Imperial Treasure Fine Chinese Cuisine (Crowne Plaza)

I absolutely enjoyed my meal at this restaurant. My wife ordered fried shrimp dumplings that were incredible. I followed with steamed shrimp and pork dumplings and then flat noodles with prawns and egg gravy. They also served tea which paired well with the meal. Truly outstanding. The staff were personable and efficient...you must stop by.

Hey they do speciality suckling pork with sticky rice which was actually delicious. Something I’ve never had before or seen as a dish. Maybe it’s popular in Hong Kong but first time I saw it. The dim sum and everything else was very standard stock standard decent. The suckling pig sticky rice was probably the most stand out thing. Everything else was good yum cha fine dining style.

Very disappointed with the food this time. We used to come here quite a while ago and the food was great, but the quality has really gone downhill. The prawn dumplings ($6x for 4) were no longer juicy or special — they used to be full of flavour with plump, juicy prawns. The BBQ pork ($198) was dry inside, which was quite disappointing for that price. The worst was the beef shank dishes . I understand it’s meant to be served cold, but the middle was still frozen when it came out — that’s really unacceptable. At first, the waiter tried to explain that it’s a cold dish. Later he realised the issue, and I assume they prepared a new one and warmed it up with some sauce… but it ended up being warm. If it’s meant to be cold, it shouldn’t be frozen in the centre — and reheating it defeats the purpose 😅 For nearly $800 for two people, we left feeling unsatisfied — and both of us even had a slight upset stomach the next day. The only positive was the service, which was fine. Unfortunately, with the current pricing and food quality, I don’t think we’ll be returning.

Dim sum is decent to above average. The steamed rice shrimp roll with the HK donut inside and the crispy suckling pig with glutinous rice are stand outs. Leave room for the Sesame balls with custard at the end! Restaurant and in particular restrooms need some renovation

Was invited here for lunch, and my host pre-ordered the fish head and suckling pig skin with Glutinous rice roll. The desserts are also very delicate.

High quality Chinese restaurant and one of the best for roasted suckling pig. The skin is crispy with hardly any fat. The dim sum range is excellent too!

Good quality dimsum spot, a bit more on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. Perfect for special occasions or for introducing tourists/visitors to HK dimsum

Lava custard bun is a hidden gem! Brought my friend from Taiwan to try out the authentic Cantonese cuisine at 御寶軒. An absolutely satisfaction to us. Especially the suckling pig stuffed with glutinous rice. The suckling pig was super crispy and crunchy! Sticky rice was flavourful and chewy. Highly recommend to preorder before you go. And we ordered lava custard bun as our dessert. THIS IS SUCH A HIDDEN GEM. The bun was steamy hot, freshly steamed and presented to us. The custard was silky smooth, melted in my mouth. The middle part is the lava salted egg-yolk filling, the savoury flavour combines with the sweet flavour of the custard. Perfect dessert to end the night.

First time in Hong Kong! I was on a business trip so my colleagues from our Hong Kong site decided to take us to this very expensive high class restaurant which was down the street from our office and pretty much walking distance from The Langham where we stayed. My impression of the place was wow this is inside a mall? It has a whole level to itself! It's legit! Never seen anything like it. The ambience was very nice. Everyone was so hospitable and served you like royalty. The food. I honestly forgot what my co workers ordered!!! Ugh. And I never got to take a picture of it because it was just so overwhelming. It was very good tho. Some of it was not something I'd eat so I'd pass on it. Very authentic Chinese food. I rated it a 5 because service was great and food was also very good!

Wonderful new Chinese restaurant for dim sum. The steamed shrimp dumplings we're made to perfection. The steamed buns were fresh and fluffy. The fish was steamed to perfection, and the roast pork crispy on the outside, filled with steamed glutinous rice. Wonderful attentive service and a beautiful dining room. Priceless addition to the Crown Plaza hotel.

Maybe I'm not used to Hong Kong dim sum, but when compared to Vancouver I thought it was excellent. Beautiful restaurant with excellent service, great location. All the dim sum was cooked perfectly. I was very happy here.
