I had come here with a few friends about a week ago for a quick bite to eat since we were in the area and it was kinda late. We had a pleasant experience while. The service was good and the was pretty decent, the thing I will say is that the time we had went the fries that came with our meals were all subpar. Other than the fries everything else was good and I would definitely come back again.

The service is very good, although it’s time to make a little queue because it is always collapsed from work it has many customers both outside and inside. That symbolizes that in the food of very good quality because there is high turnover It’s one of the best foods in the fast food area, I’ll always recommend it, it’s one of my favorites

Google
I cannot express how disappointed I am with the quality of the meal. French fries that are shoe strings and overcooked. I had the number one which is a double meat burger. I am old school. So where is the beef? The bun was crunchy as well. The 7up was too sweet and pink lemonade demands me to check my blood sugar. My guest had the fries with grilled onions, mystery meat and their special sauce. She enjoyed it. My first and only visit here despite the abundance of customers in the shop. All hype and no substance.

I have liked in and out since California but they have a more extent menu.. once the fries go cold it taste like those potato sticks that we used to eat as a kid and cut our hands on the can 😊😁😆 The people/kids work theory hard I love that and 💯👍🏿🎯 are always nice🤘🏾 I truly like that and I always tip whether I go in or go through the drive-thru !!!💲💵💰Just not impressed with no seasoning on the burgers and could be bigger but still a good place that my family likes to go, so we go 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🎯👍🏿💯🍔🍟🍔🍟

Burgers were good and animal style fries as well. Always like the In and Out food. Will be going back for sure!

My girlfriend avoids carbs like there’s no tomorrow—so the only fast food spot she entertains is In-N-Out. She was actually impressed by the quality of the lettuce in their Protein Style burgers—fresh, crisp, and solid enough to hold everything together. If you’re on a low-carb diet, this place really takes care of you. Big recommendation! Check out the photos!

Google
Me and my husband have came here multiple times as it is the closest In-and-out near us! Every time we come we dine in and the food is always amazing! Just perfectly wrapped! We usually get 5 burgers, 2 sides of fries and a drink and milkshake. It always comes out correct and the place is always busy in the night time! Overall experience amazing and we’ll keep on coming back!

Google
As always, this place has the best animal style fries. It is a necarity to try them. Decent price for the bomb dot com food.

Yelp
If you're looking for a satisfying burger experience, In-N-Out Burger is a must-try. Their menu may be simple, but it's all about quality. The fresh ingredients shine through in every bite. The burgers are juicy, with that perfect balance of flavor and texture. The "Animal Style" option adds a delicious twist with extra sauce and grilled onions that elevate the classic taste. Don't forget the crispy fries, which can also be ordered "Animal Style" for an extra kick. The service is always friendly and efficient, making for a pleasant dining experience. Whether you're a first-timer or a regular, In-N-Out consistently delivers top-notch burgers that keep you coming back for more. Highly recommended!

Yelp
I first had In-N-Out Burger about 15 years ago in Dallas. I finally decided today was a good day to try our always crowded, always busy, Katy location. The service was excellent. And I got through the drive-thru line within 5 minutes for a Wednesday late afternoon lunch. But...I don't get it. The cheeseburger was OK. But nothing to write home about. I honestly prefer Culver's or Freddy's. I did like the thick slice of fresh onion. But the fries. Woof. The fries. Nope. Never again. They tasted like they were made out of dehydrated potatoes. And I even warmed them up for two minutes in my air fryer to make sure I was really getting the peak taste quality. Maybe I'll try it again in another 15 years.

Yelp
So, I tried this location for the second time, first time was lack luster, this time was down right dangerous. Went there today , no big line, ordered my food, and paid. Got home, bit into my burger and it's raw in the middle. This is just absolutely insane. Thank God I noticed and spit it out. The fry's were weird and crunchy ( not in a good way) and have no flavor. The biggest issues is that this could have been a very situation if I had actually ate my burger. Definitely will never be back.

Yelp
In N Out is consistent in their quality for an affordable price. The drive thru system is very efficient, and the lines inside and outside always go by super fast. Wish that there were a bit more seating options because it is usually packed! I ordered their double double protein style and regular fries, but do enjoy their animal style fries better.

David B.

Yelp
At In-N-Out Burger, you know what you're gonna get it's gonna be a burger french fries fast with the same taste as you get every time. This time through was no different. The service was with a smile. They had our food out within three minutes and it was hot and yummy. The fries were perfectly seasoned and had a good crisp to them. The burgers were super tasty.

Kellie R.

Yelp
Oh man!!!! How I missed In N Out!! I'm originally from California and having bounced from state to state, I've missed this chain so much. Having recently visited Katy, I knew there was a location nearby and HAD to go. The line was super long at 9pm, going out to the street. The parking lot was full, too. No matter the wait time, I wanted my fill. We were in line for maybe 15 minutes total, they were FAST. The employees were all super nice, too. Our order was correct, hot, and above all, delicious! It was super super salty, though. But I haven't been eating fast food for over a month so I think my body just wasn't ready for that salt bomb. Everything was as delicious as I remembered (except this location is huge)! Thank you, In N Out employees!!

Linda A.

Yelp
Service was terrible. Food is not a hipe. A lot of people upset behind me because they close early than they supposed to.

Lunden D.

Yelp
As a California native, I've been a fan of In-N-Out for as long as I can remember, so every time I stop by Katy, they are my go-to. That being said, for all my Whataburger connoisseurs I'm writing this review with an unbiased perspective, and I can confidently say that this In-N-Out location lives up to the high standards set by its West Coast counterparts. I indulged in some of my favorites from their not-so-secret menu. I ordered the Animal Fries and a 3x3 burger, along with a Lemon Up--a refreshing mix of pink lemonade and 7-Up. Everything was exactly how I remembered it: the burger was incredibly fresh, with juicy patties layered between crisp lettuce, tomato, and that iconic spread. (Not going to lie, as I write this review I wonder why they named it "Spread".... Iykyk. Anyways..... The Animal Fries were loaded with gooey melted cheese, grilled onions, and more of that delicious spread.... lol --comfort food at its finest & a nice budget worthy burger! The consistency of great customer service is something I've always appreciated about In-N-Out, and this location didn't disappoint. The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient. Whether you're a fellow Californian like me, a newcomer, OR a Whataburger fan aka, LemmeTryIn-N Outtoseewhatthehypeisallabout, this Katy location delivers on all fronts!

Kate W.

Yelp
As an ex-Californian, I really appreciated the arrival of In-N-Out to Houston. Everything at this location is always super fresh and on point! They're always super busy, but they have never missed any of my special add-ons. Consider adding chopped chilies to your burgers if you don't already, it's a complete game changer!

Bobbi Jo M.

Yelp
Haven't had it for years since I moved from Cali. Fresh burger and fries the best! Great service

Tyler S.

Yelp
Quick fast drive thur, the style is cool. Honestly nothing crazy. Average fast food. Low quality meat. Basic menu, small burgers. The fast service is nice. Definitely an unhealthy restaurant.

Nicki M.

Yelp
I personally love burgers that have a nice gooey melted cheese and a creamy burger sauce- which perfectly describes this double patty burger! Service was counter and efficient. It's a good place to hang out and enjoy a freshly made burger.

Chantel C.

Yelp
When your California friends get hungry, you take them here! The line wrapped around the building, almost spilling into the streets, but that's a normal day for them. The fresh ingredients and friendly service keep them busy. I got the double double no animal style with fries and a chocolate shake. The fries were hot and fresh, and the shake was decadent and velvet smooth. I like the option to eat in the car they set it up in a nice box for you but I chose to eat it at home. Their reasonably priced, and even with a ling line, they are efficient. I was in and out of the drive thru in about 10 minutes.

Ali L.

Yelp
I love in n out burger and I'm one of the most respectful people I know in general however every time I come here the staff is so disrespectful and makes me feel terrible and insecure. This is the only store that's ever made me feel like this. I think there has to be an issue somewhere within the management or in the team and the franchise owner should look into that. One of the workers names is Keith. He's got a terrible attitude I just won't be coming back

Brittany H.

Yelp
Visit on veteran day! They offer a comp combo. Very friendly service. Good burger, not so good fries. Fries taste fake like plastic

Donna T.

Yelp
8.21.23 I like stopping here when I'm in the area for a burger and fries. (Never get a drink-only drink water) It is less that $6.00. That's cheap these days. There is always a line but it moves fast. They are always polite and friendly. They are building a location in Cypress! (Fairfield area)

Kerry M.

Yelp
Love me some In-N-Out Burger! I became a huge fan many years ago when I lived in Southern California. Sadly, there is no In-N-Out in NW Ohio. I am in the Houston area for a short period of time and stop in the get "my fix" whenever possible.

Angela K.

Yelp
In n out will never not hit the spot. My go-to order is the cheeseburger with grilled onions and chopped chili peppers as the raw onions can be too strong for me at times. The animal style fries have been so good, like the fries aren't as soggy as I'd imagine them to be. They're pretty crispy for the most part, and if you wanted to, you could ask them to make it even more crispy. Super great and super fast service. It's usually always busy around dinner time when I go no matter what day of the week it is, and it can get LOUD in there, but as long as the food and service is good, that's the only part of the experience that truly matters :)

Stacey G.

Yelp
I mean the burgers are fresh, fries are good (though salty) and the line while it seems long goes fast, but it's just that. It's good but not much better than a lot of other burger places.

Nic D.

Yelp
Visiting friends in Texas from the Midwest, so we had to get In n Out! It was actually our Texan friends first time having it. They live nearby so we got there around 11am to beat the rush. The establishment is clean and the employees are nice. I ordered a double double, fries, and a strawberry shake. Everyone else got similar things. We had one of each flavor shake at the table--strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla. The shakes were a big hit, especially for my nephew who is 1. He kept signing for "more!" I'm not a huge fan of their fries, but never have been. I add salt and use lots of ketchup for dipping. Burger hit the spot as it always does. There was a complaint from my friend that they put too much onion on, but I like that part. Happy we got to experience a beloved spot while on vaca!

Gina R.

Yelp
I have been 4x and the food is always cold, they probably make it to order, but then I'm in the line for 15 mins waiting and maybe that's when it gets cold. Fix it!Also this part isnt new, the french fries are the worst. In and out is overrated.

Humberto M.

Yelp
Freshly cooked while you wait & this place had a constant flow of customers walking in and out plus in the drive-thru too!! (No pun intended) but definitely implied lol Very friendly and courteous staff members as well. Very ample parking lot and seating both inside and outside this establishment... Very organized and neatly clean location Again, very awesome staff with manners and that crazy thing called "Customer Service"?*?* Weird concept huh?? Haven't seen this as common as it once was, especially NOT in the fast food industry But refreshingly part of the everyday here..... I witnessed several enthusiastic engagements happening before mine,so it wasn't just me. Great all the way around and for under $10 as a meal makes this a Winner in my book!!

HsiaoCheng W.

Yelp
Loved it in California a decade ago. And love it still in Texas today. Got a 3x3 protein style and double double. Found a piece of light brown hair on my burger when I sat down at the restaurant to eat it. It didn't look pubic in nature so I just picked it off and took a bite, as us old school folk don't b'ch at things like that. Tried the pink lemonade for the first time. It was darn tasty. Wish it wasn't so far away from Houston proper.

Tessa H.

Yelp
Great, fast service. Very friendly workers. Great tasting food as always. Can't wait to go back!

Tanya C.

Yelp
Can't go wrong because every time these burgers are made perfect! I don't understand but absolutely perfect. Service is always the best and the lines never quit, so be prepared to wait but it's worth it!

Alex N.

Yelp
In-N-Out has always disappointed me, this time it was the fries! The fries we received was cold along with the cheese. The burgers were good though. I love how In-N-Out closes late but not good enough to try again.

Sapna L.

Yelp
Horrible food, cold fries and tasteless burger. Waited 20 mins in drive through , that was busy until the entrance of the complex , the order taker was distracted and couldn't take an order correctly after she kept interrupting herself with bs , then to be served a tasteless burger and stone cold fries , animal fries the fries were cold along with the blob of rubbery cheese. Don't waste your time and money , never will visit again .

Andrew W.

Yelp
I had a grill cheese animal and French fries ! I like a grill cheese animal for its taste and price! It's like a burger without burger but it's a pretty good one! According to my friend, that style is California style and is a special one! :) If you are a lacto-ovo vegetarian person then you can try it out! French fries are not that great but it depends on person whether you like it or not. Personally, it's not my thing. Anyways, come try if you'd like!

Christina H.

Yelp
Okay, the line is always long but if you go inside I find that you get food faster. The burgers and fries are made fresh to order and the prices are reasonable! I like to order my fries extra crispy and animal style (which comes with in n out sauce and grilled onions) and you can order the burger animal style as well! I pair the meal with their irresistible pink lemonade. If the line wasn't always so long, I'd come back more often.

Lotus H.

Yelp
Traveled out to Katy to get burger and fries. Knew it was going to be busy even around 3:00pm. Parking was tight and few spots left- many parked adjacent to their lot. No wait when we entered, limited to burgers, fries, drinks and shakes. Got two double-doubles, fries & milk chocolate shake. Burgers were good! Fries were ok but shake wasn't chocolaty Quick service and clean restaurant. Very busy location - could use more seating and parking.

Fox E.

Yelp
I brought Barbie to In N Out Burger Even though she thinks that meat is murder What ocurred in the toilet? It's on film, I won't spoil it But everyone in the lobby heard her Easily the best location of In N Out outside the state of California that I have ever been to. By a distance, as well. The food here is served piping hot, generous, looks just like the photos, tastes eve better than you can imagine, and some of the best service this side of that one spa in that one alley back in Istanbul that I went to that one time with that one creepy Albanian dude. In N Out. Named after what happens with most of our clients, this is a good and infamous and wildly popular burger chain, and a very busy incarnation of it with a decent amount of foot traffic (no not in that sense). We always go inside because the drive thru is painfully long (which most of our clients are not). So we order a double double animal style and then we sing: You put your left dollar in Pull your right burger out Animal Style, that's what I'm on about You take a huge bite and then you turn around That's why we love In N Out! Not all In-N-Out locations are created equal apparently. I say this because this location just makes their burgers better than anybody else does. I don't know why or how, but every time we come here, we just find that everything is more juicy, more delicious, the portions more generous, and everything is more hot and fresh. I told one of the insanely friendly employees and he said he's tried other Houston locations (there's 4 total) and found the same thing, that this one is far better. He says it's because they make everything with love. And so do Yum Cha. Now let's rap: As Yelpers go, I carry CLOUT And I know what good food's all ABOUT And I know my salmon from my TROUT And I know my Brussels from my SPROUT And I know my interstate from my SCENIC ROUTE And I know my whale fin from my SPOUT And I know my tax break from my BAILOUT And I know my sit down from my TAKEOUT And I know my mustard from my SAURKRAUT And I know my Houston flood from my Dallas DROUGHT And I know my Mad World from my SHOUT And I know my Houston Winter Storm from my BLACKOUT And I know my Lager from my STOUT And I know my head coach from my SCOUT And I know my 1-0 win from my ROUT And I know my closet friends from those who are OUT And I know my Gwen Solo from my NO DOUBT And I know my Whatsapp from my HANGOUT And I know my naughty Catholic girls from my DEVOUT And I know my average girl from my (Barbi) KNOCKOUT And I know that I'd prefer to be at COOKOUT But I still love the burgers from IN N OUT Especially this location... without a.. doubt? WHAT

Lili S.

Yelp
These are the best burgers in Katy-perfect size, flavor, and tenderness. These sliders are satisfying and filling, without making you feel stuffed. In-N-Out offers a simple menu and speedy drive-thru service, though the line can sometimes extend since the building is situated in a tight corner. I also recommend the chocolate shake to complement the animal style fries. Lastly, I appreciate their to-go bags that have the National child abuse, human trafficking, and substance abuse phone numbers on the side! It's super cool how they have used paper packing since their founding in 1948.

Marcus C.

Yelp
I'm not really a fan of INOB. Even before it came to Texas, I had tried it in California and wasn't impressed. Their fries are terrible, even when they're hot. Unfortunately, my experience at this particular location on this day was worsened by the inattentive dark-haired young girl, who seemed more interested in everything else than taking my order. I felt rushed and like I was wasting her time. Not to mention, I had to keep repeating everything because of her distracted demeanor.

Jason M.

Yelp
The service was nice and helpful. Food came out really quick considering how busy it was. Everything's tasted fresh and was hot. All in all a good experience

Razi A.

Yelp
I didn't believe the hype but it really hits the spot and it's very consistent. As a Texan, I know I have to show love for the orange, but in and out is a very well run operation and animal fries are really good. Double double no trouble

Scott M.

Yelp
Good late night burger. The place was clean and not a lot of customers. I got my order and the fries where cold and the sandwich really did not have much flavor. I will go to the big W next time

Chris A.

Yelp
It's In-N-Out in Texas, what more can you ask for? I find it funny that the cramped-for-space California layout architecture is still retained in restaurants here in Texas, even though the parking lot is massively over-sized. That's one thing I never enjoyed about In-N-Out, even though their protein style hamburgers are the bomb (I always order three at a time, with grilled onions and mustard instead of the "spread"--for maximum flavor and nutrition).

Christopher S.

Yelp
KATY, TX / BURGERS, FRIES, SHAKES / 05-23-22 / DRIVE-THRU DINNER +IYKYK, the Spread, all about that animal style! +Get the french fries "well done" if you want it extra crispy. You can also order "cheesy fries." +The drive-thru is pretty fast and efficient. +Prices are reasonable; please keep them low. -No loyalty rewards program or mobile app pay.

Levi M.

Yelp
Food is always warm, fries can be soggy sometimes and the line isn't well managed but the food almost never disappoints

Samuel N.

Yelp
We used to like the food here but now it's way too salty to the point of being almost inedible. We asked one of the employees why they put so much salt on the French fries now and she said "there's been a change of policy and we were told to salt everything twice from now on" Too much salt causes hypertension and is very unhealthy! If a customer wants more salt on their food then they can always add more. It's too bad that the management of this In & Out has decided to ruin their food by making it too salty and unhealthy for everybody.

Tish P.

Yelp
I've eaten at this location 3 times and the lines are never short when I come which is generally around the noon - 3 pm lunch crowd. As with the location in Willowbrook, they have workers outside to take your order well before the normal speaker. Also like Willowbrook, it can be 30 cars in front of you and a damn near full parking but those fries still gon be cold! "Fries always fresh" is clearly just some verbiage on the menu because I've never received hot fries ever. And honestly think the animal style is overrated. They make a fresh burger and the customer service is always nice. And here is where I resist bringing up Whataburger lmaoooo

Sara G.

Yelp
Burgers are great , fries are ok but it takes way to long to get through the drive thru for a place that only serves a few things on the menu and with the name in and out.

Ashley B.

Yelp
Out of fast food options for a burger in Texas, in-n-out will always be a win for me. I like their patties better than whataburger and find it to be more affordable than five guys. Delicious cheese burger and the pickles are really good. Side of fries perfectly crisp. This location is nice, pretty clean and a decent amount of seating options.

Hue P.

Yelp
Second time is the charm! Just like Cali, hot and delicious! So i have to come when it is not that busy lol

Shahira S.

Yelp
So this is my first time ever eating at In-N-Out Burger. The service was amazing but I don't see what all the hype is about. I was very underwhelmed by the burger and fries. It was super busy but the line moved quickly.

Jess C.

Yelp
This was my 2nd time the 1st I cant remember. Would I recommend it? NOPe! Save your money, time. Friendly staff I'll give them that. I went through the drive thru it was about a 25-35min by the time I got in line and got my food. I got a #1 whole grilled onion, chopped chilies(which they forgot), well done animal style fries and a neapolitan shake for a total of $16. Where do I start ‍?? Burger- Bun was falling apart from how dry the buns are it was weird. The tomato also made the bottom bun soggy right away. The double double made no diff should've just got a single. The only good thing about the burger were the grilled onions. The fries- They add cheese it just seemed like one of those sliced processed plastic cheese. Oh and the cheese was salty and only on the top fries. The animal style was not so animal it was just a small dollop. The sauce was also super salty. It was all so salty that as I'm writing this my lips are burning. I asked for no ice on my lemonade since most restaurants keep their drinks cool. This one was HOT. Shake- The shake wasn't bad it actually had a banana split flavor to it. It wasn't bad but same as the drink it wasnt cold cold. It's not your usual shake where it takes time for you to be able to sip or die trying to sip.

Maria E.

Yelp
I lived in Southern California for several years and somehow never tried In-N-Out Burger (although I cursed their long drive-through line multiple times when it blocked traffic). Once moving to Houston, I realized that I had a chance to reconcile this misstep. I'm not a huge fast food person but In-N-Out seems like a good company that prioritizes food quality. Anyway, this location had a long line (naturally) but it moved pretty fast. The operation was very streamlined, with friendly and efficient service. We had our burgers / fries in no time. The burger is tasty. You can get anything on their menu done "animal style." This means extra sauce with grilled onions and pickles. Personally, I'd recommend keeping the burger plain (with cheese) but getting the fries done "animal style." The fries are a bit underwhelming without the extra punch. Next time, I'd probably skip the fries altogether -- it's not their strong suit. The burger however is great as is. This location is busy (they all are). It's also right by a major freeway. The parking lot is fairly large but fills up fast.

Julie V.

Yelp
Okay so a few tips. Get a double double, this is a burger with two patties and two slices of cheese, and ask for it animal style. Animal style is when they grill the onions in the mustard sauce. This is for no additional charge. Order your fries well done. They will be fried twice and crispier. You can also ask for your fries animal style if you like but there is a small upcharge for this. When you go through the drive through they will ask you if you're going to eat in the car. The burgers come in a sleeve where half of the burger is sticking out. It will be served on a cardboard tray if you tell them you're eating in the car or in a bag otherwise. Now as far as my opinion on the food, I would say the burger is definitely better than most other fastfood burgers but the fries are meh.

Dwayne H.

Yelp
Always friendly, reasonably fast, and good prices. Also, tastes great! At peak times, there can be a wait, especially at the drive thru.
