Ilario Vinciguerra Restaurant

I booked lunch with my family. I wanted to give to my elderly parents a treat at Vinciguerra restaurant, and it was worth it. We took the 8-course meal. The menu was indeed memorable. Ilario Vinciguerra himself juggles between kitchen and tables. He puts a great effort to attend the customers and he shows great care in his service. Really appreciated and highly recommended

Outstanding. The spaghetti are some of the best I have ever had, as was a cold-smoked salmon and a modern cazzoela (a cabbage dish from Lombardy). Deserves the star back!

Mr Vinciguerra is a crazy man, just look at his IM account and you'll know why. But his food is dead serious, deliciously serious. We had 2 amazing lunches her, one at the green table in the kitchen (which was REALLY crazy). The setting is mundane and modern, the service excellent. We will come back!

Such an amazing experience, the chef was so informative and engaging and the food is without doubt the best in Milan. Was a work outing with 3 colleagues and we were made to feel so welcome and the whole experience was one I will never forget l. Definitely a bucket list to do visit couldn't recommend higher.

Oh Ilario...what can I even say to do your delicious food justice? Because it is more than food...it a work of fine art prepared with passion and attentively served. A simply amazing experience from start to finish that was miles better than the Michelin star restaurant I had two days later. Easily one of the top meals I have ever had in my life. Do the tasting menu and let the chef work his magic!!

This place is so good it goes beyond expectation. Best risotto ever and the dessert was a great finish. Highly recommended

I went here for a romantic dinner with my girlfriend. I had requested the green table but somehow this request was lost so we eat on the verand instead. You can order what you like OR let the chef surprise you with a menu of 6,7, or 20 plates. We choose 8 plates. The various plates where really excellent and the service was very good. At the end 300 euro well spend.

Location food and ambiance was incredibile. I was very impressed and I go out to eat often.5 stars from me means it’s a must visit place to go and enjoy a fabulous experience !! I really enjoyed it.

This restaurant is fine dinning and very close to the Milan airport. We were extremely supersized by quality of the food and service. Great find next to airport.

Unbelievable amazing experience ! You must enjoy Ilario's cooking if you are looking for fine food and tastes beyond imagination. "Profumo", the award winning shrimp tartare is a must. And what about pasta di Gragnano with colatura di alici? Amazing again! Same for other discoveries you have to try. Happy ending with L'oro di Napoli. Timeless experience.

Very few restaurants manage to get it all right, but Ilario Vinciguerra shows that it can be done. From the moment you walk in the door, it is obvious you are in capable hands and will have an amazing evening. The decor is starkly modern, yet not uncomfortable, somewhat at odds with what you'd expect in this beautiful old villa. Cuisine is a modern take on traditional Neapolitan fare, with a slight twist of molecular gastronomy. But unlike the offerings of Thomas Keller or Ferran Adria, Ilario gives you an actual meal, and not just some simmering fluff on a pretty plate. Service is attentive, and they are happy to walk you through the menu and wine list. Particularly impressive is their wine list, with an eclectic range suitable for any budget. (Some real finds here if you have the wallet for it.) We tried several items from the menu, all delicious. The foie gras torchon and steak tartare were amazing starters, and the main courses of suckling pig and braised veal cheek were both fantastic. In between all this decadent good eating, little surprises will come to the table from the kitchen. Be prepared to leave very full, and very happy. Definitely makes the list of my Top 10 restaurants in the world.
