Found another hidden gem or maybe not as hidden as evident by the hordes of people waiting to get in, then again I went on a Saturday night, my bad.
Pro tip, put yourself on their Internet waitlist via phone at least 30mins before your plan arrival.
Ordered New Orleans chicken wing/legs as appetizer, crispy and moist, pieces are small but tasty
Shiso spicy clams were really not spicy but accompanied sauce paired well with the clams
Fried egg with special vinegar was interesting. Basically scrambled eggs in a mild vinegary sauce.
The Chinese broccoli (Gai lan) was cooked well but not worth $16 IMAO.
We went with the Singaporean style crab instead of the Curry style crab. Also went with the medium spice level, wasn't spicy enough, next time, we'll throw caution to the wind and go with the high spice level.
Whoever is cooking their crabs deserves a gold medal, no participation medal please, crab was cooked perfectly moist, the Singaporean sauce was amazing, I could have drank it by the cupfuls but I'm not a savage, I need to self reflect, maybe I am.
Btw, they give you cute little paper aprons, eating crabs can get messy
Not a large place so tables are crammed tighter than a Canadian geeses butt.
Service staff were very helpful in explaining some of the menu items and crab selections.
To top off all of these wonderful flavorful dishes, you get free vanilla soft serve ice cream cones for dessert at the end.
If you like crab, if not (shame on you), many other seafood dishes on menu, worth the trip to Scarborough, plenty of parking
