THE best spot for community events, it also functions as a gallery for local artists. Also a cork recycling drop off box, so convenient.

The best Mezcal brand and business! Not only is it delicious, balanced and beautifully packaged, but created by a team focused on sustainability, community impact and equity. They have some of the coolest partnerships and events in the city, and the staff is kind, welcoming and helpful. Definitely worth stopping in for a tasting or event and to pick up some merch. And don't forget to ask about the notorious origin story :)

My new favorite mezcal brand! It’s become a staple in my home. The staff was super welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable during my tasting. I even stocked up on some merch while I was there. A must visit if you’re ever in the area

While just the headquarters, the space for Ilegal Mezcal is warm, vibrant and very versatile. The brilliant minds behind the project use the space adjacent to any passers-by, creating a friendly pit stop for any visitor, local or out-of-towner. Plus, the mezcal is delicious!

If you're looking for some super duper central Mexican food then, you know, you should go here. Attentive staff. Good looking people. Quality and care.

This place is never open! I've walked by a dozen of times in the last few months, on weekdays and weekends, and it is always closed. Always wanted to check it out inside, but have no idea how to do it. Their website is also silent on how to do it.

Wasn't impressed by this Mezcal.... I would rather a spend my money on Siete Leguas or just about anything. In that case, I look under the facade of the location at the real product. I will not buy again.
