In-N-Out Burger

I stopped by this In-N-Out after my brother’s wrestling match at the high school, and even though it was around 8 PM and pretty busy, we still got our food super fast! The staff were all friendly, upbeat, and made the experience great from start to finish. I’m so happy they’ve opened In-N-Out locations in Southern Oregon — it’s easily my go-to burger spot. The food is always fresh, delicious, and consistent no matter when you come. Of course, I had to get my usual #1 combo — the Double-Double with fries and a pink lemonade — absolute perfection every time! If you’re in Grants Pass and craving a classic burger done right, this In-N-Out is 100% the place to go. 🍔🍟🥤

Considering the price you pay this is great. The spacious and clean location offers indoor and outdoor seating. Very limited menu but really good burgers at a great price. It's definitely better than McDonald's or Burger King. They even offered lettuce wrap which surprised us.

This was kind of over-hyped, i have heard people rave about it and was kind of a let down for us. Don't get me wrong this place was awesome basic burger joint. If we had one close to us we might try again but we thought it was average.

So exciting to have an In N Out in WA! I often drive to Portland and this is now a stop on the way down or back (or both)

In-N-Out always delivers the best food and service. The staff here was quite young, but they were excellent, kind and quick to serve! If you are new to In-N-Out, don’t forget to get animal style burger and animal style fries! Hot Chili’s are a must on the burger if you like it spicy!

I've now eaten at this location twice, and must say I'm disappointed (given the hype). Burger patty was super thin - the tomato slice was twice as thick and the onion three times. Bun fell apart immediately. Fries were ok, but needed more salt. Overall a decent but not great burger. Pretty long wait too. Restaurant was super clean and well maintained. Bathroom was spotless.

The only reason I gave 3 stars is because of the customer service. Even though the drive thru guy messed up my order, he was still super nice. The guy at the wondow was awesome too. The food is pretty terrible. Fries are dry and the burger is mediocre. I guess I don't understand they hype.

The nine one thing they do and do very well is consistently you get the same food at every restaurant. I prefer fresh fries as they make them done do not. This is have found to be the most common complaint after someone first tires them. Know that fries that are not frozen taste different! But you can't go wrong with fresh food ever!!

Food is always good and tasty I love their fries especially because they taste good when you reheat them. Highly recommend the animal sauce on your burgers. The experience at In-N-Out was so good. We were driving home from California, and of course had to stop for the best burgers, fries and milk shakes available. The cashier, Sophya was so nice and friendly. My daughter and I each had an Animal style cheeseburger, a milk shake and Animal style fries. We still do not have the restaurant in the Portland area so will continue to travel to visit when we can. It is that good.

Thought I could count on the chipper, quick service of In-N-Outs universally, but this one proved an exception. Ordered in on a seemingly slow Sunday and waited for over 25 minutes for the food. Apparently, that time wasn't used aptly because the burger clearly was hastily put together, not crafted well at all with things spilling out and unevenly distributed before even eating it. I'm not sure how it even happened but the bun was wet on the outside but burnt on the inside. The place generally clean though.

Twice now I've gotten cold awful cheese burgers. Both times through the drive through. I've always eaten at In n Out. Always great burgers. I pulled out of the drive through, got down the street and parked. Not more than 3 minutes. The burger was stone cold. Then this past Thursday the same thing only it wasn't as cold. Never ever expected to be dissatisfied with their burgers.

Still iconic after all these years! I had a Double Double Cheeseburger and my daughter had the Single Cheeseburger Combo Meal. We were on the road so we went through the drive thru and they offered us the option for an open box to allow us to share the fries while driving which was nice. Always great quality and value for a burger meal served fresh and fast.

Great food! We did a quick stop to this location. Lots of parking, busy and food was put faster than expected. I got the basic cheeseburger, fries and soft drink. They also have tea. I seen a person walking the area cleaning nonstop. It was nice to see and she was kind. Things to know: Expect a wait. This is a popular location. If you want a straw you need to ask. Condiments are located if dining in in middle of restaurant. Area was clean and glad we stopped. We will return again soon.

My family was heading down from Vancouver to San Francisco and needed a bite before we headed into the redwood national forests. In n out was the only good fast food that wasn't fast food in the area. We ordered through the drive through and there was a worker outside to take our orders on a tablet. Three of us got double doubles with whole grilled onion, 1 got a single with chopped grilled onions, and a Flying Dutchman (buns are replaced with whole grilled onions). We also got a side of animal style fries, well done. We've never tried in n out in California and this is the closest that we've gotten. I heard that it tastes different in Texas since they have a different meat company, but I didn't really taste a noticeable difference. Their burgers are always solid for the price. I'm usually a hater of their fries since I thought they taste like cardboard, but getting them well done makes a hugeeee difference. They're crispy and actually taste good.

Good service, restaurant was relatively clean, but nothing special about the food. My first experience with In-N-Out, doubt I'll be back

Evan was incredibly kind and welcoming. Super friendly employee with great customer service! Great to see the employees checking the time to refresh the lemons. A great experience overall.

Trapped in the parking lot of this overwhelmed location. Crammed at 8pm, no where to turn out and the drive thru line is over 20 cars deep! Had to park. Inside over 20 folks in line to order. Took over 20 minutes to get one simple combo. Maybe the only thing happening for Grant Pass.

In-N-Out is the best burger in Oregon. Don't order the fries because they are the worst fries money can buy from a drive-through. Thanks Lynsi for thinking about Oregon!!

I have always loved in n out my entire life, I've been going there since I was a small child and I am 72 years old. Unfortunately, the last three times my husband and I have gone to our local Grants Pass in n out we're noticing, the quality of the actual meat has declined. We are finding it to be less tasty, and it has gristle in it. In n out, please, go back to whatever you were doing before!

If I could give zero stars I would. I was order 96 and people way ahead of me started getting their chocolate shake before I got my chocolate shake. Now apparently they are out of chocolate milk to make the chocolate shake. I am very disappointed. I even wore my in n out of shirt out of excitement. Never again. :( I am changing my review. It was a simple mistake. They were very nice and respectful about it. Great establishment and even better food! Love it here!

We are driving down from Washington and this was the first thing I wanted to stop at on our road trip and I was so disappointed. Our burgers were not made how we asked and our animal fries were soggy and there was a black curly hair in the fries.... This was so disappointing and disgusting. Will never be back to this in n out ever again

The food was yum as usual & the price was right!!! We were very happy with our visit today!!!

One of the only three locations in Oregon. It's easily accessible from the highway (I-5) and is convenient (several gas stations on adjacent blocks). Free on-site parking but it's not big. The Medford location, 30 miles south, has more parking as it's part of a large shopping center. Good burgers at reasonable prices as we can always expect from In-N-Out. This location is as busy as any other location. Come to think of it, it's ironic. I told myself no in and out in Oregon but I couldn't help it. Drove by this location on accident and just had to stop by. A great choice because the drive thru was fast, and the items were all delicious! As always they delivered a solid double double and fries. I thought this was the last in and out north of California but was sad to discover another Oregon location opened up right before entering Eugene... still a good spot to eat whether heading to or from Oregon!

While staying in Grants Pass on a road trip from the Redwoods back home to WA, we decided to stop in and see what all the hype was about! They have a rather large parking lot available. We decided on the drive-thru, even though the line seemed quite long. The wait time wasn't too bad...line moved pretty quickly. Staff was wearing masks and they had a no-touch payment system, which was perfect for the current covid restrictions. We ordered two cheeseburgers, fries, animal style fries and a vanilla shake. The shake and regular fries were mediocre at best. My husband really like the animal style fries, and we both liked the freshness of the cheeseburgers. The lettuce was nice and crisp. We also enjoyed the toasted bun and special sauce. Overall a good experience. Not the best burger I've ever had, but pretty good for fast food. We'd probably stop and eat burgers here again and pass on the regular fries and shakes ;-)

What a great experience I had at the Grants Pass In-N-out. Fast service, great hot quality Burger and very little wait time. It reminds me when I was down in Norwalk California and that's the burger I remember. The one at Keizer station is horrible. Incredibly long wait times and cold food that's very sloppy. This one in Grants Pass gives the iconic company a great name. Wish there were more in the underserved communities instead of the nucleus of Oregon. Anyways I cannot take away anything from this location because everything was great from management to employees to the cleanliness of the bathrooms and overall the burger was amazing and I mean amazing.

Had to try based on recommendations from my west coast friends. No offense, but did not understand the rave about In-N-Out. It was a long wait at 12:30pm on a weekday. I had the Burger and Fries. I scraped the sauce off the Burger and found a tiny beef patty with tomato, lettuce and slice of onion. Fries were basically heavily salted, dry and tasteless. I've had better elsewhere for fast burger fare. My advice is to not go in but stay out. I really hoped to enjoy the experience but was disappointed with the quality of the food. Service was acceptable.

They had bad service, lack of communication, i asked them for a milkshake and they gave me an extra fry's, for the past couple of months ive been coming here they have messed up my order in more ways then one, its honestly getting annoying when you just want your food done right.

For what it is, this is wonderful! Only 15 min in drive thru, free hot cocoa for kids when it's raining...ordered a Neapolitan shake (strawberry, chocolate and vanilla mixed). Instead of animal style, got mustard grilled patty plus added whole grilled onion. It was amazing! Off menu ordered cheese fries, it doubles the price to $4 but having melted American cheese on them takes away the oftentimes gritty fries.

This review is for the service at this location, but also a RAVE for a particular employee. Last Friday (10/25/2024 at about 3:00PM), my sister and I were about to caravan back home after a long week with family in GP. We had decided to get a late lunch before we hit the road for a six-plus hour drive. In-n-Out is right by the freeway, and it's what my sis was craving, so we hit the drive-thru. The guy greeting cars and taking orders in the drive-thru was the most effervescent and adorable young man I think I've EVER had take my order as (especially at a fast food restaurant). He had a huge smile, he complimented my T-shirt, and he read back my order with a "Woo-Hoo" that made me giggle as I pulled past him. I could hear the smile in his voice as he greeted the car behind me, and my sister, who was ahead of me in line, said he'd been just as friendly to her. When I hit the first window to pay, and the second to get my food, I noticed that every employee I saw appeared upbeat, and the two manning the windows were both cheerful and pleasant. The food was tasty and well-made too, but it was the experience that made my day. I wish I'd caught the drive-thru guy's name, because I'd like to give him a personal shout-out. His authentically joyful demeanor and bubbly personality brought some much-needed sunshine to my day!!

Employees are always super kind and respectful. Definitely makes the experience worth it. I'm vegetarian so I don't eat meat but their "grilled cheese" and "animal style fries" are delicious!

I went to this In-N-Out today for some food. And quite frankly, the food was not good, the service was not great, and there was a loud group near us. There was also a kid banging his head against the window near me outside the restaurant, and a few other kids being loud outside with their parents just silently watching them. I ordered a hamburger with ketchup, cheese, mustard, lettuce, pickles, grilled onion, cheese fries, and a medium-sized coke. The only thing that I found decent was the soda. They managed to mess up my burger--putting animal-style sauce on my burger, which I never asked for--nor do I like. They also forgot the grilled onions on my burger. On my cheese fries, the cheese was barely melted, it looked like they just stuck a slab of American cheese on it. I went back and re-ordered my burger, same burger. The guy who ordered my food previously, Samuel, gave me a massive side-eye. They re-made the burger, messing it up again! They only put cheese, lettuce, and a slice of RAW onion! I never asked for raw onion--I asked for grilled onion! They also forgot to put the mustard, pickles, ketchup, and grilled onion! I got tired of going back to the counter so I just took off the slab of raw onion and just dipped my burger in ketchup. I wouldn't recommend this joint of In n Out if you want a good burger and fries. Also, I got food poisoning from something that they made me.

This is our third or fourth time at this location. It is such a treat for my husband and I coming from Washington.

Just got order from grants pass in&out fries were the nastiest fries I have ever had way over cooked and they tasted like really old oil I don't think I could ever by fries there again

Always amazing, always fresh ingredients and worth the wait. Animal fries are always top of my list and you can't even recreate them at home as good. The burger with everything, choice grade A meat, fresh and the prices are unbelievable for the freshness and delish taste! I wish I lived closer to one that didn't have an hour + wait every time. I also love the added bible verse on the wrappers. But that's just a personal belief and favorite of mine. My mouth is already watering for another round of animal style fries.

Ask for animal style burger. Really good. I was not impressed with animal style fries though. I prefer regular fries. This location has also a couple spaces for oversize vehicle, which is great if you are traveling in RV.

As a So-Cal native, it's sacrilege for me to give In 'N' Out ANYTHING less than a 5-star review. If you're not from In 'N' Out country, this is simply THE best fast food hamburger around, where everything is fresh and tasty. The beauty of In 'N' Out is their cleanliness and consistency... every location is booming with business because their burgers are just simply delicious. Most people know about their 'secret menu' but if you haven't been initiated...a double-double is their classic 2 patty/2 cheese burger but you can add more of either by asking for a 3x3, 4x4, etc. If you're watching carbs, ask for your burger to be served 'protein style' which just means a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. Their fries are fresh and you either love them or hate them, but I recommend asking for 'crispy' fries, which they'll cook a bit longer for more of a McDonald's feel. When you are more experienced with their flavors, ask for Animal Style...which is a delicious mess of their sauce grilled over their fries or burgers. PRO TIP: Always ask for grilled onions. But, no matter how you order it, you'll be glad you stopped by! I think it was Shakespeare who said it first, but it's worth a re-quote, "In 'N' Out, that's what a hamburger's all about!"

I never write reviews, but I had to tonight. I have celiac and it's incredibly difficult finding places to safely eat, and Sammy was so sweet and accommodating and it truly meant the world to me. I hope that she knows how much I appreciate it, it made my year

We have been in twice in the past year. The but was charred black. The burger was 1/2 " and tasted like cardboard. They must have changed owners because it used to be really good 2 1/2 years ago. Never will eat there again. We only gave it 1 star because the fries were just okay.

This place is the best! The employees are so friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are completely happy, I come here often and every time my burgers are picture perfect, one of the only places that you can order the burger that's on the picture and your burger will look even better in the picture, their quality control is crazy and their ingredients are so fresh, when I go off of my whole 30 diet it is the only place I can eat that won't make me sick, their hamburger is grass fed, only the freshest ingredients, and their fries are fried with sunflower oil non-GMO. If you're going to eat fast food this is the place to do it! One of the best things about this place are their managers they are just as friendly and outgoing, so their professionalism trickles down from the top obviously as is reflected in their employees, keep up the good work John!

Nice In-N-Out burger. Service was extremely fast. Faster here than any other In-N-Out Burger I've been to, but there wasn't much of a crowd. Restaurant was clean, and an employee was walking around keeping it that way. My only complaint, there was way too much noise behind the counter. I've been impact in and out burger restaurants before and it can get a bit noisy behind the counter. This place was pretty much empty and the employees were still screaming to the tops of their lungs across the food preparation area.

So my new Apple Watch fell off when we stopped at this in n out and not only did one of the employees pick it up for me but the manager held it in the safe for a month. Most people aren't that honest these days. When we arrived to pick it up they were so kind. We also had amazing food and really short wait times. Both times we ate here they gave me kids coloring books and crayons which helped immensely (I have 2 toddlers). I'm just very impressed with the staff here!

It was good and fresh so I'll give it 2 stars. But, unfortunately the gal that gave us our food didn't have the best hygiene; so we sorta lost our appetites.

The dining room was so clean! Employees were so nice! Even the parking lot and outside dining was clean. Our food was hot and fresh!

0 Star if it was available. Last night. They messed up our order. Fries were disgustingly salty. My wife had horrible food poisoning and got very sick. Usually love In and Out but this was the worst experience I have ever had at an In and Out.

As good as it gets right? Driving back to Seattle and THE STOP. This one has a drive through and is amazing. For COVID no indoor seating. Otherwise just as you remember.

Total assholes when I came back TWICE, to get my flying Dutchman's fixed. The workers have been very disrespectful and tried to make me pay a third time to get what I ordered in the first place. Definitely need some work on their workers attitudes to customers.

We were craving In-N-Out and "new" Grants Pass location was perfect. We weren't sure about stopping since we didn't want to eat inside due to COVID and the burgers are delicious they are too messy to eat in a car easily. There was a nice area with table socially distant and in the shade! Perfect! Food was wonderful as we expected. Service was fast and friendly as always at every In-N-Out. Definitely will stop there again as we travel to and from Portland from Fair Oaks to visit our kids and grandkids!

I get that so many people think this place is over rated, and don't get me wrong. It is. I happen to be one of the lucky one's to have had it often before many Oregonians were able to. It is still a very quality fast food restaurant, that I would eat over McD any day. This location is beautiful, very efficient, and the employees are nice. I love the protein style burger, and animal my fries. There are plenty of parking spots in the lot, but I can tell you if there is a long line it would be a pain to get in, and out. We were in town for business. I was glad they were open. I was hungry after being on the road.

When it rome...we had traveled into Grants Pass, OR & were self sufficient for food but it didn't stop us from stopping here before going back to camp. It was quick, clean and efficient. Our group was 5 but we made it work with the specialized seating for COVID. Our order was taken and was delivered in a timely COVID manner. We have one within 60 miles of our home that was just opened but super disappointing but this place was not in the lease. I would highly recommend stopping if you are traveling I5 and in the Grants Pass, OR area.

I recommend to get a quick lunch if we have limited choices and need to fuel your body. Animal fries satisfies your craving, regular burger and fries are good enough. This time, they forgot one of our fries, order double-double (double cheese) but got a regular cheese burger... spring break and lunch time on Saturday. Understand they got busy but we found out after we grabbed a bag to go in a hurry, no option to fix it. Oh well, it's burger, fresh fries were good, though but their operation was a bit chaotic and if you are in a hurry (maybe this location), may want to go to other burger chain.
