Imperial Treasure Fine Chinese Cuisine (Crowne Plaza)

Lava custard bun is a hidden gem! Brought my friend from Taiwan to try out the authentic Cantonese cuisine at 御寶軒. An absolutely satisfaction to us. Especially the suckling pig stuffed with glutinous rice. The suckling pig was super crispy and crunchy! Sticky rice was flavourful and chewy. Highly recommend to preorder before you go. And we ordered lava custard bun as our dessert. THIS IS SUCH A HIDDEN GEM. The bun was steamy hot, freshly steamed and presented to us. The custard was silky smooth, melted in my mouth. The middle part is the lava salted egg-yolk filling, the savoury flavour combines with the sweet flavour of the custard. Perfect dessert to end the night.

We love the nappa 濃雞湯浸津白, preserved fish chicken fried rice鹹魚雞粒炒飯 . May was unfriendly in the beginning when I asked for a cup for my herbal medicine. Afterwards, she was not as defensive.

Quite a good dim sum 🥟 but quality is different vs the same I tried in Shanghai. The siew mai is horrible, looks like melting, overcooked?? Services could do more with a smile in general, smile and your customers will be happy too 😊

Authentic Cantonese cuisine, royalty like service from the wait staff, the golden squid and prawns are not to be missed, the bbq pork was well balanced with perfect lean and fat ratio, texture was tender, and not too chewy. Excellent fine out for seafood lovers with ample choices of fresh fishes and seafood. Not too crowded during the Covid period. What a hidden gem. Being a Michelin star restaurant, pricing is within expectation.

Opened 4 months ago. Singaporean F&B group and chef is also from Singapore. Some dishes are innovative. Worth to try the 糯米乳豬 and 白灼豬膶。Their valet parking is always full. Highly recommend to go there by tram and MTR.

Here for lunch. Try several dim sum and I love the crispy shrimp paste rice roll, the roll is extra smooth and paper thin! We also order the signature dishes, chicken legs in abalone sauce, suckling pig with sticky rice, and highly rated pepper crab 🦀. Strong flavour in 100% ‘wok hei’, good enough to impress you.

Think the google location is wrong. It’s at the 2F of crown plaza hotel. Food is good but not cheap. Did sum may have better value. However if you consider Guo fu lou and other Michelin started restaurants it’s not expensive

Tried their trademark suckling pig glutinous rice and wasn’t impressed at all; esp given the price. Quality is above average and service is perfunctory but given the exorbitant prices, you can get better food at a fraction of the price. A hard pass unless trying to impress friends or in-laws with how much money you can spend on a meal.

First time in Hong Kong! I was on a business trip so my colleagues from our Hong Kong site decided to take us to this very expensive high class restaurant which was down the street from our office and pretty much walking distance from The Langham where we stayed. My impression of the place was wow this is inside a mall? It has a whole level to itself! It's legit! Never seen anything like it. The ambience was very nice. Everyone was so hospitable and served you like royalty. The food. I honestly forgot what my co workers ordered!!! Ugh. And I never got to take a picture of it because it was just so overwhelming. It was very good tho. Some of it was not something I'd eat so I'd pass on it. Very authentic Chinese food. I rated it a 5 because service was great and food was also very good!

Wonderful new Chinese restaurant for dim sum. The steamed shrimp dumplings we're made to perfection. The steamed buns were fresh and fluffy. The fish was steamed to perfection, and the roast pork crispy on the outside, filled with steamed glutinous rice. Wonderful attentive service and a beautiful dining room. Priceless addition to the Crown Plaza hotel.

Maybe I'm not used to Hong Kong dim sum, but when compared to Vancouver I thought it was excellent. Beautiful restaurant with excellent service, great location. All the dim sum was cooked perfectly. I was very happy here.
