this has become our go to spot. We recharge our batteries and fall in love again. It keeps calling to us even after we have left. I must go so I can book our stay for next summer.
