The service was really good. The waiter was very attentive. The food was really delicious, and good quality. Very clean place. One of the things we ordered was the octopus, which surprisingly was decadent. There is a pizza oven. You can see, so the pizza is very fresh and has a wonderful color. We ordered the pepperoni pizza, I especially loved the crust. Nice color. Also ordered the cheesecake at the end. The cheesecake was perfection. Would highly recommend this place.

Our family of 4 went here for dinner due to a recommendation. Now, the service was excellent & food very good. We had 1 Margarita pizza, 1 pepperoni, 1 chicken parm & 1 small salad. 3 had soft drinks & 1 had water. The bill was $152! Now, we new their prices were a little high but when we sat down at the table he asked if we wanted bread. Assuming it was complimentary we said yes. He did not tell us it was $12. Refills on Cokes are not free so 5 drinks were $22.50. They were poured into a small wine tumbler sized glass with ice so it wasn't a lot of soda to begin with. Then what looked like an 18% tip was automatically added. We had planned on going back tonight for dinner because food & service was so good, but not now. They need to be upfront about hidden costs.

Service was excellent! Espresso martini cost $24. The chef had no problem recooking the steak 🥩.The restaurant is located inside the hotel. Yes! We got lost by using Google map.

Definitely the best pizza I’ve had on the island so far. For $24 you get a pretty decent sized pie which was a great value. Although the margarita pizza was missing the basil leaves. Service was great. We had a party of 7 so grat was automatically added. Would definitely recommend.

Me and my husband had the opportunity to visit IL Sole Pizzeria located inside the El San Juan Fairmont hotel for dinner and we were very impressed with the service given by our waiter Luca. Luca was a great listener and made sure all of our need were met. The drinks were perfect and the pizza was so very fresh and delicious. Thank you, Luca, for making our experience a joyful memory.

My wife had the Spaghetti Bolognese, tasty, I had the Chicken Picata, I requested no butter, meal was freshly made. Garlic bread is tasty.

This place has some mediocre food for very overpriced. Portion sizes are small and just cause they are in a nice hotel, they can charge you 3 different taxes on top of auto gratuity. If you are gonna charge auto gratuity, at least have good service. All the waiters are just loafing around and joking with each other. The atmosphere however is really nice and table setting was on point . The 2 dishes below costed $88 with all the fees so come to this place with that information. Overall a 3 star experience for a 5 star hotel.

The most delicious food in Isla Verde! I love the seafood pasta most and their dessert. I’ve been here several times and tried some different menus, but they all taste delicious! Their food is never hit or miss!!!

Great find located inside the El San Juan hotel. Great pizza with many choices. They also offer several Italian dishes. There is also a wide selection of Gelato. I make sure I visit at least once every time I go to San Juan.

Ate here out of convenience of not leaving the hotel. The food was just ok and our bill was kind of high. $128 for 2 lemonades, lobster ravioli, pepperoni pizza, and Cesar salad. Lobster ravioli (5 pieces) says pink sauce but it was very orange with a strong tomato sauce taste. I didn't care for it at all. Pizza was greasy but it was edible. Cesar salad was also just ok. A regular lemonade was $7 each which I thought to be a little ridiculous. I would not go back here.

Place so crappy I had to come out of self-imposed review exile to report on this place. - Located in what is hands down one of the best hotels in Puerto Rico, so expectations were high. Besides, how bad can you screw up a pizza, right?! - Ordered fried calamari: 9 pieces, chewy, on a small bed of stale shredded lettuce, side of red sauce a step or two better than Chef Boyardee - Waiter came and offered garlic bread (non-garlic bread wasn't available). Bread is usually free. Garlic bread might be an upcharge. In this place, they took a flat bread the size of a pita bread, put on some garlic flavoring, sliced it up, charged a lot of money for it... So no Italian bread, no breadsticks, just over $10 for garlic flavored flat bread. - Small Pepperoni pizza (the size of a kid's pizza at regular pizza place). Thin crust, sauce was underwhelming, not a bad pizza, but not a good pizza by any means, specially for the price... - Pizza with chorizo / sausage... The Chorizo / Sausage... Think sliced Chef Boyardee meatballs... Kinda mushy, nary a hint of flavor, and the consistency of firm tofu. And just like the Pepperoni pizza, small and underwhelming sauce. Now let's talk service: - The staff was attentive, I'll give them that. Also, taking on account their location, they should not be expected to advice customers that everything is an upcharge... Overall good services - Place settings were too cheap for the environment... Yes, it's a pizza place, so maybe cloth napkins might be a tad too much. However, forks and knifes wrapped in a white paper napkin as your only items on the table screams cheap!... Specially for the price - Asked for red pepper and parmesan... Red pepper came in a shaker, parmesan in a little plastic thimble... Damage? 1 large bottle of water, 2 small pizzas, 1 calamari, 1 garlic bread, tip included over $120.00usd

Very pricey. Added gratuity to bill with only 4 guests at table. Food not special. Find a pizzeria outside hotel.

You know what I loved about this place? The hours. They offered a full menu until late. I'm pretty sure I walked out their front door around 4:AM. Service was friendly. I got the shrimp mofongo which was recommended. The shrimp on top was excellent. The mofongo was dry, hard, and I could only eat the top portion that had been moistened by the shrimp sauce. I'd come back, particularly for quality late night food. So, 3 stars for the food...5 stars for serving food late...gets you 4!

Superb pizza and service I really can't complain! Came here with a group and got a really good waiter which if I'm not mistaken was named Christian, the food took a long time but when it finally got to our table we understood why! it was something out of this world made with tons of love!

I came here during my stay at the San Juan not sure what to expect. Boy did I get an expierence. First of all when I arrived to the restaurant nobody was there to greet or seat me and my friend, we waited about 10 minutes and finally got the attention of a waitress . We asked her if it was okay to sit anywhere, and she pointed to a table in the back. As we sat down we noticed that the table was gross and not even wiped down from the previous customers. The waiter finally came over about 10 minutes after we were seated and took our drink orders. It then took another 15 minutes to get a glass of water and 45 minutes to get our food. You can defiantly skip this restaurant, not worth the wait

Why 1* very easy, the waiter/bartender didnt want to be here and the all atmosphere between him and the waitress atroce!!! She almost cried when he was talking down to her so badly!!! Ismael you need to leave the industry of taking care of people either way customer or fellow coworker!!! Maybe an overnight security guard chasing the iguana will suit you better. Terrible service!!! On a good side, kitchen deliver a top notch food 5* for them and my word are underestimate but poor/bad service kill my experience and made me runaway!! I just arrive on the island and will be living and working here, but i ll make sure i d came back to Ismael isnt there. And if you look to have change back forget about it, only change provide was 5$-10$ and 20$ out of 100$ for a 25$ bill....better pay by card or exact change, again Ismael you have nothing to do in this industry.

We stopped here during one of the last nights of our honeymoon after we played some slots in the El San Juan hotel casino. We only had dessert but it was excellent. I believe I had a cappuccino which was good and some unbelievably awesome gellato. I wondered why we didn't come here sooner it was tasty I imagine the pizza must be great too!

Be prepared to wait! For your food that is. It took about 25 minutes to get a Caesar's salad and 40 minutes to get our pizza. The pizza was delicious though a bit salty. Our server was very nice and made sure to get our order correctly. If I go back, I'd go for the gelato which looked amazing. I just hope it won't take 20 minutes to serve a scoop.

I wanted a casual place with good food, good service and good people watching. I ordered a burger medium well, with cheddar and bacon with a side of fries. The condiments were on the table in packets, all the ketchup, mustard and may you could want. The burger that arrived was placed between two rock hard panini-zed deli flats. I asked for a soft bum and was promptly given that. The cheese was sparse and the bacon severely over cooked. The beef was delicious and cooked as I preferred it. The iceberg lettuce, pale thinly sliced tomato added little to the sandwich. The French fries were steaming hot and delicious. Both items arrived in deep fryer baskets- nice gimmick. My server/hostess was awesome. She was friendly and not over attentive. She responded when I needed her. She earned a good tip. The cappuccino was amazing!! Perfectly frothed milk and robust espresso! I enjoyed it so much. I spend $26 with tips. And this is the more affordable offering at the ESJ hotel and Casino. I love vacations!!

Horrible service! No one greeted us when we entered (not a single employee at the hostess podium/entrance). We had to walk up to a server who was behind the counter to tell her we wanted to order to-go, she said 'ok', but we were never handed a menu. Sat at the bar and waited 10-15 minutes, where several servers passed us multiple times, yet no one welcomed us or tried to take our order. We were completely ignored! Finally, I asked another lady for a menu and ordered from her. This place definitely lacks customer service. No one made eye contact with us or spoke to us besides when they handed over the bill and our order.

On the night we ate here, the service was very slow. I attribute this to them either having an inexperience waiter or they were short staffed. The food was great! I had the spaghetti with onion sauce and it was out of this world good. I'd go back.

I've only had the pizza from here and I absolutely love pizza as it is my favorite food and the pizza is delicious! The Divola pizza is my favorite

I ordered pizza to go here when I stayed at the hotel. I definitely recommend the frommagio pizza. The cheese pizza was good, as well. They also had many other entree options including breakfast! Very cute atmosphere.

Pizza and gelato are fabulous. Coffee is so - so. It's Puerto Rican style coffee which they add steamed milk to and it's a bit watery and not very hot. Be prepared for service to go slowly in Puerto Rico - arrive early and enjoy the relaxed pace!

Watch out for the late night prices, they are sky high. The prices for food are not posted and it was our mistake not to ask. Otherwise we would've saved $12 on a little cup of hummus and pita chips. Granted, everything was fresh, no hummus in the world is worth $12. Please ask for the price before ordering. Our service by the waiter up front was great and he was very friendly!

Excellent service and food. Their veggie thin crust pizza is delightful.

The food was pretty good, I got penne vodka with chicken and my friends got tortellini funghi and the arugula salad. The service was HORRIBLE, which was a huge disappointment!

Just had their $9.99 special burger. It was fine but comes with no fries. They charged me for my soda refill. Everything way over priced. Just not a good vibe. Everything seemed to take longer and more difficult than it should, even paying the bill. Only come here if you are desperate and can't walk across the street for better options. I only came here to try it out. I won't be back.

Stayed at the ESJ hotel this week and have been here a few times. The cheese pizza is decent for where u are and if you have kids it is a cheap alternative to feed them compared to everything else here. Ordered meatballs and spaghetti and unfortunately it was probably the worst meatballs and sauce I have ever had. They seemed like they were over cooked by 2 days. One of the best things I got was the bruschetta. That and the gelato is why I give it 4 stars.

Excellent service, affordable food, casual and friendly envieinment. Good for a relaxed dinner, a place where you can eat and talk without loud music or noise. Great hummus and quesadillas.

i ate here a few times. the first night, the chef made me a special vegetarian soup. it was so sweet of him and the soup was really good. service went downhill after that night. we ordered pizza, but if you order after a certain time, late night prices are applied. so half of our order was normally priced and the other half was not. another day, i had to flag down to get helped and they took their sweet time attending my party. i was pretty annoyed.

After a few days in San Juan we were craving some non-Authentic food. Came here the try the pizza. The pizza was decent, service decent too. The pizza hit the spot. The gelato was not worth it. It was inexpensive and hit the spot.
