Imakay

"This restaurant stands out with its young, relaxed atmosphere and Japanese-focused cuisine. The urban-contemporary décor features colourful graffiti on some walls and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. To further enjoy the experience, discover the set menus on offer at the bar in the back, where you can watch the chefs at work as they interact with guests. Presentations are highly original, especially the scallop coral dish." - Michelin Inspector

Fantastic omakase experience. A bit expensive, but worth the money. The cocktails were delicious and every dish we tried was full of flavour.

AMAZING FOOD !! Japanese but it has some peruvian touch! The space is REALLY BEAUTIFUL! The food is very authentic with some very exquisite dishes, like the octopus “sonho”. Fair price

Everyone should have the opportunity to seat at the counter and be served by Vinicius Pontes. We had a great talk Nighy and a truly class on sushi and Japanese food. The tuna carpaccio you will only experience there! Sushi and sashimi were slightly different from others we have had in sao paulo and the experience was great! We will definitely become usual. Congrats a the counter staff 👏

Great restaurant, very attentive staff, and delicious food. Presentation great. I was saldo not looking to the chef, but it took a while to get our plates done, and the restaurant was not full.

Fusion Japanese food, some of the dishes work, some don’t. Generally the dishes are prettier than they taste. Over-rated …

I went a few times there, the crew is awesome and the waiters as very friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and it is evident that the chef invites the crew to be creative. There are great options for drinks, simple or complex, but I missed more options of sake. We had the 15 course experience menu three different times, and the first two were amazing. The third one was rather disappointing because they removed the bluefin tuna in favor of local tuna (saying that it was the same, but I disagree) and also the wagyu sushi was surprisingly bad (hard meat difficulty to swallow). On the other hand, the octopus "sonho" was amazing as always. The bancha cheesecake could be more complex but it was great to see the desert included in the menu. If you are looking for traditional Japanese food, with creative mix of flavors, this is the place.

Amazing! Best quality of fish I had in Brazil. The touch of Peruvian seasoning is incredible. I wish I could have tasted more plates. Great service and quality. Definently worth a visit.

Very disappointed. Ceviche: Average taste. Small portion (R$36) Udon Curry verde: Worst udon ever. Expensive (R$74) Polvo : Served ONLY one single leg of octopus with veggie. (R$ 82) Pineapple Juice: Watery taste. There's more water in the Juice. * Paid R$100 per person. I came back home hungry.

Yelp
Stopped in unexpectedly as I'm visiting SP and honestly just wanted a drink. After some excellent cocktails where it is obvious the bartenders care for their craft, I took back to the hotel room some excellent sushi. Before leaving SP, or absolutely on my next visit, I will come back to enjoy a proper meal as everyone I spoke with was kind, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was very nice.
