"In-N-Out Burger on Oakport Street in Oakland will close on March 24 due to ongoing issues with crime. The statement from the company indicates that despite efforts to create safer conditions, customers and associates are regularly victimized by car break-ins, property damage, theft, and armed robberies. This location, the only one in Oakland, lasted 18 years and was popular with those traveling to or from Oakland International Airport. Employees will receive severance pay or the option to work at another In-N-Out location." - Paolo Bicchieri

Since this place is officially closed. I should write a review. I had a lot of memories here dating back to when I was in high school back in 2007. When this place first opened up and with Walmart use to be so nearby this was the place to go. Now within 8 years or less we lost all of our sports teams and a plaza that use to be popular. Do better Oakland 😒. Anyway let’s talk more about this In and Out customer service is awesome nice people. Food is great like any other in and out. Thank you to the memories.

The location was off the freeway a little difficulty to get through due to all the fencing around the parking in the near by buildings. Staff was friendly and very fast. I was extremely impressed how fast we received our food on a Friday night. Normally it would take at least 30mins.

Pretty overhyped restaurant, first time trying it and was disappointed. I am from Chicago so I always heard awesome things about it but once I tasted it all my expectations went away. Burger was fresh but nothing really special about it. Fries tasted weird but I knew they were made fresh, I guess thats their style. Would not try it again specially after waiting in line for 25mins.

Every in n out seems to be pretty good, came here a handful of times while working in the area and was my go to for a late night spot to get food. Occasionally the line will be terrible so be ready for that but that's most in n outs. Can't beat the prices though!

First time having In-N-Out. Not a huge fan of the fries but the burgers and shakes were amazing. Definitely looking forward to visiting again next time I'm back in the area!

There are lots of free parking spaces available. Expect to wait in line for drive-through. Service was quicker inside, but their tables were dirty. I had to clean my own table.

Went to In-N-Out for the first time (Canadian here!) and I must say, it definitely does live up to the hype. It's a pretty good burger though the animal style fries might be a bit much for lunch; I'd recommend maybe sharing them with someone instead. The drive-through line also moves surprisingly quickly as they have someone come up to your car window to take your order. That said, the area is not exactly the safest so take heed of the signs instructing you to not leave your bags in the car. Anything can happen, even in broad daylight.

One of the best views and beach access I've experienced in a hotel. As far as the hotel goes, the reasons it doesn't get a five 🌟 are that first, the cleaning staff was incredibly slow and the hot tub was perpetually disgusting over the three nights we stayed here and I'm not that bothered but this was beyond normal dirty hotel hot tub. I was incredibly grateful for the help at the front desk, who gave us an upgrade and put us in an ocean view room on ground level, which was perfect for my wife and I as I made a mistake booking thinking I had booked the oceanside and I almost had to sleep on the beach... The rooms themselves are very small and a bit dated but you don't really notice when you look out the window at that epic view. Beach access was easy and we had a fire on the beach two evenings. All in all, I loved the location and would definitely stay here again.
