Shrimp pad thai comes wrapped in an omelette which is exciting! Favourite pad thai in the city. Also good green curry

Good spot! We have been here a few times, and it’s always pretty good. I find that grabbing a table is always possible - which is nice. Service is always helpful. While some dishes are excellent - some aren’t seasoned as well we would like. There are a ton of incredible Thai food spots in the city, and this is a great option but not our favourite! Nonetheless a reliable spot!

I visited a small, cozy Thai restaurant yesterday just after the lunch rush. Although it was a bit past peak hours, there was a large group of over 10 people, which made the atmosphere quite noisy and a bit chaotic. We ordered the Famous Pad Thai, Red Curry, and Chili Chicken. As mentioned in other reviews, the presentation was nice. However, having tried many Thai restaurants, I found the actual taste of the dishes to be quite average. There are other places with better flavors at more affordable prices.

Google
A cute little place. As we came in the server asked us if we had a reservation when the restaurant was empty and was empty throughout our dining time - so that seemed very odd! Found the service slow and lacking in many ways as every time I needed their attention I had to ask and ask for basics like refill of water and our bill. Presentation of the pad Thai was brilliant and taste was good too. Malay curry was ok and the coconut rice was ok imho. The appetizer we ordered of fried fish was really fresh and piping hot but wish they had a better sauce to go with it. The take outs in the restaurant is just unbelievable so if you are dining near the door it's annoying. There is parking right beside at the back if you are lucky to get a space as it's not very big.

IMM Thai Kitchen = instant mood boost. The food was very good (in both spice and flavor), and the service was smooth and friendly. It’s the kind of place where you start planning your next visit halfway through your meal. Highly recommend if you’re into Thai food that actually slaps.

Tucked into the vibrant streets of Toronto’s Little Italy, Imm Thai Kitchen feels like a warm hug from home (if home served some of the best Thai food in the city). From the cozy ambiance to the familiar, comforting dishes, this spot instantly wraps you in its charm and transports you straight to Thailand. We started with Thai Spring Rolls: hot, crispy, and golden, paired with a sweet chili dip that had just the right kick. The Crispy Fish stole our hearts: flaky, tender, and topped with a zesty sauce that brought each bite to life. The Spicy Beef Salad was bright and fiery, laced with lime, herbs, and heat: a perfect balance of bold and refreshing. It felt like a dish you’d find at a local Thai home gathering: vibrant, fresh, and made with love. For mains, the Pad See Ew was soul-soothing. Thick rice noodles kissed by the wok, full of smoky soy flavour and silky egg. The Famous Pad Thai was exactly that; famous for good reason. The tamarind sauce clung to each noodle just right, and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. No Thai meal is complete without Mango Sticky Rice, and theirs was as comforting as it was nostalgic; soft, sweet, and rich in coconut milk, just like the kind you’d get at a street-side café in Bangkok. Drinks brought the fun: the Purple Rain was fruity and refreshing, while the Tamarind Margarita added a tangy, spiced twist to a classic; both perfect companions to the meal’s bold flavours. I was craving Thai food and so I decided to come here. Their food was fresh and delicious. The calamari was not instant fry and their green curry is super rich in flavour. I went home super satisfied.

Valentine's Day Prix fixe menu: one appetizer, two entrees and a dessert with a complimentary champagne. Cozy place with authentically great food! Pictures included: Mango Salad, Lobster khao soi, pineapple shrimp fried rice, chocolate cheesecake which does not appear to be on their regular menu!

The famous pad thai and Tum yum pad thai were great. The beef curry was a little sweeter than expected.

Yelp
A touch on the prodey side but really not bad at all, especially when compared to other similar restaurants in the area. Good selection on the menu without being overwhelming, and a decent mix of things as well. Taste was good as well. Really liked the curry pad Thai, but wasn't thrilled with the holy basil.

Yelp
I was in the area when I tried the fish store sandwiches, and I love Thai so I had to try this Jace, I got the pad kee Mao, the service was quick and efficient and I saw they gave me a ten percent discount and I didn't even pay cash, that's very nice of them. The noodles were cooked perfectly so soft and a nice chew, the beef was cooked perfectly and you mix their chilli sauce with it, the taste is divine. The ambiance looked very elegant, the waitress was very friendly, and the paad kee mao was probably the best paad kee mao i ever tasted even I would say better than khao san rao. The portion size is huge, me and wife shared, I ordered it medium which had a fair bit of spice to it. If you mix it with the chilli sauce they give you, the taste is out of this world. I would love to come here again and try their other wonderful dishes.

Yelp
Ordered take out recently and the food was so good with great portions! We got the spring rolls, pad siew, and panang curry which were all delicious. The noodles for the pad siew were really soft so it makes me wonder if they make it in house. Would definitely order from them again. Great food, large portions, and great price.

Yelp
Thai iced tea was good. Pad see ew needed more flavor and taste... Shrimp pad Thai wasn't spicy even though we asked for extra hot spice level. Items delivered were in good condition and no spillage so that was great!

Yelp
Let's start with the good. I'd give 4-5 stars for the food The food is excellent! We had the green curry, deep fried tofu and mango salad. Shared between 2 and it was really good 3 stars went to ambiance. It was freezing in there and an alarm kept going off when we were there. We went for lunch and there was only 1 person to serve. So they were running around doing take out and I'd say service was lacking. 2-3 stars for service. Also 1 star for not having a lunch menu. Who doesn't have a lunch menu!!! Overall I'd order their food again but maybe that is the secret - take out!! It was busier for that.

Yelp
Revisited the restaurant again and still love their food! We had the beef paid thai which was delicious , tom yum, chicken satay that was also flavorful but slightly dry. For drinks we ordered their white sangria and took advantage of their free milk tea promo. The staff was really po)lite, but didn't know how long the milk tea promo would last- you could get a free drink during your meal if you promise to post and tag them on Instagram!

Yelp
My friends and I came here on a rainy evening after a fun group date at Snakes and Lattes just down the street. We shared the shrimp pad see ew, green curry with tofu, and spring rolls. Imm Thai probably is one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever had in Toronto - so tasty and so flavourful. It was also enough food for us three. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
Imm Thai Kitchen, located along College near Grace St., serves up classic Thai eats in the heart of Little Italy. The restaurant is not big where there is seating for about 35-40 customers. They are also on many delivery apps and have take out as well. There is no designated parking for the restaurant so that may be an issue if you do plan on parking close by. It is accessible by public transportation (506 College Streetcar) as well as the 63 Ossington bus (in which you'll have to walk about ~8 min to the restaurant). I recently dined at Imm Thai Kitchen on a Fri night with a large party (of ~20 people). We were lucky to have been able to score a last min reservation and took up half the restaurant. Service was friendly but we were not able to pay by separate bills. Staff stated that with our party of 20 we were only able to split the bill into 5-8 separate bills (2 different staff stated different things which was confusing!). Throughout the night, service wise, the staff were attentive and we all got our orders at a reasonable time. They mostly served the appetizers first then everyone's mains. Food wise I opted for the chicken pad thai and a white wine sangria. Portion wise, the pad thai was huge and I couldn't finish the whole thing (took some home). The white sangria was made well. In comparison to other Thai restaurants in the city, Imm Thai Kitchen's pad thai is likely just average. Definitely not the best but not the worst. Some cons about that night: - The door kept opening and closing from delivery drivers and others picking up orders. As a result it made the restaurant quite cold most of the time which wasn't that enjoyable. - The noise in the restaurant can get quite loud. I did have trouble hearing others. - When my party had called to reserve we had informed staff that we were a big party with some individuals arriving late. As a result, staff had stated that they would allow us to sit for a longer period of time (staff, however, did not let us know of a time limit or anything of that sort). After about 2hr and 15min, staff rudely told us that we had to leave since another table was arriving who needed our tables. Unfortunate situation which could have been avoided since some of us were upset regarding the fact that staff failed to notify us of the time limit! Overall, average Thai food, so-so service. Toronto has so many other great Thai restaurants...but unfortunately Imm Thai Kitchen fails to be in that category.

Yelp
We thought we would try a new Thai restaurant, and we werent dissapointed. We really enjoyed this place. We started with the crispy fish app which was delicious. Lovely light and crispy fish, spicy dipping sauce, nice. Next we had basil chicken and crispy beef. We had both dobe at medium spice and we actually wished we had gone for mild! But still even being a little hot for our taste they were really good. The basil chicken is my gogo dish at Thai restaurants that I sue to test them out and they have nailed it here, really delsicous dish, wonderful flavours and balance. The crisoy beef was also good, quite sweet but wonderfully crispy. On the whole we really like this spot and will be coming back I'm sure they have many lovely dishes. Service was also very good, super friendly and efficient.

Yelp
Had a great night at Imm Thai visiting for the weekend. Found on a whim before our trip, we booked a reservation and was able to sit early. Drinks were good, food was great and the ambiance of the restaurant was fun. Recommend the papaya salad and pad thai!

Yelp
I passed by this restaurant on my way to another store in the neighborhood a few months back. The smell of food peaked my curiosity, so I noted down its name and searched on Yelp to read more about it. I was happy to read that the majority of the Yelpers gave good reviews- now I had to go and try the food! A few days before Friday afternoon, my friend and I made a reservation online. Then on Friday, we came in for lunch. A young lady greeted us and led us to our table. She gave us the menu and brought two glasses of cold water. She gave us a few minutes, so that we can decide what to order. The place was decorated beautifully, the walls were covered with tropical-themed artworks. The lighting fixtures were cool and modern. On the menu, a lot of the items looked so good! I ordered Tom Yum Pad Thai (most popular item) with tofu. My friend ordered Famous Pad Thai with chicken. Each item came out hot and fresh! It was presented beautifully as well. I've never tried Tom Yum Pad Thai before, I didn't know what to expect. It was lightly spicy- the noodles were cooked to perfection, the vegetables were cooked well, and the roasted peanuts provided crunchiness to the meal. My friend said she enjoyed her Famous Pad Thai- it was delicious! During our meal, our friendly waitress came by a few times to check-in on us and to refill our water. We felt that we were well taken care of. If you're looking for a new place to try that has great food and friendly service, come to this place! You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
May not seem like much from the outside, but once you step in you have got great food and drinks at your table. There are large portions of food (or maybe my party of 2 ordered too much) but everything was delicious. Leftovers were also delicious. We had great recommendations and presentation was also beautiful. It does get packed quickly so definitely recommend getting reservations. The mango salad was really refreshing. We ordered another appetizer, the sweet potato fries and it was just a spiral of sweet potato. It was so crispy and I'd get that again, even though my mouth hurt after eating it for a bit LOL.

Yelp
Imm Thai is apparently well known for their pad thai, but their real highlight is the Malay Curry - naturally spicy already and warned by the waitress, I tried the mild spice version and it was spectacular. The flavour on the chicken was mouth savouring and I would reorder that exact dish again! The pad thai was okay. The mango sticky rice for dessert was also spectacular visually and taste wise. The rice is warm so it isn't the typical cool and chilled dessert meal you would imagine. Interior was dimmed and pleasant for an evening night dinner. Give this spot a try!

Yelp
We have eaten here many times during the pandemic and we really enjoy it. OUR FAVOURITE DISHES ARE: THE STIR-FRY's: The Mixed vegetable stir fry with an additional protein choice and the garlic stir fry with protein and no spice. Both dishes have a similar sauce but they are delicious and they are served with a side of rice. Together both meals come with enough food to fill two people up. Cashew Nut Stir-fry: The cashew nut stir-fry is good but the mixed vegetable and garlic stir fry listed above have a much better flavour and are my top choices at this restaurant. THE CURRIES: On one of our early visits to the restaurant we ordered two curries and they were not the best. On their website they state they sell the best Thai curry in Toronto. I found this to be one of the worst Thai curries I have had. I don't recommend the curry. It didn't have a lot of substance and contained mostly sauce. GREEN MANGO SALAD: The green mango salad is delicious and presented beautifully when you order it in the restaurant. I definitely recommend this appetizer. PLEASE NOTE: If you order shrimp, you only get 3 pieces as your protein choice. In my opinion, the shrimp isn't worth it. Would I Return? Absolutely!

Yelp
Food: I would say it was average to above average, so maybe 3.5/5. Not the flavour I was hoping for. It's been better at other places. We ordered Beef Pad See Ew, Green Curry Chicken, Pineapple fried rice with chicken. Service: Good. 5/5. Very quick and attentive. Friendly. We reserved our table online and it was good to do that as the place is small and popular. Ambiance: Very nice 4.5/5. We got a good table right at the back away from the door opening and closing all the time to make customers cold. Very nice decor. I think you can give it a try but I don't think you will be wowed. It was good but I won't be back.

Yelp
Visited on a chilly Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was just half full. Ordered khao soi and a drink and it was exactly the way I remember it pre-pandemic! Attentive staff, fast service, and big portions. What more can a hungry lady ask for? Honestly don't think this is on par with Pai or Khao San Road but I think it's a solid establishment in Little Italy. Also love the ambience and vibe of the place. Will visit again!

Yelp
IMM Thai is part of the family of Thai restauraunts that include the Chiang Mai locations. This location is in Little Italy downtown Toronto with a nice patio, and within the restauraunt a combination of fairy lights and lamps make this a great place for a date. I'd gone with a large group prior to the indoor dining lockdown so we tried a bunch of dishes off their massive menu. For appetizers we had the Larb Chicken Wings, Springrolls, Satay Chicken Skewers and Oysters. The chicken wings had a crispy skin outside and scallions on top served on a banana leaf. The chicken skewers were 3 massive pieces of chicken which could have been a main course. The oysters, with fresh and came with 3 different sauces. For the main dishes we tried the Tom Yum Fried Rice, Malay Chicken Curry, Tom Yum Pad Thai with Lobster and Khao Soi. All the mains were delicious and had very authentic Thai flavor and taste. Hard to decide what my favorite dish was overall because none of them were bad choices. Probably the Lobster Pad Thai, because authentic Pad Thai taste much different then what 90% of Pad Thai tastes like in North America, and the Khao Soi because the hard boiled egg was cooked perfectly with the broth a bit spicy but not overpowering. For dessert there was two types of cake we tried. The raspberry greek yogurt and the caramel carrot cheesecake. Typically cheesecake is standard cheesecake with flavored topping on top. This was the first time ever I'd had cheesecake that looked as good as it tasted. IMM Thai mixes flavored cake within the creamcheese batter with flavored purees to make this gorgeous marble texture slices. The taste matches and the flavor is the perfect finish to any meal. The staff were very attentive, and although I'm not aware of what drinks the people in my party ordered, they were served quickly and the presentation was great.

Yelp
Great place for Thai on the west side. The Pad Thai was one of the best we've had in the city. Panama curry with beef and coconut rice was very well done as well. Will be back!

Yelp
I've been doing an unofficial tour of some of the best Thai restaurants in Toronto and IMM Thai was the latest stop. It's a relatively small place in Toronto's Little Italy with a cozy sidewalk patio, intimate lighting, and great tasting authentic Thai food! We had some popular Thai dishes and some of the restaurant's specialties. Our starters included Larb Chicken Wings, Tom Yum Chicken Wings, Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay Skewers, and Fresh Oysters. All yummy! Our mains included Tom Yum Pad Thai w/Lobster, Tom Yum Fried Rice, Pad See Ew w/Beef, Pad Kee Maw w/Chicken, Khao Soi w/Chicken, Massaman Curry w/Beef, and Malay Curry w/Chicken. The lobster is one of the house specialties and was thoroughly enjoyed by my dining companions. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to most shellfish and couldn't have this. I did, however, taste the noodles and they were delicious! The Malay Curry with Chicken had quite a kick to it, which I didn't mind. Delicious! I was getting full but I had to try everything. It was all delicious! After our meal (and packing up leftovers), we were so stuffed but we got a couple of slices of cake for sharing. Oh geez, gotta loosen my belt now. The Raspberry Greek Yogurt Cheesecake and Caramel Carrot Cheesecake were a great finish to our meal. They both had a nice texture and weren't too sweet. In addition to our fantastic meal, we enjoyed some refreshing cocktails and Singha beer. In addition to the beer, I had a White Wine Sangria with lychee. What makes great food even better? Great service, of course! The staff here did not disappoint. They were very friendly and attentive, making our evening even more enjoyable!

Yelp

Yelp
We were here on friends recommendation and it did not disappoint! We ordered for Pad Thai, Thai Basil Rice, Penang Curry and Sweet Potato Fritters. Each item was flavourful and tasted amazing. The portions were good too. The service was very attentive and ambiance was good, though music was loud. I recommend trying this restaurant!

Yelp
Holy sh*t, this place is amazing! Met a friend for lunch and she recommended here, and I am glad we went. To say the food is good would be an insult: IT'S AMAZING. Hands down the best Pad Thai I've ever had. There are many excellent Thai spots in Toronto, but this was the top one I've ever had. The Pad Thai comes wrapped in an egg pancake, and the serving is HUGE. Noodles were slightly undercooked but I like them Al dente, so it was cheesy. The tamarind is clearly made in house and the chicken large chunks of white meat chicken. The presentation is awesome. Server was very friendly and attentive. Prices totally fair. Will definitely be back, and as I told the staff in duty that day, it was so f**king good! (Okay, enough cursing for now )

Yelp
So just yesterday I decided to go on a food trip in Toronto and this was my last destination after gobbling down a bagel, sandwich, ice cream and dumplings. I had no room to eat by the time I got to them so I decided to get a to go order which was the shrimp Tom yum pad Thai and the sticky rice mango dessert. I ordered for a pick up and checked in for a free Thai ice tea.The order was ready in 15 mins.As I walked in the restaurant it was almost packed- it isn't a huge place to begin with. The restaurant is a well decorated with a beautiful bar as a back drop. The service offered was quick and friendly.I got my food and left.I couldn't help but open it in the car.Took the first bite of the Tom Yum Pad Thai and went to heaven.OMG I just couldn't believe my tastebuds-this was better than any pad Thai I have recently had in Toronto. It was purely out of this world. The portioning was perfect it had six jumbo shrimps and the flavors were on point. If the owners are reading this a huge kudos to you for creating this beast of a recipe. It also had a side a freshly fried shrimp crackers and those were delicious.I almost ate the entire thing on a full stomach. You guys their Thai ice tea is legit-do freaking good and not very milky like many places now make it definitely another 10/10. My dessert was a bit sad-the mango sticky rice had no syrup and the mangoes were sour but the rice bit was delicious I wish they didn't forget to put the condensed milk syrup. Overall I'm pretty sure this place lived up to its ratings and hype. Definitely looking forward to trying many more dishes here. P.s. I would have given them 4 stars just because they forgot to put syrup on my desert but the pad Thai was so damn good that I let it go.

Yelp
FREE Thai milk tea when you check-in on yelp! Grabbed lunch with a friend on a Saturday. It was surprisingly not busy at all. Read a lot of reviews saying its a small location and it could get busy on the weekends. Its located on College Street, so there is paid street parking in the front or street parking in the neighborhoods if you dont mind walking a little bit. What we ordered: - Free Thai ice tea - Shrimp chips - Tong Yum Chicken wings - Fish Cakes - Shrimp Pad Thai - Pad Ka Pow I loved those shrimp chips with that sauce on the side. It has some intense flavors. Tong Yum wings you dont find everywhere, so i recommend getting those too! The spiciness was on point too! If you like spicy like me, you wont be disappointed :)

Yelp
My friend and I ended up here by googling 'Thai restaurants near me' and we couldn't have been luckier. We stopped for dinner before a show and were just looking to eat something, anything, before we went. And then we went on to discover our new favourite spot for Thai food. We shared the shrimp rolls and pad ki maw (with veggies). We each got a tom yum soup, one with chicken and the other with tofu and veggies. The crispiness of the shrimp rolls and the sweet sauce hit the spot. The tom yum soup was just the right amount of spice for those who like mild spicy, if you're a person who prefers something completely mild and devoid of any heat I'd avoid this dish. If you want spicer you can always ask for more chillies on the side. I've never had pad ki maw, I'm usually more of a thinner noddle girl, but this surprised me. I was scared that the noddles would be too soft, but they were perfectly cooked and (of course) seasoned. The veggies were crisp and the spice rating was true. I'm a spicy girl so it was a 10 for me! The staff was so polite, sweet, and accommodating. The prices were reasonable as well. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
The server was super friendly from the moment I walked in until we left. You could tell she genuinely enjoyed her job and interacting with customers. There's an offer of Thai ice tea once you check in on yelp so make sure you do so. I've never had it before so I wasn't sure if I'd liked it or not but it was so good. The shrimp chips that my friend ordered were much better than ones I've had at chinese restaurants. The sauce on the side was a nice sweet accompaniment. I'm glad the Penang curry that I had was flavourful and not spicy. My friend's dish was spicy and the sauce on the side was even spicier. Beware if you can't handle spice. With my friend's dish there's a few protein options and she went all fancy with lobster. We were both stuffed but somehow found room for coconut cream with sticky rice for dessert. It was so delicious. The sticky rice was warm and went well with the cold ice cream.

Yelp
Mostly eat takeout here. Many dishes are excellent, including the curry pad Thai extra spicy, absolutely spicy and wonderful! Also have tried the massaman curry, which is my second favorite. Ordering the coconut rice instead of the steamed rice provides a delicious and different side dish experience. Also enjoy the Thai spicy squid or calamari. Not too spicy, and the pieces of squid are tender and delicious. Have eaten this food at least 10 times in the last couple of years ; would recommend.

Yelp
Very good tom yum pad thai. Good thai iced tea. Ttc accessible, good location. Reasonable prices.

Yelp
Having been to MANY Thai restaurants in and around Toronto, as well as around the GTA, it's safe to say that Imm Thai Kitchen is the BEST and has become my favourite Thai restaurant in Toronto. Everything from the food (taste, portion size, quality and freshness of the ingredients, authentic-ness) to service (friendliness of the staff, speed at which food comes out) is excellent. Not to mention that all the dishes are beautifully plated and presented. We were served a complementary plate of shrimp chips on the house. The shrimp chips were a great accompaniment to the flavourful, saucy noodle and rice dishes. Mango Salad - I loved the slightly crunchy and fresh green mango slices mixed with cilantro, red pepper, red onion, and crushed peanuts. The presentation was very pretty too. Pad Thai with Lobster - We were able to substitute the shrimps with lobster, yet the Pad Thai still came with pieces of shrimps and tofu which was awesome. Best Pad Thai in the city. Very flavourful, great balance of ingredients (ratio of noodles to protein & veggies). It came with crunchy raw bean sprouts and an egg crepe. Pad Puk with Shrimps - This stir-fried vegetables dish came with white rice and good amount of large tiger shrimps. The vegetables included broccoli, bell peppers, carrot, cabbage, onion, eggplant, and spiralled beets. Very yummy and good amount of vegetables. Pad See Ew with Tofu & Vegetables (Vegetarian) - LOVED this dish... our favourite dish of the night. The rice noodles absorbed the flavour of the sauce really well, and it came with nice extra firm tofu and good amount of vegetables (including one my favourite Asian greens, yu choy). We will definitely make a return visit!

Yelp
I became an instant fan of this place. The food is absolutely delicious. I will be back here, without a doubt. Have you ever walked by a Thai restaurant and smelled a mouth watering aroma? I've been disappointed before when the food hasn't had the same punch, but not here. It tastes exactly as your nose says it should. What I also loved was that they packed ample chilli oil, peanut sauce, and other sauces with our take out order. I love augmenting my bites with those additions, so they've truly won me over. The price point is very fair relative to the portion size as well. You'll pay more elsewhere for less quality and quantity. Give these guys your money. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Imm Thai? More like IMM OBSESSED. So glad my family & I stopped by for lunch here and tried so many dishes. TIP#1: FREE drink/iced tea with a Yelp check-in OR take a pic & tag them on social media. TIP#2: If you can handle spicy, let them know and they'll crank it up with some homemade fried garlic chilli on the side. Not only was the food authentic and flavourful, it was presented beautifully with flower-carved veggies! The warm service and modern rustic atmosphere made this such an enjoyable dining experience as well. //THE FOOD// THAI ICED TEA (5/5) - they nailed the balance of tea and creamy condensed milk that characterizes Thai ice tea! It came in a cute mason jar mug too. LAAP TOD (5/5)- essentially Thai pork meatballs with a unique blend of lemongrass seasonings. Eat this with the slivers of ginger & onion to make the flavours pop! SHRIMP CHIPS (5/5) - my grandma used to make this (very popular in SE Asia) and Imm Thai did this justice! It tasted like they used real shrimp, sweet, and super crisp from being freshly fried. My family & I were fighting over the divine sweet shrimp paste chilli that it came with haha! FISH CAKES (3.5/5)- the transparent sweet spicy in-house sauce it came with was delicious. Otherwise the fish cakes weren't too standout flavour-wise. PAPAYA SALAD (4/5) - apparently their specialty because the chef is from northern Thailand. It was sweet and sour with medium spicyness. TOM YUM PAD THAI with lobster (4/5) -Loved this take on the classic pad Thai with the sour Tom yum sauce. The shrimp was good, but I found the lobster more on the rubbery side. PENANG CURRY with chicken (5/5) - looked small, but don't underestimate how full you'll be. The curry was thick and sweet. It came with a cute pyramid of rice too. KHAO SOI (4/5) - is richer than what I've had in the past and a bit more sour than the Penang curry. Attention to detail on the plating is immaculate. //SERVICE & AMBIANCE// The dark wood finishes and modern Thai decorations gave a higher class feeling from other Thai places I've been to. I noticed details like the cool light fixtures, bright & large windows, and cute succulents. The server was very friendly, asked what spicy level we preferred, and gave awesome recommendations! //OVERALL// Whether I'm craving Thai on a casual day or more of a special occasion, I would definitely come back again to enjoy the classy space and delicious food! Maybe next time I'll have room to try their desserts too :)

Yelp
Imm Thai Kitchen should be renamed Yumm Thai Kitchen! I've had my fair share of Thai over the past three decades. I'm not going to go into all the various ones, however, recently it was EAT BKK and now Imm Thai Kitchen. Thursday night at Imm should be date night. Nothing can compare to the rich wood furniture with accents from their homeland. Beautiful benches flank both sides of the walls, and a wall to wall bar welcomes you to enjoy the night away. Half price wines by the glass or bottle doesn't hurt either. Shortly after 6PM, the quaint restaurant starts to fill up with hungry patrons. Foodies, first timers, expert travelers, all congregate into a mélange of conversations heard and overheard. Photos taken at every chance, quiet conversation by those who are on their first dates, more certain and confident tones from those who know each other well. Warm lightning provides glows on faces that enhances date night. Thai food here is elevated with more flavor and kick than a lot of contenders. I can go down the list of thing that I shared with my friends, but that would make for a long review and no one wants that...right? I take your silence as encouragement to continue. :D The FUUD - yes this is how I am going to spell food when it's off the charts! - was beautifully prepared, plated, and presented. We enjoyed the Laap Tod, Papaya Salad, Lobster Khao Soi, Pad See Ew, Pad Ka Pao, and Lobster Tom Yum Pad Thai. We also had thai ice tea, dessert, and took advantage of the wine special. I hope I have the items right, must do justice for a fine meal. For those who know what the dishes are, you are going to be IMM for a treat - see what I did there?...clever me....self high-five! ;) Though everything was fantastic, I usually like to PULL one dish out (you have to see the photos to get this reference) as my fav of the night...The Lobster Khao Soi! Egg Noodles drenched in their homemade golden curry with Lobster and crispy noodles. As a...dare I admit it?...a newbie-ish foodie?...I am always impressed with the inventive and delicious presentations made available to us on a minute-by-minute basis. IMM has to impress as they are located on the ever changing landscape of gastronomic glory that is Little Italy and the College Steet Scene. Another great find on my never ending need to impress my taste buds and satisfy my hunger for new flavours. Great company, great fuud, great service, and a great place. Happy weekend everyone! CHEERS!!!

Yelp
One of the better Thai restaurants in Toronto! Definitely worth a try. Khao soi and pad Thai were delicious with huge portions that were enough to bring back home for leftovers.

Yelp
If you want Authentic Thai food, look no further than Imm Thai Kitchen. I went with a group of 4 on a Thursday evening. We were seated right away and were brought the menu. We started off with delicious Thai Iced tea that wasn't overly sweet and had that strong Thai Iced tea flavour that makes it delicious. Growing up with Thai food was always amazing, so when I get the taste of my childhood I knew it would be great! They even do a cool twist of one of my favourite dishes "Laap" which is a minced meat salad that you eat with herbs like mint, cucumbers and lettuce. Their version is the same great flavours but deep fried to perfection in the form of a meatball which I found very unique and cool! I love the hint of spice and the hit of lemongrass flavour that comes with every bite. Of course you gotta have the famous Papaya Salad and this place presents it beautifully in a mortar and pestle. This salad is perfectly seasoned with the right kinda heat and was one of my favourites with the crunchy green papaya, pieces of Thai String bean, and juicy pieces of tomatoes. As for mains we got the Lobster Khao Soi - egg noodle in homemade Golden curry with crispy noodles. This dish was rich, creamy and very flavourful. Great textures between the noodles in the sauce and the crispy noodles that you break into the sauce. A big hit at the table which shows since it was the first dish to be devoured. Pad See Ew - stir fried fresh rice noodles with Thai sweet soy sauce and Chinese broccoli. I love the wide noodles in this dish also a table favourite. Lobster Tom Yum Pad Thai - signature Tom Yum flavour pad Thai with fresh Thai herbs. I really enjoyed the salty, sour and sweet flavour of these noodles. The texture of the noodles were perfect and wasn't drenched in sauce which I appreciate. I dislike soggy, soft noodles. Pad Ka Pao - stir fried Thai holy basil with minced pork (or chicken), with a sunny side up egg. This dish has quite a kick but so darn delicious especially with that spicy chili sauce that accompanies it. If you can handle the heat drizzle some over your meat and you're good! For desserts we got Thai mango sticky rice, Thai Iced tea ice cream and coconut ice cream. The mango sticky rice was beautifully presented and mangoes were delicious and ripe with a tasty drizzle of a sweet coconut sauce on top of a bed of sticky coconut rice. The coconut ice cream tasted freshly made using real coconut and garnished with pumpkin pieces on top. I appreciate that they don't cut corners and use artificial flavourings for their ice creams because I love the taste of the real thing. The Thai Iced tea was stronger in taste which I enjoyed more but the coconut ice cream was still delicious. I will definitely be coming back here again or ordering delivery from UberEats. The first time I actually had Imm Thai was actually delivery and everything tasted delicious but nothing beats eating it at the restaurant served straight out of the kitchen! I love this place, it's my new go to Thai restaurant in the city!

Yelp
What's better than pad thai? Lobster pad thai! This cozy spot in the West end is known for their signature tom yum pad thai filled generously with shrimp and topped with a lobster tail. And it was as delicious as it sounds! Full of flavor and well portioned. We also had the crispy fish, which is marinated in beer batter and deep fried, it was so crispy and flaky and the sweet and spicy dipping sauce on the side was a great compliment. We also had a small single serving of the chicken tom yum soup, which was pretty good but average. The only thing I was a bit disappointed in was their chicken satay skewers since the meat was dry and the marinating sauce was lacking flavor. But overall a great experience and I would check them out again and try the rest of their dishes!

Yelp
This isn't a neighbourhood I frequent, but I'm so glad a friend recommended this place for lunch. First of all, I love how they've decorated the interior - there are cute succulents on the tables, geometric lights, and interesting artwork. We were immediately drawn to the lunch special - you get an entree and two sides for just $11.99. I chose the Pad Ka Gao (stir fried Thai holy basil with minced chicken and a sunny side up egg) with spring rolls and tom yum soup. The soup was a bit too spicy for my liking, but everything else was delicious. You can see the portions from the pictures but I thought this deal was extremely worth it. There was one waiter manning the restaurant and he was incredibly attentive. He also let us know that we could get a non-alcoholic drink for free if we posted a photo of our meal on social media. I would love to come back for dinner and try their Lobster Tom Yum Pad Thai. Overall, a top-notch lunch.

Yelp
To support local restaurants during this difficult time, I used the oppty to try new restaurants. One of them being Imm Thai. I ordered the curry pad thai and it was delicious. Portions were generous, food came hot, it was made fast, what more could you ask for? I would definitely try this place again and order a few other things. Unfortunately, I was only one person, otherwise, I definitely would want to try some of their curries or appetizers. Overall, this place was tasty and for anyone thinking about order Thai food take out, definitely put this on the top of that list!

Yelp
Walked in hungry and caught the lunch special. Food: I ordered the pork pad ka pao which came with purple rice. My friend got the chicken pad thai. The serving size looked small but ended up being filling. Both dishes deserve a thumbs up! They put effort in presentation of their dishes. Service & atmosphere: This restaurant looked like it is family run, the staff were courteous. The decor around the restaurant embodied Thai culture. Price: The lunch specials are a great deal!

Yelp
Hardly any meat. You are paying $20 for what is basically rice, veggies, and sauce. All the cheap stuff. The stuff that costs them a little money, the meat, they skimp on. Even though $20 should be more than enough to cover to add some gosh darn meat. $20 is a rough estimate of one entree after tax.

Yelp
I have only done take out here during the Covid 19 fiasco. However, it was a great experience. Their website is easy to use and if you pick up your order they will give you 20% off your order! I really do recommend this because if you order through the delivery companies they will take a HUGE cut from the restaurant. I ordered the Tom Yum Pad Thai, the Thai Basil Fried Rice and Spring rolls. For take out portions are HUGE! I have enough Pad Thai for a good 3 meals. The food was pretty good too. The food was made quickly and I didn't have to wait too long for the food. Overall, very good! I'll try it again someday.

Yelp
Once you walked inside Imm Thai Kitchen, the staff welcome you like you're walking into their own homes. The place is warm and cozy in every sense, plenty of natural light and soft soothing music. Tastefully decorated with dark leather chairs and matching wooden tables/walls plus various traditional Thai pieces and arts completes the perfect layout of this restaurant. In every table you will also find air plants and succulents in their cute containers. Chef/Owner Mo and Joey our server, are super friendly and the nicest people you've ever met. They treat you more like a family/friend and not a customer. And OMG - the food, presentation, taste, and quality reminds us so much of the delicious food we had in Bangkok. Actually in all honesty we told Chef Mo that her food tasted even better! To start, we had the Tom Yum Soup with Shrimps ($8.95) - very authentic and just the right level of sourness. You can tell they didn't skimp on the herbs and ingredients. It was loaded with tomatoes, enoki mushrooms, galangal, kaffir lime leaves and coriander. One of the best Tom Yum soup we've ever tried! Panang Chicken Curry ($11.99) - One of their Lunch specials and you have the option to choose between soup or spring rolls. We chose the spring rolls and they give you 2 huge pieces. It also comes with a purple rice in conical form, so unique in presentation! The Panang Chicken Curry is so rich, creamy and spicy and the addition of kaffir lime leaves and panang curry paste gives it a distinctly unique flavour. Tom Yum Lobster Pad Thai ($23.95) - We were so excited to try this dish since the only time we tried Tom Yum dishes (i.e. Tom Yum Seafood Fried Rice, Tom Yum Pad Thai) is when we were in Bangkok and we love them so much. Imm Thai's Tom Yum Pad Thai comes with two big pieces of lobster tail on top of a delicious spicy rice noodle. And since we love anything Tom Yum, this dish is a winner for us. Muu Haeng (Sun Dried Pork) - this dish is not even on the menu but Chef Mo wants us to try it and we absolutely loved it. It consists of thinly sliced sweet/salty pork and is similar to a jerk meat and has a chewy texture. It goes well with the sticky rice. Thai Iced Tea - of all the Thai Iced Tea we've ever tasted, this is probably the best one we've tried. Chef Mo confirmed that she only imports the best Thai iced tea from Thailand which explains why it's so good. Homemade Coconut Ice Cream - One of the best Thai street food we've ever tried is the Coconut Ice Cream with sticky rice because of its simplicity but exotic flavour. When we mentioned this to Chef Mo, she mentioned that they make homemade coconut ice cream with sticky rice in the restaurant. We don't normally order dessert when we eat outside but I intentionally didn't finish my food and have it packed so I can have dessert. All I can say is WOW - you gotta try their homemade ice cream especially the coconut ice cream with peanuts and green sticky rice coz it's MIND BLOWING! So stop contemplating and just go try Imm Thai Kitchen if you want authentic Thai food. This is definitely a 5 star place for the food, quality, price and value. Without hesitation, we will come back AGAIN and will recommend this place to families and friends!

Yelp
I ordered take out from here. It was ready on time. The person at the cash was professional. It looked like a great place to eat in sometime-darker in all the right places. Clean inside. The portions are large. The food is flavourful.

Yelp
My BFF and I come here often for a Ritual pickup on our girls' nights ... doesn't get much better than pad thai, wine, and Netflix. It's never very busy, but don't let that deter you because as it turns out, it's a great little spot to dine in as well. Most recently, we came with a group and had a delightfully cozy dinner in. I normally order the vegan pad thai but this time I wasn't as hungry, so went with the coconut soup. Had no idea what to expect and I loved it! Everyone else was thrilled with their dishes too, arriving beautifully plated and overflowing in portions! Service was great and aside from them not having the Malbec we wanted, everything was perfect. Will definitely be back if not for my next Ritual takeaway, then to eat in and try something new.

Yelp
4 stars for food and presentation! Wow, pieces of art rather than food! We had the paneng curry and pad med chicken as mains and the chicken wings for appetizer. LOTS of flavour and the food was plated beautifully. But a bit too much MSG/fish sauce, because it was way too tasty... I would dial this back. This place is near College and Grace Street (Near Nightowl bar). The space was intimate so a booking is needed or you can wait/eat at the bar like we did as we dropped by casually. Great for big groups but I saw that not everyone's food was brought out at the same time. (The lobster dish looked ravishing though) They are a bit new (disorganized) but I can look past this because of the delicious food. Washrooms were clean!! Overall, pretty nice Thai place on College West. This place has my stamp of approval with room to grow!

Yelp
I've eaten here a few times in the past, both with take out and in the restaurant. I've always enjoyed the food in the past and would give it 3-4 stars. We just ordered dinner here today (for Mother's Day) and were pretty disappointed. We had two orders of Tom Yum Pad Thai, both mild, one chicken and one shrimp. They were both too spicy for the kids. One of them had way too much lemon grass flavour, or something similar, and was not very good at all. It was such a strong flavour that no one wanted to eat it. This one is going into the bin. The Massaman Curry was good tasting, but had zero potatoes. About the same level of spicy-ness as the Pham Thai, but this was supposed to be spicier. We also tried the Malay curry for the first time and it was decent. Nothing I would want to get again though. We also ordered the Thai Fresh rolls. Not a fan of these either. Rice wrapper was a lot thicker than I was expecting and took away from the dish. Overall a very disappointing experience, especially after the good experiences we've had in the past.
