Imperial Ballroom Dance Studio

The Hustle events on Wednesdays are really good, led by Sarah and Gil. The Hustle dance community really shows up and supports this event and my wife and I come here often. It's cold in the winter and hot in the summer, my only critique. Other than that, great place, great people, and a great party, indeed. I highly recommend it.

Good social and competitive dance lessons. The social ballroom dance party on Sunday at 2pm are good for practising. Friendly owner managed studio

Need better bathroom

This is a nice space for dance events. The floor is smooth, and the lights provide a nice ambience. Plus, it's on top of a dim sum restaurant, so if you work up an appetite, you can go immediately downstairs to refuel before coming back up to cut up the rug(er, lovely, hardwood floor) again!

I was there for the Billy Marti hustle lesson on Wednesday Hustle night. He says on his page that he makes his home at Imperial Ballroom. He is a good instructor mostly and was well organized. He groups people though at the end in categories 1, 2, and 3. He changed me from a 2 which happened randomly to a 3. My partner at the time asked me all concerned if he was a 3 also. Group 3 was last and seemed to be the least strongest but who knows. So now I have a complex thinking I am the worst. Thanks Billy! In addition, Imperial Ballroom or whoever video tapes these lessons so you will be all over the internet afterwards whether you like it or not. I am on Instagram more times in a minute segment than I care to count. So apparently I was designated Group 1 for that. Do I get paid for that video? In general though this dance space is OK and has fun lighting for social dancing. However, it is on a divey level and not considered upscale if you are renting. Also bathrooms are still filthy as first reviewer wrote so not an improvement 5 years later as owner is leading to believe in that response.

Welcoming and friendly venue. We hung out at their tea and dance social to watch and signed up for our first waltz class. Didn't dance much this time as everyone is an expert at the social Maybe next time after some dance classes. Can't relate to the previous negative review as the venue was clean and air conditioning was fine. Will return again.

Imperial Ballroom is an AMAZING dance studio in Scottsdale. The co-owners, Inna Berlizyeva and Artem Plakhotnyi, and all the other dance instructors there are warm, welcoming professionals who will help you learn to dance and/or take it a step (or two) further! I live in Tucson and cannot wait to dance in their new studio, which is even larger and more beautiful than their last space. Great community. Great fun. Don't miss out.

My wife surprised me with 10 private Latin dance lessons at this studio through ProDancing NYC and I couldn't be more pleased with our instructor. From our first lesson, Levan made the task of learning to dance salsa and bachata less intimidating. He presents information in a way that is simple, easy to grasp, and sequences topics in a way that quickly had us feeling confident and looking great on the dance floor. His excellence and commitment to our learning process encouraged us to always do our best and get the most out of each session. I would recommend Levan of ProDancing NYCwithout hesitation to anyone wanting to learn to dance.

Love this spot!! My fiancé and I are taking lessons with Levan from ProDancing NYC and this studio is awesome!!! It's a large dance floor, with plenty of mirrors on the walls. It's always super clean and even if others are dancing, there's plenty of room for us to practice!!

It's a little hard to find but the place itself is very welcoming, I never danced before but it was a fun experience, lessons aren't too pricey compared to other studios I found..

The dancers here are incredibly talented, and there's a sense of community that I really haven't seen from any other dance studio. The owners and fun and lively, and my children are very happy to take classes here.

amazing would give 10/5 if i could, this place after going for 2 weeks loosened my joints, improved my flexibility, and increased my stability for me, go to this place and i guarantee benefits. owners are nice and hospitable.

Filthy environment, especially the bathrooms. Ventilation is very poor. Insufficient Air Conditioning systems for a big place and feel suffocate if hosting an event or party. They really need to upgrade the Air Conditioning and Fans system.

The environment is great! So spacious.The teachers are social and the owners are very helpful.
