In-N-Out Burger

Always good food here, and always lots of traffic. We parked and ordered inside. Two double-double burgers, two fries and a neapolitan shake for $21. Hard to beat. Bailey the cashier was friendly and understanding as we kept changing our order.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. While eating my fries, I discovered a razor blade mixed in with the food. This is a serious safety hazard and should never happen at any restaurant, especially one as popular as In-N-Out. Finding something like that completely destroyed my trust and turned what should’ve been a simple meal into a frightening experience. Food safety and quality control were clearly lacking, and that’s not something customers should ever have to worry about. I will not be returning and hope this location takes immediate action to ensure this never happens again.

We went here straight from the airport. I ordered the double-double burger animal style, the french fries animal style and the chocolate shake. It was delicious as I remembered back in 2018 when I was in the city. They were busy but the service was fast and efficient. Staff were friendly and restaurant was clean. I went back 5 days later to buy a “to-go” for my flight back home. I already miss this place! Highly recommended.

Cashier waved me off 2 times When asked about my burger that had been prepared wrong the first time. Manager refunded and re ordered burger. Burger took over 30 min to be made and handed to me. Manager said they go by sequence on numbers when orders come in but clearly not. They said number 38 … 36…32. 62.. 57. While I was waiting never 37. Bottom line. NO BURGER/ORDER SHOULD TAKE OVER 30 min. IN N OUT WHAT AN experience you guys are getting worse!!!!

Man I told them no onion on my animal style fries and asked for some spread and they got it wrong put onion and no spread. What a way to satisfy my pregnancy cravings. Never going back to this location. 😭

Parking lot was hard to get into because drive thru line wrapped around the lot but otherwise all is good here. Animal style to me is overrated. Just get the regular double double and fries with a vanilla shake and you will be good to go!

My wife and I enjoy the hamburgers and Double Double Cheeseburger and the fries from In-N-Out for many years. Every time we stop at any In-N-Out we can smell of the aroma of fresh cook fries and the smell of freshly cook meat pattys from the sizzling grill when we step in the restaurant. I enjoy the Double Double Cheeseburger very much especially if order Animal style including the fries adding Animal Style to you burgers or fries will make a difference of flavors. Their milkshakes are awesome they only threes flavors strawberry, chocolate and Vanilla. They also have a secret menu you can find on the web.

Where can you go to get a burger that is spot on each time! It's here! We live close to this burger joint now, and I can't get enough. Love the added grilled onions... delicious. We will definitely be back again... Thanks for the good eats.

I don't think I've ever seen this place, not packed to the rim . looks like business is always good at In-N-Out. Definitely not something I should be eating, it was the graduates choice. It's fine. Seeing all the cool ways to order a burger. I am not a big fan of animal style fries . I don't like mayonnaise, but people really like it.

I don't understand how In-N-Out could get anything but 5 stars? I walked over here from the Embassy Suites. I ordered my double-double with well done fries and a chocolate shake. I took a bite and the burger was well seasoned, the lettuce and tomato was crisp, the hot/cold bite was sooooooo goooood. All that went into my mind was WHAT HAPPENED TO EVERYONE ELSE???? You know that the other fast food stuff used to be like this.... but they are not! This place ROCKS! I devoured my double-double and after that. I KNEW I could eat another.... but you know.... uh gotta make like I am holding back. I got a single and it was not quite as good, but it was still better than any other place!!!!! I wish I had ordered another double but that would be crazy right???? Or maybe not???? This place is so good and the service is always great! The place is kept clean too. I don't know... I love the hamburgers here. Just top quality taste. Glad I got to taste it again.

Chris V at the drive through was efficient, professional with a smile despite the long line. True depiction of the In N Out value to keep the customer happy. Doesn't take mich folks, smile goes a long way. There's many fast food locations to choose from. Many In N Out locations near by. Employees like Chris V. Are the reason I love my local In N Out. We already know the food is good if you're already a fan.

Came to In-n-out downey around 8:20pm & Cashier Jason AL, took my order but i kept telling him i want a #1 combo double-double & also got 3x3 w/cheese grilled onions He didn't charge me for #1 he charged me for everything separately I told him where is my soda. I kept telling him I wanted the #1 double-double combo. I had to pay for the soda separately I have never had an issue in years till now

The food here is good as usual, I love eating here when I have the chance but the only thing right now is the construction, complicated to enter, i love the service though.

Food quality is not as good as it used to be. Still an ok burger and the shakes are still delish!

Please figure out how to serve burgers without napkins melting onto burger. It frustrating to pick out paper napkin from burger.

Are they cutting corners at this location? Although the patties are traditionally thin, normally the burgers are backed by hefty veggies, but that one piece of lettuce and small piece of onion made the classic In N Out cheeseburger look like a smash burger. Fries were burned and a bit soggy. Maybe this location is trying to save money and seeing how far they can go to drop their quality while profiting from the In N Out brand.

You know what you're getting at In-N-Out. This one is no exception. Fresh lettuce and tomato, never frozen patties, blah blah. Inside has some seating, though it's on the smaller side. Same with the parking lot - enough for ~3 dozen vehicles. Some parts are coned off to redirect drive-thru traffic, making for some tight turns and maneuvering.

worst one I've ever been to in my life, the tortas at the window are rude (it's okay bruh put the burger in the bag and clock out) && how did you get a single burger order wrong?? literally ordered one burger and it came all messed up, and SOGGY. wtf . Who gives out burgers that were just sitting there bruh. absolutely disgusting the way this bread was literally like a wet sponge.

Food was amazing , there was no more lemonade regular or lite linda passed by me and I asked her if she could please refill any lemonade and she left ,she saw me standing there waiting for her & she didn't even acknowledge me or let me know if she was going to get it or not , then I approached this nice gentlemen at the cashier who was not busy for lemonade and he went immediately to refill the lemonade. From the " get go" when I arrived approximately 12:15 am Friday morning 8-22-2025 at In n Out in Downey, after ordering my food, I looked for a table to sit and wait for my order to stay and enjoy my food, the conditions of all the dining room tables were horribly dirty, had to clean one in order to sit down. Another customer was doing the same thing across from me. Then after I ate my delicious double-double. So after I ate i needed to use the men's restroom, and wow, the bathroom was so filthy, trash all over the floor inside the stall, the toilet itself full of poop, just plain nasty. The other stall was in the same condition. Poor management at its worst, and I won't be going back to this one anytime soon.

My experience with In-N-Out can be hit or miss, depending on who's cooking that day. I typically order a 4x2 with grilled onions, light ketchup, and light mustard, with a light well French fry with no salt. Even though I ask for no salt, my fries always have salt on them. The service is always good, and the restaurant is usually pretty clean, depending on the time of day that you go.

Always consistent and the long lines move quickly. Inside is generally pretty clean, the employees are nice, and the burgers are consistently good every time.

I LOVEEEE IN N OUT !! IDK HOW I WAS EVER VEGAN... IN N OUT is perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner ! Their burgers have a distinguished taste that no one could recreate !! If you're in California, you best go here !! You can take some cute pics outside and say you're trendy lol but highly recommend ! The workers are always so nice and helpful too !! Every time I am out of town, in n out is what I miss & will immediately run to when I return!

Loved my animal fries! My mom and dad got number 1 which is double cheeseburger with lettuce onions and tomato and number 2 cheeseburger yum!

Ambiance: There will always be a line, so put your patient pants on lol. Service: Consistently quick and accurate service. I've never had to remind them to give me anything. Food: Fresh and hot bruger and fries, one of the only places that understand what I mean by "light onion" peppers add the spice I like. Overall, it was a great experience.

I love coming this location. They're always friendly and get the order right if you're a wheelchair user they even bring the food to your table and our concerned that you are treated with the highest respect I love the fact that they're always aware of people in need of help and will bring the food to people, who are wheelchair users because it is hard to carry your tray to your table. They always make sure that you're well taken care of so thank you for your support wheelchair community. Also, the environment is nice and I've never had a problem one of my favorite locations.

The service at this location is great! I stood up to throw away my tray and the nice gentleman, Logan took it for me. I've never had that happen at In n Out before. Very kind and impressive young man. Thank you Logan for going above and beyond. Keep up the excellent customer service.

Hey ok so...is this mold on the buns? It's on both the buns of the burgers. I'm not a food scientist or anything but I just don't believe the cashier when she told me she doesn't know what it is yet strongly believed it could be just char. But aren't grill lines like straight not circular? I don't know but it was pretty inconvenient to wait in a 10 minute line, drive all the way home, almost drool over it with anticipation of the first bite, but flinch at the sight of something so unusual and unappetizing, and then finally have to come back and get embarrassed about complaining. Again, I'm sorry for complaining I really don't mean to be a nuisance but like most people, we've eaten at In-N-Out for years and this has never happened. Usually you're in and out at In-N-Out but not this time! Luckily they gave us a refund but we still never solved the mystery of what this is and now I'm off put by this location. Of course I'll still come back and hopefully update this review for better quality control of the buns. Other than this one time experience, I would've given this place 4 stars for sure!

Ordered a burger, EXTRA EXTRA tomato with grilled onions. Got a burger with only one slice of tomato, and EXTRA EXTRA pickles added???! I hate pickles!!! My receipt said "XXT" not "XXP"

Went to this location around 6:30 today went in the drive through.. got our food and when we got home we realized we weren't given our burgers instead we got 8 fry's so that explained why they gave us 2 boxes. We were in a time crunch we had to be somewhere so I called customer service and the in n out in Cerritos on Alondra blvd made our order and pretty much helped us with the mistake that Downey did.. thanks to the manager Christian for helping us. Just a reminder to who ever goes to Downey double check your food before you leave.

One of the best places to get a burger, I like my bigger big so I get a double double with two extra pattys. Pro tip vege's are free so add to your own delight. I like to get grilled onions and pickles.but if you ask for extra lettuce and tomato it's like getting a salad in your burger. Shakes are great you can get all three flavors in one shake it called a Neapolitan. To cut down on how much sugar in my diet I usually get an extra large ice tea, which is unsweetened. This place never lets me down. Best bang for your buck you can get anywhere.

Great meal at In-and-Out as always! Service was great, and it wasn't too long of a wait for my order although it was busy. The seating was comfortable (unlike a different location that I've been to). The downside to this location is that it is located at a corner. It wasn't easy getting out of the parking lot. If the drive-thru line gets long, it'll be easier to get out.

Came here during my vacation a few years ago. First time ever eating their world famous burgers. I was very happy with their hamburgers. The fries need improvement. Friendly staff. Old school restaurant.

Everything is clean and perfect. Very fast service and professional. The best burger in California. Cheap and good ambiance

Super friendly service. I paid over $5 for a Hot Cocoa and a Chocolate Milkshake. I will say, if you love rich chocolate desserts, mix the two together, and you'll have a fun time. It is always super busy during these holidays. Small parking lot and busy drive-thru. Restroom was super clean and you can even adjust the water temperature on the faucet. There's a little knob on the right side of the neck of the faucet.

Ok I might just be a little annoyed with in n out right now because they won't just turn the top bun upside down. It's a simple request but since it's not in the picture of the menu they can't do that. My comeback to that was where is the protein style lettuce cheeseburger on the menu? The worker just kept telling me that those are the rules they can't put the top bun upside down for me. Will say the worker was being calm and patient and we were pretty much having a conversation about it. So just annoyed with in n out and this rule they have. So his solution was they can give me the bread on the side but they can't put the bun upside down for me. Said ok let's do that, at the end of it they still gave me my double double with the buns on it and extra buns on the side. Don't think they know how to place the orders with this type of request. Can't wait until they put this item in the secret menu. Just a patty melt just like a protein style burger. Still love in n out and hopefully this one star rating will get their attention. Make this happen in n out please! Patty melt! Plain and simple.

Burgers are always spot on, milkshakes are very good. I like to go with the chocolate milkshake and a 3x3 animal style with whole grilled onions.

My go-to spot all the time. Whether its a super late night either come back from an event or eating out late, it's a great choice. Even for lunch, I sometimes crave a number 1. The customer service here is good and they extremely hospitable. Only semi-negative thing to consider is how packed it gets on the weekends.

What can I say! It's in-N-Out ALWAYS delicious. Service is top notch here a worker kept opening the door for guest coming in and greeting them.

This location's service is HORRIBLE !!!! This is too many times now with lost order, wrong order or missing items from the order. This time I placed a BASIC order only to see 10 orders after mine get called - when I asked I get I can't find your receipt order can I see yours. Then I get give a few to get it together ..... another 4 orders go out - when o ask again about what happened it I Don't Know. Well that's kinda crappy because I paid you for food you should know something about it. Love In & Out but this location Hell No Never Again.

Expect approximately 30-45 drive-thru wait when the line reaches past the parking entrance. Didn't get a receipt. I didn't realize till I got home.

Price just keeps going up and it's not even worth paying so much for. So sad other than that great food. 10 years ago, a double double combo was about $5-6 average. That means now their 4x4 went up since last year since the double double is $5+ tax.

It's in and out. One of the most consistent franchise restaurants out there. It is the consistency, taste and service that I enjoy the most!

Hello In-N-Out, I wanted to spolight a specific employee, Ms.Emily Mu, as she did has fabulous service. She simply spawned the food while it was being ordered, we were in shock at the fantastic job she did at getting out our order!

So sad, today was not busy, there was no line and my order was completely wrong. I asked for we'll done fries, not only were they cold but soggy. I wanted grilled onions, I got raw onions and a cold hamburger. What is going on In & out? I'm so disappointed.

My go to for a fast and satisfying lunch. Always get the hamburger protein style. Excellent service and the order is always correct.

Ian wanted In & Out on our way to work. Since this was on the way, we stopped by here. I like the drive thru concept at this location as it is not interfering with traffic either on Lakewood or on Firestone. We ate lunch from here twice in the past week. Service both times was top notch. The time it took for us to navigate through the drive-thru was under 10 minute. Sandwich's served were piping hot and per our request. What we usually order: Cheeseburger, Patty well done, Spread only. Animal Style fries with extra grilled Onions. Large Vanilla Milk Shake. Double Meat Hamburger, Patty well done, everything on it, extra extra chopped chilies. Hambuger, Patty well done, everything on it, extra chopped chilies. We get couple of their delicious thousand island spread and packets of Chili each at the window. It typically costs us ~$18 for the order above. All said and done, It is an In & Out! It is the gold standard for service oriented freshly prepared fast food. Check it out.

Line moves fast. My order is always right. Staff are friendly. Especially an employee named Jillian. I've seen her at the drive through taking in orders and at the window turning in order. Jillian always has a big smile and genuinely greets so happily.
