April 2023/NBA Playoffs: After our tickets were scanned at the Crypto.com Arena, my friend in town from Seattle & I were on a mission to get a quick bite to eat before the game started! Impact Sports Bar & Grill absolutely hit the spot and packed a punch with a whole lot of flavor! Mouthwatering Veggie Tacos: Vibrant, delicious, flavorful, as well as plentiful! Seasoned to perfection & juicy, which I absolutely loved! There were three tacos filled with veggies practically spilling out of the shell with every single bite! Yum! I truly wanted to finish all three, because the flavor was so on point, but I only made it through two veggie tacos! Haha! My friend also enjoyed his sliders! Drink Up: I enjoyed my refreshing pineapple juice, and my friend enjoyed his margarita as well! Customer Service/Vibe: Friendly and attentive, loved our server as we sat at the bar! She was great! The place was busy and full of great energy! Also, grateful to our server who told me where to get veggie dogs when I asked... I was simply curious as to additional veggie options! Thanks again! Friendly and excitable crowd as well! Overall: I would absolutely return in a heartbeat for the veggie tacos and energy of the restaurant! Score!

The sports bar entrance is by Chick Hearns & Figueroa right by Team LA store. You can enter the arena through the sports bar with paid scanned ticket. The sports bar is pretty big and much nicer than I thought. There are bar seatings, high top tables, booths, and tables. We opted in and sat at the bar. The service was good and bartenders were friendly. I believe our bartender is fairly new, she had a bit of trouble on working the ordering/bill terminal. She wasn't familiar with the menu when we asked her questions about it. There is a decent selection of beer on taps, wine, liquor, margaritas on tap. The food menu is not extensive but a decent appetizer selection. We ordered the Versus wings (I think there were 14 chicken wings) which are served in split 2 different flavor sauces. The spicy bulgogi sauce & an Aji-like sauce with parmesan cheese. The wings were juicy, tender, and big. Not those janky tiny little wings. It's worth the money you pay for at a sporting event. I'm so glad they have these unique flavors coz I don't care for buffalo wings. We also ordered the pork belly confit tacos, they were really good. I am pretty impressed with the fusion food menu. I didn't expect the food to be that good , arena food is usually mehhhh. I assumed they might've hired a new chef with a new menu. Come check out this bar and grab some food if you don't want arena food. For the money you pay for in the arena, might as well get appetizers here. Come give them a try!

I am basing this on being a Season Ticket Holder in Section 100s....but in all honesty I feel bad for this place cuz it is now EMPTY! This year they made this Sports Bar available to certain Season Tix holders only..... Employees stand and do nothing quite often since there are only so many Season Ticket Holders in Section 100....not only that if you sell your tickets it's non transferrable.... PROS - Empty easy to get seating and food.... MINUSES - BORING when I used to watch games in here people would be cheering like Dodgers games and stuff....so it would be crazy in there!!!!! Hopefully they rethink this bonus and open it up either to more Season Tix holders and/or make it at least transferrable within Section 100.... Yes, this is coming from somebody who gets the perks of going in ....

This is a cool sports bar inside the Staples Center Great place to pre game. Tons of TVs, not all of the TVs are showing the game. Some TVs show other sports. If you have tickets for the game you can walk directly into this sports bar from outside of the Staple Center. Skip the line at the main entrance Kinda cool.

It had an impact that's for sure. Been a season ticket member for 10 years now and the food in the building has in the last 3 years or so, gotten worse every year. Had the "pork belly" taco's, and while yes it technically did come from the belly it was just thick cut bacon. How you can cook bacon to be hard and soft fat in 1 tiny damn piece is impressive, I wont be back. My kids chicken bite deal was tiny as well. As far as the atmosphere, If Costco was to open a bar I imagine this is how it would feel. The one positive was our server, she was excellent.

YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2018 - 44/100. I came through for back-to-back basketball games recently and immediately noticed the overhaul on this place. I could have sworn this used to be Draft Kings Fantasy Sports Bar, but nevertheless, it's cool because it's located close to my assigned seat. The game had already begun, so there really wasn't a crowd. Near the front door was a line for staff only, so Bestie and went straight to the bar. Bartender came to us soon shortly, so we put in an order for grub and food. She told us we had to go to the "staff only" line if we were to order food as she was only taking orders for drinks. So, off we went to said line. This is where we sorta got confused because there was no one manning the POS systems and there were at least a couple of people ahead of us. Then a staff member popped out of nowhere and took orders. We went ahead and gave ours on our turn (A beer, a soda, tater tots and sliders.) We were then directed to have a seat across the way to wait for our orders. That was a bit unusual since it was practically on the other end of the bar. So, we waited... and waited... and waited... A little over 5 minutes and no hint of whether our order was ready or not. After a couple more minutes, I decided to look across the way to their food counter. Low and behold, there was our completed order sitting there. We were upset that no one had enough sense to let us know it was ready. So, we got up to pick up our goodies and headed to our seats. I then realized there was no staff there to verify the order belonged to us. (Well. There was NO staff, period.) This tells me anybody from wherever could have easily walked in and take it! I didn't like that thought at all. Can't really comment on the beer and the soda. They are what they are. The tots were pretty good, but, as things go at Staples, pricey. The sliders? Dry. And COLD. What else was there to expect; the entire order most likely sat on that cool counter longer than it had to. If they're already this bad without a crowd, I don't even want to imagine how they are with it. I know they're new, so I understand they're still l working out a lot of kinks. The experience, however, was enough to deter me for a second stop the next day. A return visit? Possible, but not anytime soon...

I love the Los Angeles Kings, but sometimes they drive me to drink. After the Kings lackluster play at a recent game, the hubby and I decided to grab a drink and a snack at Impact during the second period. We bellied up to the bar, and I was happy to see that the bar offers a few flavors of Absolut Vodka, unlike the rest of the bars at Staples Center. I immediately order an Absolut Lime and soda, and some garlic tater tots and sliders...and the bartender took off to place the food order, but she didn't ask my husband if he wanted anything! Um, what? She came back with my drink, and once again - ignored my husband! Our food came shortly thereafter, and it was dissapointing. The garlic tots didn't offer any fresh garlic, just a heavy dose of garlic salt mixed with parmesan on top. Bleech! The sliders weren't much better - the beef reminded me of those horrible hamburgers that my Elementary school used to serve. Since our bartender didn't want to serve my husband for some odd reason, we quickly left and went back to our seats to catch the rest of the game. Giving the bar two stars solely for the large alcohol selection.

This bar inside Staples Center is probably rocking during Lakers games... but I only attend LA Sparks games and it's very quiet... it's hard to tell if it's even open most of the time. During Sparks season, it is used primarily as a meeting place for season ticket holder events - for instance, after every home game, there is a Q&A session with players held at Impact. During these meetups, you can order food from their (very stadium typical) menu. Decent beer selection as well. The worst thing - the bar stools are TERRIBLE - and they're pretty much your only seating option. They are covered in this soft leather and way too much batting and you just sink and can't sit up comfortably. It's a rite of passage, watching a first timer's look of complete alarm as they sit down on what one expects will be a somewhat firm barstool and encounter what feels a bit like attempting to sit on a marshmallow. Yeah, they should really switch out those awful chairs. Other than that, they have the same type of food you'll get elsewhere in Staples - at the same high prices. Staff is generally very friendly though.

We went to a Lakers game at Crypto Arena and our favorite restaurant was closed for a party so we stopped in here. Food was really excellent but very expensive. Service also was really good.

Turkey sliders were cold. Twice Lights are too bright over tables. Garlic fries were good

I was so indecisive about what to order and the very sweet bartender suggested their Southwestern Mac & Cheese special for the night. She was probably really busy and I was taking my sweet ass time but she never showed it. She was super sweet, knew her stuff and the Mac & Cheese was delish! Spicy, cheesy but not too rich and definitely not like the powdered cheese kind. She said it was a special but hope they put it on the menu regularly. Now if they just put some shredded chicken on it I would be back daily and would need to invest in a gym membership. So I guess the no shredded chicken version is just fine. I'll be back!

I came for the BTS concert and saw they had Bulgogi beef on the menu. So I had to order their Bulgogi rice bowl. It was freaking delicious!!!!! I also order their drink special I think it was called the Mic drop and that was bomb too!!! Definitely coming back here for their specials next time!!!

Came here after the 1st period of the Kings game. Wasn't packed at all. They're normally packed before the game. You sit and they come and get your order. They don't have too many items on the menu. It's more of small bites type of place. I ordered the Classic Burger sliders. They were a bit dryish. I added ketchup and ranch to mine. Wasn't the best burger obviously. The garlic tater tots were good. The wings were rubbery. I had a feeling the food wasn't going to be great but I wanted to give it a try. Oh and the chips and salsa is regular tortilla chips and guacamole and salsa in little containers. The tortilla chips were the best from all the food we ordered. I won't try this place again.

Turn the effin music down. I'm here for a kings game and you literally have to scream to talk to the person standing next to you

in short: Glorified Concession Stand. We enjoyed the former Hooters across the street for many years (just so you see I have reasonable expectations, 2.5 Yelp Rating) and dropped into this place recently. It is a great space with comfortable bar stools, but the this sort of finger food is just not gonna fly long term. Since I didn't pick up the bill I had to check $$$ prior to my review to maybe re-evaluate my experience to price ratio.. and it is still a no. Once the construction around Staples stops and people will an easier time to roam around the area to check out other places, it is gonna be tough for Impact. Step up your game guys, this is prime real estate in Los Angeles.

The one star they are receiving is for cooking the food right and not burning it. But here are the reasons why they suck. 1. They are lazy. When we entered to ask how long was the wait they pointed at some guests and said "They've been waiting over 30 minutes" in disgust which looked like they hoped we would turn around and leave. I mean that implies it's going to be a long wait. So instead we moved over to their bar area to order a water. After hunting down the drink server this is what they served us.... 2. Stank ass attitude. It was as if asking them for a water bottle was too much load for their backs. After handing me the water without the cap, I asked if I could have it. She said she wasn't allowed to give the caps because people pee in the bottles and throw it onto the court. Crazy how she's the only one in the restaurant who didn't provide the caps because everyone at their tables had a water with a CAP. As I walked out everyone in the corridors had a water bottle with caps included. I should have just gotten the water from anybody else at Staples center because apparently she was the only one following this rule. How inconvenient. 3. Inconsiderate servers. We decided that 30 minutes or so was worth the wait after seeing that most of the hallway vendors were just as long (at least the good ones were also a long wait.) We went in and ordered at the take-out section, but decided to sit down as we were told we could do so. As we waited for our number to be called, we were told by the waitress attending that we should order from her if we were going to eat in next time. Too late to tell us what someone else failed to mention when we asked if we could just come in and bring in and sit if we found something else to eat elsewhere. Then what felt like was done in order to spite us, the take-out person never called our number or let us know our food was ready. As we looked over, our food was sitting at the counter getting cold. They had sent our food over to the "sit-down" section versus "take-out", where the waitress should have picked up our order to deliver to us or at least let us know. Knowing we didn't order with her, we expected to hear our number/name called out. Instead neither the waitress, who already knew we were waiting for our food, or anyone else (including a manager, bartenders, waitresses, guy who looked like body guard who were just standing there) just set our food on the counter to get cold. If it wasn't for my fiancé going up to the counter to ask who's food that was, we would have never gotten our food. Or maybe it was their plan to let it get cold before they acknowledged it. Btw by this time they weren't even busy and our food only took 15 mins or less to be ready. So you can't even say the waitress or the five other people standing behind the counter doing nothing were too busy to acknowledge the hot food no one was kind enough to call out. I mean this is your job, the food was already paid for. You had one last thing to to do and you failed. I understand why the waitress did not attend us as we did not order with her. But it would have been kind to let us know our food was ready if no one was going to call it out. I left a tip when I paid for the order. And maybe I would have left an extra tip if she would have not made us feel unwanted at the table. But thanks for finally coming over and picking up our trash because I sure wasn't going to after that treatment.

Food was great and wait staff very friendly and attentive. I'm a season ticket holder for the Kings and this is my go-to spot for my pregame ritual. Go Kings and Go Impact Bar and Grill!

Impact Sports Bar and Grill is amazing. It's the only place I'll go to eat at the staples center. It's got the best location, TVs everywhere, a great view of the Shaq statue outside and the atmosphere is so cool. The menu of food and drinks is awesome and healthy for the most part. The service was quick and amazing despite being crowded. Highly recommend this place to everyone that goes to an event here!

My boyfriend and I attend Kings games regularly--at least twice a month. The Kings were having an off night (as they do) and the Capitals fan sitting behind us had an annoying pitchy voice, so we decided to check out Impact to get some enjoyment from our evening. It was fairly empty and we sat at the bar. After several minutes of waiting patiently and making eye contact with two of the bartenders who were chit-chatting, I politely asked one of them standing right in front if me if they were still serving. He was less than 12 inches away looking straight at me and gave no response whatsoever. I saw this as incredibly rude and decided to leave right after that. I will NEVER give Impact my business. NEVER.

This review is mainly about the bar. I recently attended a concert and decided to try the sports bar instead of the usual ones sprinkled through the lobby or Golden Road, and regret that this wasn't a pleasant venture away from habit. At first I was happy to see the place not entirely busy, but still with happy concert-goers at tables and the food looked good. The bar wasn't as packed as the ones in the lobby, and appeared to be staffed by happy bartenders. I patiently waited at one of three different sections that was manned by a bartender, as he attended to two ladies who were already ordering as I got there. As I was waiting, a couple cuts ahead of me, and another one arrives after to the side of me. Once the customers of me ahead finished their transaction, he served the couple that cut right in front of me. I let it pass, thinking that he probably didn't notice they had cut ahead of three people, but there drinks weren't complicated so no worries - it shouldn't take long. By this time, the bar did get busier, and I was ready with card and ID, to help expedite the process since he had already vocalized his seeming frustrations about the influx of customers at the bar. The couple finishes and the bartender nods at me BUT then proceeds to help the couple who came after I did. It had been about 15-20 minutes already, so I left and bought a drink elsewhere and continued on with my evening. Perhaps this was an isolated situation, but I found it rude and a waste of time. Some might say there's no room for politeness at a bar, but I beg to differ. Hope that this isn't the usual mode of operations for an establishment at such a reputable venue in LA.

Just had the most horrible experience here. I waited patiently for the bartender to serve me. As I flag her the first time, this short little bartender turns to my section at the bar and says there's a bunch of people I'll get you next. Another 5 min role by. A guy steps in next to me and she takes his order before me! Wow! I'm still trying to be understanding since there's a lot of people so I wait I figured she'll get me next. This guy next to me orders all this food and drinks. She finally asks to take my order and says I can't serve you any food. WTF!?! I say hold up, I flag you a while back you say wait, then you take this guys order before me and you all of his food and drinks and you turn to me and say you won't serve me food? After you skip me??? I say to her I got a few kids there waiting this whole time and you skip me and now you're telling me you won't get me any food. She turns and says to me I'm done with you and proceeds to serve another customer. Like wow! People behind me and even the other servers acknowledged she was wrongdoer doing that. I end up sending my kids to go get food somewhere else while I waited to speak to the manager. Eventually 30 min I waited to speak to him. He ended up comping me my drinks and apologized. That little lady has no business being a bartender w that kind of customer service. Safe to say as a season ticket holder at staples center for over 15 years I will never order from this place again. Ever! Never in those 15 years have I had such a horrible experience either. I will seek to complain with my rep and anyone I talk to about this place while at games. I will advise everyone of my neighbors at staples center the same. This place is just down right awful. Stay away from this power tripping rude bartender.

I came to this bar before a concert and had a great time! The bar has a separate entrance from the rest of the arena, so it is a little hidden entrance when all of the lines are really long. They have a great selection of beers, cocktails and bites. The garlic tater tots and Impact Sliders were a favorite among my friends. Its also a great venue for a big group, because you can order everything at the counter, so there is no stress of multiple checks at the end of the night.

Stopped by Impact bar for a quick drink before the Wild'N'Out show. Love the atmosphere and the employees who work in there. Racine is a super star and was very friendly. Love this place!!

This bar is awesome. Came here right before a concert. We were running late and my fiancée and I were starving (and thirsty ). We let our server know we were in a hurry. Our waitress helped us out immediately. And had our drinks to us in 2 minutes and our order of sliders being made in the kitchen. The food was good for bar food. Quick and simple. The vibe is really cool. Good music, people watching, and drinks. And the best part is, once you're in, you're in. No waiting in line for concert and walked straight to or seats with a full belly and a buzz. Thank you Impact Bar for a great experience!

had a small gathering here prior to a game with some clients and it was fantastic! Wait staff is fast and accurate, drinks are cold and food is actually good. Pricing is on par or better for the amount of food and quality.

Ended up here for the first Kings-Kinghts playoff game as everywhere else was packed. Drinks expensive, service so-so and the food awful. One in our party ordered a Mac & cheese dog with tater tots , everything was cold. Told the server and the second order was not much better, everything here seemed to be premade and then just Microwaved. There were 4 in our group and we tried the guacamole, the wings, 1 order of sliders , a salad, 2 hotdogs and 7 beers . Bill was $160. Outrageous for the quality of the food and the quantity. Will never go back and do not recommend.

What a craptastic dining experience! The environment's not bad...the beer's what you'd expect to pay in any stadium/arena. But the food? They don't offer a ton of entrees or quality for that matter. We got the sliders...as looked like the least offensive thing on the menu. They were cooked to perfection in the microwave. First off, they look like ALPO served on a bun. You get two horrible little sliders on hardened buns for like $14. No fries, no sides...but a hearty sprinkling of pickles. They drop about 10 sliced pickles in between the two crappy sliders they give you...and it's all served in a sloppy tray that holds all the wonderful microwave juices. Mmmm-mmmm. I'm making this sound way more appealing and appetizing than it really was. From the time we order the burgers to the time we got them...about three minutes passed, I could've sworn I heard the industrial microwave "DING!" when our flavorless bounty was ready! And the taste...well, it was all sloppy condiments, the beef (I'm hoping it was beef) was a flavorless brown puck of non-description. Don't the sliders sway you though. We also tried the Gauc/Salsa and Chips. And whatever that green stuff was...it kinda' looked like Guac...but it was a horrible knock off for about $12. Fortunately, the beer was real beer and pretty good. I didn't see one group of people seated near us "enjoying" their meal. Everyone kind of looked at each other resigned themselves to "what it was." They all knew that they were in for a quick, over-priced slop-fest before the game. And as harsh as that sounds...that's the way it was. Never again! The folks at Staples Center should really take a hard look at this place. They spent money on the interior...but seriously cheaped out on the one thing that could've made the experience much better. Another win for big stadiums with crappy food!
