In-N-Out Burger

Being from the Portland area, where In-N-Out Burgers are new, few, and far between, it was nice being able to pull up to the drive-thru, place an order, and pick up your meal within five minutes, instead of 45+ (on a good day). Overhyped honestly. Burgers are nothing special and the fries are matching the same energy. We ordered a dbl only ketchup no cheese. The order was put in incorrectly. We confirmed the correct order at the pay window. Since we changed the order to correctly reflect a burger with only ketchup and bun we were told to wait outfront with our hazards on. First coming from someone who has worked in the food industry I get mistakes are made but I also know 1 it only takes a second to put 2 patties and ketchup on a bun and bag it. 2 a mistake on the order side does not mean the person ordering it made the mistake nor should they be made to feel so at the pay window and the pick up window. So we waited a few minutes for the new burger. Order comes out with cool fries and a burger with no ketchup. I get mistakes are mistakes the issue is the response. In my type of work if I bring up a mistake and have to take care of it I need to accept my mistake and address it accordingly.

In-N-Out is a favorite, but it’s never really an “in and out” experience. The wait time usually ranges from 30–45 minutes in the drive-thru, though the line does move fairly quickly. One area that could use improvement is the ordering process—my order is rarely repeated back correctly. I often have to double-check, especially for simple requests like no onions, which are frequently missed unless I ask. Overall, great food, but better order confirmation would make the experience smoother.

The BEST in n out I've ever been to! I've visited quite a few locations throughout California, but this location is AMAZING!! The taste is consistent and delicious Staff is so kind and helpful Always clean .. and even when they've got lines out the front door, they're keeping the place clean Don't be intimidated by the long lines... it moves super fast Totally worth the wait! I've gone 15 mins after they've opened, peak times, and near the end of the night, and throughout the day And they're turning out delicious food with phenomenal service regardless of time of day They work like a well-oiled machine! I want to appreciate the staff working there. They're doing a GREAT job!!! It's become my go-to spot! Even fancy scmancy restaurants don't compare to this location! Highly recommend you visit.. thank me later!

The food is too inconsistent. One day, it's great, the next time, it's horrible. I understand that they have a lot of customers constantly there, but a little more effort in ensuring some consistency would be good. Especially since it's the only In-N-Out within a 15-20 mile radius.

Delicious, fast food every time. While the line can be long for the drive thru, it moves quickly. Sophia was super nice and helpful with our order. She was accurate and friendly. She helped me figure out what I was trying to order- and made it a reality: a protein style, whole grilled onion, mustard fried, Flying Dutchman!!!!! Delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Strawberry milkshake is delicious and thick. Perfect sweet treat to go along with my burger.

Another roadtrip, another stop at an In-N-Out. We ordered some plain Double-Doubles & a plain Cheeseburger. They were good, but our patties seemed a little overcooked. We also ordered some fries "extra well-done". There is no consistency across In-N-Out restaurants about what the cook will end up being. This place produced the most fried version I've had to date. I appreciated the crispiness, but some were borderline bitter with darkness. Ordering fries "well done" here would probably give me my optimum crunch. Compared to a different location about 15 minutes away that we stopped at on another recent roadtrip, we found this menu pricing to be a little more. It was all fine, but perfunctory. Overall, we had a satisfactory drive thru experience.

Kind of a classic in and out, the wait time was really long Friday night at 6 pm. Good: - Very tasty double double burger - very juicy - Good prices - $25 for a combo + 2 double double burgers, much cheaper to feed 2 than anywhere else Bad: - I always feel like I'm unhealthy when I have these - A lot of people filing in and a little dirty, casual ambiance and place Overall wouldn't come unless I'm stopping by for some other important thing

Late Monday lunch - the place was packed but team was really efficient. This place is loud, comes with the environment of course:) For perfect fries: ask for lightly well done - way better crunch then normal ones and super fresh (since it's a special)

In-N-Out Burger what's going on with your burger cooks? I bought 2 Double Double Cheeseburgers & they burnt & crucified the top & bottom buns to the fact that I had to use sliced wheat bread @ home to remake my burger! Your prices have gone up & quality went down! Disappointed

I've been coming here ever since this location opened. The prices have more than doubled since then although I guess that was like 20 years ago. while I don't like the owner's right-wing politics, that doesn't stop me from coming back. This is my favorite fast food chain as the ingredients are fresh such as real fresh potatoes for the fries, and hamburger meat that is never frozen, etc. The burgers are the best and I like that they have some items on the secret menu that you can order as well. PM me if you would like to know what those items are and I would be happy to share.

Disappointed. They got my order very wrong, ordered grilled cheese with whole grilled onion and chilies. When I received my order the cheese wasn't melted, no onions and no chilies and my burger was cold. I think this is the first time in n out has gotten my order so wrong. I also ordered light well fries and these were well done fries. Didn't realize my order was wrong until we were on the road, hopefully this won't happen to anyone else

This In N Out is always pretty busy. After that 9PM time it does get a little slower but the crowd comes back for that late night fix. The prices were just raised as well. The place, even when busy, is pretty clean. If it's super busy and people aren't cleaning after themselves you can always ask for someone to clean the tables for you. The parking area isn't huge and the drive through is always a long line wrapping around from the gas station. In such a small parking lot people still eat in their car. The food has never disappointed me. I have rotated on what I order depending on my mood. But I tend to like my in n out burger simple. No sauce, grilled mustard patty, and the lettuce/tomato/onion on the side Incase I want to eat some on the side. I usually order pickles to go in the cheeseburger or on the side. Other time I get a grilled cheese, extra cheese, wiith a grilled mustard bun. I like in n out fries but I know a lot of people who don't. It's fine by me and I add pepper to my ketchup. I love the option to get the peppers on the side to snack on when you wait for you food. Sometimes I get a root beer float or shake but not often. But I do like getting a Neapolitan shake at times when the mood calls for it. This location always hits the spot for us.

The quality is Great for the price. The employees are always friendly. Hate waiting in line but worth it. Thick slab of lettuce on my Double Double Wow. They don't nickel and dime. On our last visit they threw in some unexpected pepperoncini peppers. I'm loving this operation. They are working hard and sorry I tried to ring the service bell. Service is already great.

Clearly people are into this fast food chain as there are always long lines in the drive through. Personally, I think In-N-Out the worst fast food burger joint I've ever been to! It is bewildering how a place that uses fresh ingredients can massacre them to render them inedible! he french fries taste like stale cardboard (i am not the first to say it). The burgers have tiny patties that are hidden by piles of salty pickles, cheese and dense bread made harder by grilling them on a seasoned flat top that causes the whole burger to become a salt bomb! I couldn't finish my order. it was pretty disgusting TBH. Never again!!

Food always on point never had an incorrect t order. Though the line is always long it goes by quick. Typically I will pull up and be towards the end of the driveway in line but I'm typically out of that line in 30 minutes. Customer service is great too.

This place can NEVER get my food order correct!!! Today I ordered a simple cheese burger animal style (which is NO BUN) to go and my partner ordered just a hamburger no onions to go! Well my cheese burger came on a bun and my partner got grilled onions on his. It was served in an eat in tray not to go! While I realize this place as busy most of the time but c'mon! We called customer service and they were nice enough to send us a gift card to make up for it but I will be using it at the Pleasant Hill location which is 35 minutes away as this place has just gone down hill!

This wasn't just a bad meal -- it was straight-up disrespectful. The burger looked like it got dropped, stepped on, and still made it into the box. Dry patty, greasy onion, zero presentation. Like someone in the back said, "Good enough," and moved on with their life. And the fries? Two sad, half-empty trays of cold, soggy nothing. No salt, no flavor -- just bland disappointment served in bulk. They didn't even pretend to fill the trays. At this point, I think they were trolling me. I paid full price to feel like I was in someone's way. In-N-Out Pinole, this was lazy, careless, and just plain disrespectful. If this is your standard, shut it down or start over.

It's an In-n-Out--it's delicious, reliable and the drive-thru line is always insane. Stopped by here for a quick dinner and we ended up going into the store and eating in the car because the drive-thru line was insane. It was packed but clean, and we got our food relatively quickly. The cashier also gave me hats for the kiddos--kudos for that!

Food is deliciout as always. Staffs are friendly. and close last so nice place to have a later diner.

Update: So apparently in-n-out recently raised their prices again. Instead of trying to improve their profit margin by addressing their soda theft issue, they decided it was better to charge everyone more for food, including the honest folks. Addressing soda theft may not save them much money on soda itself, but it would entice more people to purchase soda because most people do not want to eat burgers and fries with water because it's kind of unappetizing, not to mention they will be giving away less of their single use plastic water cups that mostly end up in landfills. Personally, this point forward, I am going to stop purchasing soda because apparently free soda is part of their secret menu, and I will take advantage of that until they remove it from their secret menu.

I was feeling a little hangry after the flight from LAX. I Made a pit stop on our way from Los Angeles to Sacramento. Pulled up and the drive thru line was long. It was moving very quickly. Our order taker was both prompt s and friendly. We ordered a small strawberry shake, Diet Coke, small seasoned fries & and order of animal fries. Everything was hot and fresh. The seasoned fries were so good that I almost ate all of them. So much for low carbs ‍‍ In-n-Out Burger hot the spot and made the drive to Sacramento so much more easier.

normally, I love In-N-Out Burger, however, tonight was different. I placed my order and everything was fine until I got to the window. Mark gave me my order and I let him know that my burger was made incorrectly. I asked for a double double with extra cheese and grilled onions, when I told him the order was wrong he was very nonchalant. I actually flipped through the burger with my fingers and told him that it had no grilled onions or any sauce on the burger. It was just plain he told me I can give you some grilled onions on the side with a sarcastic remark. I said why would I want that on the side when I asked for them on my burger he then said I can take your burger and remake it for you. I said sure however he came with the same burger with burnt onions placed on top. It was very charred as well as not right and when I explained to him that this is ridiculously wrong, he thought nothing of it. He did nott offer a refund and he did not offer to remake the burger. I feel like this establishment values their customers and for him to act that way, I was really shocked. I drove off upset I didn't get down to the bottom of talking about my animal fries that had barely anything on them. I just drove off because Mark was so in a hurry. I never had this experience, but I thought I would share it

I understand that in n out asks for public service provides to be in uniform, but to me it shows a lack of respect and care if they aren't and want to eat at in n out on their day off. Also, what's up with the ice at this location? It isn't a traditional pebble ice. Boooo!

I love that In-n-out is always so consistent! The quality and taste is the same almost everywhere but if you have a special/complicated order they sometimes get it wrong here. I order the extra toasted bun, whole grilled onions, and whole raw onions and I'm usually always missing some kind of onion. They are usually pretty busy so come early or during off hours!

I always enjoy how well run this particular In-N-Out in Pinole. From the person who takes the order outside, to the person who takes the payment, to the person who gives the food, everything is well done. These kids give eye contact and a smile. I'm not sure if they're trained to do that or not, but I appreciate it a lot. My order was correct and the food was delicious. It's a win! Thank you

Worst in n out in the bay always getting orders wrong or forgetting something . Need training at this location

In-N-Out is my go-to restaurant for burgers and shakes. They recently had price changes but it's still affordable and reasonable. Service is consistently good. Premises are clean and ample parking.

Drive thru at this location takes foreverrrrr. Multiple In N Outs in Bay Area with huge lines that move but this one struggles with their timing. Also, one of the few IN N OUTS where there is ALWAYSSS someone's car getting broken into. I try to avoid this one as much as I can, had to visit yesterday for a child with picky eating and it took over 40 minutes (3:30pm not peak lunch hours) for a kids grilled cheese only.

Fried were only half filled. I ordered regular fries and was given extra crispy fries. Also got a protein style and my lettuce wrap was flimsy and half wilted. Really disappointing.

Love living near an In N Out for a conveniently tasty and affordable meal. This location gets pretty busy, especially in the evenings but the quality, service and ambiance is the same. My usual cheeseburger animal style (with everything on it) and extra crispy cheese fries are always a winner. If I'm feeling indulgent, I throw in a Neopolitan milkshake for dessert. The workers are awesome and seem to really love their jobs - they do get very competitive pay and benefits. This Bay Area fast food classic will never go out of style!

Only the best Burgers in the world. Been going since 1992. This when they were only in SoCal. Luckily they expanded to NorCal and I been going every week since car.

Always consistent in customer service and quality of food! Been going to this in n out periodically for the last 20 years and it's still the same. Skip the drive thru and go inside if you don't want to be in an extremely long line. Even if it is busy, tables usually clear up by the time your food is done.

Always good. The fastest in n out I've been too. Walk in is better than drive thru. Food is always good. Yesterday my order was completely wrong. I ordered one burger whole grill and the other regular grilled onion. Both my burgers came with no onion and one of them came with extra tomato. The number corresponded to my number as well.

It's been awhile since I've written a review for an In N Out. Wanted to give an updated one "post-Covid". It is Wednesday night, placed my order for 2 double doubles at 7:13pm, got my order 7:31pm. 18 min wait for 2 double doubles. Not sure if worth it lol. This was ordering inside. I'm not sure if it would have taken longer or not at the drive through. Personally I've found that ordering inside is faster than the drive through, but after 18 minutes today, I'm not so sure... Also I haven't eaten In N Out in awhile--since when had a double double been $5.05?!! Wow...I remember when...it wasn't..$5.05...

This in n out is more closer to where I live but as usual they always deliver . Nothing to complain about affordable prices but good quality food that everyone enjoys , the service goes by fairly fast and the man at the window was very nice and patient ,his name was Casey I believe 10/10!

In N Out is delicious! My go to order is a cheeseburger, all veggies on it with chopped chilis. As for the fries, I got it light well. Try it light well, it's better than regular fries. The drive thru line will be long during the lunch/dinner rush so be prepared to wait but the line does move quickly. In N Out has never disappoint me.

When are we not craving In N Out burgers? Even after trying gourmet burgers and other fast food options, In N Out still ranks the top of my list. Food: Unlike other fast food places, I don't feel sluggish after eating food here, as their food always tastes fresh. I love ordering a regular hamburger or double double (2x the meat and cheese) with regular onions (although you have the option for grilled onions) and no tomato. For fries, we always do animal style. I do wish they would layer the sauce and cheese throughout the fries instead of putting it all on top, though. Drinks: I love ordering the milkshakes from the secret menu, so I alternate between the Neapolitan milkshake and a Root beer float. Highly recommend pairing these with your burgers. Drive thru: You will always see a huge drive thru line for In N Out. It does extend past the gas station, though it usually goes by quickly. Dining: Currently, indoor dining is unavailable. They have placed cards on each table and a sign on the door to inform customers. Outdoor seating is available, but extremely limited as there are only 8 tables. Customer service: In N Out is known for their great customer service. Never had a bad experience here. A bonus for the holidays is that they have decorated take out bags and cups!

Always fresh. Always busy. Always worth it. I always get a grilled cheese ( no meat) add pickles.

*My girl Leilani in Drive thru* Have you ever met a person in passing and something about them just pulled you in? Like you couldn't look away. Their good vibe was all of a sudden, your good vibe. You instantly knew in the real world you'd want to be bffs with this person. That's my girl Leilani from drive thru! Bloody infectious smile. Inviting aura. She's not even trying to be cool, she just is. In and out is never a miss. BUT what a plus it was today when I had the pleasure of meeting Leilani in drive thru. Leilani, your drive Thru Irish cousin here sending you good jou jou and letting everyone know - don't mess with Leilani. I'm her new ride or die now ;) In and out you better put some respect on my girl. Even the cars behind be were all having great conversations with Leilani as they waited to pull forward.

They offer my favorite burger only next to my own. I enjoy the made to order burger, hand cut fries and milkshake made with real icecream. My only complaint is the line, which is not their fault, but just a testimony of the greatness of their burgers.

I was trying order my food and Sofia the cashier wouldn't take my order because she saw me that I was Hispanic. She said " I don't speak Spanish" and I was talking in English. I felt discriminated because she saw me that I was Hispanic and thought I didn't speak English. Bad experience

It's my neighborhood burger place and we liked going inside to have a burger every now and then......not anymore. 2 weeks ago we walked in, ordered our food, and looked for a table to sit then turned back around to the counter, got a refund and left. Tables all taken? Nope. Not hungry? Nope. Had an emergency? Nope. Actually, there were plenty of empty tables but they were filthy (yuck) along with the lobby floor (gross) and behind the counter (disgusting). In the last 6 months this place has gone downhill. The floors behind the counter and in the lobby were littered with trash and food, the tables were filthy with spills, crumbs, & ? and when they do get 'cleaned' (using that term loosely) they use a nasty wet towel. The real question is why doesn't management care to fix it? Idk but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they start to care. So therefore for the time being I will not be returning to this location until they can get it together.

Pretty standard in n out. Great service, food is always fresh and hot. They recently opened the inside for inside ordering during covid. You can dine in your car, eat outside, or just bring the food home. Always a line here, but they're fast to get you in n out!

Great In and Out, very clean and service was quick. The parking lot and seating area were on the smaller side but were still able to find a spot!

I have been living in the East Coast for the past few years, and before I moved I bragged about In-N-Out burger, let's just say I'm glad I have gone to other one's since. Let's start with the fries --- salted beyond belief. Have you ever had that sensation when you have so much salt on your fingers you hear the sound when it hits the paper bag? Well, that's how much they salt their fries. I thought it was a one time thing, but when you watch their line cooks pouring the salt on the fries, you'd think they'd get paid more to puor so much! Asking for lighted salted doesn't work either. The meat is hit or miss and almost always the buns are nearly charred around the edges. I don't know if this is a recent issue, or if this is new management, but if I am having people visit me and I want to take them to In-N-Out, this location would not be where I would take them for their first experience!

Fast, efficient and friendly service at a sensible price. A vegi option would be an excellent addition to your menu.

A staple in California and the Bay Area. And a very popular spot with amazing food and ambiance. Coming into In N out I expected a delicious meal for a low price and was not disappointed. the meal was very delicious and couldn't have asked for a better burger and fries. The buns from the burger were well made, not too toasted but not too soft while the animal fries came with above average serving size and were not made too salty or were over cooked. During this trip I really liked how the ambiance and the service was, the workers were very respectful and the environment was also very welcoming which made this experience very good. Overall, I would 100% recommend!

My double double well toasted with mustard, extra pickles and raw onion was perfect! The quality of the meat comes through and is very tasty. I don't like the fries because they don't have enough flavor and are always under salted and undercooked to me. I only go for the burgers so I'm happy enough. The milkshakes are delicious and taste like shakes of olden days! Usually crowded but drive through lines go pretty fast unless you go at prime times. I don't usually eat in because it can get rather noisy and I like a peaceful meal.

Always a favorite. I came home and was lazy after work. But then I woke up later in the evening and needed to eat and had no idea what to do. Ooh! Let's go to in-n-out. When I have no time restrictions and it is after traffic rush hour, in-n-out is always an idea on the list. I got there and jumped in the drive-thru line. From start to finish, I was in line and out in 20 minutes. Y'all know that's not bad. I ordered a #3 - hamburger with onions, fries and a root beer. My burger was perfect and delicious. I ate it happily in my car.
