In-N-Out Burger

We had the grilled cheese and animal fries with hot cocoa and a chocolate shake. It hit the spot and was delicious.

I hadn't been here in quite a while, but nothing has changed. Great service, friendly employees, wonderful burgers, all in all, just a great place to get a quick bite. Don't worry if there is what seems to be a very long line. It's movies fast and your order will be correct. This ain't no Mickey Dees.

I love In N Out and it’s everywhere in California. Still best burger. I came here to eat lunch and surprisingly decent amount of people in dine in.

Same layout as all other In-N-Out restaurants, but wanted to post here about the phenomenal service and these fun tap-like dispensers of ketchup.

Unfortunately, this is by far the worst In-N-Out location in the Bay Area. The team taking orders outside in the parking line is great super efficient and friendly. But once you step inside, the experience completely changes. The girls handing out the orders have the worst attitude. You’ll have to repeat yourself five times if you need something as simple as a fork. And don’t even bother asking for a knife not only will they tell you “we don’t have knives at In-N-Out,” but they’ll do it with the most dismissive tone. It’s really disappointing, especially considering how good the service is at other locations. Definitely not the standard you’d expect from In-N-Out.

It’s an In-N-Out off the freeway in Antioch. There are no surprises here. The service is polite and efficient, the place is clean, the food is moderately priced and absolutely the same every time. They pull off the rare feat of serving decent food in a balanced choreography of automation and personalization.

Was not going to leave a review because I've done it several times at In-N-Out. As usual a place with spotless the service was awesome, the young lady behind the counter was friendly and very helpful. I ordered a double double Animal style with extra onion and extra grilled onion no pickle and my fries like well. The food was absolutely perfect. I couldn't have done a better if I tried it was so so tasty. I had to leave a review and said they did an extra expert great job today. Hit it out of the ballpark again In-N-Out. And I will be back oh the ambience was chill, of course.

Need a quick bite to eat? Just look in the sky for the crossed palm trees and you're rescued. In N Out Burger is the best place to go when you're looking to eat good on the go, fast service and even better tasting food. The Double double with cheese is my all time favorite meal here, don't forget to try to animal fries either; you won't be disappointed.

The food was of excellent quality. Very photogenic. The staff was outstanding. The entire place was spotless. Everything was neatly arranged. Despite the lunch rush, everything went smoothly, quickly, and efficiently during our visit. It was definitely worth coming here.

this was my in n out growing up, so it was so nice to be back and try it out. since i pulled up around 2PM, there wasnt much of a line, compared to late night hours. i ordered their flying dutchman and special fries this time. my friends w me all got #1s both items were spectacular and delivered, like always. im also that guy that gets their hot chocolate, but it is always with their marshmallows

Review is strictly based on customer service. Came to this location and was greeted by the best smile. Santi was so nice and attentive. Give him a raise and employee of the month.

Line is always super long, but someone comes down the line to take your order. Workers are quick and nice food is always on point!

This in n out is busy just like the others, so we decided to go inside, as that typically goes quicker than the drive through. They served us pretty fast but when my mom tried to ask for more ketchup -- politely, I might add -- the person who had passed by just ignored her and purposely didn't make eye contact with us. I laughed and said rather loudly, "she hella ignored you!" The girl must have heard me then because she begrudgingly turned around with a forced smile and my mom finally was able to ask for some ketchup.

In-n-out usually doesn't disappoint and I like coming here because it's consistent and usually always good. This time it was not. I ordered a cheeseburger with grilled onions and animal fries. The burger patty was nearly non existent it was so small and all the produce was floppy and not fresh looking and was missing pickles. The animal fries were awful - it was a congealed ball of potato that was just pure mush and completely inedible. Disappointed to say the least.

Okay, so I don't typically eat burgers, but I was craving one (my body probably needed some iron) and I hadn't been to an In-N-Out in at least 25 years. The staff was attentive, the burger and fries were yummy, the service was fast, what more can I say!

Whenever we go on a roadtrip, in-n-out is a must have for me! First time coming to this location and the service is extremely slow. 20 min wait drive thru with just 5 cars in front, typically faster in other areas. I will say, their food was sooooo fresh!! Probably the freshest I've ever had. The employees working there were really nice as well!

Please fix the horrible bathroom smell. The second you walk inside, the disgusting smell hits you and ruins your appetite. We were craving in-n-out and once we walked inside we just decided to leave, it smelled too bad.

As much as my husband and I eat in n out I have to say today definitely has been the worst by far. I've sat in line 45 minutes I've had order made wrong I've had rude customer service but never ever have I had hair in my food until today. It's possibly the worst thing that could happen in my opinion. I'm absolutely disgusted by this and after spending 30 bucks each visit I except better. We go typically weekly to this location no matter what but that may change now. I definitely know it's not one of mine as I have red and purple hair which is very easy to spot. You guys have to do better for your customers.

This was my 1st time trying In-N-out. I wasn't disappointed. It gives you a portillos feel. The burger and fries were pretty good, so was the shake. The prices were reasonable. The place is good, not great, I'd go there again for a quick meal.

Awesome place Always have been here whenever I'm craving for a burger. 99% of the time I usually take the drive thru but my few experiences inside the restaurant myself were nice, the staff were nice and the place was clean. The lines for the drive thru can get pretty big, but hey that means good service, am I wrong? The person at the drive thru is always nice and asks first if I want onions. They've also never gotten any orders I wanted wrong which is outstanding based on the amount of customers they get at times. Overall a great place to get a simple burger when it isn't exactly around breakfast/lunch/dinner, otherwise just expect a bit of a wait.

Just wow. Ok so we love these burgers and fries and service. But I've recently experienced what In-N-Out corporate is like and I am soooo impressed! Their customer service goes above and beyond! I recently went thru the drive thru and noticed my 7-up was not sweet, the syrup part wasn't working and it was all soda. So when I got home I called just to let them know. I wasn't upset but wanted to make it nicer for the next person. I evidently got a corporate person and they personally answered immediately (which is a miracle in of itself!) and when I told them what happened they apologized, said they would let the branch know and asked if they could send me a gift card for my trouble. I said sure, and I was a little dumbfounded. Sure enough, I got 2 gift cards for 2 full meals in the mail along with a signed nice letter thanking me for letting them know and apologizing again. Today they called me to ask if my experience when I used the gift cards was a good one and was there anything else they could do for me. Whaaaaaat!? WOW! Thank YOU In-N-Out for restoring my faith in customer appreciation and service! Other companies should take note and follow in your footsteps! Well done!!

O.K. Is it just me? I always order extra spread/sauce on my burgers. For the past six months, even with asking for extra spread/sauce, I barely have even the regular amount you would expect. At first, I thought maybe they were just off a couple of times. However, this seems weird. Did some directive go out to reduce the amount of spread used?

A must if visiting California, and a staple if you live here. Simple yet immaculate food, friendly and helpful employees, and that classic burger joint vibe that just makes you want to consume more fat and calories than you really should.

Huge fan/supporter of In-n-Out, but this location never seems to be up to par compared to other locations. Service is not the best due to the constant mistakes to our orders. The pro being that it is never as busy as any other location we have been to.

I've loved In-N-Out Burger for a very long time. All I can say is that the menu and the taste of the burger has not changed. Still very good and has not lost that twang (that special sauce). One thing I learned about this place recently though is that they do not have bacon or out BACON in their burgers, good to know right? If you know In-and Out you would know they have other things they serve that's not on the menu but I can't tell you :). You'll have to find out for your self. So I went through the drive thru and it was pretty fast. Literally in-n-out. Living up to its name. The girl at the window was all smiles which is what we all want to see when at the drive thru. My food came fresh and I could not wait to eat it. This place does not disappoint. Still love it!!!

Allison was amazing today. She went out of her way to provide the best service I ever had at a restaurant let alone a fast food restaurant. She checked in on people eating, took orders, cleaned on down time, and was super friendly. Also, the food was good as always!

Burger is ok, but fries are very salty i couldnt finish all. I will avoid this place for next in and out.

When I was there, the place was hopping with customers. I was picking up take out. As busy as it was, my order came in a reasonable time. The people that I interacted with were helpful, clean cut and very friendly. My experience was great.

So just because of the staff isnt on their A game my dog thats my family member doesnt get to eat plus I payed for his pup patty , thats why u guys get a 1 star

I always love coming to in n out. Though this location royally messed up our order. We were very clear when ordering but when upon paying at the window the order was wrong. Things had sauce or onions that were not supposed to and a grilled cheese somehow was put as a cheeseburger which would have been bad news bears for one of the vegetarians including myself. At this window we changed the order and repeated it and made sure it was right. Upon getting our meal it was still wrong. There was sauce missing from burgers, regulars onions vs no onions vs grilled onions. This was just a bad experience to get the correct the we ordered which did not even happen. Beside the mixed order in n out food is always great. I like their food and always get the fries well done. Make sure to ask for extra sauce and you could keep it at home.

38 minutes for 2 plain hamburgers, 1 cheeseburger, and 3 fries. Overcharged me too so i got a refund in cash. It's annoying because no one even pays in cash anymore. Slow service and needs better management

The drive thru line was less than 10 minutes long when we went for lunch on a Sunday and the trees shade the line while you wait! Everything else is as you would expect from from an In-N-Out, but this wait time exceeded expectations!

So I've been going to In-N-Out since I lived in LA way back - when In1n-Out basically was a LA area thing. Still love the double-double animal style too good and tasty. These days it is usually just a cheeseburger animal style. Hold the pickles and add extra grilled onions with raw onions - and I am a happy camper. As usually they delivered what I ordered perfectly made. The place as clean enough to eat off the floor and service was friendly and fast.

Last night I took my family to have dinner at the In-N-Out in Pittsburg/Antioch, CA; my wife pointed out the free, hot cocoa sign that was on display on the counter, so we decided, after having dinner, we will enjoy some hot cocoa for dessert. After finishing our dining meal, I went up to order a large strawberry shake and free hot cocoa's. I noticed my total was increasing as I was ordering the hot cocoa's, and was confused as to why free, hot cocoa's was increasing my total; when I completed payment, I saw that I was charged for 2 hot cocoa's. When our number was called and I went to pick up my order, I said some thing about being charged for the free hot cocoa's to the short, east Asian looking gentleman who I believe is a manager; this gentleman very unprofessionally questioned me and the weather, insinuating that it had not been a rainy day when actually it had rained all morning long, and then proceeded to further question me asking me what hours it was raining that day; the gentleman then went on to say that if it's raining when the restaurant opens then they usually have that deal going and I said yes! that's probably why the sign is on the counter, because it was raining all morning. I usually never have a complaint about my visit to In-N-Out, but last night was not a good visit after dealing with this unprofessional manager, and being overcharged for free, hot cocoa.

Probably just had the most disappointing experience in my life at an In-N-Out... I always get my fries well-done and I never have a problem with them, but today, they served me the WORST FRIES EVER! They were practically burnt (see attached photo) and so unappealing to look at and tasted like I was eating crunchy oil. So disgusting. And I asked for my burger without onions, as I normally do, but they served mine with grilled onions????? I didn't hear when the cashier repeated the order as I walked away (my boyfriend paid) so I wasn't able to correct him, and that's why they get 2 stars instead one 1. But overall very disappointing visit as I mentioned before my fries were always crispy but NOT BURNT when asked for as well done. I don't plan on coming back to this INO, I'll stick to the one in Pleasant Hill.

I have been here a few times since SIP and the line looks crazy but it actually goes by really quick. The quality of the food is exactly the same. They have more people taking orders and getting those in so the line moves fast. They also confirm your order a few times by different people before you get to the window to eliminate any errors that may occur. There are cones set out for the drive-through to make is as easy as they can for their customers since it is a lot longer line than normal. So glad they stayed open though the shutdown, looking forward to more In n Out!

I hate to do this because I love In N Out so much, it's the GREATEST OF ALL TIME in my honest opinion, but this was my worst In N Out experience ever. Servers were just okay, not your typical jumping with joy employees, and Im not expecting that, but a little more enthusiasm and welcome would be cool, didn't really get that here. But whatever I'm not here about that. The food at this location is why Im currently writing this review, the morning after, while I'm sitting on the toilet at work. The food messed me up. The burger looked legit at first, but once I bit into it, I felt like the meat wasn't that hot and seemed a little undercooked. You know that creamy texture/taste when you bite into undercooked meat? Yeah I had that here, and it looked undercooked too (mind you rare is the way to go with steak, but this is in n out). The burger itself kinda fell apart too, it wasn't organized once you dig in, and it was SUPER messy to eat. It was SUPER wet too, I love my wet cold vegetables, but not like to the point where it makes the burger soggy. Also, the bread was NOT it. You know how at in n out it has a crispy almost crunchy texture but it's buttery and fluffy once you bite? No dude, not here. It was really sad bread. And in n out fries already are subpar by default but they were cold, and the animal style fries were super sad, the cheese wasn't really melted, and not enough onions and topping as they skimped out on it. EDIT: For some odd reason, it was hella salty too. I'd skip out on this location, seems like other Yelpers are eh about this one too. No lie, I'm thinking about running it back here at my local in n out today for lunch just to make up for last night's super weak experience.

My favorite food is the burger. I can eat them all day, every day. I love burgers. That being said, I take it upon myself to taste every type of burger I come across in my life, whether it is made from a franchise or mom and pop shop. The Double Double burger from the In N Out franchise is spectacular. In my opinion, it is perfectly made. You have toasted buns. They are the ones that are baked using slow rising sponge dough. This makes the burger so easy to eat since the buns are spongy. Two slices of American cheesy..MmMm cheexy. Lettuce, Onions, and tomatos are always fresh. Last, but not least, you get the spread which tastes very similar to thousand island dressing. All this assembled, makes a very tasty, delicious, mouth watering burger. I personally like to get the Double Double with everything and both kinds of onions (regular and grilled). You can also get a Double Double animal style too. This style of burger has lettuce, tomato, a mustard cooked beef patty; add pickle, extra spread with grilled onion. The fries are ok. I've had fries better elsewhere, but at least they are cooked with 100% sunflower oil and are hand cut which makes it unique. I do, however, like their Animal Style Fries. The fries consist of the spread, cheese, and grilled onions on top of the fries. They then warm it up which melts the cheese making it oh so yummy. I also do want to mention the shakes here. The Neapolitan shake is really good. It has Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry. Goes really well with your burger meal as it balances the heaviness of the burger. In N Out as a franchise I definitely give 5 stars; but for this location in Pittsburg (which is closest to me) I would give 4.5 stars. Sometimes this location can be a bit inconsistent and I would know since I frequent here a lot.

Good hamburgers. Baffled by folks who say their "order" was messed up. First, go inside. Don't wait in line in your car, like you are on Hwy 4. Order from the menu- Say " cheese burger, no onions please, fries and a large drink?" Don't be complicated. Just order from the menu. Works every time.

Damn worst experience ever at In n out first we had hair on our food that should've been our sign to get out, but we let them make our food again then they toasted the inside of my bread on my burger sooo much it was like a rock. So i asked them to just give me my bread without toasting it and just ruined the rest of my meal sorry never coming back again. I usually don't write reviews but i felt this deserved one

There was absolutely no line when i picked up lunch from the drive thru on Veteran's Day. My bf, who is a veteran, was stuck working while I had the day off, and this location is near his clinic so I grabbed burgers and fries to go. All the employees were really nice, from the guy who took my order, to Kendra accepting payment at the window, to the girl who gave me our delicious order. 2 Mustard fried burgers, one of them protein style (no bun), and generous servings of fries. Yum!

Stopped by on our way back from a day trip. This location is super convenient to stop at. It is located right off the freeway exit and you can easily get back on the highway. This location like every other location always has a long line but they moved through us quickly so don't be afraid of the line! There was a mix up with our order though. When we got to the pay window the entire order was rung up incorrectly. They quickly corrected it for us. Then when we got the food there was a slight onion mix up and because of some other modifications the two burgers couldn't swap them but that's ok. Its just onions. The fries were deliciously crispy. Make sure to ask for spread packets for some delicious dipping and the burgers were super juicy. Mmmm I think I need to visit again soon!

Double cheeseburger with chopped chili and grilled onions! I dined in at in and out today, and the service was outstanding. They were crazy busy but we managed to get our food in a timely manner. One of the staff members was cleaning the tables, sweeping, and she even asked me if I needed anything. Exceptional service for a fast food place.

Went to the drive thru, ordered a double-single but only got 1 patty. Just got off work and im tired so i didn't really wanna go back there and get my order right.

What can you say about these places that isn't any different from every other location? Well for instance this one even though it's right off the freeway doesn't have a extremely long line and they go through it pretty quickly. The speed and efficiency is what stood for me at this location. If your on the 4 and need something good and quick you can't miss with this one.
