Imprevisto is an absolute hidden gem in Barcelona that deserves far more recognition than just being listed as a Fork on the Michelin guide — I would argue it’s worthy of a star. The restaurant is very intimate, seating no more than 25 people, so reservations are essential.
We enjoyed the 10-course tasting menu, which was not only extremely reasonably priced but also perfectly curated. Every dish — from the vegetarian courses to fish, chicken, and beef — was executed with precision, creativity, and balance. Each plate felt thoughtful and elevated without being pretentious.
The sommelier was incredibly helpful in choosing a wine that paired seamlessly across the entire menu, and the service throughout the evening was flawless. Despite the meal spanning nearly three hours, the pacing was impeccable — never rushed, never dragging, just perfectly orchestrated.
Imprevisto offers the kind of dining experience that stays with you long after you leave. Without hesitation, I would return in the future and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable culinary experience in Barcelona.
