Family-owned spot with live music vibes, a crowd-pleasing prix fixe lunch, and Tuscan-accented comfort—think vongole, rigatoni alla Siciliana, and classic scaloppine. Verified via the restaurant’s site and recent diner listings.

Absolutely exceptional service. Beautiful intimate setting and Andres is so professional and fun! The drinks (Moscow Mule + Wine) were delicious. The Diablo seafood pasta was top tier. The ambiance is zen and fun. Thank you for a fabulous experience. The locals there make you feel at home. Can’t wait to go back and try more things from the menu and check out the live music on the weekends!

Google
The restaurant has a fresh and welcoming vibe. The staff is friendly nice and knowledgeable. It is a beautiful family business. The food was great and the staff did not let us suffer at all. Highly recommended.

Google
I was dying to try this place and finally did for your anniversary dinner. It was worth the wait. Amazing food!!! We started with the Crispy Spring which was absolutely delicious. I could easily go again and order 5 of those by itself, it was that good. After that we had the Penne Italiano and the Manicotti. The Penne Italiano is a definite must try. The ingredients were fresh and vibrant. The Manicotti was also great. The creaminess of the dish was perfect. There are sooo many other dishes that I want to try. The service staff was great and gave excellent advice. My only negative was the pictures of the wall and the TVs. The atmosphere of the place is nice enough without 100 pictures of the wall and the football game in the background.

Google
IL Toscano Ristorante Italiano exceeded my expectations. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and treated like family. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff were attentive to every detail. The appetizers were a burst of flavor, each bite of the ceviche, burrata, and calamari was a delightful experience. While my white fish did have a few small bones, it didn't overshadow the overall dining experience. The entrees were generously portioned, and the fettuccine Alfredo was simply divine. And let's not forget the chicken parm - it's a definite must-try! Overall, IL Toscano Ristorante Italiano offers an unforgettable culinary journey with its delicious food and exceptional service. I can't wait to visit again and indulge in more of their tantalizing dishes. To top off there was live music featuring classics from Frank Sinatra and more, it added a touch of elegance and nostalgia to the evening. It truly elevated the atmosphere.

Google
I went there for my birthday March 2025 and was very disappointed. I’ve eaten there before and it was decent. Had the chicken Parmesan and both were tasteless. The restaurant was empty as well. Speaking to my niece she also commented to me she went and had to return the appetizer and entree. Will not be going back. I wonder if they changed chefs.

Google
Big restaurant & spacious. The service was second to none. It's a hidden gem in west pines. I enjoyed my dinner date with my husband. The dirty martini was very well made, and a generous amount. The vegetable pasta was cooked to perfection. The char on the ribeye really was made by a person who is proud of their work. There are stand up comedy shows at this location and we can not wait to visit again.

Google
Been here several times. I love the food. It's hard to find food of this quality in west Pembroke Pines. We need more restaurants of this caliber out that way. The meatballs, veal cutlet and chocolate souffle is DELICIOUS HERE! A must-try!!! Great service. Staff is always nice.

Google
Love the place . The food was amazing .. the guy which I assume is the son of the owner super attentive, treated everyone like family . I was waiting for an opportunity to go and it was worth it. We both love the wine and the ambiance.

Sawgrass R.

Yelp
Hosted company dinners and outings here! Amazing food and even better staff and team members. Mario and the family make you feel cozy and just like family! We highly recommend this wonderful neighborhood restaurant.

Yelp
Must have changed chefs since our last visit. Service was below average, six drunk customers in table next to us yelling and cursing away, food was mediocre; sadly but, honestly food-court style. Bread was stale, gnocchis and tortellini were meh, tiramisu was not good at all. Not sure what happened but this used to be a great place for dining, service and ambiance. Couldn't wait to get out. Not planning to return.

Yelp
Run dont walk! ! IL Toscano is an absolute must dining experience. Yes, they are deep in west Pembroke Pines but the drive is worth it and then some. Mark my words. You're transformed to your grandmothers kitchen as soon as you walk in. The family, cozy and warmth is difficult not to feel which is one of the many reasons we love dining here. They are a family owned and run shop, if you couldn't yet tell. Be sure to make a reservation, especially on the weekends. We've dined in for dinner on a few different occasions and have never had a bad experience nor a bad meal. From the fresh made pasta, bone in veal chop, baked clams, chicken Marsala, short ribs, lobster ravioli, and everything in between are *chefs kiss*

Yelp
Partner and I stopped by IL Toscano Ristorante for lunch. I was impressed with their large patio dining area and nice interior décor. As they gave a really good wine list I started with a Montepulciano D'Abruzzo from Casata Parini, Italy. Fortunately, it turned out to be a good choice. For my entrée, I had BISTECCA MUSHROOM, a 30.95 12 0Z. SIRLION STEAK IN A MUSHROOM CREAM SAUCE SERVED WITH TRUFFLE MASHED POTATOES AND SAUTEED BROCCOLI. Unfortunately, the steak was well done, though I ordered it rare and was, except for the mushrooms, flavorless. My partner had an escargot served in Perno and a basically white dish ceviche. He thought both were very good. Our service was polite but very slow. Overall, it is a rather nice place but with average food.

Yelp
We went to Il Toscano for the first time and we enjoyed an exquisite dinner and great service. I had previously reserved for New Years Eve but had to cancel for a family invitation. So we decided to have a late lunch or early dinner there. I noticed that many of the guests were habitué of the restaurant, which was appealing to me. We ordered Mozzarella Caprese and meatballs to start. Very savory and the meatballs were juicy. Next visit I will definitely the escargots. My entree was the Chicken Franchese with Truffled mashed potato and Brocoli. I enjoyed every bite! a must try! I also had a side of the Fungi Risotto. We were delighted with our desert, Molten lava cake with vanilla ice cream, I haven't had a good one for so long. And great espresso, i am not a fan for acidic coffee and theirs was great. It was worth the drive. We really enjoyed the dinner. Everything was delightful.

Yelp
Excellent choice if you want good pasta and great service! Let's see: the place is nice sized and decorated spot on Pines Blvd (close to West Broward HS). Easy to find and ample parking and that's always a plus. Then you are cordially greeted and find out there's a happy hour from 4-7 pm? Well we shall enjoy a happy cocktail then! So we were seated at a table since the bar was full, and proceeded to make our selection! I got a Cosmo, my friend a glass of wine and we chose an appetizer to share. Then we each got our pasta main course, and we shared 1 desert. Everything tasted delicious, but I have to say that the chicken Milanese with the penne side was HUGE and I was jealous of her huge take home box as compared to my mini-doggie bag of delicious creamy tortellini... I mean do t get me wrong, my pasta was delicious... but so was her Milanese and it was huge so next time I'm getting one of those! Anyway, all in all it was a great experience. The service was a plus plus, every one was tending to us and making sure we were ok and the food was good. We felt pampered. Around 8 we were finally done eating , and we noticed that a singer was setting up to start his rounds... so if you arrive later, there's some live entertainment as well. Enjoy!

Yelp
Great food and service Never a bad meal or service never sent good back. Servers always around and looking to get what ever is needed for a great dinner 4 stars

Yelp
Il Toscano is hidden gem in West Pembroke Pines. The owners are always present and greet you at the door. The waiters are friendly and efficient, but by far the stars of the menu are the Veal Milanese with pink sauce and the beef carpaccio appetizer. On the weekends the live music is enjoyable and always a family atmosphere. We are regulars! Don't miss out on the best bone in Veal chop, ask for extra pink sauce it's Devine!

Yelp
Very nice experience. The Spanish lady waiter was nice but a little anxious, :( Kept coming to the table for no reason. The Food was good. Overall it's a nice place and the male waiter was very nice, no issues with him.

Yelp
Great italian food! When I'm the west pines. The service is veré attentive and courteous to your needs. the ambiance is very Modern but Classic look. Definitely a family oriented place to go to have a nice quiet lunch or dinner.

Caleila A.

Yelp
The service was incredible! Very speedy and efficient, as well as polite. The ravioli pomodoro was realllly yummy, and filled me up perfectly. The lighting and the ivy really contributed to their beautiful italian ambiance. We came on a Thursday night, so it wasn't that packed, but it was amazing!

Yelp
Talk about THE.BEST.PASTA.OF.LIFE! I don't think I've ever had such fresh and delicious pasta, and I've been to Italy. If you want delicious food, great service, reasonable price, good cocktails w/ a super nice bartender, music that sets the vibe, and perfect sweet treat to end your meal, I highly recommend visiting Il Toscano for date night, family night, or even your next party! Truly a delightful experience and I cannot wait to go back! Special thanks to Veronica for her amazing and attentive service, and Mr Mario! Again! Cannot recommend this place enough! Wow! 5 stars isn't enough!

Yelp
I love this restaurant. My daughter and I have been coming here for years and we always order the vongole fettuccine (clam pasta). The ambiance is nice and classy. They sometimes have live music and they have seating outside under roof and sitting inside. Very family oriented and great for a family dinner. This is by far my favorite restaurant in all Pembroke Pines.

Yelp
This Italian restaurant has good decor. There is plenty of seating for large groups and they have outside dining too. What I like best is that they are pet friendly. I made a reservation a week in advance and was told by the son of the owner that we would have a table by the window. When we arrived, the owner gave us a table in the back room by the restrooms. I explained our reservation but was told that the table in question had been reserved for a long time. The wine was good, The food was not. I had the veal and it was touigh and chewy. The sauce was the best part. The broccoli rabe was excellent but the waiter told me that my order of spinach was in the broccoli rabe. It was not. The waiter was off that night or maybe was new. He kept paying attention to only two people in our party. If I tried to get his attention, he just walked away. I really wanted to like this place and I felt bad for the people in my party because the service was so poor. Overall, Sosta, Broccolini and Spaghetto have way more authentic Italian food. This was not what I expected.

Yelp
Big thanks to Mary Anne C. for hosting this wonderful U.Y.E. A group of us braved a tropical depression and Friday the 13th to met up for and evening of Italian fare at Il Toscano Ristoranted in Pembroke Pines. They offer both outdoor seating on their covered patio and indoors in their large dining room. On the night we dined they had live music by Danny Prus, One Man Band which I really enjoyed. We were put in the side room which they use for large parties and we had it to ourselves for most of the evening. A Yelp check in nets you a free drink, even with alcohol or a dessert. That was very nice of them and I started the evening with a delicious house Moscato. Others at the table opted to save their check in for dessert. While we perused the menu we were brought a complimentary bread basket. I munched on that while others ordered delicious looking appetizers. For my main course I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana which came with a side of penne. Others ordered veal and Lasagna. I have no complaints with the food although others were less enamored. Ordering it was another story. Our server, who I didn't even get his name, took orders like he was in a rush. He would take half the orders at the tables and start walking away leaving those of us on the end of the table yelling our orders at this back. It was almost comical. He brought one persons dessert without asking anyone else if they wanted any. One time we asked if he could snap a picture of the table and you could tell it was real imposition. We just ended up asking the lovely people who came to the table next to us. My dessert was a cappuccino and slice of tiramisu I had to yell as he was yet again walking away before taking all of the orders. My coffee was pretty sad. The one someone else ordered looked better. It was if they made that one and dumped what they had left in my cup. It was only 3/4 full with the saddest little layer of foam. The tiramisu was fine. The added on an automatic 20 percent gratuity to the bill which fortunately someone spotted and pointed out. A little high in my opinion for the service we received. What made this such a great experience was the company. It is so much fun to check out a new place with friends. Great to see old friends and make new like Judy S. Hope to see you all again soon.

Yelp
Food and Service was very good. We really liked their Alfredo linguine. The seafood risotto was also very delicious. We will definitely go back.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place. Italian food, everyone knows it's my favorite. My good friend Mary Anne put a dinner party together. I was with other good friends. However, right now it's just barely a "like" Let's just hope that it has something to do with Friday the 13th and a Tropical Depression named Fred out there... I'll start off with the positives. My veal Parmesan was pretty tasty! The meat was tender, the breading wasn't excessive, and both the penne pasta and filet had a decent amount of sauce which I supplemented with black pepper. The penne pasta side had a good texture also. There was a complementary wine or dessert with the Yelp Checkin and I chose the tiramisu. The cream tasted fresh, and was powdered with a nice amount of cinnamon. Unfortunately, service left a little to be desired. Our waiter seemed less than enthusiastic to take the group picture. He also left a couple of times mid order from some people in our table, including our hostess. I understand they had a large party in our section. However, our waiter seemed to disappear for bits and pieces. As it were, we joked whether the meal was free because we had to track down the manager / owner to get our check. Twenty percent automatic gratuity was another buzzkill. As far as food that could be improved, I wasn't a fan of the warm caprese with the onions. Next time I may stick to the classic cold one.

Yelp
Nice date night spot. I tried their clams I don't remember what it's called but it's an appetizer and it's so good! Will definitely be going back for a main course I only wanted a snack the first time

Yelp
We stopped by here on a Friday night around 7:30 and we were able to grab a seat outside for a part of 2. We weren't dressed appropriately to sit in the main dining area but I wished we were. The atmosphere was buzzing inside with a ton of energy. Service 11/10 - so attentive and nice! Food 10/10 - we split a Caesar salad, which was fresh and had good flavor and the tortellini pasta. It was a HUGE serving for splitting. It was excellent with a lot of sauce - I wanted to just take home the extra sauce to add to more pasta!

Yelp
Best restaurant in West Pembroke Pines family owned and operated specializing in Italian food very family atmosphere very friendly and you meet the owner when you walk in the door all members from servers to the bartender are part of the family food is excellent freshly made and very good Mario is a great leader and an inspiration to his family Andres is an excellent bartender and always has great dinner suggestions
google avatar

Yelp
Service is five stars. Mario is exceptional. He remembers everyone greet them in such a friendly manner. The food quality is good and the portions are a good size. The ambience is great with the music lights and entertainment.
google avatar

Yelp
They treat you like family. Delicious food. Attentive service. Martin and the staff are exceptional. We did our daughter's 17th birthday dinner there. We were allowed to decorate the outside dining area. The food was amazing. Thank you so much. We have been long time clients. Always more than pleased.

Yelp
Great place for a date night. Came here for lunch with some friends. Everyone liked the decorations and flowers out front so we spent some time taking photos first. They have outdoor seating and indoor as well. Being a toasty afternoon, we chose to be inside. Their cleanliness and friendly staff was the first thing I noticed. They also had nice music playing in the background, making the setting very relaxing. Our server gave us recommendations on what everyone usually orders. We were set on the Linguini Marechiaro, Tortellini Alla Briana, and Pollo Parmigiano. While we waited, we had their house bread and calamari. All our main entrees turned out great however, I would've enjoyed a little more Marechiaro sauce. Next time I will be coming for dinner so I can experience their outdoor seating and actually save room for dessert Lol. PS: Service dogs are allowed :)

Yelp
I've been sending my husband here for months to pick up tiramisu, but we finally decided to dine in and found this restaurant to be very good. The food and drinks were delicious, the ambiance for a Friday evening was very good, out in West Pines there isn't too many restaurants like this so I found it to be quite nice. We started out with the calamari appetizer and it was good, a large amount definitely meant for sharing. We love seafood so we both got the seafood linguine and we were not let down, very delicious. I took away one star because our server seemed to have caught attitude with us while we asked the difference between two sauces. Whilst yes, there was a language barrier from him, we still try hard to understand, but he definitely showed frustration that we didn't already know what the sauces were. My other reason for taking away the one star is the fact that we were seated by the window, I looked out the window and down at the sill and it was so dirty, it turned us off a little bit and while we might have stayed a little longer because the live music was great, the turn off from the dirtiness overtook that. I even got the tiramisu to go because I didn't want to stay. Overall, if I'm judging just the food, it's amazing. But dining in kinda tainted my overall experience.

Nicholas G.

Yelp
Food and Service is ELITE, nothing much else to say. One of the best family operated restaurants I've had the pleasure of dinning at. Will be back for any Italian cravings.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious Food, ambiance and service is extraordinary... we live this place and visit very frequently

Dixiana L.

Yelp
Service is absolutely lovely, however, the food is not. Half cook meat, not very clea. escargot. I had a mouthful of sand. Management was gracefully about that and we appreciate the gesture. But overall experience was not worth what we paid vs. what we got.
google avatar

Jacqueline W.

Yelp
We had dinner last night at IL Toscano Ristorante as it is near friends who recently moved to Pembroke Pines. The owner and staff were very welcoming and we found the ambiance, the service and food outstanding. The outdoor area is very inviting and we will consider eating there next time but wanted to enjoy the indoor music. I had the Lombata (veal) Milanese with freshly topped salad which was excellent. The rest of our party enjoyed the calamari, Lombata (veal) Parmigiano, Fettucine Alfredo and Spaghetti Bolognese. We will return again and again!
google avatar

Jennifer H.

Yelp
The service is superb, all the staff is always welcoming and attentive. The food is good and the ambiance is amazing, I love this place overall! Recommend it 100%
google avatar

Rob R.

Yelp
I'm giving them a generous 3 stars because I don't like to bash establishments and the service was good. The food now that's another story. Appetizers were ok we had the sausage and escargot and they were acceptable. My wife had a snapper filet which was good but they smothered it in some sort of sauce not sure what it was but the fish itself was good. I had a watery seafood pasta which was 2 star worthy. Ambiance was good they have live music which wasn't bad. One thing to note... don't go to there if you're looking for authentic Italian food!

Yelp
Excellent all around. Small restaurant. Great food. Good service. Hidden gem. You feel the personalized service without being rushed.

Yelp
This was a difficult review for me. Not to many places have atmosphere. I can't deny this restaurant has a good one. The decor, the live music and low lighting all this things combined gave this place a great atmosphere for me. The singer had a great voice. He was very talented. I truly enjoyed listening to him sing oldies. I found myself moving to the music. We had a group of five and it was a busy night at the restaurant. The service was not so good however the tip is automatically included to your bill. The place looked under staffed and service suffered. To the point that half of our table was serviced the other ones had to wait. It was a little frustrating. I ordered the lasagna. It was warm. I liked the lasagna, good size. The red sauce not so much. My personal opinion was that it's missing Italian seasonings. Sweet and tomatoes was what I tasted. I liked the atmosphere of this restaurant enough that I would probably give the place another chance. Maybe I came in a bad day. I will probably order something that does not have red sauce next time lol. The tiramisu was good. it was a good portion. I enjoyed it. It was my favorite thing. It was complementary with my Yelp check in. That was awesome. This restaurant is located in a really pretty place. Ivy vines adorns the outside walls. This place has an outdoors sitting area. It's actually a nice green peaceful area.

Yelp
Great place. Great staff. Great customer service. Overall great restaurant. To me I think some of the prices are a bit expensive. Food is good. The shrimp on the appetizer is amazing because it's served with the amazing sauce. The meatballs are good also. Dessert is my favorite. They have some great options.
google avatar

Dara B.

Yelp
Great location, plenty of parking. The restaurant is very spacious with outdoor seating. There is live music. For checking in, Il Toscano Ristorante offers a free drink or dessert. Food wise, my order was ok. I ordered the Kale Salad which was very delicious (Walnuts, several chunks of Butternut Squash, Kale and homemade Dijon Salad Dressing). The escargot was ok. I did not care for the sauce. My main dish was the Mama Lasagna. italian bread and butter and oil and vinegar is brought to the table.

Yelp
New York style ambiance with a taste of Italia??.. WHERE? I mean this definitely can not be the same place we dined at last night! .. I mean, there was absolutely no New York style or let alone Italian taste to anything we had! This is a complete insult to any Italian let alone anyone from New York to even claim that this restaurant had a "New York Style" I'm so confused by this! I'm even more confused by other Yelpers giving this place 5 stars - is there a secret menu that I missed ? Because 5 stars is wayyy off. Not much action going on when we arrived. There was only 1 couple dining. We sat down and looked at the menu - from what we saw it seemed okay. The waitress was a bit dry and not very welcoming what so ever. My husband and I ordered some drinks- I had an Aperol Spritz and he ordered an Old Fashioned - the drinks were decent. As an appetizer we ordered Fried Calamari w/ zucchini, however it was more zucchini than calamari. It was okay nothing over the top. My husband and daughter ordered ceaser salads- it was a small plate nothing out of the ordinary( I didn't even bother to take a picture because it was so basic and not pic worthy what so ever) For out main dishes we ordered: Hubby - Steak w/ porcini mushrooms, "truffled mashed potatoes" and a tiny piece of broccoli - 2/10 SMH!! This dish lacked major flavor!! Truffled mashed potatoes where ??? I missed the truffle and the mashed potatoes part because this was not it!! Myself- Chicken Marsala 0/10- What an absolute disgrace to even serve this dish!! This plate was nothing close to what Chicken Marsala is. The gravy was thick and just gross- reminded me of some kind of cafeteria style gravy that just gets slapped on! Terrible!! The color was super dark and the flavor was just definitely not there. The menu states that it comes with truffled mashed potatoes..?? Umm where ?? Because nothing about those frozen style mashed potatoes tasted anything near truffled or fresh or homemade!! Terrible just terrible!! I definitely did not even finish my plate I couldn't. My girls- Fettuccine Alfredo w/ shrimp( 2/10)and Chicken Parmigiana (2/10) The fettuccine was super watery and had no creamy texture at all. It lacked flavor, seasoning, love and just that comforting Alfredo creamy taste that we look for in this dish. A jar of store bought Alfredo sauce would have been a million times better than this one. The chicken parm was basic with no kind of flavor at all- more like a frozen dinner taste and the pasta was beyond hard in texture not at all al dente . A few bites into it and she felt nauseous. I don't know why we were served this quality of food, but it was just overall horrible! I don't like giving restaurants bad reviews, because I understand that we won't always have good days and sometimes the service might outweigh the quality etc .. but this was not the case. We were so disappointed by our meals and service. Note to owner/ manager - Dining here was a complete disappointment. The service and quality of food that is being given does not match the prices! There was no authenticity to any of the dishes we were served. There is no excuse! Do better.

Yelp
We had dinner and it was delicious the place the service and especially Veronica was excellent. I recommend this restaurant you won't be disappointed. Meatballs are excellent !!

Yelp
This place is heaven. It's literally our favorite restaurant. The ambiance, music, and general feel of the place is only outdone by the food. We've been going there for years, and we love it more each time we go.

Yelp
I have been here 4 times and every time it's been amazing. The ambience is perfect. Like I'm in Northern Italy in a quaint cafe! The service is on point. It's a hidden Gem in West Pembroke Pines. Happy hour at the bar from 4p-8p!!!

Yelp
One of the best customer service in Pembroke Pines. The owners greet and remember their customers. The food is great! Nice music too!

Yelp
I had been here before for lunch. They still have a great prix fix lunch menu. BUt my husband and I went this past Saturday evening. It was quite full. Our server was excellent and very courteous and nice. My husband had the Passion Fruit Twist and I had the Miami Caiprinha which was deliious! Then we shared a ceviche, a bit diffrent but again delicious. My husband had Fettucine Alfredo with Shrimp and I had the Lasagna. I cannot tell you how divine they tasted along with great bread. To end it all, we shared the profiteroles stuffed with vanilla ice cream and covered in chocolate fudge. I'm glad our server warned us that three profiteroles came with one order because after the meal we had it was good we shared dessert. All I can ssay it was excellent. DEfintely will investigate the possibility of having a party in the side room. Cannot recommend the place enough. Plus alls ervers were nice and always making sure you were plaeased. We arrived aorund 6:30PM At aorund 8 or so ther was music playlist with 80's music whcih w elve and Latin music too. Loved the music BUT I have to say it was way too loud. That was the one and only complaint. I need a place to eat where the music is nice, don't care of super lively but in the background so I can still hear others at the table Thsi was too loud fr our taste.

Yelp
Outstanding. I like that every time I come to eat the consistency is kept. This time I ordered the lamb and I have to say that is the best I have tried in my life (in comparison with other top restaurants). I had the honor to meet the chef Jose. Thank you for the outstanding dinner. I Can see the passion you have for cooking. PS. I came Friday night and they had live music. Perfect place for special occasions

Yelp
Solid 3.5 all around. We're new to this area in West Pembroke Pines and we were in the mood for some Italian food. I turned to my trusted yelp app and noticed this restaurant right around the corner. The reviews look favorable so we decided to give it a try. The service was above average, we had reservations and we're seated immediately. The hostess was very kind and courteous and a gentleman who appeared to be the manager was also very kind and offered to take our drink order right away. We went with a bottle of Pinot Noir, Line39. Smooth not a bad option. We decided to go with the escargot as our appetizer and linguine dishes as her main course. My fiancé went with the seafood linguine in a red sauce and I went with a pesto linguine and shrimp. We topped it off with the tiramisu for dessert. I took a bite from her pasta, it was quite delicious the red sauce had absorbed the seafood flavors. She also enjoyed the dish, her one drawback was that it needed a little bit of seasoning. She said the seafood was quite flavorful and seemed fresh. I will say the escargot was quite delicious. Drenched in olive oil with a buttery flavor and cook very well. This is a hard dish to get right, we have all the checkmarks on this one. My pesto linguine was on par with what I expected. I wasn't blown away, It tasted like something I can make it home. That's not a knock on the dish, and I'm not saying I wasn't impressed. The pesto had good flavor, the pasta had the right texture, I thought the shrimp was a little bland, But that is an anything that can't be fixed. But overall, like I said on par with a pesto pasta, I was thinking about trying the black pasta. But I was somewhat convinced I wanted to try something different, something I hadn't tried before in a while. Maybe next time I'll give the black pasta a try. The tiramisu is average, I've had better in other locations. Again a little bland lacking in flavor but more like a packaged item and something that was made fresh. The one thing that was above average was the service. The waiter and servers were always coming around checking on us to make sure that we were OK. Drink recommendations were always provided, and he did have a warm family feel style of ambience. The hospitality did not lack and it was the strong suit of the restaurant. If I were to have a do over I try something different maybe I just wasn't a fan of the pesto. The tiramisu, definitely was not what I expected but the other dishes were quite delicious especially the escargot. What elevated the rating from a three star to the four-star was the service. We're nearby so I wouldn't mind coming back and giving it another shot.

Yelp
Ambitious is nice. You can make it a romantic setting at this place. There has been other Italian restaurants that have opened up recently that I personally prefer.
