Great place to try out mexican foods from different backgrounds there's plenty of vendors to try out i was sampling alot of the drinks lol I had pastor tacos and Mexican style sushi 🍣🔥 too freaking good ima need to back to try out the other stands they have freaky desserts too haha

Best night market in Los Angeles hands down. The food and drinks were amazing. If you guys want food, drinks, snacks, candies, desserts and much more, you have to check out ave 26 on imperial night market.

It was pretty small, same food stands. I’m not from LA area, but 2 of the vendors were really rude towards my family. I wouldn’t go back. Thank you to the lady who sells candles, she made us feel welcome :) @ynldivine on IG ✨

I went there for the first time. I parked on the street, walked in and stopped at a few booths. Drank juices, ate waffles , had Dubai chocolate and bought my children items they have been asking for such as thr mizki, or those new things hanging on phones. I'm only saying this because I purchase one for 15 else where and got it there for 5. That's a deal to me. Thank you for reading.

There are some good food options here (we had some pretty good fish and shrimp tacos at El Cachanella), but parking is not great and a third of the vendors are selling dumb Tijuana tourist junk (like fake velvet paintings of Scarface and genital shaped water bottles). So, unfortunately it's not recommended for families, there are pictures of male and female parts up on posters (because they sell deserts in the shape of them as well as toys and coffee cups, etc.) and pictures of gangsters and drug lords...so...judge whether you want your kid seeing that.... The actual market is set up in an alleyway with old decommissioned train tracks in the middle so if you don't look at your feet you'll trip...a lot. This is not someplace to take someone in a wheelchair or on crutches. That said, if you're already in the area (as we were) on a Saturday and you're hungry this might be your best bet to get some good tacos or horchata or fresh queso, etc. The folks at El Cachanella were very nice and walked us through the menu, set us up with ample limes and hot sauce. The lady at the horchata stand (further back) was.... pretty annoyed, not sure why, maybe was just having a bad day. But the drinks were all good. Also a good thing is that lots of vendors were giving out samples so you can decide what you want.

I totally recommend trying both the pastas from pastas el Chino and the delicious seafood from Tacos y mariscos el Cachanilla. Prices are very affordable and there's always something new to try. Everyone is friendly and it's family safe . I've been going almost every weekend and I cant have enough, totally recommend!

This place was a lot of fun, and the food was delicious. Seriously - to this day, I don't think I've ever had a better churro than the ones they sold 10 for $10 at this night market! The people were generally friendly, and it was a cool vibe for sure. The only issue I had was that sometimes the pricing was unclear, and our group suspected that the prices changed at one of the booths depending on the customer rather than on the item ordered, which we were kind of bummed out about. I don't know this 100% for sure, so I'm still going to give 5-stars, but definitely try to be observant if that sort of thing might bother you.

I have been here twice, and it is always such a fun experience. The food is always delicious and completely affordable. The food vendors are always so nice and help you order if you are not sure what to get. There is music playing, great food, and just an overall fun unique thing to do in Los Angeles. If you like street food and street vendors, you need to RUN here! The only thing I wish they had more of was bathrooms, I think they have about two Porta potty's. And more places to sit and eat. Every time I've been we are always able to find a little table, but it is hard to come across. Overall, 10 out of 10 would recommend. This is such a fun place to get food especially if you are an adventurous eater. Even if you are not, they have some pepperoni pizza you can grab as well

Forgive me, Yelp, for I have sinned. I DIDN'T TAKE ANY PICTURES!!! This popular night market is located in Downtown L.A. at the intersection of 15th St. and Imperial Ave. It goes the length of an alley and the first thing we smelled was a BBQ stand next to the entrance. This night market has it all! Tacos, tamales, aguas frescas, champurrado (especially good on a cold night!!!), jewelry vendors, plants, CBD goods, ice cream, tlayudas (a Oaxacan dish that is REALLY good!!!), and yes, Mexican sushi! I don't know what made the sushi Mexican. We happened to be there on the night that YouTuber MexiPapa Adventures was there streaming. He's known for going to different food joints and showcasing their food. I will definitely be back!!!

saw this lil hidden gem from tiktok and decided to check em out when I was in town. According to yelpers this was the location but when your driving up to it, its a bit sketch as its in a warehouse district. FYI do not pay for parking on their designated streets. Find any parking on the streets. So from the videos and pictures I was expecting a huge selection of vendors anywhere from 50-100, but it ended up being just shy of 20 or less vendors. We were able to walk from one side to the other within a few minutes. While we were there, we picked up the fresa waters and a papusa. We enjoyed them there and left back home. Food and fresa was BOMB but I just wish there were more vendor to spice it up a lil bit more. It was all hype for me but maybe they will change and get more foot traffic and vendors at a later time. Can't knock it until u try them. Come and check em out for yourself. I prolly will not be returning tho...

Arrive early to secure your spot because this night market gets popular as the night goes on. They had a variety of food, desserts, and snacks to satisfy any cravings plus a lot of small trinkets from small businesses. I stopped by for the food of course. I sampled some sushi from Sushi El Mexicano, drinks from Michelaguas y Nieves de Garrafa, burgers from Juan's Burgers, and waffles from Naughtyland Waffles (formerly known as Weeny Waffles). I highly recommend stopping by and will definitely come back because one trip is not enough to try out everything I wanted.

Ave 26 On Imperial is a weekly LA street food night market that specially focuses on authentic Mexican food. The original Ave 26/Artesian Night Market in Lincoln Heights was shutdown by the city in August 2021. This Ave 26 On Imperial is one of the two new major offshoots for the original market (the other one is named Avenue 26 Family Night Market in Pico Rivera Sports Arena). [Hours]: Friday from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM and Sat & Sun from 5 PM to 10:30 PM. [Parking]: There's a safe designated parking lot (at the intersection of Imperial St & E 15 St) right in front of the market entrance. The parking rate was $8 flat, but I was willing to pay mainly because of security as the lot got few people constantly taking payments and watching over the lot. Limited free street parking spots are available at Imperial St & E 11 St, but I wouldn't feel super comfortable walking in this part of the town after dark. [Vendors]: Admission is free. I was surprised to see number of food vendors at this market (between 50 - 100 vendors with 75% food vendors). Unlike 626 Night Market in Arcadia which mostly caters to Asian cuisine, you'll find some of the most diverse and authenticate Mexican food in one spot without having to drive around East LA. Heck there were so many regional Mexican food I never heard of that I was quite exciting to see. The pasty tasted slightly sweet with crispy exterior crust and pancake like texture on the inside. TJ style taco from Taqueria Los Primos TJ ($3): Honestly both taco and sauce tasted just alright. *** Other than having communication issues (not everyone at vendors understood English so I had to skip few vendors due to my lack of understanding on Spanish) and paid $8 secured parking, this is still a great night market to experience authentic Mexican food (definitely not for lack of food options). Personally I have a slight preference on El Gato Night Market in Westlake South near Koreatown due to (1) less communication issues and (2) tastier food. WIth that being said, I can easily see myself re-visiting here and trying few other food vendors here.

Wanted to try different Mexican foods so we went here. Right when u walk in its a ally full of vendors. We went straight to the taco spot on the right, right when u first walk in. Bomb tacos!! I was also looking for rolled crunchy tacos and found a place i think called alexa or something, it looked super good but hair was in the togo box ( look at pic ) i didnt even notice until i posted it on social media and someone said there was hair lol. We also tried the agua frescas we got strawberry horchata and it was bomb!!! Then tried the birria tacos, it was alright.

Place was ok at best. Over hyped for sure. Most of the vendors are cash only. Some take Zelle which helps but all vendors are way over priced. We tried the Chinese skewers. You pay $10 for three small skewers that were nearly tasteless. It has a light Teri glaze. When I realized I could get 5 times the amount of chicken and rice and a side salad for that price. I realized I got taken. We tried the funnel cakes. No taste. Even with banana and strawberries. The tacos in the back were nervy. (Asada) The tacos pastor were really good. A little too much guacamole but it worked. Aguas frescas were decent. And we ended with platanos. Those were real good. I guess we came and maybe expected too much. I would recommend to go once. But that's it. Nothing special here. Sorry to disappoint...

If you are a foodie you definitely have to check out this place. They have so much authentic Hispanic food options. From tacos to pupusas they have it all. They have a variety of snacks and deserts as well. It's truly is a gem.Support small business and make it out when you get a chance. Parking nearby is $10 for the duration of your stay. I wish I couldve tried more things but I will definitely be back.

Came to check this place out on imperial and 11th st went around a couple times and decided to pay $10 for parking to beat out all the other people waiting for parking... lines were okay but as I was leaving with my tacos the lines were insane!! So glad I found parking on Mateo and 11th! Shout out to the security guard walking around the parking lot made me feel safe while I ate in my car. Will update with food pics when I come back...everything was sooo good I forgot to take pics of my actual food, churros, and mini pancakes Update!! Took pics this time Parking still $10 on 11th st extra lit and gated Another update! Took more pics!! I love coming to this place it's super chill. I parked on 11th st ($10) avoiding traffic from 15th st... IMO the beginning in the market is better from 11th st just cause they have two taco stands from the same merchant and this side I feel like has less of a line most of the time. Anyway! Got my usual churros price went from $8 to $9 but understandably due to gas prices now a days. Tacos are each $3. The horchata in the normal cup is $7 and $10 in a fancy little barrel looking cup. You can get it prepared for an additional $3.

Ave 26 Night Market in Lincoln Heights is an up and coming hot spot thanks to some young people on Tik Tok as well as an article about the market in the LA Times. It is located on Avenue 26 and Humboldt Street and is open every night except Sundays starting at 5pm. Parking is as hard as finding a needle in a haystack, so it's a good idea to get dropped off. Also there are no tables or chairs or areas designated for eating. Some people (especially ones with kids) bring foldable chairs and make their own spot. One can find anything from street tacos to elote to bionicos to agua fresca to balloons for the kids to handmade arts and crafts. You can also buy fresh cut flowers if you are on a date. (Note: Many of the vendors only accept cash.) This is definitely a spot worth checking out if you are in the area. You can't go wrong with delicious food, music, and endless vendors!

It's a night market ! It's fun if u want it to be and annoying if your not in the mood . Supporting the vendors , enjoying the night and looking around and eating is the best thing to do . So yes GO guys

Best place to get queso birria tacos but besides that the vendors there are so nice and all the food there is fresh, clean and affordable. If theres something in particular that you want you have to get there early and the service is perfect some of the vendors when there busy give you a buzzer so that you can walk around and as well as advise you when you're food is ready. This place is amazing because they do all three cash, Zelle, card and other services as well.

This market offers a variety! From food, desserts, clothing, toys, plants, etc. Some of my favorites were definitely the churros, mini pancakes, spiraled potato, and a traditional Oaxacan meal called "Tlayuda". The salsa was just right and I paired it with the Oaxacan hochata! Super tasty. Will definitely return to this market! 10/10

I went in a Friday night. I got really lucky with parking. Easy parking for me. Lots of parking across the street for 10.00. Lots of good vendors. I had taco my wife had pupusas my son a hot Cheetos cheese stick. They even had a ATM when I went. Lots of food vendors to many to list. Also saw silver and croc charms. I just posted a video on you tube because . I saw another yelper say this place was Dark and Stetcky I would kindly disagreed. YouTube viedo under cashflowfam ave 26.

This place was so cool it is located in a very sketchy area lots of less unfortunate people around in tents neighborhood really looks run down BUT I recommend it it wasn't so bad where we parked we parked by a museum type building under lighting. Of course people come for the food and it gets packed with people and the food is delicious!!! I would recommend it ! I forgot to include the prices are incredible !!

Not an ideal night market spot if your not local and Mexican. This area is dark and industrial and not for the faint at heart visitor. Your family will not feel safe parking around these parts. It's ultimately not a market per say, but more of a Mexican food court of food and drinks. Once inside the market area I'm sure the lighting helps free up some of the uncertainty of your surroundings but outside it looks dark and unwelcoming to anyone other than a local patron. Smells wonderful as you pass by but trust me, even as a Mexican family ourselves from the bay area did not want to step foot out of our vehicles.

Nope, not worth it risking your life coming here. Nobody mentions how dangerous it is to walk where there's railroad tracks, pot holes and uneven road. More than once I almost twisted my ankle. Secondly, overpriced...churros we're boring, ezquite lacked flavor, quesatacos were ok but consommé lacked flavor. It gets very crowded and there's too many strollers I don't know how they managed to get around with all the potholes. Lots of ppl smoking weed. It is in a bad area so don't come alone. The crowd, not my vibe....

Everything was amazing! The tacos towards the end are fire!!! The fried banana and churros are super yummy.

Do yourself a favor and get there an hour early to get great parking and avoid the lines because it gets BUSY BUSY haha. Also try the tacos, they are the best tacos I've ever had in my life. This place is great to try all different kinds of food. Take cash because mostly all vendors only take cash. Worth a try for sure!!

parking isnt a problem if you come early my issue is the walkway. its really uneven! even w sneakers i was wobbly! the portions are big w food. i think drinks could have been a bit bigger. then again i ate a shit ton of hot sauce! the weenie waffle lady is hilarious she gets my vote n tip just cuz shes awesome! i would really appreciate prices being posted. oh and more music! otherwise all the vendors we went too were nice. the foods were ok. but nothing amazeballs

Amazing place. Delicious food. Pupusas, birria quetacos, esquite, baby cakess, palomas, miches, cucumber juice, sooo yummy carnival of mucha comida. Also variety of wares like Mexican candy, plants, toys. Fun music and mariachi guy Rafa serenading atop his RV complete with disco ball. Be patient with street parking. You can Venmo or zelle to pay. Admission free.

I was really looking forward to this since I saw the videos on tik tok. We ordered a gordita de papa con chorizo, chicken enchiladas, licuado en bolsita, pozole and a tamal. The food was delicious and authentic. Thankfully we went on a day(Sunday 10pm) that wasn't too crowded. However, the surrounding area was incredibly sketchy and dark. Parking that day was $5 but we decided to park on the streets(free) just a block after the market. We left our car in a dark alley and felt uneasy about it so we went back and looked for a better area still pretty close to the market. Once in the market, we felt safe and had a good time. I would recommend not going as late esp if you have kids. I'd def go back but not late at night when it's dark.

Great food, great atmosphere, food is reasonably priced. But snack stands and toys way overpriced. Had birria ramen, tacos, aqua fresca, churros, all great. Wish they had something like this in NorCal.

Decent flavors and options but a lot of places didn't meet expectations. Since a lot of the stands were home made food the flavors weren't quite there but still decent. Fair for the price

My family took me out to this market place and I loved it , how many food vendors they had , I saw pasta vendors , Salvadoran vendors, and of course your taco vendors , and pizza vendors , they also had snack and desserts bars . they also had jewelry vendors and for my weed lovers some folks were selling bongs and pipes and other essentials
