This mostly plant based vegan/vegetarian restaurant is both innovative and (not surprisingly) a place for a really fantastic meal! We ate here twice while staying in Beverly Hills, and will definitely keep returning in the future. We especially enjoyed the Impossible Bolognese and the Kelp noodles with pesto and Impossible Sausage. The portions were really large! Service was excellent and friendly. They have a decent selection of wines, and during happy hour time, you get endless refills on wine, so it’s a great value if you are an early dinner person or if you are just looking for a place to relax and have some wine. We are hoping that they open a location closer to us soon! We will keep going back and recommend this restaurant to our friends.

Google
A gluten free health food restaurant - it’s pretty good if you’re craving pasta and carbs and pizza but want to be healthy because their ingredients are low calorie and and health conscious. I do love that everything on their menu is gluten free so you don’t have to feel like you’re skipping out on pasta. I got it doordashed and got the zucchini noodles with grilled chicken and grilled veggies — didn’t realize that the noodles would be actually zucchini 😅 even though it said “zucchini noodles” I assumed it was regular noodles with zucchini on the side. Overall it was good, the flavor was heavy on tomatoes (I got the pomodoro sauce) and it was filling, they put a ton of sauce on it so if you don’t want that much you’d have to tell them. Impasta is a great option for those looking for healthy Italian alternatives and gluten free. Their other pasta options may also be plant based so if you’re looking for actual noodles it seems like they don’t focus their pastas around that

Google
Absolutely in love!!! “No Regretti Spaghetti” for the win! Low calorie, low carb, gluten free- no guilt pasta! I LOVE love love this menu and concept! My favorites are the hearts of palm, spaghetti squash with vodka sauce and the bbq chicken cauliflower pizza. They have a location in Beverly Hills and just opened in Santa Monica. I wish they were everywhere cuz it’s so nice to have healthy options to comfort foods and restaurant faves! Great customer service- feels like family and super fresh! I can’t wait to try everything on the menu! :)

Google
Food was absolutely delicious, barely recognize it was gluten free. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back here whenever I have a chance to travel to LA again!

Google
This place is pretty good....for a bite size snack. Maybe..the other reviewers had tiny appetite? Maybe it is the adds on of shrimp and ricotta cheese that made this expensive...? The food was okay. There are other places that are better and bigger in serving sizes. To order foods in photo, we paid 70 dollars

Pasta & wine paring?! YES!! and you know what.. in the HeaRT of BeVerLy HiLLs. I totally love this famous salmon truffle pasta. The salmon is super juicy and delicious. Not only it looks yummy, it's even more yummy than it looks LOL I was asked by other customers 3 times - what is this dish?! Try the side dish tomato salad that comes with VEGAN CAVIER!! Extremely tasty - couldn't recommend more. The dishes are perfect together with their house wine (red) Go at dinner time to enjoy. I really love the atmosphere and everything there too! PS. Bathroom hand wash really has caught me. Don't forget to check it out!!

Google
I’m actually surprised the pasta tasted good even if it wasn’t real pasta. I could eat that pasta every day. The place was very chill and the service on point. I will definitely be back as soon as I come back to LA.

Google
I was impressed by the quality and flavour of the food here. Glad to visit a GF restaurant while in the LA area. Both dishes were surprisingly good. It was a bit on the pricey side but totally worth it. Thank you guys!

Yelp
Tried their pink sauce spaghetti dish with shrimp. It was delicious! Tried this place for lunch on a colleague's recommendation. They had interesting menu options and I tried a few of them. None of them disappointed. Quantities could be better for the prices, but they were still satisfying.

Yelp
Thanks to the wonderful service of Brandon I was able to sit and enjoy his recommendations with the entire place to myself. You have vegan options and carnivore as you pick your noodle, sauce and proteins. I'm trying to stick to a more plant based diet this year. I was amazed at how huge the portions are and so delicious! I had to take a to go bag home. I picked the impossible sausage option as a protein and it was so delicious and juicy! Spiced just right. You have got to check this place out for a low calorie option! The entire bowl came to $26 and I ended up taking half of it home for later it was very filling.

Yelp
Wow! A neighbourhood jem! Been around a year and my fiancé and I are just learned about them. And damn are we glad! Really cool look, friendly customer service from Danny. And the two menu items we bought we so delicious and flavorful. Got their BBQ Chicken pie and I couldn't get enough. And their pink sauce zucchini pasta, very good as well. Also got a Lavazza iced coffee which I always love haha They have a bottomless wine happy hour which we'll be back soon for haha in the meantime, I highly recommend for a delicious low calorie mean. I know my family and I will be back many more times to come.

Yelp
I am torn about this one. Everyone at this restaurant works so hard. Management as well as staff pour their soul into making this business into the best version of the restaurant that it can be. They are doing a great job too but I just did not like it. After the visit I found myself a bit puzzled about a reason to come back here. What type of customers was this restaurant created for? As a hole in the wall this is not the place where I would go for dinner. There is no breakfast menu and the prices are too high for a quick grab and go lunch kind of place. I apologize to the chefs if this strikes them wrong but, as a customer I found this restaurant as a premium version of Veggie Grill. In addition, there is no parking! My guess is that the place is targeted towards local businesses whose employees come here for lunch, the category that I don't fall into at all. Therefore I'm out. As for the things I tried, Zucchini Parmesan was pretty good but Truffle squash terrible. My wife barely touched it. Plus she was bitter that they forgot to add a couple of additional components we paid for. Finally, I urge you not to try their zucchini fries! It is not going to be what you expect. You will get a stack of greasy hay with Parmesan on top. I'm calling it a two stars place and adding one more for the employees being super attentive.

Yelp
I am being generous with the rating because the owner, Harri is phenomenal with his personable service and the way he's able to educate his existing and new guests. I loved learning about his inspo for his Why behind Impasta so congratulations on your success thus far personally and hospitality. My feedback on the food is not rated as high - 2.0 - 2.5 star Food taste: D+ Food portion: B+ Service: A+ - 5 star Ambiance: A The food was very filling but wasn't easy to consume and digest. I took it to go so I was able to add a truffle seasoning and black pepper for more flavor. I believe cooking healthy is a challenge but doesn't have to be. I know everyone enjoys consuming their food with limited seasoning but there are ways to pack more flavor and be healthy. I love the ambiance and overall vibe of the place alongside the story behind it which is why I supported but for my loyalty, would love to experience better flavoring and unfortunately I'm not willing to put up $25 each visit for that. I think with a few flavor shifts this isn't impastable Best of luck to this gem of a place and packaging is cute d well!

Yelp
The food tastes delicious but be warned, I got severe food poisoning after eating here last week. Not sure if it was the chicken or some component of the sauce, but it was definitely this restaurant that caused it as I had eaten nothing else all day. I threw up for 24 hours straight, it was terrible and I won't be returning. Sad because the food tastes good! In response to the owner: with all due respect you couldn't pay me enough to come back! I don't ever want to be that sick again. Someone else in these reviews also had food poisoning from here if you do a search. It was either the chicken or the sauce, not sure which, but if it was the chicken, "unlikely" does not equal impossible.

Guido K.

Yelp
Was invited for a business dinner. Loved their food, really did. Ambiance and the self-serve-offer obviously does not work so well as they were, politely said, "less than busy" on a Friday evening (we were the only guests ;-). Again, loved their food, but found it a bit pricey - but if you are really into this kind of food, you'll find it worth the money. Would I do a 30+ min detour just to dine here? Probabely not, as it just does not offer me the dining experience I would expect for this money. Sorry guys - ever been to "The Butcher's daughter on Abbott Kinney?

LalaNlove A.

Yelp
I work in the area and always walk by this place. I've tried cobb salad which was very good except dry chicken, but today a huge disappointment after getting over Fried very greasy oily pesto gnocchi with vegetarian sausage Everything was just very oily and overcooked Usually I am not very picky but I throw away $30 lunch to trash because I feel nauseous even looking at that

Yelp
I have not tried "veggie based" pasta aside from zucchini noodles, but I was pleasantly surprised by the food here! I decided to stop by for lunch after a doctors appointment, and I left satisfied and full. I ordered the "pink sauce" with side of ricotta cheese added on. It was sooo good. This particular plate was squash based. The sauce was amazing and I loved the ricotta cheese with it. The inside of the place is decorated nicely and everything was clean. I would love to come eat here again for a healthy lunch

R D.

Yelp
I'm so happy to say they have resolved the issue with the tiny portions as I absolutely love this place. Also tried the cauliflower pizza and it was awesome. If you want a healthy alternative to pasta or just some amazing food get the spaghetti squash with pink sauce. It's the best!

Yelp
NO REGRETTI SPAGHETTI Craving pasta without carbs or gluten? Impasta is your pasta imposter go-to spot. It was impossible to tell the Impossible Bolognese ($14.95) didn't use real meat, and the tomato sauce was fantastic! Ribbons of zucchini - Zoodles - stood in for the noodles. Yes, the portion was on the smaller side, but it was enough zucchini for me. My companion raved about her Pesto with Ricotta ($14.75), so I took a bite. I'm not a big gnocchi fan, but this cauliflower twist with ricotta cheese and pine nuts was lighter and better than the heavier real thing. Customize your entree by choosing your sauce and/or protein for an additional charge. This cute, little airy bright spot in the middle of the medical melange of buildings in Beverly Hills is a delightful healthy choice if you're willing to fork over a bit more. Check out this "impasta."

Yelp
I had the spaghetti squash with pomodoro sauce and added salmon. YUM! Ordered from UberEats. Will do again.

Yelp
Seating: Inside and Outdoor sidewalk seating. But great airflow inside. Atmosphere: Casual for take out or dine in. Order at the counter and waiter will bring you the food. Perfect place to grab a quick lunch. Food: gluten free, vegan, soy, carb free options all available. Mostly, pasta is made from a variety of vegetables, spaghetti squash features prominently. All the food is cooked on order. So you may have to wait a little The gnocchi takes 20 mins. The other pastas maybe 5-10 min. I had the really tasty Truffle Mushroom Spaghetti Squash pasta with fresh shrimp. It was really tasty and flavorful. Love it. Will be back.

Yelp
It's difficult to stand out in Beverly Hills. Not the case for Impasta, a small, bright colorful dining space filled with healthy, low-carb and gluten-free dishes. It's a tall order to create healthy Italian dishes without compromising the flavor. However, Impasta is able to pull it off with a lot of finesse, flavor, and uniqueness. No imposter here, folks. On our maiden voyage, my wife and I decided to try the Cauliflower Gnocchi Pesto, White Truffle Cauliflower Crust Pizza and Truffle Parmesan Zucchini Fries. The cauliflower gnocchi pesto was delicious. Toasted pinenuts and a flavorful pesto for a relatively simple dish that is quite tasty. The white truffle cauliflower crust pizza was my favorite. The soft boiled egg, truffle oil and sage leaf were fantastic. Recommend getting a large at $25 because it's six slices compared to the $12 two-slice option. Finally the Truffle Parmesan Fries were my least favorite of the three, but they were still enjoyable. Crispy zucchini shavings with a nice flavor of truffle oil and Parmesan cheese. Bring your napkin as it is messy. The food is great, healthy and there are a lot of different options to build your own pasta and choose your own ingredients. Being Beverly Hills, the place is a bit pricey, however compared to other restaurants in the area it is about average. Plus, you get the added benefits of doing something healthy for your body for a change. Parking is limited to street meters, and adjacent parking lots (no validation). Indoor and Outdoor seating available along with To-Go options.

Haley S.

Yelp
Having celiac, I was thrilled to find this gem! The whole restaurant is gluten free. The bbq pizza was our favorite. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Came here on a Monday night. Empty except for a few "to go" order pick ups. Lots of vegetable pastas. I had the cauliflower gnocchi with pesto and added mushrooms. The gnocchi was a bit dry and very firm. The pesto tasted OK but the dish needed the red pepper flakes and parmesan. My friend had the eggplant lasagna but didn't like it. My other friend had the cauliflower pizza with arugula and prosciutto and enjoyed it. Also had zucchini fries for the table that reminded me of shoe string potatos. They too needed parmesand and red pepper flakes for better flavor but we're nice and hot and crunchy. Took awhile to get the food considering we were the only ones in there but we weren't in a hurry. They had interesting non alcoholic drink options and mini wine bottles, one red and one white. Casual place. You order at counter and seat yourself. One friend loved it, one hated it, I was not thrilled or unthrilled. A little bland but healthy. Good options for vegetarians! Pick your noodles , pick a sauce and add toppings. Nice idea.

Daiisy D.

Yelp
Came here today. We asked for extra marinara sauce in a small salad dressing container (probably what 2 oz).Tom the waiter/server/cashier said it would be an additional cost of $5.50 ‼ I said are you kidding me and he smartly replied "well, I don't set the prices" What refined class Tom has. NOT! What about being fair and accommodating. I asked Tom if he was the owner and he said he was not. Obviously not! Hospitality does no suit suit Tom. No stars for him.

Tikio L.

Yelp
The zucchini fries are amazing. I came in for a pizza, but they weren't making pizzas or breadsticks.

Mona A.

Yelp
I was in the area & decided to try this place since it looked so cool and trendy. I don't eat gluten much these days and I always love trying places that offer Gluten Free. I love that everything here is gluten free. When you don't eat gluten it sucks not to be able to order dishes since they have gluten. They have so many vegan options but they also have meat and dairy as well. (Don't worry). Not only do they have pasta but they have pizza as well. Since I try to avoid dairy when possible I got a Vegan Truffle Mushroom dish. It was pretty filling and I would highly recommend it. The customer service is okay. The parking is difficult since it is technically at the end of Rodeo Drive. There is some street parking but it gives me anxiety so I parked in the parking structure that costs $2.50 per 15 minutes and maxes at 20 minutes. Honestly this place is so cool, very affordable for the value you get. I am a huge health nut so if you are like me and try to stay healthy while eating delicious food, you must try this place. I am actually looking forward to coming back in the future and trying other dishes.

Geoff J.

Yelp
Nice that they are entirely gluten free. Lots of vegan options too, if that's your thing. Food was ok, the gnocchi was kinda mushy but my sauce was really tasty. Mostly taking stars for value. I had gnocchi with a cheese sauce, no protein or anything, and paid for the extra portion of gnocchi because I'm a big guy and was hungry. $29 with tax and a 15% tip, no drink! Even though I paid for the extra portion, what came out would have been small even for a normal serving at most places. Regular portions must be tiny. And the machine defaults to asking for 15/20/22% tip, which seems kinda silly for counter service. Im happy to tip for service, but asking for 22% when I'm ordering at a counter and getting my own (warm) water seems a little much. I know it's Beverly hills and maybe I'm just not a Beverly Hills person, but it seemed kind of steep price wise. I did enjoy my food, but at the price I probably won't hurry back.

Ari R.

Yelp
It's pretty good but not without some issues. You can't call them to ask any questions and their Beverly Hills address is not really Googleable yet so the ordering process was annoying. The Four Cheese gnocchi was good but somehow monotonous. After a few bites, I had just had enough. It's hard to explain. The husband's squash noodles with Impossible Bolognese was great, however. The noodles were light and the sauce was crave-worthy. It's not cheap here but I would go once in a while for sure.

Liberty N.

Yelp
Comfort food meets health conscious decision- a yes for me! The flavors and textures were on point. I ordered the shirataki noodles with pomodoro sauce and added cheese. VERY good! I'll be back

Phattharaporn S.

Yelp
Worked great with all my allergies (gluten, soy, potato) but was really high priced. We paid $140 for 4 people with just entree and drink, so add-ons or sides. Portions are not that huge for the price. One person disliked their meal. I, however, loved mine and did not get sick so it was great to be able to order right from the menu for once. Suggestion for it to at most cost $20 a person putting us at $80+tax for 4 people.

Jessica C.

Yelp
It's very hard to make vegetables taste delicious, let alone turn them into something else like a pasta or a pizza crust and make it still edible, but this place does a good job of it. It's an order at the counter, get a number and they bring it to you spot. The service was good and friendly and the prices are completely reasonable. It's not a very big place but it is completely open and airy with tables inside and out, making it totally covid friendly. I had the truffle butternut squash pasta dish and it was ok. They had recommended some sort of scampi dish which sounded delicious so I'll probably try that next time.

Esther L.

Yelp
I'm so impressed! I tried some pizzas and pastas and I loved all of them. I especially loved the cauliflower gnocchi in pink sauce with burrata - SO GOOD. I love that they make everything in house from the cauliflower crust to the gnocchi. Portions seem small, but honestly really, really filling. I love that I'm full, but don't feel weighed down. The people who work here are so lovely too. Such a nice atmosphere, clean restaurant, simple, healthy, and awesome spot!

Suchita K.

Yelp
Love the concept, love the ambience, but not sure if I love the food. Came here with OTM and had the Pomodoro with zoodles. The sauce was quite flavorful- great tanginess and richness- but the zoodles were quite underwhelming. The lack of any carbs combined with the fairly small portion size made it basically impossible to feel full so I had to go back home and eat a whole other meal. I went kinda ham on the Parmesan (as you can see) but even that didn't fill me up. I do want to add that the staff was super friendly and the red pepper flakes had a great kick! Pomodoro (w zoodles) 7/10

Angel M.

Yelp
First time at this hidden gem!!! I loved it!!! The squash truffle mushroom dish was amazing! Wow! If you care about health and eating better without compromising the flavors - give this gem a try! The staff was super helpful and friendly! I will be back.

Tatiana N.

Yelp
We ordered at the little shop which was so cute. I found the Zucchini pomodoro to be simple but impressive. Maybe because I never quite mastered making a home made doodle myself-always too soggy or under cooked-I found the "al dente" of it to be exactly right and the sauce so flavorful, like it was made with amazing tomatoes. It is on the little pricier side and it's hard to conceive you are paying almost $15 for something that really can just feel like a snack, but it tastes good and if you have some "expendable funds" then go for it. I would return

Shiva E.

Yelp
Hands down the best low-carb restaurant I have ever been to. You will not believe that their pastas are low-carb and made from vegetables. Must try the Zoodles, Bolognese, and especially the hearts of palm pasta with truffle (my favorite). You will be hooked. Starting next week they are opening up for dine-in as well.

Dan D.

Yelp
Is everyone who reviewed this place with a 4 star or better on crazy pills? The food is kiiinda terrible. The nice part of the food was that there is no potential for over eating. You're basically just wanting to fill up enough to push it away the moment you start. I just ate a bowl of flavorless, soggy, cardboard bolognese noodles. Kids had a "red sauce pasta" and pizza and my partner ordered the gnocchi. Neither my partner or kids thought any of the dishes were good due to lack of flavor and odd mouth feel. All the 'zoodles' were undercooked and the food was just flat out gnarly. I'd say if you're pressured to eat here, get the gnocchi? No clear winners here. The boxed water was tasty though!

Ariel M.

Yelp
I'm giving this place two stars only because I like the bright yellow bag it came in. So my coworker and I ordered the Vegan Brown Butter Sage hearts of palm pasta, sounded good. We had high hopes as we looked at the menu and decided to share. This was such a disappointment. The serving was not even enough for one and the pasta was ULTRA Salty There was nothing brown butter Sage about this dish at all. I didn't even finish it because I couldn't bare the salt intake. Just disappointed for having such high hopes for this place.

Yelp
The Romesco (14) is incredible! As is #2, the vodka reduction, cream, tomatoes and spaghetti squash are amazing, especially if you get a topping. All the food is gluten-free and it's incredibly delicious and healthy. The Zucchini shoestring fries are really good and so is the gluten free garlic bread. Numbers 1 and 3 are also yummy; you really can't go wrong.

Rady O.

Yelp
Not much truffle in the white truffle pizza! When I complained they told me that they have changed the recipe and instead of shaving white truffle on top of the pizza now is just truffle oil. One thing that hasn't change though is the high price. I payed $31 for a small pizza which I thought was pretty outrageous.

Tiffany G.

Yelp
Very tasty and healthy. Great options for all! Highly recommend each of the different types of pasta noodles! Brandon was a great help, super sweet! Definitely coming back to try the other sauces!

Brittany N.

Yelp
Impasta used to be one of my favorite restaurants when it first opened. I had the best experiences with the food. However, the last 2 times I ordered the zoodles with bolognase and I was SO disappointed. The dish was not only EXTREMELY watery but the sauce and dish had absolutely zero flavor. I'm really sad they lost the secret touch. I won't be ordering from here anymore.

Nicole W.

Yelp
If you're paleo, be sure to ask for the ingredients of everything before you order. I supported this place for YEARS under the belief that everything was paleo/grain free because that's how they market themselves. This is FALSE ADVERTISING! A number of their items have rice flour or some type of grain: the gnocchi, pizza crust, zucchini fries, garlic bread, etc. The last time I went in, something told me to ask, as they had new items on the menu. When I told the server I was under the impression they were a paleo establishment, she responded to me as if I was an idiot, "Of course it has grains, it's bread!" Wtf?!?! There are a number of grain free possibilities for bread and pasta. Excuse the f*CK out of me for believing this establishment was transparent about their ingredients. They don't imply anywhere their ingredients contain grains. I have colitis, as I'm sure many of their existing clientele much suffer from medical conditions that inform their dietary requirements. Why else would one seek out a restaurant that presents as though they adhere to such specific restrictions?!?!?! Seriously, never coming here again. Clearly, they don't care about misguiding folks at the risk of getting them sick.

Sheila V.

Yelp
if you want bland and raw food, order here. also, you have to purchase utensils and when we did, they didn't even give them to us. also never order the side of burata because they don't give you more than one tiny bite. Just look at the picture. also their pink sauce is not the pink vodka sauce they advertise, it is tomato basil puree. Oh and don't pay the extra $6 for a larger portion because they are THE SAME SIZE. probably just get one extra bite for the larger portion. insane how horrible these people are for ripping customers off. I worked in many italian restaurants and let me tell you this place is a joke. so overall, completely raw and cold food that was false advertised and people are being fooled by this place.

Aidin A.

Yelp
Must go. Delicious meal. I've got #12 & it was amazing. Truffle lovers, get #8 Thank you

Daph D.

Yelp
I have been searching for a low/no carb and high protein restaurant and I think I've found it! I walked in to order take out. The staff was so nice and walked me through how to order, and added what her favs are. I ended up getting a Zoodles Bolognese with sausage and it was super delicious! So fresh and very satisfying. Even their takeout bag was so cute and high quality. I can't wait for them to open their dine in section. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes!

Tom R.

Yelp
In the two nights I ate here I had the Margarita Pizza, Impossible Bolognese, Romesco and Garlic bread. All were delicious! However the Romesco is a winner! All dishes are 100% safe for people with celiac but more importantly the food will keep all members in your group happy. Can't miss if you are in the area.

Kathy T.

Yelp
This review is strictly due to the amazing personality and service that Kat provided to myself and gf today. We were nervous for the doctor's appointment and there were major delays, so we decided to check out Impasta! Let me tell you, Kat greeted us with enthusiasm and she guided us through the menu items since it was our first time. Everything came out as expected and more! Highly recommend this spot for lunch for all the locals in the area. Thank you Kat!

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Highly recommend this restaurant. Pizza is so good we started to feel guilty while eating it. Two pizzas fed and satisfied 4 adult people. Made with a cauliflower crust, crunchy and juicy and filling. . This is a perfect solution for our health. No more regular bread for us. We will try the impasta next until we try all the goodies from the menu.

Yelp
B - for the quality/taste of the food A+ - for the it being an entirely gluten free menu and made from fresh veggies (safe for celiacs) D+ for the total price of the food. The price did not match the quality Overall, the aesthetic of this place is cute, but the food is mediocre in reference to the price you are paying.

Yelp
Went here the other night for dinner. Had heard great things about it. As someone who tries to be gluten free - having an all gluten free restaurant option is so exciting! My friend and I split everything we ordered. First we had the truffle Parmesan fries. They were very crunchy, not sure I'd ever order again because the whole time I was wishing they were normal fries. The little dip it came with was really good though. Next we had the pink sauce pasta. 10/10 recommend the pink sauce. It was our favorite thing we had. The sauce was so flavorful!!! The last thing we ordered was the white truffle pizza. The pizza overall was alright. I think if the crust was maybe a little crispier I would have liked it more. It just wasn't our favorite. I would definitely try again and order other things just to see they hype about it.

Yelp
First time at Impasta Beverly Hills. DONT EVER BOTHER GOING THERE. It took 30 minutes to get the take out meal and no one else was in the shop.... I had to ask where my meal was? AND... the $15.75 meal was the size of my hand...WT? The meal was way too oily...yucky .. NEVER AGAIN
