What should I really say.... I mean the technical realization is fricking awesome. I was in awe about the documentary all around me, you could almost feel it. But the two "documentaries" felt lacking something. I know its also for children but come on, Rock music and almost everything is mentioned but no word of drugs. Probably the most consistent thing besides the music were the drugs and not the cars. I understand the decision but it felt kinda off. This was target at the show called "Amplified".

Took my twins to see the light Brite and space shows today and had a great time. For the price it was well worth it. The interactive games kids could play on the floor was a really good addition.. along with the amazing visual experience will definitely be returning.. thank you

This was a really cute experience. The pixel art show was more interactive than the space show. If you have kids they should like the pixel show since you can send your art to the wall via your phone. This happens at different points in the show. At these breaks in the show there are some games that can be played as groups. The space show was more relaxed and was more a visual experience with foot prints left on the floor as you walk around being the most interactive part of the show.

I was there for a private event - the walls had video effects - but it’s a basic big room with bar and some arty chairs . What happened on out event however is that we paid for full bar and food and the host, who contracted Area 15 for the event had the invoice with open bar and food and somehow the Illuminarium missed the memo so we got no drinks at all and few Swedish sized meatballs were passed - not all guests got them, some didn’t even know there was a Swedish meatball passed in trial size plastic cup. So who blames who idk but we didn’t get out money’s worth . They could have at least passed some water - long event

I originally thought my trip to the Illuminarium at Area 15 was going to be about THE Rolling Stones…like the group, right? No, it’s Rolling Stone Magazine and featured all my favorite artists and MORE. It is the epitome of an immersive experience that appealed to sight, sound, touch…it used all available space including the walls and floors to transcend attendees through time and evoke the intended feeling. Highly recommend!

Interesting space and presentation format. We saw Amplified. The 360 degree presentation is interesting but can get tedious if you're no sitting near a corner with a good view of a larger wall. Tip: because of the projecters, the room is cold. Bring long sleeves.

I checked out Amplified at Illuminarium this past weekend while in Vegas - and absolutely loved it! Such a cool immersive experience for any music lover. The Rolling Stone archival footage was pretty incredible. Such unique photographs of so many legends I've never seen before, all up in your face! The visuals and the sound had me totally immersed in music heaven for an hour. And the Illuminarium venue was awesome. Very cool space with comfy white couches. Felt like I was in a Stanley Kubrick film. All in all, 10/10. Don't walk, run over to this show while it's there. Hoping to see it again soon!! Great job Illuminarium x Rolling Stone! :)

Illuminarium is located in Area 15 that is in a large entertainment area that is close to the Las Vegas Strip. We came for the show called Amplified. It was a music show featuring music that made it to Rolling Stone Magazine. They offered a general admission price and a V.I.P. price that included tokens for that show. I don't believe any other discounts were available. Before the show you wait in the lobby that is partially a museum of musical memorabilia. Then you wait briefly in a waiting room. We entered and all kinds of pictures and colors were moving around the room quickly. It was dizzying but with good sounds. You have to decide on where to sit. I think near the ends you can see the most. So much goes on so quickly it is almost an overload but is still amazing. So much goes on that you can never be board. The room just comes alive all over. Maybe my biggest complaint is that the show is overly high paced. It just blows by a bit too fast. My other minor complaints are went I saw all the radio dials I thought the obvious song to hear was 'Radio Radio" by Elvis Costello.........or at least "Radio Ga Ga" by Queen.... Same thing with the ending song. At the end they were showing people who made it to the covers of Rolling Stone Magazine and they played the song Fame. I am a big fan of that song but a more perfect choice was that song - "Cover Of The Rolling Stone" by Dr Hook. Maybe not perfect and maybe expensive for what it is but still a good time. Parking is close.

"We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard." Space, at the Illuminarium is an out-of-this-world 360 immersive experience, where you travel on a journey across the galaxy. After hearing President Kennedy's 1962 speech, you experience liftoff to the moon, travel past the planets, and marvel at the discoveries of the James Webb telescope. It's timed with music like "Fly Me to the Moon," and other lyrical offerings, which can be a bit ponderous and slow. You can leave footprints on the moon, crush asteroids and other interactions on the floor. There are moon-type cushions throughout and the projections are 360 degrees. There's information projected on the walls, though the type is small and doesn't stay long enough onscreen to read all of the details, particularly about the James Webb telescope. Young children can still enjoy the experience even if they can't read, although as I said, there are times when they could have edited some of this to move it along. The pictures of the nebulas are incredible. The ticket is teamed with a showing of "Lite Brite." There's a small cafe and gift shop as well.

We have been pretty disappointed the last 2 Sundays we tried to see Amplified here. My recommendation is that you call and make sure the show you want to see is playing before headed over (shame on us that we did not). Mother's day they decided to run Wild and weren't showing Amplified so we struck out, and this Sunday apparently they were alternating Space and Amplified every other hour so we struck out again since we didn't have time to wait until the next showing of Amplified. We decided seeing this show isn't in our cards so are giving up.

OVERVIEW: Took my 11 year old daughter here on a whim to try something different in town. The building for the Illuminarium shares a parking lot with Area 15, but is its own building across a small street - they are not physically connected. Parking was kind of tight because it shares the lot, but we found a decent amount of parking further from the Area 15 entrance and closer to the Illuminarium entrance. SERVICE: Because we are local, we took advantage of the local discount by purchasing tickets at their main box office (front counter). How it works is that you get both features - for us it was "Lite Bright" and "Space." They are about an hour each, and alternating times so you can catch both, one after the other. For us we did Lite Brite at 6pm and Space at 7pm. You wait in line and someone scans your tickets, they give a small safety/rules briefing, and then walk you to the room. THE EXPERIENCE: When you walk in, there are already "waiting" projections. There was decent seating within the large "projection room," though there were definitely still people standing, unsure if by choice. When it started, it was pretty cool - you are surrounded by images on every side, including the floor. For example, there was an underwater portion, and if you got up and walked around, there would be a bubble trail behind you - very cool. I really enjoyed that in the Space one, it felt like you were on the surface of the moon, and you'd see astronaut boot prints trailing behind you as you walked around. My daughter really enjoyed the Lite Brite show, which made the room look like a giant lite brite (with colored dots making the images), so it wasn't the high resolution imagery I was expecting, but that came into play with Space. There were little mini games during Lite Brite, but scoring was temperamental and the rules weren't clear for some games. We enjoyed Lite Brite, and thought we had to leave the room to line up for Space, but it turned out we just ended up walking back to the same room - unsure if that's the same for every show. Space started out pretty cool, with a moon landing scene. I loved that they had actual moon landing footage in a 'picture-in-picture' type of scene, with facts on the screens as well. However, by this point, we'd just done an hour show, and we were getting a bit bored/tired/hungry to finish sitting through Space, so we left early to eat. RECOMMENDATION: If you can get this at a discount and you have young children, I'd definitely recommend it. The young ones there really enjoyed this, or Lite Brite at least. Though we didn't finish Space, the graphics were visually stunning and it did make you feel like you were walking around on the surface of the moon, looking at the moon's mountains/skylines on the horizon. High quality projections and audio throughout for sure. It will take about 2 hours, I did find myself getting bored/tired towards the tail end of our 75 minutes there, but again, I was very thankful there were seats available to just relax and immerse yourself in the show.

I'm not sure what it is about these kinds of places, but I feel like they've sprung up everywhere. Granted, this location is in a special entertainment zone (Area15) and they make good use of the space. Plus the cleanest bathrooms I have seen!! Skip the ones at Area15 and go here lmao. If you have the big activity pass, then this is worth a trip. If you don't, I'm not sure it's worth paying separately just to go here. It's a room with things projected onto it. It's basically a movie that you're watching. We caught the space one and it was enjoyable. Some of the screens were a little blurry but we just moved to the other side. The restaurant on-site was closed but the gift shop was open if you wanted an expensive souvenir.

Discovered Illuminarium as one of the many LV attractions included the Go City pass. Conveniently located beside Area 15 with free parking. This year, patrons are able to see both cinematic immersive shows: Space and Lite Brite. Both were well produced, Lite Brite was very colorful and interactive. Since we came on New Year's Eve, there was a bonus attraction in a separate room that showed New Year's celebrations from other countries at the top of the hour (we saw Abu Dhabi and Kenya). There were other activities such as bracelet making, face painting, 360 video with New Year props. The staff are very friendly. Overall, It's a nice attraction to see for the first time, after that, unless it's a brand new show, younger kids would most likely enjoy it more for an encore visit.

I've been to all their experiences and love it. It's like sitting in a 360 tv but with floor interactivity, and incredible sound. The yoga is a new favorite of mine. The instructors are from local studios and it's always a great time.

For my first visit, I purchased the Dual Pass for the Space and Lite-Brite shows. I was really impressed with the Space show. It provided a nice history lesson on flights to the moon, satellites, and astronomy. The quality of the graphics and sounds were very good. I like how footsteps or stellar effects are projected onto the ground near your feet as you walk around. I stayed for the entire one-hour show. Space sets a cinematic bar that makes it hard afterward to watch the lower resolution graphics of Lite-Brite, with its limited array of colors. I stayed 15 minutes into the show, which was plenty for me. It's definitely geared toward families with children, which was most of the audience. Amplified, by Rolling Stone, is a show that I'd be interested in seeing next.

This experience was pretty interesting but honestly if it wasn't included in the Area 15 pass, I probably wouldn't have paid for it. We wound up doing the animal experience which was a showing of a bunch of different animals across the walls. It's was pretty immersive, the screens were huge and there were some smells associated with the movies. It was cute and pretty cool for the first few screens but we didn't stay for the full experience. It dragged on a little bit. I think it could be shorter for sure.

We went for Mothers Day Brunch. Brunch could have been far better than it was as far as seating, setup and one single bartender for at least 80 people. The flower show and music during the food were a nice touch. The safari show after was alright - not much wow to it and we moved several times to find a good place to see most of the show at once. I probably would not do this again but I am glad I experienced once.

Illuminarium definitely looked appealing and sounds really cool but honestly, if I didn't have free tickets, I would not want to pay for this. The staff is really nice and there's your usual gift shop. When it was showtime, you get in line and enter this room. I did the Space show and the intro was pretty neat. Wall to wall projections and the couch was comfy. Then you go into this other big room where you can free roam. There are parts of the show that's interactive, like the asteroid belt. The entire show was about 30mins. I understand the huge production value behind it and the value of the show but it just felt kind of bland. I'm not sure how it could improve but it doesn't draw me back for another visit.

Out of all the exhibitions in Area 15, I think this was the best one to go to. I assumed that it would be just like any other planeterium I've been to. You sit down, watch something on the ceiling for 30 minutes then you're out. But boy, I was entirely wrong about the experience. You sit down and a staff explains to you what will happen then you go another room to fully immerse yourself in everything about space. It was interactive and also got so many cool looking pictures. Definitely would love to come back when the zoo exhibition is on!

Husband is obsessed with outer space. This place is amazing. He loved all the images and videos. The show was about a bit over an hour. We saw the lite Brite show as well, however, I believe one show is more than enough for a day. Something different to do while in Vegas.

We never figured out why the employees were dressed as Star Wars characters when it was a space show with moon landings, rocket launchings, and planets but it was still cool. We had a lot of fun, but it took a minute to fully understand how the attraction "works". I suggest fully opening your mind to enjoy the sensory & interactive experience. I definitely would recommend going, as part of your Meow Wolf/Area 15 adventure.

No Love for After Dark: Love on Top (V-day 2025): Not worth it! It's very deceiving and incredibly underwhelming. This event was located in a smaller building across from Area 51. It was basically a single room with projections on the walls. There was no kind of Valentine's decoration whatsoever and a total of like 10 people just hanging out awkwardly. Lol. We are here visiting some local friends and thought this would be a cute way to experience some visual art. Our friends got in before us and FaceTimed us like, "what is this??" I was like, I had no clue what to expect. I had tried researching online as many reviews and photos to see if it was worth it but couldn't find much. Now I know why. But I still wanted to give it a chance. Our friends have been to Area 51 and said that is a way better experience. Anyhow, we didn't stay long. **Shout to the DJ, though

The illuminarium Winter Wonderland Spectacular at Area 15, is a nice outing for the entire family and especially those with small children. Guests are guided into a large warehouse type room highlighted in bright colors with large visual screens displaying patterns which, our synchronized to music. There is ample seating throughout to accommodate large groups and those with limited mobility issues. The entire show last about 30 minutes. Although, the visual spectacle was eye catching my overall impressions of the entire show was that it seemed a little repetitive, slow and a bit boring. The good news is locals receive a $10.00 discount on admission. Also, every guest is given a token for a free cup of hot chocolate which, can be obtained upon entering the venue.

I decided to write this review so others have proper expectation for the sports at the Illuminarium experience. I will say that the idea of this concept is cool, but the execution was greatly lacking. There are literally hundreds of places in this town to watch a game so you'd think they'd consider that in setting up this. The whole thing is a just mess. Check-in was smooth and friendly and the manager offered us a sneak peek at the venue. It looked really awesome, but way smaller than we expected. Several pouf chairs and several bar height tables with about 60 seats total. The mgr told us the cafe was open and we could wait there for the doors to open. The cafe staff told us they weren't opening for another 30 mins but we could sit there and wait. Previous reviews had mentioned the food options in the venue, including a buffet style setup. Not only was that not the case on this day, but they were also telling people at check in that no food is allowed in the venue. We and many others had not eaten and we expected there to be food available since we were there and possibly drinking for 3 hours. Another lady was told by the cafe that they may not even open due to the chef not calling out, so we were basically they with no access to food. At that point several of us asked for a refund. The manager, Jazz, who was amazing did some maneuvering and told us that food would be offered and delivered over from the kitchen. We all decided to stay at this point. We found seating to be really terrible for watching a game. The pouf chairs were too close to the screens and the tall tops were uncomfortable with plastic barstools. We decided not to order food, but what we saw appeared to be one of the biggest rip offs we've seen. The price of $14-$19 for less than a full handful of fries and 3 chicken fingers, teeny tiny wings, etc. were not in line with other places on and off the strip. Upon check-in we were told the drink that came with our ticket was any drink alcoholic or non-alcoholic. It wound up being only well Liquor with no Red Bull allowed as the mixer. No big deal, but there was no real clarity on what the drink ticket covered. The bar was setup much like one you'd see at a bad wedding venue but was very limited. We stayed until half time and decided to go elsewhere because it was just not that enjoyable. I hope if you choose to go, your experience is better than ours. Maybe the issues they dealt with will help them improve.

Lite Brite was too crowded and Kind of boring for the cost. Ok for kids but not impressive for anyone who has been to meow wolf or enchante. It's more for kids than adults. After 30 min it started over and the exhibit was like an hour long. It would have been nice to continue the story line from the intro into the room.

The lights were so mesmerizing that I lost track of time and space - literally! I think I accidentally stumbled into a wormhole while trying to take a selfie with a asteroid (jk). All in all, it's the kind of art exhibit that makes you question the universe and your sanity, but in the best way possible. The kids had fun finding their birth signs, stepping on the asteroids and exploding them on the floor. It was an amusing little get away, even if it was only for a couple hours.

The night we visited (Aug. 26, 2023), it was Beyonce night! We were in town to see her on the Renaissance World Tour anyway, so we were ecstatic to discover that they changed the night's theme to Beyonce. We purchased our tickets online in advance. The building is so captivating with its celestial-themed lighting. We made our way through the safari room which had rooms with wall and floor junglelike moving images. The adjacent larger room had trippy optical illusions along the walls and floor, a bar, and a DJ playing exclusively Beyonce songs. I loooved the song mixes and transitions and couldn't stop dancing. It was such a dope vibe because everyone there was a Beyonce fan, so I had fun dancing with the other stans. The bar had Beyonce-themed drinks (cocktails and mocktails). The tickets I purchased included one drink per ticket, so I ordered a Cozy Blue Mule (infused vodka, cold-pressed lemon juice, agave, and ginger beer). *Chef's kiss* There was ample seating and a few high tables throughout the rooms which would certainly come in handy for the nights they don't have a DJ and you just wanna chill out. It reminds me of Artechouse but with a far less interactive element.

Personally, I have never been here, however, my cheating boyfriend has with his mistress. Clearly, he is more than willing to spend entry fees and shopping with her than his own family. From the looks of it. They have had an amazing time here and they have so many photographs and so many fun memories when me and him don't have as much as one picture together, but no the mistress, he just met, is more than welcome to have all of the memories, all of the photographs, all of the time with his kid, but beyond the pet is beyond the anger. Beyond everything. This PLACE genuinely looks fine. I just personally could never walk into it because of that. And to make matters worse, she knew about me, and she still pursued him, and he allowed it, so it's both of them, but I recommend this PLACE. It genuinely looks beautiful. 10 out of 10.

Space After Dark is a nightlife arts and attraction for 21+. They're located inside Illuminarium Las Vegas and is open everyday from 8pm to 12am. General admission is $35. They offer local discount which is $10 off, and there is an option to add a signature cocktail drink. The staff members are very kind and courteous, especially Jocelyn and Damien, they're so welcoming and friendly. The attraction has two rooms, the first room is more like a lounge and the second room is the immersive experience. Space After Dark is a projection of outer space and planets. There are seatings available but it's more engaging to walk around the space and do creative photo ops. The projections look awesome, however it would be nice if the ceiling was covered to make the experience fully immersive. Background music is ethereal. There's audio commentary, snippets of rocket launch, and astronauts on the moon. Comets and asteroids are reflected on the floor. The floor projections are interactive and if you step on an asteroid, it will break apart which looks so cool!

Too expensive, boring, not a tea interaction. You need to add more fun games. It was disappointing.

I was disappointed. Pretty walls, music in a separate room but there was hardly anyone there beside the pretty cool dj. The 2nd room has a bar but not much was going on as the music was loud. It was like Beethoven or Mozart type of music so if you want to just chill or meditate this would be the place. I recommend they turn this into a yoga or meditation room lol I had high hope knowing how fun and cool the rest of Area15 are. There was no place to buy food or snacks and my ticket was a VIP that came with 1 drink and the cup was small. 12 or 16 ounce I think. No one was dancing. I just walked around the entire place several times taking photos and videos. There was zero activities. No performers, no moving objects, nothing. My recommendation would be to have more things to buy, food, snacks, fruit cups, candies, etc... Well at least I can say, "be been there, done that" lol Hope you enjoy my videos and selfies

Eh - I was pretty disappointed. I bought my tickets during a Black Friday sale and if I paid full price for them, I would have been really upset. Even with the sale, I didn't really think it was worth it. We came for the Christmas Winter Wonderland. When you walk in, there are chairs to sit and the kids to color and write a letter to Santa. Ok. Then you walk into another bigger room and there was a line for the hot chocolate. The ticket includes hot chocolate and it was ok. It was a big room with light projections and music. That's it. That's pretty much it. We sat and danced. Many kids were like "this is it?!" We walked out after 30 min later and took a pic with Santa. Yup, that's it folks.

If you've done the Van Gough experience and liked it, you'll love the Illuminarium! The theme of this show is outer space. At some points, it feels like you're really out there floating among the stars. After hours, this place becomes a 21+ lounge.

I was pretty disappointed in Illuminarium. We came here on Friday night and it was just a big room with multiple projector screens that plays the same 4 slides repeatedly. Not much to see and a waste of money.

The safari theme show is the worst option. Money wasted no effort with production overall just garbage and endless moments of disappointment. I rarely write reviews or even bad experience but hands down would never recommend. stay away from the safari show. It can barely keep a child engaged or entertained. As for an adult I don't know how many or what kind of substance you would need to actually enjoy this event

Fun times until my entry was questioned by a staff member. I came to Vegas with my partner for our one year wedding anniversary. We were excited to find something to do off the strip, and decided to check out the Illuminarium. The front desk staff and opening host were super friendly and helpful. The entire experience takes place in two different rooms and has a lot of beautiful visuals. My lower rating is because towards the end of the experience, after taking countless pictures for about 15-20 minutes, a staff member who was in the room, walked up to us in a crowd asking to see our tickets. I was surprised because we had been there the entire time and she stated she wanted to make sure we didn't sneak through the gift shop to enter. I then asked why we were the only ones being asked to prove this since it was a crowded room. We showed her our tickets but she made me feel uncomfortable and singled out so we left. The manager did offer a discount to the cafe.

Went to illuminarium as part of the package access with Area 15 tickets. So glad we did, this place is amazing There is a little cafe where you can purchase some simple dishes to eat and drinks. Then at your scheduled enter time, you will be going through the game room first, then head into the illuminarium space. We had a blast, very immersive experience. It felt peaceful, grand, exciting and magical throughout the experience! Worth the $$, highly recommend.

I recently visited the Illuminarium Las Vegas and overall, I thought it was a neat experience. As a local, I appreciated a discounted rate. The first room had interactive elements that were fun. You enter into a slightly smaller room that's still pretty large that has bean bag chairs. You are expected to wait for the instructor in that room. When the guide/instructor comes in they start with a presentation regarding the brief history of SPACE and what you're going to experience. In the first room at one point you felt like you were in a rocket taking off. Being able to see space all around you, the controls of the ship, etc it was exciting. This experience can pose challenges to people with sensory issues, but they do offer a sensory bag before you enter. I personally had a challenging time with the asteroid display in the second room because the projections of the asteroid belt moved rather quickly throwing off my equilibrium. There were other parts of the room that I walked over to that were not that intense, so it's not the entire room that has that type of display. After the first room, we were let into a second larger room. This is where we saw different zodiacs, planets, and the landing on the moon. The floor is responsive and you're able to step on asteroids to crack them and once you get to the moon you are able to leave footprints that disappear after a few steps. The footprints are responsive to light so my shadow from my body actually created footsteps instead of my feet in certain areas. As you can see from the managers response to my review how intricate this art display really is. But as face value from a customer standpoint who doesn't understand the logistics of how incredible the technology is I found that I was bored pretty quickly. I would have appreciated more guidance or explanations throughout the experience. As you can see from the owner's response the staff is intended to be available for any questions you may have and it's a self-guided experience. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, but in my opinion I felt like there needed to be more. The best way to think about this experience is an immersive art display that you're supposed to walk up and read about each thing being displayed. If you're thinking about it in that aspect then I wouldn't change a thing. I did notice the smell he is referring to that was pumped into the room. For the SPACE experience it smelled like Vicks vapor rub. I can imagine that it's more complicated than Vick's vapor rub, but in my groups opinion that is what it smelled like. Overall, while Illuminarium was a neat concept, it wasn't something that I would imagine returning to do necessarily unless they had other exhibits or parties. Based off of what I know is that they do have other exhibits and do feature sports nights, so if SPACE isn't something that excites you watch for their other events. Also, If you do not enjoy having kids run around you they have a 21 and up day / time. If you're interested in a unique visual display and enjoy an immersive experience, it could be worth checking out. Just keep in mind that it may not be suitable for those with sensory issues due to the large crowds and immersive nature of the display. -- I would love to see this incorporated with an immersive dining experience. I think that there's an opportunity to make it feel like you're in a place such as Japan where you can enjoy Japanese cuisine. That might be a fun pop-up idea! They definitely have the display to make it feel like you're in a Japanese night market, so if they're able to collaborate with someone there could be an incredible opportunity to take advantage of.

This is a very cool exhibit! I had been wanting to come for a long time and finally got a chance to visit. We chose to see Wild because I love animals and it's my dream to one day go on an African safari. We got the VIP passes so we could go any time of the day since we weren't sure what our schedule would be. It comes with $10 each to use at the gift shop or Cafe. We got there with time to get a drink so we stopped in the cafe and ordered a beer and water. When we checked out, we were informed that although we had $20 to use at the cafe from our VIP tickets, and our order was only $14, we could only use them for one transaction and not be able to use the $6 later. The person checking is out did not ask if we wanted to add anything else to the order, I was disappointed about this. The exhibit was amazing, I love that when the animals are walking around you can feel it in the floor, and they even add a scent to the air that is reminiscent of the plants in the African plains. It feels very immersive. The videos rotate through a number of different scenes, from a sunset to a thunderstorm and through different areas of Africa. I loved that they displayed text with facts about the animals. It was informative and not distracting. It takes 45 minutes to get through all of the videos before it repeats. The seating is comfortable and the exhibit did not feel crowded at all. We had a great time and I would love to come back to see the space exhibit as well.

The Illuminarium is really a cool place that misses the mark if you're looking to be more educated. Starting with the good, it's a cool looking building inside and out. The staff appeared to be very excited to perform their roles and responsibilities. We had a start time at 11am for one of the space exhibits and they take however many they can into the launch room to sit in cozy chairs, with wall to wall screens (the ceiling has tons of technology), where an enthusiastic worker prepares you for your journey. This felt like the ultimate tease where there was education offered, and you felt the immersive nature we thought we were promised. After the short intro the have you go into a larger room and you're on your own... This is where we felt lost. It was a beautiful room, with great visuals and a semi-interactive floor with a very delayed response. You can't touch the walls though. And basically you are left there for 45 min (you can leave at any time) to watch the visuals very slowly change. There is semi relevant music playing, some audio and very minimal information about space and the moon launch were offered. There is no more cool space guide, just chaperones to make sure no one breaks anything. I think as 2 adults we realized this was an elementary school field trip during the day and they try to bring in the adults to drink at night, with their 21+ events. For 2 adults who were seeking a greater educational experience we dropped the ball on not reading more reviews about what we were walking into. We also just grabbed standard tickets so there may have been more to offer at higher price points. All in all if you're a parent with a young child or a school looking to introduce kids to some things, it's a great place. The kids appeared to be having a blast. I would be curious about teenagers as they may get bored quickly without more to engage with. I encourage you to dig deeper if interested and if you go... Enjoy!!

My husband and I came here for a date night and did the space experience. The process of getting into the venue was smooth and good with timing. We were amazed in the beginning because of the history that was presented to us and very fascinated with the whole room being lit with clouds, light, and space! It was like we were there! We then entered another room where it was all lit with space features like planets, asteroids, stars etc. it was all 3D! It was pretty cool! I did have high expectations when coming here. I feel like if there was more than those two rooms we entered it would have been better. The staff were all friendly and it was a great date for the both of us!

Don't waste your time or money! This was an incredibly disappointing experience and huge waste of both money and time. If you're looking for a truly immersive experience go see Omega Mart in Area15. First, I missed my time slot by A LOT so they moved to the next one. That's totally reasonable. I'm with my 15 month old so I figure we'll stop at the cafe and get him a snack. I didn't realize that you had to be exactly on time otherwise you can't go in. The cafe took forever making a GRILLED CHEESE. So I'm like 10 min late, the girl tells me I'll have to wait til the next show again in 15 min. I asked if I could just go in knowing that I would miss some of it, she said no bc people go in groups and bc there is a guided intro. I decide to wait since I'm already there but am surprised bc it can't be that like riveting or important to the experience. The guided intro is TWO MINUTES. So stupid to be forced to wait! So then I'm in the actual experience and there's trash tickets and cups everywhere with the attendants just standing around. My 15 month old grabs someone's trash water bottle and starts throwing it around and I don't see any trash cans around so I give it to the attendant who tried to tell me where the trash can is. Like really? I'm trying to help you out. Clean this place up. She sure didn't have a problem SPRINTING to the exit when I opened the wrong door. Like wtf? My child was crying and I just wanted to leave. We ended up leaving early bc this thing was just way too long and repetitive. I cannot believe they made it seem like allowing me to go in late was going to be a huge distraction to this self-important experience that is literally just a projector on walls. I will literally never go back.

We were hanging out near Area 15 and decided to check this spot out. The current exhibit was space-themed. There was no line when we got there, and we waited about 5 minutes to enter. We then spent about 45 minutes enjoying the exhibit. I liked seeing all the space visuals as well as the history tidbits throughout the exhibit. I actually learned a lot about the journey to space and our solar system. Would I go again? Probably not. Thought it was a fun way to kill some time, I wouldn't say it was the most novel experience. The audio/visual quality was just okay, so it didn't feel particularly immersive. Some of the responsive "interactions" were a bit laggy or not properly calibrated. I didn't really notice any unique smells either (though the entire place itself just smelled kind of nice). If there was a new theme, I'd consider going, but just not at the current ticket price - closer to $15 would feel reasonable to me.

I was a bit disappointed coming here. The first room I sat in for the spaceship blastoff, the light above was shining right into my eyes so I couldn't really enjoy the whole effect. Had there been some extra seating, I would have moved but since all the seats were taken, I was stuck where I was at. The space room was ok. The security people were standing around the room watching us make me feel like I couldn't enjoy myself freely. I get it, some people don't follow rules and touch the walls, and that's probably why Illuminarium has to have people watching the guests, but I felt it was over done and was a turn off. Wish the screens covered the ceiling also. The lights shining down to the walls was kinda a distraction. All I can see at the top was lights and black ceiling. The music was way too loud. Gave me a headache after watching the entire 45 minute segment.

Very nice and educational show of space and first space flights. The setup was cute because you sorta feel like you're in a spaceship with a crew lol. The effects used were pretty good and it kept your attention. Definitely a go to at least once. Short line when we went, nice gift shop a cafe and very clean restrooms.

Attended a security conference here. The place is a bit out of the way in area 15, about a 10 min drive from the strip. They did the space theme for us during the security conference and we had a good time attending. This place is good for smaller conferences but also for families. Also the food was good and the place was clean with good service (although they definitely need some more bathrooms).

I honestly expected much more. You come into one room a man talks and tells you about space then you walk into another room and it's just projector pictures all over the walls and floors I almost walked out the exit door ,because I thought it was another door to the good stuff but NOPE! That was it. Paid about $120 for all 4 of us 2 kids and 2 adults. My kids were bored just spinning around to the music so we left like 10 mins in to go ride the ride outside. Also this lady goes around making sure you don't touch the walls so yah won't be returning
