My kids are 2.5 & 1 yr old - they had a blast for about 2 hours here, and easily could have stayed longer until they passed out from exhaustion. On a hot Saturday, I was pleasantly surprised that the museum was pretty much empty - we got there around 11am, and people didnt start to come until after 12pm. A plus about this facility is that it's large - there's plenty of room for little ones to run around and play without families bumping into one another. The con is that there are only a few stations. I noticed there's a mechanic shop area with kids can "work" on a car - this was the most popular station & most enjoyable for both my kids; my 2.5 yr old enjoyed painting on the "walls" and my 1yr old enjoyed the closed off area just for her age. In this area, there's a small quiet corner that closed off for nursing! I was quite impressed with that. The outside exhibit could have used a bit more thought - there's an area to "fish" that's so small, there were 4 kids out there and there was no room for my toddler. Also, there aren't enough footstools for toddlers to look into the water to see the fish. it probably wasnt made for his age anyway, but noted. The facilities are spotless, and the staff was pleasant & full of info. One staff member came up to me to let me know general info & just to greet me, which is nice. There's a small area to sit and buy snacks & drinks (& it's small selection). Also there are two rooms reserved for parties. Overall, we loved our experience here & will be back!
