Top Date Night Restaurants in South Jersey | Eater Philly

"Request a table by the inviting fireplace as you explore the impressive menu at Il Villaggio in Cherry Hill. Try the divine chicken romano with its flavorful white wine lemon sauce or opt for the homemade pasta dishes, including the creamy lobster ravioli and gnocchi offerings. If you’d rather have a more casual date, grab a seat at the bar and share a fried calamari dish with your dining companion as you sip an old fashioned or espresso martini and get to know one another better." - Kristen Kwiatkowski

The sauce is very good. Desserts are good ( Tiramisu, Canoli , coffee & capuchino ) Price : $235 for 3 people plus tips Birthday cake ( piece of cake not free )

So delicious!! The filet mignon was delicious and cooked perfectly and very juicy, the spinach and mashed potatoes which i ordered as a side for it were super creamy and the mussels were perfect. Even the bread and sauce was luxury. Perfect, serene and delicious restaurant to go to for special occasion.

Google
Friendly people and warm atmosphere. Definitely felt welcomed. The food was delicious. The crab cake appetizer was fresh and fantastic. I then followed up with a filet and asparagus that was so tender. It melted in my mouth. My dinner date had the lobster bisque (creamy, flavorful, with tons of lobster) Caesar salad, and scallop risotto (scallops were divine). The dessert menu looked tempting but we were too stuffed for dinner, but we will most definitely be back. Make reservations. It gets really busy on weekends evening/nights. Il Villaggio is a MUST!!!

Google
I would not go there for a holiday pre fixed meal ever again. My family and I went there for thanksgiving and the food was less than appetizing. The portions were tiny for the price, and the one dessert given tasted like sugarless flan. Had the server checked on us throughout the meal, I would have brought my issues to them. Unfortunately, the server was nowhere to be found throughout the experience. What a let down. Save your money and go to a diner. The atmosphere was nice though.

What a beautiful evening from start to finish! Took my son out to celebrate his 17th birthday with the family. The appetizers, cocktails, entrees and desserts were outstanding. Service was stellar -Entri took great care of us. We will definitely be going back. This was the best dining experience we have had for some time!!

I have dash cam footage of the valet driver leaving my keys inside of my car instead of tagging them and taking them with him. I know he left them, because if he had the keys in hand when he shut my door, the four ways would have flashed. It was dark out and i have LEDs so I would have definitely been able to see them flash on the camera. I also did not see my keys in his hands on the camera. I have a big set of keys. Hard to miss. I am not too happy about this. If you want to have a valet service, make sure your drivers actually do what they are supposed to do, and lock the cars…. not leave the keys in to where someone could have stolen anything in my car or the car itself.

Google
Nice place. Food was very beautiful, fresh, and hot. Flavor profiles were not very inspiring to me. I do understand the ingredients should speak for themselves, however, a little more seasoning would be welcomed.

Google
One of our favorite spots. Never disappointed. Our server Ryan was spot on. The shrimp cocktail was superb, chilled to perfection. The blackened yellow fin tuna was delicious. A great night out and a wonderful pre Christmas meal.

Yelp
A long-time, reliable standby in Cherry Hill, Il Villaggio proved once again why it remains such a favorite. I hosted a staff dinner here, and the experience was a hit across the board. The holiday ambiance was warm and festive, the service polished and attentive, and valet parking made arrival effortless. We were seated promptly, and our server suggested ordering appetizers family-style--an excellent recommendation that set the tone for a relaxed, generous meal. I started with oysters on the half shell: beautiful Blue Points, perfectly shucked and served with a bright, classic cocktail sauce. Appetizers included crab cakes, tuna tartare, and grilled calamari, all well-executed and ideal for sharing. For entrées, I enjoyed the tagliatelle Bolognese--rich, comforting, and deeply flavorful. Others at the table ordered the gnocchi in porcini sauce (absolute heaven), chicken parmesan, chicken romano, penne vodka, and two of the seafood dishes, all of which were met with enthusiastic approval. Dessert was equally strong: cannoli, cheesecake, affogato--and I personally indulged in both the tiramisu and an affogato, a pairing I'd happily repeat. From start to finish, Il Villaggio delivered on ambiance, hospitality, and consistently excellent food. Everyone agreed they'd return anytime--and I definitely recommend it for both special occasions and reliable, crowd-pleasing Italian dining.

Yelp
This was our second year coming here for our anniversary. We love everything about it here. We also sat at the bar tables for playoff baseball because part of our relationship is our love for baseball and it's playoffs baby! We split the buffalo shrimp appetizer which was excellent. The bread that came out the table was soft warm and fresh. Oddly probably for the first time ever we ordered the same thing. Chicken parm and as expected it was awesome. We ordered a side of pasta which came out hot and fresh with the perfect texture. For desert we had the cannoli and again it was amazing. As a treat we had chocolate martinis which were very different than other places we get them however that's not a bad thing because they were also excellent. A few things to note which I always look for. Everything here was very clean. Service was beyond excellent. Everybody who worked here was constantly moving there was never anybody ever just standing around if they weren't tending to customers they were cleaning something and that's the difference between dining and fine dining in my opinion. This is one of the places we always say we need to come to more often I believe if it was closer we would.

Yelp
I wanted to try an Italian restaurant location that I have never tried before. I scrolled through Yelp and found IL Villaggio. What a beautiful location! This is a large restaurant with regular dining seating, a bar area, banquet areas, and outdoor seating. It was a sunny but not too hot of a day so I chose outside seating. The penne vodka pasta had the perfect Al dente bite. The drinks were good! The dessert was decadent. My waitress Heather was so awesome. Checked on me but was not overbearing and suggested items on the menu. I will be back Soon!

Vince D.

Yelp
Amazing time at the bar. Food was great and so was the service. The owner Andy is always around and very welcoming. Great bar vibe

Frank M.

Yelp
Dined there Saturday night for the first time. Great experience! Bar tenders were attentive and drinks were on point. Food from appetizers to desserts did not disappoint. Marco was our waiter he did an outstanding job, he was attentive but not over bearing. II Villaggio is now in our restaurant rotation. Frank

Yelp
We came on a Friday around 5:30ish! We got seated right away and on the patio! It was nice outside and you can see fresh grapes and limes growing out on the patio! You see desserts walking by and staff moving around with smiles. We got 2 cocktails, I would say those we could have gone without. Everything else would get again!! The Maine mussels were huge and cooked great! The sauce was so yummy (white sauce). Fresh bread comes out for an appetizer. The waitress went over our specials. We ordered a salmon dusted with pistachio and a glaze. We also got shrimp and scallop pasta....whatever sauce that was it was soooo yummy!! We listened to live music as well. Price for 2 cocktails and food was $126.00! Worth the price. Try it out! I will go back!

Yelp
We dined at this restaurant on Thanksgiving. Our reservation was at 6:00, we were not seated until 7:30 because the hostess kept calling our home line knowing we were in the bar. Service was very slow and requires were not followed. Turkey was dry and cut thick. We will not return next year.

Dolores O.

Yelp
The food was delicious, great Manhattan, Marco the server was EXCELLENT!! Love the bar.

Yelp
WOW! Haven't had such amazing service in a long time and then amazing drinks and food to boot! From the hostess to the valet, this was an amazing experience. Benny was amazing and so attentive.

Yelp
Having never been to Il Villaggio, I am pleased to say we had a nice time at their brand-new swanky bar! It's aesthetically pleasing with a city vibe. This would be a great spot to host a private cocktail party. It was the evening before Thanksgiving, and it was relatively quiet at 5:00 PM. By 7:00 PM, the (large) bar area was quite packed. The restaurant doesn't offer a true Happy Hour. They have bar bites and specialty cocktails, but there are no discounts during certain hours. It appears you can order off the bar menu right up until closing. The four of us ordered a few appetizers to split (Paccheri Burrata, Calamari, Rib Eye Meatballs, and Scallop Fragole). We were pleased with our selections...everything was delicious! One thing worth mentioning was the demographics of the crowd. It was mostly older gentlemen (~70 years old and up), who seemed to all know each other (regulars?). We were the youngest bar patrons by a landslide. It wasn't an issue for us, but if you're seeking to mix and mingle among a younger crowd (middle-aged or under), this may not be the spot for you. Although perhaps this particular evening warranted a gentlemen-of-a-certain age crowd? We'll have to return to find out!

Yelp
I dined here for a work Christmas dinner December 2023. Dinner was good. When we all pulled in they were requiring us to valet. I did not care for that. I asked if I could park my own vehicle and I was told no. If I had known it was required valet, I would have ubered there. I have a brand new car that had not been driven in recent history. It was in perfect condition. I looked over the car quickly as I could when I left but it was dark. The next day I looked at the car and it had a 3" x 3" patch on the lower part of the left bumper that was ground down to metal. I was nauseated. There is no way this was done without the driver being aware. I called and left a vm. No reply. I sent an email to mgt. No reply. I knew they wouldn't be willing to help with the $1,000 body work fix. Only they have the camera footage from the property to see what happened. But, I would have appreciated being acknowledged as a customer with a reply. You shouldn't make your customers valet without notice. You should return people's calls and emails. I will never dine here again. Be wary with your cars as the valets will not treat your vehicle with care nor be transparent when an accident occurs.

Chris E.

Yelp
The outside seating in this restaurant is phenomenal. For appetizers we had Barada and the grilled calamari. Both were really, really really good. The cocktails here are awesome. The list has something for everybody, and if you want something off the list, they are more than accommodating. The tomahawk steak that was not on the menu was to die for The tiramisu was delicious

Yelp
Another wonderful dining experience at Il Villagio! We dine very often at Il Villagio and love everything about this gem. Last night we had another wonderful server named Heather. She was professional and personable--the best combination! The food is always superb! The owners and entire staff make you feel welcome and special. It is our favorite place to dine and relax with friends. Nancy and Fred Rosen

Yelp
Tonight brought me here for a retirement party. The room was very pretty - the staff, very courteous. Beautiful restaurant, overall. Thank GOD that I had lunch because the service was so slow and I don't fancy going to parties HANGRY! I would think that they'd be masters at party hosting / service ... not! My one poor co-worker was famished. Im sure others were the same. I was pretty darn hungry by the time the first course - pasta (interesting) arrived. It was excellent by the way! Next was salad - very good. I went with the salmon for my main course. Twas delicious! Coffee and cannoli for dessert. (I brought my cannoli home, as I don't like it). I used the bathroom before departing. It was cold, the faucet water was cold, and the Dyson hand dryers (you could also opt to dry your hands with dirty looking (rolls of) paper towels strewn about) were kicking out cold air! I couldn't wait to get out of there! I'd love to come back for a personal lunch or dinner, as I'm pretty sure that the service would be much better. ps - please improve bathroom cleanliness!!!

Yelp
This spot was pretty good! It's a restaurant/banquet hall, so the night we went (a random weeknight), there was zero parking in the whole lot, and we had to leave and park in a nearby plaza and walk over. The service was pretty nice, and the food was enjoyable. Will probably be back.

Yelp
First time here. The service was great. Our waiter was very attentive. The soup (shrimp and crab) was decent. The lobster raviolis were not great. Sauce was good but the raviolis themselves were eh. I've had much better. My friend got a steak and I tried it. It was their special. Strip steak. It had absolutely no flavor or seasonings and I was glad I hadn't ordered it. However, the Tiramisu was really really good. Strangely, the drinks weren't great. Had the espresso martini and peach cosmo.

Yelp
Very nice happy hour. The restaurant is lovely with several rooms. Bar is a nice size with comfortable pub chairs. Our barmaid was the best and quickly took our orders. I had a delicious hh burger. We also had some shrimp, Caesar salad and calamari to share among four and the portions were more than an ample as appetizers. I'll definitely return here!

Megan B.

Yelp
Amazing food, definitely coming back next time, the waitress is excellent and very nice

Yelp
We had the most amazing clams in white sauce on Christmas Eve. The right amount of garlic and seasoning - not too much, just enough to bring out the flavor of the perfectly cooked fresh clams. Love the service and the team at this South Jersey gem!!!

Yelp
Just had an educational work dinner here in a nice private room. The servers were attentive, the food was delicious, and the room was perfect for our event. We started with beer and wine, a chilled antipasto bar, then a house salad and choice of entree. I really liked the antipasto bar. My chicken parm was delicious, 2 crispy breasts over pasta, I had enough for leftovers. We wrapped up with coffee and a perfect mini cannoli, the sweet end to a nice dinner.

Yelp
A party of eight came here on a Sunday afternoon for my mom's birthday. We over ordered appetizers. We all dove in and I forgot to take pictures! Everything was amazing! We got two orders of the burrata which had a crispy piece of pancetta on top with tomatoes and roasted peppers, a cheese platter, two orders of the clams with pesto (sauce was tasty for dipping), and grilled calamari. No leftovers! I would definitely get the clams again. For my main I got the whole Branzino. He filleted it at the table. It was very fresh and delicious although I found a few bones. I had the leftovers in a fish taco the next day. I paid extra for the broccoli rabe on the side instead of regular vegetables. They had the stoli dolis and we enjoyed those too. They have their liquor license now. I walked around the place to look at other rooms. There was a baptism celebration going on in one room and a funeral reception in another. It is an amazing space and we were all amazed we had never heard of it. We sat in a room with a nice fire. Some in my family complained that they sat all 8 of us around one round table but I liked it because no one was far away. It was a little tricky with all the appetizers but we managed. Loved the warm bread and the dipping oil too! Great food and portions were generous. Great service too and this crowd is very particular about that! We did not get to try the desserts because we brought a birthday cake which they cut and served. When the bill arrived they did not add a tip to our party of 8. I highly recommend this place for large parties and just a nice meal out too!

Yelp
Dinner and drinks were delicioso!! Very busy so it was alittle loud and service a tini bit slow but overall very good!!

Yelp
Il Villaggio is quickly becoming my new favorite Italian restaurant in SJ and for good reason. We first came here for a birthday back in August and had a great experience between the food, wait staff and ambiance of the reatauant. One of the servers was even serenading some tables with his guitar. On my first visit, I had the pork osso buco over risotto. It was so tender and flavorful. The juice from the pork soaked into the risotto, which made it even better. I devoured it before I could even snap a pic. We came back one month later for my birthday and enjoyed it even more the second time. We started with the grilled calamari and long hots stuffed with Gorgonzola and prosciutto - both great. The peppers had a real kick to them which I like. I had a hard time deciding between the veal chop (which my father insists is the best) or the pork chop. I ultimately went for the latter and stole a bite of his veal Parmesan. The pork chop was porcini crusted, topped with Gorgonzola in a port wine reduction w/broccoli rabe and yes it's as good as it sounds. The service was top notch. Our waiter along with the manager regularly checked up on us but did not make us feel rushed. This would be a great place to come with a big or small group as there are multiple rooms throughout the restaurant. Already looking forward to a return visit!

Cindy D.

Yelp
This place is Amazing! Second time we've been here. Service is a 10! Food was absolutely incredible!

Maryann T.

Yelp
The fire was raging but controlled. The service was attentive but not intrusive. The food was amazing from the seafood appetizer to the fresh salads (Caesar and arugula) to the airy puffiness of the gnocchi every item was excellent! Can't wait to return!

Yelp
Terrible, horrible, and not worth your time, money, or patience. The bar can't make drinks. The kitchen sends out overcooked cold salty food. The management and ownership don't care as long as you pay. Complete waste. Also, smells like a sewer.
google avatar

Dave L.

Yelp
Had an incredible meal there this weekend we order the calamari, carpaccio and mussels for appetizers and me and my fiance both had the gnocchi in a blush cream sauce with crab meat.

Audrey P.

Yelp
My first time here. Food and service were phenomenal!!!! Excellent music too, at the the bar. I believe here name was Joanie Schneider. Phenomenal also! Extremely pleasant environment, food, drinks, service, entertainment! Cant say enough good things

Yelp
I'll Villaggio has been a favorite birthday dinner spot of mine, so I decided to go back for my 32nd birthday. While the food and service was excellent, I had a few downsides to my visit this evening, but all in all it ended wonderfully. To begin, I made revelations maybe two months in advance (or close to it) to specify the spot I'd like for my dinner which was in one of the elegant rooms with white tablecloth covered tables. When my guests and I arrived, the hostess staff were incredibly unfriendly. They were around mid twenties of age. They often looked each other while we were talking to them and then snickered. I felt very uncomfortable. Once we were sat down, I was confused as to where we were seated which was in the room with the bar and a more rustic look and wood high top tables. If I were going to watch the game this would be fine, however well in advanced I did notate a special request to be placed in another room. I kindly told our server and the manager came over to move us. He was very kind about it and I appreciated that. We were sat in a more appropriate room with a round table with a white tablecloth and beautiful chandeliers. Our server was the kindest man who also had an appealing sense of humor. He made the night, I have to say. Our appetizers, meals and drinks were all perfect. I couldn't complain about any of the food. The meal I had was so good I plan on going back again for a normal dinner just to get it. I will say that during our meal and where we were sat, you could see some of the hostesses I mentioned earlier. They continuously stared at us and were very clearly talking about us. It was just very odd and I am surprised a restaurant like this hasn't noticed this behavior. At the end of the night, our server serenaded me with a guitar for my birthday and I loved it! As for the temperature in the restaurant, there was an on and off of air conditioning and it was October, so sometimes I was a bit chilly, but it wasn't constant so I was ok. So yes I will be back, however I truly hope they change who runs the hostess area.

Yelp
Delicious food and fabulous banquet services! Pricey but that's Cherry Hill ‍ when in doubt get the Penne Vodka - never fails! Ambiance is dark but also warm and inviting. Restaurant has great potential! Staff is knowledgeable and kind.. Very attentive to customer needs!

Yelp
Excellent food, excellent service. Great atmosphere and beautiful Thursday night live music! Loved it.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with wonderful staff. They start you off with some bread and their dipping oil. Nice and soft interior and the dipping oil is magnificent with a slight touch of sweetness. Linguine Carbonara 4/5 Pro: Deliciously creamy, perfect Al dente noodles Con: Peas really add nothing to it; needed fresh cracked pepper; pancetta was mild tasting and could've used more of it and stronger flavor to cut the creaminess of the dish. Overall this made the pasta a singular note Chicken Arrosto 3/5 Pro: Sauce was great; vegetables cooked well Con: chicken slightly overdone. crab meat cooked to death; dry and lost its sweet flavor and texture. Tiramisu: 4.7/5 Pro: Delicious! Nice flavor profile; not too sweet and not too bitter. Every bite makes you want more and the strawberry breaks away from the heaviness of the tiramisu. Con: ladyfingers sponge portion was a bit disappointing. Texture was not exactly soft spongelike or crispy or hard but more stale like. Which I understand is how some people make it. Texture kinda of fell there for me personally. Lava Cake: 3/5 Pro: Taste great; love the gelato with it Con: Nothing special. Didn't feel like it was worth the price and wasn't particularly "lava center". Overall: Pretty decent experience and food was good compare to the price. They have some tantalizing specials and maybe I'll try one of those next time!

Yelp
Went for a wedding rehearsal- great place for ambience. Had live music by their VERY busy bar- dimly lit, old school. Food was very good, service was fine. The way this place looks and feels, the food really doesn't matter. And I have never said that about any other local place
google avatar

Yelp
To be fair all reviews should have positives and negatives to be fully objective. So let's start with the positives. Open every day, lunch and dinner, valet parking, live music weekly, fireplace and an outdoor area in season. They also have happy hour. That is a pretty good combo of items, if only they knew how to execute. Let's talk live music, it is nice in the bar area, but nowhere is it on their web site regarding what nights, totally hit or miss. I went on a Saturday, no music, so I assume that it is not a music night. Talked to a bartender about the lack of any online presence of the music so perhaps they could correct it, to no avail (that was in the summer). Now the location has a storied past as having housed Nonna's, the well regarded Northen Italian BYOB. I feel the food peaked from there. The current restaurant occupies the entire building where previously the space had a I believe a hair salon and a long time ago a cigar shop. The larger space allow the restaurant to offer business lunches, aka pharmaceutical events as well as offer a catering hall venue. This catering hall mode is unfortunately intertwined with normal dining experience. Let me elaborate. Dining out, the service felt sloppy and unpolished, aka catering hall. The server would disappear for lengths of time. Drop a bottle of wine on the table and not open it and walk away? Wine glasses in the restaurant are industrial grade diner style, different glasses in the bar are slightly nicer. I had requested dinning room, I got the farthest long narrow room, that lacked wall decoration but sported a TV with a video of a fireplace. Probable an ok room for a budget wedding, but there are many other Italian restaurants with a better feel. Could you at least attempt to make the room inviting? We were told that everything on the menu is a la carte, meaning entrees include no sides. I get the Capital Grill does that, but this place is not the capitol Grill. The food, well out of a party of 6, two people liked the meal, four said let's not go back. To be inclusive, the bar area is nice and did not exist when it was BYOB. They only kept the bar on one side cutting in half potential bar seating, I think the bar has maybe 22 seats, which is a free for all if you decide to go for happy hour. Bartenders when I had visited were inattentive and enjoyed being on their phones. Could you at least offer water when someone orders a drinks and sitting at the bar? That is SOP. For a restaurant. Changing the bar, I am sure would be a considerable expense but improving the aesthetic of the place and educating the wait staff, well, that is SOP for a restaurant. I am only posting this review as I discussed this with another dining friend who agreed they had 2 inconsistent meals here and questioned why they would go back for a 3rd try, they wouldn't. I felt better that I was not out of line with the experience. I post this with the hope the place can makes changes for the better as they seem oblivious to their issues.

Yelp
The grilled octopus is amazing! The gnocchi in tomato sauce are like pillows of happiness. My husband and I shared the risotto and it was so tasty. Service is always excellent and the ambiance is truly elegant.

Yelp
Food was delicious besides the gnocchi missing crab meat and the asparagus not being cooked. Our server, Sarah, was awesome. She was attentive and personable. I was debating giving 3 stars because the wait times were awful. They definitely did not have the staff needed for the amount of people they had on reservations. We made a reservation for 7:45. We weren't seated until 8:30 and only because I went up to the desk to see what was taking so long. They had crossed our name off the list for some reason. After getting seated we put in apps and they came our fast. We quickly put our order in since we were very hungry, and it didn't come out until 9:50! We had a few bites and then wrapped the rest up because we were over the wait. Do not book every table if you don't have the man power to give a good experience.
google avatar

Limi L.

Yelp
Amazing food and dining experience. I got the grilled calamari which was delicious. The ravioli and the veal entrees were also delicious but my favorite was the capellini granchio. The service was specular as well. Will come back again.

Yelp
Came to Il Villaggio for a celebratory gathering. The service was exceptional and our server was a delight. Our water and wine glasses never went empty and the atmosphere was marvelous. I'm hoping it was just a fluke but the butternut squash I ordered with pork belly was drier than I was expecting or hoping for. The taste was solid but the texture took away from the dish. I'm more than willing to give this place another shot.

Yelp
We went here for the first time last night and had a wonderful experience! We had a reservation for 7:30 and when we got there many people were waiting to be seated, we were seated at about 7:35. The room we were seated in was a gorgeous blue color and had a massive chandelier as well as floral baskets hanging on the walls. The decor was lovely and made a great experience. We had a very friendly server named Joe who was a delight! They give you bread and a extremely unique sun dried tomato dipping sauce to start with. This sauce was different from anything I've ever had and was very good! We also had the mussels appetizer in a pesto sauce as an appetizer. For dinner I had the gnocchi adriatico and the gnocchi was perfect - it melted in our mouth! My boyfriend had their homemade ravioli with veal, pecans, mushrooms, and a Demi-glaze sauce. This was so different from anything we have had before and was extremely yummy. He also had a margarita since they now have a liquor license that he said was good as well. We will definitely be back soon since there are so many dishes on the menu we can't wait to try!

Yelp
Very poor Italian food. Group of 11, all of our pasta was over cooked. Some entrees came out cold. Extremely expensive for mediocre food. Food tasted like it was pre cooked the day before. Save your money.

Joyce S.

Yelp
First the mandatory valet parking was a turn off then service was okay prices were ridiculous $9 for a bowl of pasta that should have come with the chicken Parm and all sides are extra god forbid they give you a veggie with you over priced meal

The ambience is great especially the bar area. Great place to watch a game. Staff is friendly and attentive. However being vegetarian, my menu options are very limited. Usually Italian restaurants have more options than most places but here not many.

Yelp
First I will say - the food was pretty good. The food is worthy of four stars but the service brings it down. We had a reservation for a while and we arrived on time and they stuck us in crammed corner. Our server was not overly friendly and tried to force and order out of us as soon as possible, then when we weren't ready that particular time, she didn't show back up for twenty-twenty five minutes. So we had to get another server to get her to take our orders. Not attentive and frankly was just rude. Food wise, don't get the friend zucchini, exceptionally bland. The sausage app is good. The pork chop was excellent as well as the Shrimp diavolo. Ultimately, most likely won't come back as a result of this experience.

Yelp
This place is an excellent place for homemade Italian food. The service is good and the accommodations are excellent. I had the chicken parm which was nicely done. The chicken is flattened and crispy and I get it with meat sauce instead of tomato sauce. It was delicious. Everyone loved their dishes and the deserts were very good as well. My favorite is those homemade hot chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. Portions are large. The chef was able to accommodate is by making chicken fettuccine Alfredo which was not on the menu but my mom wanted it. My daughter also needed to have gluten free pasta and they also made it for her. Great place! I would definitely be back!

Yelp
I arrived to the restaurant at 8 PM on a Saturday night. The waiter asked if we wanted tap water or bottled water to which I said bottled, and he still brought us tapwater. Then when asking to order appetizers, he told us we would have to put the order all together. I have never heard of this at any restaurant, and it was a lie. The food took over 30 minutes to come out to which he kept asking us do you want any more food or I could bring you more bread when all we wanted was the entrées. After getting the food, I kept being an asked over and over again if I liked the food, I felt super pressured. As my mother was eating, they kept hounding us asking us if we wanted the food to go, which made me feel again, uncomfortable, and pressured. My father asked for well done steak and it came out burnt. I asked the waiter if my Dish had any crab meat in it and he said to me, sweetie, did you want any crab meat on the side in a condescending voice. To give you background I'm Hispanic and I felt as though this waiter was being racist. I never felt so uncomfortable dining out before when my parents order dessert. They didn't even take two bites and the waiter slammed the check on the table, we asked to speak to the manager who was able to help us out, but this was the worst dining experience I've ever had. I hope they fired that waiter.

Yelp
The food was amazing! My wife and I had a great time. The server was great, the atmosphere was amazing. We will definitely be going back. Regret not taking pictures for the memories.

Yelp
Attended a sit down, catered event here and the food was outstanding. Being so far away from my "Italian home base" of NYC, I was surprised that they pulled off a nice little salad, and Chicken parm w/ capallini so well. It was really ample portions. They closed it out with a vanilla bean flan like dessert that was also pretty amazing. I'm not sure what the deal was on the booze, because my brother-in-law, brought his own, so I'm sure there was a corkage fee or something... but the food was really great!

Yelp
My family has been dining here since they opened. Always a pleasure. Food is great. The bartenders are always on point. I have seen the owners physically step in to assist their servers and bartenders as needed during a busy night. They care and it truly shows. We have never been denied substitutions & they have allowed us to take as much time as we like, which is much appreciated. Especially when you know they have large parties, a sacrifice to grant you the opportunity to have a great night with your family/friends.
