I typically go to Impact Kitchen after a workout to grab a smoothie, quick bite or sometimes work from there as well. My favourite is the ‘Glow’ smoothie and for lunch I usually get their Zesty Mexican bowl. Today I tried their Egg + Avocado toast, on gluten-free sourdough bread and it was delicious. I wanted to shoutout Miranda as she helped to answer all of the questions I had. She was patient as I was undecided on what to choose—I was hungry for everything on the menu! The health-conscious options are truly what make Impact Kitchen a restaurant I return to. Perfect for individuals who have sensitivities, are counting macros, and are looking for a tasty treat.

Came all the way from Vancouver to eat at Impact Kitchen! 🤭 Kind of kidding. I’m not kidding at the obsession with this place! 😍 10/10 truly healthy food, which is SO hard to find. Love that they don’t use seed oils and have fresh, thoughtful ingredients. I ate here 3-4 times on a recent weekend trip to Toronto - it is that good! 🥹✨

One of my favorite places to work from and grab a bite! The Unwind drink is incredible — like a hug for your soul. Their baked goods are amazing, especially the MCT bar and chocolate sea salt cookies. I’m also a big fan of their bowls. They’re fresh, flavorful, and filling. Highly recommend!

Recently spent a few days in Toronto and had a nice lunch from Impact Kitchen during that trip. This is a healthy food specialist with a few branches around the city including this location on Adelaide Street W. Opening hours are 7.30am to 10pm (Mon to Thurs), 8am to 9pm (Fri & Sat) and 9am to 9pm (Sun). They have a fairly large indoor seating area in a functional layout, some outdoor tables are available as well. Separate menu for morning and lunch. Passed by and was prepared a good Zesty Mexican bowl with extra falafel recently. Ingredients were fresh and combined nicely for a healthy and balanced lunch. Would be more than happy to pass by again or try their other branches for breakfast or lunch based on this recent experience. Seems like a solid and functional choice for healthy eats.

A true gem downtown. Beautiful staff, great healthy food. Great atmosphere! Continues to be amazing! Looking forward to another winter. A true part of my personal health care.

Straight fire from the moment I opened the bowl, this was so yummy and completely made my day.. but the total show stealer was the protein cookie, wow incredibly consistency and flavor full of high quality nutrients. Solid plentiful portion, presented beautifully and everything has that good old homemade with love, pride and outstanding over and above effort factor. The taste and diversity of palette sensations was phenomenal. A beautifully presented plentiful portion of wholesome, yummy superfood ingredients, fantastic and exciting flavors made this a home run for sure and I'll definitely be grubbing at this joint again. Support Canadian businesses!

Edit: my husband and I popped in this evening to get a healthy treat. Their desert/treat case was filled with bugs...like numerous bugs crawling all over each and every dessert. We told the employee working the till and she just smiled and nodded... I was like 'so you know there are bugs crawling all over the desserts' and she smiled and nodded with a smug attitude. I asked her 'why is that?' And she just shrugged. No apology, not even a single word to offer an explanation. Just apathy and wildly poor customer service. This place just keeps getting worse and worse. My husband and i order from there regularly but recently, quality and portions have gone way down and for the price point, its just not worth it. This salad was almost $16 WITHOUT any protein, and its half full! These prices are getting ridiculous and the salad itself isnt the greatest.

I came here to pass some time. Despite the crowd, the space was open and comfortable, so it didn’t feel suffocating at all. The protein pancake was surprisingly good—most protein or ‘healthy’ pancakes I’ve had in the past tasted like cardboard, but this one didn’t! Great customer service as well!

Yelp
I came here on a Sunday morning and it was busy. We were able to find a table for 2. Lots of different breakfast options and I really like how you're able to mix and match items. I got the sweet potato, avocado, salsa, and eggs. I also got a cup of beef bone broth. Everything was very tasty! You order upfront and they give you a number and they bring it to your table when it's ready.

Yelp
I was really curious about this place because it's so popular and popped up every where. It's fine, good food at quite high prices. I got a Mexican flavor bowl but it was more like a salad bowl with some guac and beans, not much Mexican flavor or spices. The service is pretty good, I got a free cookie when they learned it was my first visit even though I didn't have the app.

Yelp
After waiting in line for 20min to make an order. I get to the cashier which really isn't a cashier anymore and they tell me they don't accept cash. These are the businesses that support non free society. It should be a law that our currency is accepted everywhere if you are gonna own a buisness in Canada.

Yelp
This was our first time at Impact Kitchen and loved the delicious, nutritious food and how colourful and vibrant the Power Bowls looked! I had to take some time to let my eyes do the eating first! We went because I wanted to eat more rainbow coloured meals that were also healthy and their website had excellent photos. They have several locations in Toronto and we went to the one at 444 Adelaide St. West. The service was excellent, friendly and very helpful with our many first timer questions. We loved the spacious, warm atmosphere and big, bright windows. Would definitely come back and do some work here since many others were doing the same. My pal Derek enjoyed his colourful Poke Bowl, Power Bowl: Marinated tuna, brown rice, edamame, red peppers, cucumbers, carrots, avocado, pickled ginger, green onion, sesame seeds, spicy aioli, poke marinade (tamari, rice vinegar, chili oil, sesame oil, honey) And I enjoyed my Hero Power Bowl very much! I loved the colour and textures of my meal and it looked like two different meals from different angles! Kale, salsa fresca, avocado, roasted broccoli, roasted sweet potatoes, roasted beets, hemp seeds, sliced almonds, sprouts, pesto dressing (parsley, spinach, basil, sea salt, garlic, nutritional yeast, walnuts, water, olive oil) with add on of grass fed steak. I found the prices a little high for the amount of food you get but I'd still come back for the awesome ambiance. Highly recommend this location for excellent, healthy meals and awesome place do do some work.

Yelp
Impact on Adelaide has been my go-to for a daily coffee routine ever since I signed up for their coffee subscription. It took me about 20 seconds to do the quick math of what I was spending daily, walking a similar distance from home to Jimmy's original location on Portland. That coffee expenditure sure adds up! So for $49.95 I opted for the longer duration giving you unlimited drip coffee, any size, espresso, or Americano, one every 2 hours minimum all day while they are open so wow, what a deal, especially if you like to greet the day with a short walk for coffee, rather than make your own at home in your pjs. There's another option, at least when I signed up, for $19.95 for one month, so save another $10 by going all-in for the 3 months. The coffee is Pilot roasters, so delicious! I've had it as espresso where you can really get a handle on the flavors and it does not disappoint. I don't mind sitting and having my coffee there, just to people watch, to have a break from being at home, getting to know the place, regulars and staff, and also to avoid having to bring a paper cup home to add to my trash. I tried having the drip coffee in a ceramic cup while sitting inside, but found that with the cold ceramic and also the generally cool room temperature, that it wasn't warm enough for me. The paper cup at least keeps it from cooling off as quickly, although I really prefer drinking coffee out of a proper cup, rather than cardboard. There is a small patio just around the corner door which is nice and well-used weather permitting. The big heavy glass doors do not have any barrier to the interior once opened so often there is a cold breeze blowing in when someone opens them on a cool day. You'd think in Canada, a double door would be nice, especially when it's right beside people sitting inside, brrrrrrr. The advantage is the app ordering, like SB where you order on your phone and blow in and out (dogs are welcome!) quickly with the single door. I haven't tried the food at Impact Kitchen, but it looks amazing and plenty of people love having the bowls of the healthful-looking offerings. They have a fantastic business model where they have the good stuff, with different protein options that include meat so basically good for everyone. The originators of Impact are the guys behind Mac Cosmetics, another Toronto success story, so if you want to support local, Impact is another legitimate place to patronize, rather than the usual McDonalds, Tim's or Starb. Recommended!

Yelp
The paleo waffles for weekend brunch, especially in Benedict form! Very good healthy snacks can be collected from here too to go.

Yelp
Impact Kitchen is a non-guilty pleasure, and a combination of dining experiences. There is something for everyone at Impact. They serve all the fancy coffee drinks of a coffee shop; wine/beer like a casual cocktail bar; protein bars and smoothies for the active guests; and breakfast/lunch/dinner for those looking for a full meal. Most dishes are vegan/vegetarian as a baseline for those with dietary restrictions, but they offer fish/chicken/steak/bacon additions for the meat lovers. Their kitchen is gluten-free and the way they operate their business is sustainable, leaving little "impact" on the environment by hospitality standards. They have bar height tables each equipped with a power outlet for those who need to bring a laptop, but the decor is stylish and modern for those who would like a restaurant-style experience. There is something for everyone at Impact and nobody is left out!

Yelp
Great food. Nice to have healthy options in the city. They have paleo friendly food and they use healthy alternatives to vegetable oil.

Yelp
I ordered via Ritual and got the breakfast bowl. It looked nice and I enjoyed it. I would say they need something for the spinach because it was a little boring. I asked for hot sauce and that made everything a lot tastier! The eggs were excellent but the salsa was a little lacking. I was pleased until I found a hair in my bowl. Not the worst thing that can happen, but certainly not the best. Seeing as this was my first time ordering from them, it has definitely left a negative impression.

Yelp
Impact kitchen is one of my favourite places to take my laptop to and get some productive work done. Their spaces are clean and well equipped with good wifi connection and many outlets to charge your tech. For this visit I ordered the beef and venison stew ($8.95) which came with a slice of bread, chai tea ($3.25), and an MCT bar ($3.95). Service is always great.

Yelp
Got the $8.95 before tax smoothie: can't taste the berries; watery, the goodies were left in the blender. Two people with untied long hair were in the kitchen, one made the smoothie.

Yelp
This is one of my lifesavers in the neighbourhood when I need a balanced meal or need to make up for missing vegetables. It's one of the most affordable full-nutrition places in town and has two dishes in particular that are so comprehensive and delicious that I could probably survive off them alone. The first is the Hero bowl. It has literally every vegetable in one dish with a perfect mix of sweet, salty, spicy and acidic flavours. I always get it with chicken for the protein boost. For $25 I've tried to recreate this at home and it's simply impossible. The other menu item I love is the burger. Paleo bun, real burger, real potato fries, real salad. Once again, perfect complement of flavours and quality. Impossible to buy and make yourself for less. As a burger aficionado, this one gets my vote for the most "home cooking" style. It's the opposite of the majority of Toronto burgers which are smash style with no toppings and tons and tons of fat and salt. When I'm really craving beef and still want to feel healthy I get the Impact burger. In short, Impact is the food you'd cook at home if you could cook and wanted to be healthy but still eat a non-restrictive diet. Others may complain that it's not 100%-vegan, gluten-this or almond-that, but to me the advantage of Impact is specifically that it is not hyper "restrictive". It's great, accessible healthy food.

Yelp
Loved the food and the service was amazing definitely a good place for gluten free food

Yelp
Very nice atmosphere. Food came out really quick. Everything tasted very fresh and was delicious. All the bowls are very customizable which is great. The desserts are also very delicious. We had a donut and one of the health shots. Would definitely come here again!

Yelp
My friends and I decided to try Impact Kitchen after one of the staff members at the spa where we'd spent our morning recommended it. The space is bright and modern, and service is friendly, but I was really disappointed with the food. I realize that when you're aiming for sustainability and healthier choices, you sometimes have to sacrifice taste and available options, but it was really a struggle to find something decent here. A significant number of items contained allergens like tree nuts, so weeding out those options made the list pretty short. I landed on a salad with avocado and sweet potato which, for the price charged, was certainly poor value, given the basic nature of the dish and the blah taste. Desserts were definitely off the table because of allergens and a resistance to trying something with the unappetizing name of "collagen pudding". I get that places like these aren't good for people with food restrictions, which is really unfortunate because it would be great to have healthy and sustainable options that we could all enjoy.
