In-N-Out Burger

I usually enjoy In-N-Out, but today’s visit was very disappointing. I ordered a Double-Double and found a bug in the lettuce. This is completely unacceptable for food safety. I hope management takes this seriously and ensures their ingredients are thoroughly inspected and cleaned.

First time in and out experience. Absolutely loved the single burger with a light coat of the sauce, lettuce, tomato, added sauteed onions and pickles. Tried the animal fries which were good but I'm going to stick to the regular fries which are great! Will definitely repeat this place!

Well, it's In-N-Out! Burgers and fries were excellent. All animal style of course! Nice people with big smiles, very clean and inviting. I still don't know how they can keep their prices lower than their competitors while quality is top notch.

This place was great. Every location I've been to has been good so far. That's the difference when you franchise out and have off locations like McDonald's. The place was packed per usual. They have some many employees and get orders out fast. The food was great as usual as well.

We went there for Dinner. It was quite full but the service was very quick and we got our order very soon. Double Double and chesseburger were excellent and fries fresh. Always a nice experience here @ In-N-Out. Great service, as we asked for some milk and got it for free. Good job.

Great service, very friendly and helpful employees! They really go above and beyond (even taking your empty tray off your table). My only complaint is that the fries were cold every visit except for one day. The fries do not taste good when they are cold so if they were piping hot or at least warm, it would taste better. If it’s your first time trying in and out: I recommend trying it with the chillies they have displayed by the ketchup. It adds a nice layer of spice and extra crunch to your burger. I also love adding pepper to my fries. The animal style fries were pretty good, the cheese fries were okay (a bit too cheesy for me, but that’s subjective to your taste) and the regular fries taste good when they are piping hot. It’s free refills as well, so you can have a drink during and after your meal :) Overall, I really enjoyed these burgers and cannot wait to eat them again.

You cannot go wrong with in-n-out. It hits the spot everytime! Perfect for company lunch

always have a pretty good experience at this in n out, food comes out super fast for the drive thru, usually nothing missing or wrong w my order service is quick and staff is super friendly even if you have a customized type of order. ambiance can be a bit loud and crowded since it's walking distance to UCI, but regardless the staff makes sure that the food comes out in a swiftly manner

Service was outstanding. Food has almost always been great, and it was this time. However, one of my biggest pet peeves is not receiving a full soda. They (and every other fast food chain) overfill the ice, so you are probably getting 2/3 the oz of soda you pay for. And then seeing a soda not filled to the top just bugs me. It would cost them less than a cent's worth of soda, but it's maybe a $.25 loss to me...

We ordered two hot chocolates and both were the worst hot cocoa we had. It was like drinking hot sweet water. I had one sip and that's it all the drink went in the drain. (I am not big fan of hot cocoa but last year I had their hot cocoa for first time and was amazed. I don't know what changed but it's not the same in fact it's worst )

Of course five stars, in-N-Out is the best and is always consistent no matter the location. Was in Irvine touring ICI and they have an In-N-Out right across from the campus. This location is super clean and nice inside and out. Tons of seating as well as lots of seating outside to enjoy the great weather. Any burger and fries are a hit here, secret menu or customize as you like you can't go wrong. I prefer a burger, mustard fried, no salt, no spread, extra lettuce tomato and onion, Fries topped with grilled onions with spread on the side and a coke, yum!! Service here is great, we ended up needing to have an early lunch and showed up just before 10:30am, did not realize they opened at 10:30. People were already in the drive thru as well as inside eating, that is amazing service. Although I am sorry for the employees that people already got there and they started serving before they even officially opened. Our order came out fast, hot and perfect.

My guilty pleasure and the only fast food I eat. Wish they wouldn't put artificial flavors in their spread or use corn syrup in their shakes, which is why it's a guilty pleasure. Grew up going to In-N-Out so I'll always be a fan. Service is always 10/10 every single time no matter which location I've gone to, way better than Chick-fil-A for food and service!

does it get better than this!! In n out is perfect and this location is no exception! It hits every time and it's so affordable. The service is always great and super fast! Always dependable and nothing beats an in n out burger and fries after a long day. The milkshakes are perfect too. Zero complaints!

Workers here are great!! Even though this place is busy most of the time, they make it their priority to have superb customer service. This place is an ode to 50s diner style in the U.S. Retro vibe. Not too many vegetarian options here but prices are very reasonable. coffee is super cheap too! They even offer oatmilk creamer-yay! Also shoutout to the fact that they donate to causes like opioid addiction.

I love all in n outs. The prices are amazing for good food. The fries are hit or miss but the burgers deliver every time. Always good service at in n out too. They all look the same a lot of seating which is nice.

Went towards closing and the tall white girl smashed my box using her fist like a hammer.. like what? never seen something so unprofessional. she was talking with friend playing around and slammed my box down squishing both my box and burger. Friends working together is fun until they start ruining stuff.

Long line and the burger was so salty it was not edible. It was the worse in and out burger I've ever had.

Likes: Like all In-N-Outs, + cheap, semi-healthy, tasty food + very friendly, well-trained, helpful staff + I like the ice water machines, lemon slices, and readily available napkins. + nice clean restrooms. Non-likes: - Slow service. Granted, it's at a college campus. They took 25min to prepare my order. - Indoor seating, outdoor seating, and parking are all abundant yet often very crowded. - The drive-thru line is so long, it crowds out even the giant parking lot. I had: $7.50 2 hamburgers protein style + $6.10 dbl-dbl protein style + $2.35 fry w/ spread & grilled O + tax = $17.19

Food is always great here! Plenty of parking available. The staff are always super friendly. The place is always clean! You can't go wrong with an In & Out. Make it a regular spot.

In-N-Out is definitely a California essential. As a UCI student, I really appreciate that this location stays open late -- perfect for those late-night study sessions when the hunger hits. The food is consistently great: fresh, tasty burgers and classic milkshakes that never disappoint. I especially love that they hand you the milkshake right away ... no waiting. That said, the service at this location can be painfully slow. I understand it gets busy, but waiting 45 minutes for a cheeseburger is excessive. They could really benefit from a more efficient system. Overall, it's a solid option if you're up late and craving something reliable, but there are definitely faster In-N-Out locations out there.

It was peak hours from 5:45-6:45pm. This place was an overstimulation nightmare. It was so packed with people from families, students, and children. I was trying to grab a booth but this mom made eye contact with the grandma at the booth first so she gave her the table. The grandma had the audacity to make jokes about getting the table before it was too late like just get up and go so other people can eat too please. The food was 5/5. Luckily later I was able to swoop in on a table being cleaned. The service was also good. I got what I requested for sauces. You can never go wrong with a protein style double double with grilled onions and fries light.

Surrounded by UCI and Concordia University Irvine, this In n Out is busy all day, every day! However, even with a carline around the parking lot and a line to the door, this team moves fast!! They work hard to get your food to you fast! It is always busy, so the restaurant is a little loud, but if you sit in the corners or can snag a table outside, you'll be fine! My go-to order: #2 mustard fried, add grilled onions, fries and a pink lemonade!

Always a go to, prices have gotten higher but overall for a fast and good meal in and out is always good fast food. Lunch and Dinner times are always super busy so if you are in a hurry I suggest going a little earlier than the normal times.

Ever since Nexx burger, I rarely frequent this establishment anymore but I did yesterday for a friend, we got to the line of cars and there were different entrances for this in n out line, no signs of a specific line. We finally merge into the line and the dumb in n out person taking the orders SCOLDS ME to not use the wrong way to get in because now people are trying to cut. She then went to the other cars behind me and then came back to my car and scolded me a second time. She assumed I can just magically guess which is the right entrance? I haven't been here for years, it's not like I'm a regular that knows, she was sour overall; It's Always busy here, burgers are meh ambience is loud.

All-around great service and a super clean environment! It's always a plus to support a Christian-owned business with strong values. Needless to say, the burgers and fries were spot on -- fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. Definitely coming back!

Great service by Ava (Cashier) & Jayro (2nd window distributing food); however, super disappointed with my Flying Dutchman. It was my 1st time ordering & totally expected an onion on both sides of the patties; but I just got patties & cheese topped with chilies lol. Not too sure if I received a faulty order. Otherwise based on the location, service was quick & efficient. The drive thru had a long line, but service went by quickly. I'd rate the food pretty consistent with quality amongst the other in-n-outs. First time I've had an error, so 3/5 starts at this location since this is not our "home" in-n-out.

In and out is always the best and this didn't disappoint. They got our food out fast and it was super delicious. It was crowded though and the fries weren't too notch so that is the reason for the 4 stars.

i don't think i'm ever coming back to this location. i'd rather drive further for a better in n out location tbh. i feel this way about most of the restaurants in utc so i can't say this is entirely unique to in n out. but the service is horribly slow here. i can't tell if its the demographic of people who work at this particular location (mostly really young students or just younger people in general) or if its the proximity to campus, but service is always pretty bad when i come. i've come on weekdays and weekends, during peak hours and off peak hours. everything is super slow and no one seems to be helpful when i check up on the status of my order. at other locations, i have found service to be extremely top notch and very quick and efficient with staff who are always attentive and professional.

Burned buns and patties. On all three of my double doubles. The worse in and out order I have ever had.

Service has sunk to a new low. The lack of care getting the right order out the drive-thru will soon wreak havoc on the what was a great brand. The last 5 orders have been carelessly handled, resulting in significant disappointment once at home with someone else's order. Well done fries that are nearly raw, standard hamburger in lieu of the animal style and missing condiments. A botched order once in a while is understandable, but 5 out of 5 is ridiculous. Do you job and save the in-n-out brand.

Quality you can taste! In-N-Out keeps everything consistent: limited menu items, stellar ingredients, retro interiors, and reasonable prices. They are across the street from UCI and a short walk away from the company's headquarters. I think they get frequent visits from corporate, this location feels like it's being held to a higher standard. That being said, they're always swarmed with college students at all hours of the day. But the staff here run a tight ship, fulfilling orders as fast as they can. My go-to is always the Double-Double. You get two 2-oz ground chuck patties that are pretty thin honestly, but still juicy. Order a 3x3 or 4x4 for more protein. You also get two slices of American cheese specially formulated with a lower fat content to achieve that perfect melt. Never had any issues with their tomato slices or hand torn lettuce. Onions are also excellent, no matter if it's sliced, chopped, raw or grilled! Ingredients are all stacked together between two toasted sponge dough buns. What else is consistent? The fries limp and wilt after 3 minutes! They don't double fry, so you have to eat it as soon as you get it. Or else the texture gets mushy by the time you arrive home. Order it "light well" or "well done" for a crispier consistency, it's slightly better. Besides that, this is the best fast food money can buy!

Came home from a drive thru order and they forgot my fries!!! I was so pissed and hesitated on driving back to complain. But actually, only about 3 weeks ago I was at this location for eat in and they had given my order to someone else which the customer took and returned. I was literally standing there... huh? How does this happen? Anyways I spoke with the manager on duty who handled everything very professionally. I know the workers work hard but how can you forget items in an order Anyways glad everything was resolved.

Fantastic burgers try animal style ! Extra pickles and sauce grilled onions delicious. I'm never disappointed. Fact: I had In-N-Out 2 hrs before giving birth. Not my best idea but sure was delicious

Great service & super clean and efficient in getting you through the line as well as servicing the food.

It was during the office after our soirée, that someone mentioned, In-N-Out Burger. I've never been to one! They assured me that it was a staple in the west, and I absolutely needed to go. So I did. They ordered me a single burger with some embedded chilies, lettuce, tomato, and onion. An order of animal fries, too! The service was really fast, considering the number of people that were waiting for food. The workers all seemed very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant itself was very clean for a fast food joint. The food was delicious!

Ok In n Out. Nothing I mean NOTHING beats In n out for the amount of yums per dollar. For less than 10 bucks I get the freshest most filling burger and fries (yeah its not the best) but when its fresh its still tasty with some spread and ketchup. My go to order is: double double mustard fried with grilled onions and a whole raw onion with extra lettuce with light well fries. The service is friendly and quick despite the onslaught of students. The ambiance can be loud and hectic but it makes it fun in my opinion. This location is one of my favorites out of the 10 in n outs I been throughout California and if you haven't tried in n out. You are missing out on a cheap quick reliable and tasty meal.

Never disappoints! Best price for best quality food in area! Very crowded but staff is friendly! Great environment as well! TASTE GREAT AND CANT BEAT PRICE!

We live minutes away from this in n out, and while that's cool, it's an extremely busy location because it's right next to UCI. The drive thru can be insane during its peak hours such as during lunch and dinner. However, they seem to have a good system in place with friendly and efficient workers. Location is right between Chic Fil A and Taco Bell. What can I say? Food is consistently delicious. Prices recently rose but that's inflation for you. No complaints. Keep up the great work in n our staff off campus drive :)

I'm a little sad. My friend from out of town wanted In-N-Out and the closest one was this location by UCI. There was no meat in the cheeseburger that I ordered today @11:50am. I gave my meat to my friend since he came all the way from Texas. Possibly this location is too busy?

What more can be said about IN-N-Out...efficient, cost effective, value for your dollar, clean, friendly and delicious...I love this place and I love the company!!

Always a great excursion to gather deliciousness for you or loved ones! The employees' morale is forever evident as they happily greet you, genuinely wish you good tidings and ensure you leave just as happy. Grateful it's so close to our house... my waistline not so much?!

3/13/2024, UC, Irvine is my old stomping ground from when I graduated from this university decades ago. In and Out Burger wasn't there when I attended the university nor the other restaurants, stores and shops that now the students just take for granted. I was on the campus briefly today, so I decided to stop in this restaurant for a burger. Honestly though the burger at other In and Out restaurants that I have gone to tasted way better. The burger buns at this location were very dry and over cooked and very crunchy, so I was a little disappointed in the quality and I didn't really enjoy eating the double meat burger. I guess the students who eat here don't complain much about the quality of their burgers, they just eat them.

Uci in n out huge and an in n out!!! When I was going to Uci this place was a regular late night stop. One evening I ordered a bag of fries I think it was 5 orders!

I waited over 30 minutes in a very loud, crowded, hot restaurant- for my 1 hamburger/small fry order! I finally walked up to the counter and asked if she called #31? The PA system makes Penn Station sound competent! My hamburger was gross, fries cold as ice. Too be honest, I didn't care! I forgot I was even hungry! What a miserable experience. I will never darken the doorway to this shi$hole again! California Circus

The absolute best burger on the planet! You must order it "animal style" to get the best experience. Quite messy but worth every bit of mess! The price is absolutely the best, so cheap, filling and delicious! I will eat one at every opportunity when in a city that has them! I wish they were in Florida!!!!!!!

I've been a socal native my entire life. In-n-out is one of those joints where you can always count on having a good experience. The flavors are always consistent. The fun thing about in-n-out is being able to customize your burger however you want! My go-to order when I'm really hungry is a double double animal style with extra raw onions (or whole grilled onions) with extra mustard fried and extra toasted bun and a protein style cheeseburger with onions and an animal style fry. I ask specifically for 3 spreads and 3 pepperoncinis containers, 1 for each item. You can also ask them for chopped pepperoncinis in your burger and it's such a game changer. Normally if I'm not super hungry, I just go with the double double and animal style fries. I do like how the prices here are never super expensive and always remain to be an affordable dinner option. You really cannot go wrong with in-n-out. The service here is also amazing! Everyone is super nice and very caring. One negative about in-n-out is that their hot chocolate, size large, is not that good. I don't know if it was just this experience but I previous got a hot chocolate (size small) and it tasted really good. Their large size seems like they use small size proportions and just even out their hot chocolate powder with more water resulting in a watery hot chocolate for their large cups. I would put my review at in-n-out to be 4.5/5 just because -0.5 due to the hot chocolate. I rather just make that at home with some godiva chocolate. I also didn't get their milk shakes this time but their milkshakes are really damn good! I would recommend getting the neapolitan shake (strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla).

Great customer service and great tasting burgers. Warmly welcomed, process of placing an order was quick and easy. Burgers are tasty and fresh. It does get quite busy but finding a table was not too hard.

Good spot, drive thru recommended, it's very efficient. Most consistent with their fry light cook - important in my house. Great service.

I remember when this location used to be a Denny's, a Lee's Sandwich, and then... In-N-Out. I have a feeling I had forgotten another restaurant in-between but it most definitely has been In-N-Out for as long as I can remember since I have graduated from UCI years ago. Was in the area last week and we were craving In-N-Out, after grabbing a sandwich from Le Dip as well. Our go-to are a Hamburger (w/ reg onions) and a Hamburger (w/ grilled onions). An employee was taking orders for the drive-thru, which always helps speed up the process. Once you round the corner, pay at the first window, and once you round the second corner, you'll receive your order at the second window. We did end up parking and using the restroom before our drive home. Upon entering the establishment, it looks like a line to a Disneyland attraction with the lines but it makes it more efficient, than a makeshift line somewhere. There is also the condiments bar to the right of the cashier. As most In-N-Out locations, the restrooms usually only have 2 stalls so had to wait a bit. The restrooms were also dirty as to be expected. I know employees try to keep the restaurant clean throughout, but with the amount of customers, it's not always possible to keep it spick and span. Overall, always great customer service and the food is always delicious.

I am not that much in fast food but I like double double burger here! Good thing is you already know what you are going to get! I am saying that because some other places for burgers you maybe get surprised sometimes as the quality can change! But here you know the burger is always the same quality! Mostly fast in serving! The price is really good!

I'll keep it simple. It's in n out. Double double. Well done. And fries. California classic. Service was good and fast. The place was clean and Covid safe. Thanks for making my lunch stop a good one. Keep it up guys.

I still love coming to this In and Out. This is my girlfriends favorite spot, since most of her college friends like hanging out here. Last night we all had dinner here. Ordered 10 Double Doubles for a part of 6 lol. Fries, and even some ordered Animal Style Zfries. We all kicked it inside. This place is packed on Friday nights with high schoolers too. Right in the heart of the Irvine shopping center off of the 5 freeway. Great staff and food. Always a pleasure.

I visited this location of In-N-Out Burger yesterday and enjoyed my experience. There is a decent amount of parking around the restaurant. I ordered my usual animal style double double with extra pickles, and it was absolutely delicious. They have the best cheeseburgers around. The inside of the restaurant is big, so there is plenty of seating inside. The service is fairly quick as well. The restaurant is located at the University Town Center near UCI. I recommend this location if you are near the area. It can get crowded, so I recommend arriving early to avoid a long wait. I am always in the mood for In-N-Out.

You can never go wrong with a good in and out burger. The burger tasted amazing as always! And the service was good it did take a while but in and out is always busy. The inside of the fast food joint is a classic 70s burger spot, it usually tries to go for that type of vibe.
