In-N-Out Burger

I truly enjoyed my visits to this In-N-Out Burger location—both on the way to Las Vegas and on the return trip. With a maximum capacity of over 170 seats, the place felt like it was operating at full capacity during both visits, yet the staff managed the bustling crowd with impressive professionalism and efficiency. Despite how busy it was, the service remained friendly and organized, and every order was prepared just right. As always, the taste of In-N-Out never disappoints—fresh, flavorful, and consistently satisfying. I thoroughly enjoyed both of my meals here. It’s amazing how this chain continues to deliver quality and reliability, even at its busiest.

First time to eat at this chain of restaurants. I have always heard good things, but being from Texas we don't have this. The ordering was simple and easy. The food was served timely and was delicious. I felt I hadn't had a good burger like that in a hot minute. Now I normally put salt on my fries when I go out, these fries did not need them. They were perfect. The pricing of the food was reasonable. For our family of 5. We got 3 double meat burgers, 1 cheese burger, 1 hamburger, 3 shakes and 2 drinks. Cost us around 64 dollars. We Go to McDonalds that would cost us well over that. Cons the bathroom was filthy. There was blood on the floor and that edge of the toilet. Would I eat at another in-n-out joint totally!!! Well worth it.

Food is good and staff is super nice. They work really hard. I appreciate the limited menu choices—they make a few items only but they do it well. The restaurant is kept clean and has a retro vibe which is fun.

stopped in for lunch on our drive from vegas to LA on a saturday afternoon. the place was packed but service was fast and friendly. ordered the cheeseburgers w/ grilled onions, animal style fries and strawberry/chocolate/neopolitan shakes. they have coloring stuff for kids but no kids meals, which is a bit odd. a bit of wait for the food but looking into the kitchen, everyone is working hard and efficiently so you can’t really fault them. burgers are one of the best fast food chain restaurant burgers i’ve tried but was really disappointed with the fries, which were hard and flavorless. shakes were good. restaurant itself has a retro vibe which was cute, and was kept clean with staff coming to help clear trays the moment we stood up to leave.

A nice stop while journey between LA and Nevada. Food is good, burger buns are soft, and patty is tasty. Alot of outlet stores within the vicinity as well.

Well worth driving off the freeway for a burger and fries. Always go with the double double. Maybe I was hungry but this was the best In and Out burger I've had.

I'm from the East Coast and this definitely lived up to the hype! The burger and shake were amazing, and for a great value as well. Only taking a star off for the fries: Wendy's and McD's were better imo. Worth Googling their "secret" combos bc not much is listed on the menu there. E.g. you can get the fries different ways, as we learned after ordering. Must see if you're vacationing west.

Situated at a very busy Barstow highway stop. The team had the service on lock. All walks of life coming from around the world, to enjoy a classic in n out burger. It was rather amusing seeing the tourists record the back of staff , ever so vigilantly preparing everyone's meal. Shout out to the front lobby runner Aida, outstanding customer service and offered to take our trays , thank you Aida.

Traveling to Vegas from San Diego..just want to cut through and move on..... Go through drive through and they have someone taking orders outside to expedite...after the order, kid asks if we are eating in the car...did not know why he asked, but as we got our food, it was clear they were helping us out! They handed us two lap mats and a to go box instead of bag, so hub would not have to reach in a bag to get his chips we bought to go with his burger.... This is a very thoughtful way to handle a very busy interstate...helping the customer and making it easy to want to choose this option. Food as always, tastes great! I used to go to El Pollo, but this will be my new jam for lunch on the go......

What are the reasons I really like going to In-N-Out is that I always see a bunch of young people working there. It's good to see them getting experience. This is one of the busiest in announced in the state, and the store looks pretty clean. The food is always good.

Going to Vegas for years to/from Los Angeles, this was always our go-to pitstop to eat. This place never disappointed! Packed or not packed, I always had a wonderful time eating here with my family! Good parking spots, enough seating, and the place was always looking clean!

A must stop while on the way or back from Vegas. This location is huge, it has a lot of seating inside. There is a large parking lot and plenty of parking! Same menu as other locations, food comes out quick.

Don't stop me now Don't stop me 'Cause I'm having a good time, having a good time... I try and make a quick pit stop on all my turn around work trips to Vegas. So far in my few visits it's been the quickest drive thru especially for In n Out. The service is nice and quick with the quality food that meets the need for a double double cheese (add chopped chilis if you like a little kick). The one time I had to wait I got out and went in just to stretch my legs, there happen to be two busses full of hungry people. Can't stop people from eating. Lots of seating inside and outside. All in all if you need to stop, swing by this In N Out and you'll have a good time. God bless

This In-N-Out Burger location is conveniently located just off of the freeway. It has a large parking lot and plenty of parking. The counter to order and the dining area were bright and very clean. The restroom was extremely clean also. The food was made to order and fresh. They made my order quick. Everyone working that I encountered was very courteous. The price of the items were fair. I recommend this location as a great stop when passing through.

Service was excellent got my food on time and very quick . We ate in the car so we wouldn't know how it look like inside. But from outside seem very busy and people were like line up to the front door got my food fresh and hot so I'm not complaining

Yes, all In-n-Outs operate like clockwork, with consistent drive-thru lines to the street. Always staffed to the brim with kids trying to make some after school lunch money. But I want to give a special shout out to the Barstow spot right off Lenwood Road. I always seem to find myself at this location, possibly out of convenience and partially out of comfort. After a 3+ hour drive, Lenwood Road serves as a brief respite from the tedium that is desert travel. I don't fully understand the culture behind Barstow, but often times when I stop by, there are hundreds of international tourists scampering around at the various establishments, like fast food is a novelty activity that must be experienced. Last visit to this In-n-Out, there must have been 500+ people inside. Every table, every seat was occupied. Every inch of that restaurant was shoulder to shoulder of rabid, hungry tourists. There was a backlog of 30+ orders at any given time. So major props to the staff at this particular spot, for having the patience and tenacity to withstand that sort of high pace environment for an entire shift. Whatever In-n-Out is paying them, they deserve more for having to deal with that.

Review #43 of 2024 November 2nd visit around 1pm. How does In-N-Out manage to mess up a Double-Double? It all comes down to staff not fully executing the instructions given. I prefer my burger as a lettuce wrap since I rarely eat bread these days. So, when I placed my order, I specifically asked the young employee to make sure it was a lettuce wrap. Unfortunately, when I received my burger, it came with the bread intact. Even though he repeated my order back to me, he didn't enter it correctly, and I neglected to check the receipt, trusting that he had done it right. I left this location feeling quite disappointed. While the burger itself was tasty, I had to navigate around the bread to make it work for me. If you find yourself at this location, be sure to double-check your receipt to confirm that your order has been entered correctly, even if the staff member has confirmed it verbally.

This visit left me SPEECHLESS! Fries Animal Style??? Delish!!! A 4x4 burger...whaaat??? Shakes are creamy, cold, and so flavorful ...great service, staff walking around ..constantly refilling ketchup station ...and yellow Chiles ...picking up empty trays...jam packed but the wait was not long at all!! Very big and clean ..up front parking ..food was fresh and delicious!!!

Good burger, not my favorite. Service is pretty quick even when they are busy. Ambiance is all the same, corporate off the shelf stores.

Most In & Out restaurants are more or less the same, obviously the menu is the same, but I wasn't the most impressed with this particular location. This location is very popular as it's about 2 hours from Vegas and right next to shopping outlets. My visit took place the Monday after Thanksgiving and 3-4 tour buses arrived the same time I did around lunch time. By golly, the line was wrapped around and down the middle of the restaurant towards the other door. Overall, the cashiers did the best they could to take orders in a timely manner. My feedback has to do with size of the meat patties, they seem extra small and thin compared to other locations. I usually get protein style and had to compare previous photos from other In & Outs. Everything else was as expected compared to other locations. Parking can be hit or miss, but people come and go quickly. Not my favorite In & Out, but it'll do. #43/2023

Going through Barstow we stopped and had lunch. This is the biggest in and out I have ever seen. The food is always great. Service is a little slow. The place is super clean!

Best pit stop when driving between LA and Vegas. Over the years this ended up being the In-N-Out I've visited the most, and by now practically a tradition when making the LA to Las Vegas drive. My go to combo is always Double Double Burger Animal Style with Fries and a Strawberry Shake. Add in the chopped chilis too for the extra heat! In-N-Out Fries do need to be enjoyed immediately while still hot, more so that the fries from other fast food chains. I do prefer them plain and not Animal Style for the crispness. Take a break and enjoy there, or in the huge parking lot. No need to eat while driving, and it's gonna be a sloppy mess.

Lunch in Barstow, California... After a strenuous shopping session at the Outlets at Barstow, my friend, Angel, remembered seeing the In-N-Out sign along the road. Let's go! I usually forget to ask for "protein-style" (no bun) for my burger. This time, I made sure to order it, along with well-done (crispier) French Fries! Yay! I also got chopped, grilled onions for my protein-style Double Double! Yum! Service was efficient and friendly! The environment inside was busy and loud, but clean and bright! It was too hot outside (98°F on September 12, 2023) for outdoor dining... Thanks for the free parking, convenient restrooms, and self-service beverages! I got a refill of Dr. Pepper, which helped me through the next two hours of driving from Las Vegas to Los Angeles!

I've been waiting forever to get my hands on the extra crispy animal fries and double double animal burger again. The cashier asked if I wanted it with cheese and onions. Of course I did. They were as good as I remembered them to be. The onions were caramelized and a little charred around the edges. That animal sauce is so good. It kind of reminds me of Thousand Island dressing. I had to get the strawberry shake. Their shakes are always on the sweeter side. I could only drink half.

Food is great, service is quick even when the place is packed. everything is freshly cooked and the prices are very affordable! This location had two yes two tour buses of hungry tourist and they didn't skip a beat. Everything was hot and delicious. The cashiers acted like you were the only person there. The formula this company has is amazing, no one is on their phones and everyone is nice and egger to serve. In looking at the surrounding fast food places that are empty there is no question as to why. This will be our stop on our next road trip to San Diego!

Fabulous customer service! Backstory: recently I left my purse in the restaurant. Corporate customer service provides a fantastic delivery mode, via FedEx, for the return of my purse to me! And, kudos to the local staff for retrieving & safely securing my purse too! Thank you!!!

Considering the volume of business here, the quality stayed consistent with other locations. Good job. Please teach your employees that they don't have to yell into the microphone.

Always a quick and reliable pit stop on the way to Vegas. It marks the half way point between San Diego and Vegas (or close enough to half). The overall size of this restaurant is close to double what I typically see. Food quality is always solid and service is prompt. Keep on Yelp'n!

This is a pit stop for us on our way back from LA to LV. We usually stop here or at Eddie's World. The dining area and bathrooms here are usually clean. We love In-n-out and our favorite is the #2 Animal style. I like their Black Coffee believe it or not. It's smooth and not acidic from the over roasted beans you might find in Starbucks. Sometimes it gets busy here but the wait is not too bad. The staff is friendly and has never messed up my order. A must stop if you are an In-n-out fan.

Was in a hurry and needed food, while also needing ti get back on the highway, and on a Thursday night around maybe 9 or 10pm, we walked inside and ordered and the food came out fairly quickly for take out. The individuals who assisted us were also friendly as you would expect from In N Out. Always will be my favorite quality fast-foos restaurant!

Timeless burgers that don't disappoint even after many years. Service is always friendly no matter what. The burgers are cooked to your individual order and love the fries well done. Well done free tasted crispy like fry chips. The grilled onions on the burger perfection!

Hands-down, the best burger for the value this location is super busy. Expect to wait at least 30 minutes for your food. However, the food is super fresh. The fries are always fresh. The place is always clean. My favorite is a number one combo 3 x 2 pink lemonade to drink, and of course side of chili peppers and spreadever on the way to Vegas or Laughlin make sure you stop by this location you can't go wrong. Excellent excellent excellent I'm a huge In-N-Out fan.

One of the largest In-N-Outs I have been to. Plenty of seating and soda stations and the A/C is nice and cold. As always, the employees are nice and courteous. It's a nice pit stop on the way to Las Vegas.

There's simply one reason I haven't reviewed this In-N-Out location even though I know it's there: I don't like stopping in Barstow on the way to Las Vegas. But when you haven't eaten all day because you want to beat traffic at the 15/215 merge...well, there are far worse options than here I'd say. Ordered my usual 3x3 with animal style and protein style. Same quality as I would expect from my In-N-Out burger. Gotta appreciate the remarkable consistency across all In-N-Outs. I indulged too and got some fries well done because why not, vacation. Staff are really friendly here too, no complaints whatsoever. The one thing I have to note about this location is the sheer massive size of the restaurant. By far the biggest location that I can recall being to. Makes sense, given Barstow's a main pit stop on the road to Las Vegas. Like I said, I don't envision coming here too much. But definitely nice to know it exists.

Definitely deserves all 5 stars. Every time we go here it's amazing. The dining room is very clean, all the employees are always very friendly and really act like they want to be there. Always service with a smile. Food is always hot and fresh like all In-N-Outs.

Well, well, well... Of All the Burger Joints, In All the World... Barstow In N Out is more than just a fast food burger spot to grab a hot meal. For me, this location is symbolic. Depending on where you live in Southern California, it's more likely than not that Barstow is your approximate half way point from your home to Las Vegas, NV. And as much as we all want to get to Las Vegas in a hurry to party, gamble and lose all our money; Barstow is the perfect pit stop to gas up, use the restroom, stretch our legs and grab a quick bite to eat. And if you've done this grueling, boring drive to Vegas before it's almost a guarantee your going to want to pull off the road once you hit Barstow. Exit 178 also known as Lenwood road has 13 gas stations, 67 restaurants & 7 hotels/motels in the immediate area, but even with all the food options off this exit, are you surprised that In N Out still has a line of cars lined up around the block? The answer is always No! C'mon people, it's freakin' In N Out!! In N Out Burger, whether in Southern California, Northern California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Oregon, Colorado or even Barstow, CA... Is and always is about "Quality you can Taste." In n Out as a brand continues to be the top contender in the burger world when it comes to Quality, Value & Taste and this Barstow location in the middle of the freakin' Mojave Desert is no different. So, what have we learned?? There are 13 gas stations to top off your tank when passing through barstow on your way to/from Vegas. There are 67 food options off the Lenwood Rd. Exit, but I have a feeling I know what your going to pick. ;) In case you are too sleepy after that 4x4, animal fries and large coke, there are 7 hotels/motels in the area to sleep off that food coma. But, there is only 1 In N Out, so make sure to bring your patience as you wait for your order inside or wait in the drive through for that strawberry shake and double double because trust me... It will absolutely be worth the wait!

You can't go wrong with in n out. We stopped here on our way home from Vegas! This in n out is bigger than most with a large kitchen. Don't fear the line as it moves quickly and they food is made to order even faster as well. This was just what we needed! Wish they offered Coke Zero! This location was clean. Employees cleaning the whole time we were there. There were various tables to sit at for dine in customers.

I believe this is the largest In-n-out location. Food was better than my last visit at a Vegas location where I live. They messed up my order but were quick to fix it. By far the dirtiest location I've ever visited.

Burgers are great as always, service incredible as expected but they really fell short on the fries! Not all In-N-Outs are created equally. It was a real bummer because we've just been hiking all day and was excited for a nice meal post hike and we're met with half cooked fries. I'm sure they would have fixed it but we were on the road and couldn't go back!

Stopped by on our way to Vegas for dinner and restroom stop. Restroom was ok but needed more servicing as trash can was filed up. Looked like they were understaffed late at night. Service was excellent. Placed our order then proceeded to watch one woman do everything from cooking to putting together and wrapping our burgers, work the fry station, box our fries, and call our number for our order. She did everything! Our burgers came out great and fries on point. Lots of open seating at night. Ketchup station ran out of ketchup at a couple pumps, but then it is late at night. A good stop for In-N-Out

This establishment was incredibly bustling with activity and every single member of the staff was diligently working. The burger and French fries were good! The restaurant itself was well maintained, orderly, and exuded a strong sense of professionalism through its distinctive logo and color scheme.

Food is so fresh! Here is the one of best in & out! A lot of lettuce in the bun & nicely chopped grilled onions

One last stop before we get into Arizona. Easy to get into and out of. Busy on a Sunday afternoon and we had to hunt for a parking place. Service was fast, plenty of cashiers to move the line along. Considering the number of people dining burgers came out quickly. Hot fries, warm burger and cold shakes - quality & consistency we've come accustomed to made for a decent meal before we were back on the road again.

Very consistent burgers, always fresh, always clean, friendly staff. Legendary burgers that don't fall apart like most fast food at McDonald's and other chains.

Close to the 15 freeway, decent size parking lot in a strip mall with many other retail and food options. This in-n-out is very clean including the bathroom. Service is friendly and pretty fast too. Their Ketchup seems to be chilled when you pump it out, which is a nice touch to go on warm fresh fries. I have only been here a few times on weekday afternoons and it was not packed, but I imagine weekends and rush hour times it would be very crowded.

It's a go to for excellent hamburgers fries and shakes. The drive be thru is always packed so we usually eat in.

Like most most In n Outs, super nice and fast service. We went through the drive thru and told them we planned to eat in the car so they gave us paper place mats for our laps in addition to the standard cardboard boxes. Pretty cute and it made us laugh having the placemats on our laps. Food came fresh and hot and we were on our way in no time.

Its the hamburger of the fifties, not huge. Everything taste fresh! As close to healthy as it can get, if only they had keto buns!!!

Worst experience here, animal style French fries cold, burger cold, large amounts of salt. The place was packed but so are all other locations of this chain. I will not eat here again.

In-N-Out is the best burger. I have been to location up and down the west coast and they always do it right. The service is second to none. The ambiance is always good and clean. The food is great. People always trash their fries but I LOVE them. They cut them fresh, and dunk them right in oil. It doesn't get any better then that!!! 5 stars, easily.

This In-N-Out has a HUGE dining room. Much more table space than other locations and is convenient to stop at in Barstow while on the way to Vegas! The drive thru had a long wait so we decided to head inside; once in, there were hardly any patrons beside us. Unfortunately going inside didn't help and we had to wait quite a while for our two burgers, probably due to the long drive thru. But everything tasted great and staff were friendly! One of the team was actually singing while they worked which I thought was funny and cute! Seems like they enjoy working here which is always great to see.

In-N-Out is always a good choice. This location is solid, although it can be very crowded. Inside is large, easy to find a table.

Lately, I've found myself in Barstow since I've switched to driving a Tesla and need to take a pit stop to recharge the car at the nearby supercharger station. If you find yourself in Barstow, you might as well come here for a Double Double and a shake. What you can expect from all In-n-Outs including this one... 1. Their employees are nice and friendly. 2. Their burgers are fresh, delicious, and quite affordable.

Location was clean and well maintained. Staff was pleasant and professional. However, my hamburger was not what I was used to from In n out. The meat patty was very thin and the bun dwarfed it. I couldn't even taste the meat. Disappointed if this is the new norm for this chain.

Best fast food burger you can buy. Fresh and consistent every time. In n out knows how to do it.
