Food is great, service is great. BUT Beware of the customers (like the car in front of me pictured) in the drive through that don’t know how to read the signs that say there are two lanes that merge into one. Everyone knows how busy it is at In n Out and the line is built this way to prevent cars from blocking traffic. So, be aware and read the signs before honking and making us all mad. If you’re coming to this location, read the signs. Don’t be the person who doesn’t understand how merging and traffic rules work. Other than this - the In N Out Pleasant Hill location is great!

“Security Guard Shows No Compassion at In-N-Out, always on phone” Today around 11:30am at the In-N-Out Burger in Pleasant Hill, I witnessed something that left me shaken. A homeless gentleman came in clearly hungry and looking through the trash for food. Instead of showing compassion, the security guard immediately told him to leave and escorted him off the property. I went outside and told the guard I would be happy to buy the man lunch and let him sit outside to eat it. The guard refused and said “absolutely not.” When I said that was unprofessional and explained it’s Labor Day weekend and we should all show compassion, the guard became even ruder. As I went back inside to speak with the manager, the security guard actually threatened me with trespassing if I continued. I explained the situation to the manager, but the whole experience was very upsetting. Security at this location is always on their phones, not watching the property, and when faced with a chance to show basic humanity, they acted without compassion. I frequent this In-N-Out often and the staff are usually very nice, but this incident was unacceptable. Security should protect customers—not intimidate them or mistreat people in need.

These guys took and delivered 50 orders by the time i finished eating at the table. Bonkers. Consistently good food. Can’t wait to eat here again. Heads up the parking lot was a little trickier than usual for my first time coming but im sure there is a reason for it with the way the cross streets and the other businesses around it are set up

A Classic Taste, But Not Quite the Same I was really looking forward to revisiting In-N-Out Burger on this trip; it’s one of those iconic West Coast spots that I’ve always associated with nostalgia and delicious burgers. However, while the burger was good, it didn’t quite live up to my memory. The fresh ingredients, classic sauce, and soft buns are all still there, but the flavor just didn’t hit the way it used to. The experience is definitely enjoyable if you’re looking for a quick, classic burger, and the prices are reasonable. But if you’re in search of a truly standout burger, you might find other options like Habit Burger to be a bit more satisfying. In-N-Out will always be a solid choice, but for me, it’s lost a bit of its magic. Still worth a visit for the memories and the fresh ingredients, though!

Dear In and out burger I’m writing to let you know about an issue I experienced at your restaurant today, 10/27/25, between 12:30 AM and 12:40 AM. I was served a double double burnt bun, and I politely asked the staff to replace it, explaining the reason clearly. Unfortunately, the replacement that was brought to me was even worse than the first one. I didn’t want to make a scene, so I left quietly without eating—but I still paid for my order. The burgers are fresh and perfectly cooked, the fries are golden and crisp, and you can’t beat a classic vanilla shake to top it off. The restaurant and outdoor seating area are always clean and well-maintained, which makes dining here a pleasure. They handle busy times like pros, ensuring the quality and consistency you expect from In-N-Out. Highly recommend for a quick, delicious bite in Pleasant Hill!

Excited to try while in CA. Ordered a single cheeseburger and fries and vanilla shake. Waited 20 minutes. Burger was amazing, the fries were bland. No salt and had no flavor. They forgot my shake and when I got my order I let them know. They acted like I was trying to steal. Showed my receipt and they went back and made it. While there I saw a lot of people only getting a burger, now I know why. Pretty good prices though.

The craving was there, and wasn’t going to dismissed without being satisfied. I braved the mile long line, gave the wonderful guy with a smile my order, more waiting. I expected the wait and anxiously inched forward, closer and closer to the window to pay, my mouth salivating as I now inchedeven closer and closer to the pick up window. The young man at the window smiled, confirmed my order and handed my order over. I quickly pulled out and reached over to sample my animal fries. Much to my disappointment they were cold, not lukewarm, COLD. I reach for the burger, and disappointment hits again, COLD. I’m now in traffic, too busy to turn around and sit in that long line again, places to go, business to take care of. Warm buns that get cold are not tasty, neither are cold beef patties. Sooooo disappointing.

In-N-Out is a California classic, and the Concord spot holds it down. I've had my fair share of burgers over the years, but nothing hits like a Double with Cheese hold the lettuce. Because let's be real, I'm not here for a salad. Everything Animal Style, of course, because that's the only way to live. Well done fries, Animal Style too, drowning in all that cheesy, saucy goodness. And fuhgedaboudit don't even talk to me if there's no extra spread to dip an absolute must! This place is always busy. Like, lines-stretching into the next zip code busy lol. And don't get me started on people who cut in the drive-thru like they're VIPs at a burger club. I swear, some days I consider hopping out of my car to throw hands, but I'm working on my patience : ) Prices are still solid, the staff is always friendly, and the place stays clean well, depending on the hour. Late night weekends? That's when the chaos kicks in. Tables full, floors looking like a fry graveyard, and the entire city deciding they need a burger at the exact same time. But hey, that's just part of the In-N-Out experience. If you haven't been, what are you even doing with your life lol? Get in line (literally) and get yourself a real burger.

Stopped by this In-N-Out location as my wife had not had In-N-Out in over a decade and was craving a burger. Like most locations, this In-N-Out is incredibly busy! With huge drive thru queues outside, and large number of people waiting for their orders inside. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, but snagging a table will still be a bit of a challenge as this place is usually packed. Their PA system also pipes outside, so you'll be able to hear your order called regardless of where you opt to sit. And they regularly come by to wipe down tables so you usually don't have to do so after someone leaves. In-N-Out food is consistently delicious, and this location is no exception. Every staff member we encountered here was exceptionally friendly, and parking is readily available in the shared lot of this large strip mall. Don't forget In-N-Out's secret menu if you're looking for more out-of-the-box options!

Ever since I had a hamburger from In N Out last month, I've been obsessed!!!! I like their fries occasionally, ESPECIALLY when they're super crispy and crunchy and extra well done. Last night was a pretty good night. They were busy but didn't seem overwhelmingly busy like I've seen the past few times I've gone there. My daughter and I walked over to grab some dinner. When we originally left with the food, my young girl and I had a few fries. They were slightly lacking in doneness. Also, when I looked, I THOUGHT I saw a bun around my burger when I wanted protein style. They also put tomatoes on mine which I hadn't wanted, but I just took them off to give to my kiddo. When I walked back in to talk about my burger and the fries, the manager pointed out to me my mistake but also remade fries to get them more well done and crunchy for us. As I ate the burger there seemed to be some paper in it, but I just tried removing it. Anyway, point is that it's great customer service when they try to fix things for you without fighting and arguing. I was also calm and not attempting to escalate anything myself. As far as seating goes, my baby and I sat and waited on a small couch area across from the counters. We were taking the food to go and walking home anyway, so no need to find a table. I like the ones outside though.

In-N-Out Burger!! Hmm... I didn't know what to write, but Yelp keeps telling me to write something!! Haha. I think it's the best among all franchise burgers! My all-time favorite was always the Double-Double with Fries, but after trying the 3x3 recently, my favorite has changed. Still, it's a bit too much to eat the 3x3 every time. Haha.

Customer service is remarkable. Food is always fresh. Kids love it. Staff are friendly and engaging.

Glad this franchise only increased their prices slightly. They have good customer service. Employees seem happy and smiling. And, there's no annoying kiosks to take your order. Food is always fresh and cooked to order.

I hate this in-n-out location. This place has gone way down hill. Things are really bad here. Huge problems.

In-N-Out Burger is one of my favorite fast food places to eat. There's a small handful of burger places that I put pretty high up on a pedestal as my favorites. While I think there are a few places I would put ahead in and out in terms of being my favorite burgers, What I like about In-N-Out Burger is it's consistent. No matter what location you go to the food the service everything is the same. The staff is always helpful, and the times for the food, not too bad. They have an efficient ordering system for when it gets crowded and they take good care of the customers. Today I tried a hidden manual item that I was just made aware of, I ordered a double double mustard fried, which essentially the patties are fried in mustard, and it comes with pickles and tomatoes. Of course I had them hold the tomatoes. It was pretty good, it adds a little burger and a nice added flavor . One try if you haven't had it yet

It's such a basic answer but yes, my favorite burger is In-N-Out. Consistently great. Perfect ratio of ingredients. The burger is SEASONED (rare for a lot of other places I've tried). And sure, the drive through is long but it's generally quick. Every In-N-Out is essentially the same which is to say every one of them is essentially perfect.

I don't know that I've ever had a bad experience at any In-n-Out Burger. The only " bad " thing is they are usually very busy and there is a long line, but that is testament to the consistently good food, good service, and the fact that it's worth the wait.

In and Out. I'm in the cult. Look at the lines. It just can't be wrong. Crave inducing. Best description. I have never driven down at 11 o'clock to get a burger because I couldn't sleep thinking about it so bad. That has never happened just to be clear. Lol.

Will never be back to this in and out...went in line that wraps around and waited my turn to be accused by Paublo that I'm cutting in line and asked to go back and get in the same hoop circle I was just in to wait again...are you kidding me...poor customer service!!!!!

I just left the store after cancelling my order because the woman at the register tried to steal $4.92 from me like a scammer. I placed two orders and she gave me the chance from one and tried to confuse me out of the change from the second one. She acted stupid and gaslit me. I cancelled both orders and demanded my money back and told people to count their change in the line. Host Graciela Receipts 30022 and 30023. I loved this restaurant. It's Christmas Eve.

Very disappointed. Double Double was overly salty . We also order a cheese burger disgusting. We haven't been to in-n-out for 5 years . I will definitely never waste my time or health on this restaurant again. Oh ya almost forgot we found hair in our burgers . Thank you for the extra piece .

How can you not love this place? I come here all the time and never had a bad experience. Definitely a lot faster to order versus drive through!

I ordered the $6 Double cheeseburger meal and I noticed the chicken nuggets seemed to old and hard. But I finished my mini meal and put everything in the McDonald's bag and balled it up. Then I notice a Maggot inching along where I had set my chicken McNuggets. I will never eat at McDonald's ever again.

Food is as good as any other In N Out but they have GOT TO get the drive thru wait time under control. People cutting lines, honking horns, taking 45 min to get food. They need another location nearby to take this lines

I went yesterday December 18 at 3pm. The wait inside was fast, about 15 minutes while the drive through had about 50-60 cars. 2 animal style cheeseburgers were fine. However they came in a torn bad with mustard all over. When I asked if they could rebag the messy they handed me a bag do I asked for a box and handled it myself. It's too bad they don't have the paper mats for your lap. People were very distracted but they did keep the place clean. Hope it was just too busy a day. Prices don't come down when they are busy. Service needs attention.

I can't think of a single place that sells burgers at a better cost to taste ratio. Even if it wasn't cheap, this would still be a top tier burger. I've seen a lot of people outside of California claim that In-N-Out is overrated and doesn't taste exceptional in any way, and I think I know where they may be coming from. In my opinion, what really amplifies the taste of their offerings is their secret menu, most notably getting things animal style. Additionally, I think their fries ordered "as is" tend to taste under-salted and aren't very crispy. However, my personal fav is ordering them either well done or extra well done, then adding additional salt and pepper myself. Despite their secret menu being common knowledge amongst Californians, I do think it's unfortunate that these options aren't officially listed on their menu, as In-N-Out is a destination spot to many tourists and they're often left underwhelmed. Overall, I give this place a 10/10. It always has my back when I'm craving a burger and you simply just can't beat the price. Additionally, they tend to be open pretty late which is a huge plus.

Dined in, waited for my order for over an hour almost 2 and it wasn't even a big order to be taking that long. I went back n forth to ask and they just said that they haven't gone to that order yet. Atp don't give me shit.

The drive-through entrance needs to be clearly marked, but it is not and is extremely confusing. It appears to be the case that once the line gets longer than the parking lot, they try to extend it into the parking lot that is across the main thoroughfare, and they do this by essentially preventing the first few cars from entering directly from the thoroughfare by making them think that they've cut the line. There is no signage whatsoever indicating that the parking lot across the thoroughfare is an overflow entrance, probably because Burlington Coat Factory or whoever owns that parking lot doesn't actually want In-N-Out to do that. So they take it out on the workers there who have to harass the customers into joining the line in a non-intuitive place.

Very poor fries, soft and soggy. They couldn't do the secret menu party melt. Very disappointed in the service.

I ordered at this location for the first time yesterday. In-n-out is my all time favorite burger. Their food is always consistent. However, this time it was very disappointing. I ordered the cheeseburger meal and the burger was super dry and tasteless. It had very little sauce and was hard to eat. The fries were mostly the tiny pieces that are extra crispy. I definitely will stick with my local In-n-out and avoid this location.

As you can see in the photo the lines here are ridiculous!! They definitely need more staff or be able to make burgers and fries a lot faster than having you wait 30 minutes and drive through. Although the burgers and fries do taste good the wait time is ridiculous. You would not think at 1:30 in the afternoon there would be a line at the parking lot.

We ordered two double doubles "animal style" and they were incredible!!! Fresh, fresh, fresh! Also had a cherry coke, perfection! Next time will try the fries "light crisp" animal style. Employees here are too notch.

My girlfriend and I came here to eat early in the day today, we both love to eat from this location but this was the first time we ate in the restaurant. We walked in then two ladies with a baby entered behind us and as soon as we were inside, a lady walking around the store smiled and walked past us to greet the customers behind us. I thought she was greeting us so I said hello in return to be nice but she was greeting the nice ladies behind us in line. We ordered, the food was good & cashiers were friendly. I ordered a cheeseburger, it was really good but it could've used more sauce. It had a dollop of sauce at most but the fries were yummy as always. My girlfriend ordered a 4x4 with fries. We sat down and enjoyed our food. Sitting down at the booths I noticed the same lady from earlier walking around. She continued to greet everyone who walked in and sat down at tables with a smiling face. (everyone but us and the other younger customers who walked in the restaurant) She would make small talk and ask for order numbers to bring them their food. I didn't mind that she didn't do that for us of course because we could do that ourselves but It would've been nice if she greeted all customers the same. I just thought it was a bit rude.

In-N-Out is always good, especially at night! In terms of ambiance, because we only went through the drive through, I can't say much about the ambiance inside. However, I will say at this location is particular, please be mindful of where the end of the line for the drive-thru is, as it was confusing for us to find. Although there was an extremely long line of many customers, the In-N-Out staff outside were very attentive, quick, friendly, and made sure to double check that our order was correct before proceeding to the cashier. The food was really delicious! I loves how the fries were perfectly fried and not salty, and how melty the cheese in the double double was. Highly recommend!

When you are craving a burger this is the go to place! They are quick, the food is delicious and the pricing is affordable. The place is always clean and the staff is always super attentive. Kudos for putting public service announcements on their packaging.

Despite the store looking super busy, the service was quite fast. The line we were waiting in seemed super long but then less than 5 mins in, it was already our turn to place our order. I went with Double Double. The toppings it came with were fresh and a lot - they definitely didn't skimp on the onion, lol, but I really liked it. Their special sauce/spread was also great. It really reminded of thousand island salad dressing, and it went really well with their burger and fries. The burger was stacked up pretty high so I had to be careful to not accidentally dislocate my jaw when taking a bite, lol. It was satisfying. And with the price of around $5, I can see why this place is crowded all the time. Their fries were also good. They're not the thin crispy ones, but they're more thick and hearty and they're not super crispy - but this is the kind of fries I like actually. I was gonna go with their animal style fries, but I was concerned about the calories, lol. The store was pretty clean despite how crowded it was when it was there, and I think that's because they had staff walk around cleaning stuff off of the floor constantly - it was quite impressive. I'll definitely go back and I want to try their 4x4 next time :)

This location has been mostly consistent in my experience. My order has been correct damn near 100% of the time. Employees are always friendly and getting your order together as quickly as possible.

4 stars for food, but sadly this review is only 3 stars for other reasons.1st off, the parking lot! It's laid out terribly. You can't just come in off of he Chilpancingo side and get in line. You have to wait all the way on the side of the Burlington Coat Factory and it goes out into traffic, sometimes blocking the exit from the parking lot. There is a sign that says 'no drive-thru' when you're coming from the Chilpancingo side of the parking lot. If you're coming from the side that's near Burlington Coat Factory, you also can't get to the drive-thru; you have to go all the way around where the other cars are waiting on the side of Burlington Coat Factory. I know this location opened recently. I believe it was around 2012. Since then it seems more customers are showing up at all times of day and it's always a zoo. Due to this, they really need to restructure the parking lot somehow so that it isn't blocked. It really bothers me every time I'm trying to shop at Target that I can't get out of the parking lot on this side to go back home. (Concord) Second reason for the three star review is if you go inside to order because you don't want to wait in that messy drive-thru line and bother all the other people trying to get out of the parking lot, they take 30 minutes to make your food and often skip your order. I think the only time I've gotten my food quickly when I went inside is if I ordered to eat there and not to go. If you order to go inside, they will easily forget about you because they have too many people that ordered to eat there. I've consistently had this problem every time I went inside to order food. I was just there 2 days ago for my lunch break and it's supposed to be fast food, but when you wait 30 minutes, what's the point of it being fast food? I was number 93 and they called 96 and 97 but skipped over 93 after 92. I had to go up and ask them if they had 93 and she brought it but I could tell that it had been sitting around for 10 minutes. My burger was not hot. Fortunately the fries were pretty hot still but the burger had definitely been sitting around for a long time. I was also late getting back to work due to this, and had to wolf my food down because I didn't have any more time on my lunch break. Unfortunately, because of my recent experiences I won't be going back anytime soon and the food is only four stars. In-N-Out has way too much hype. I don't understand why everyone even likes it that much. The burgers are mid at best and the fries always taste kind of funky. I never liked the oil that they fry them in. If they somehow manage to restructure the parking lot and make the food to go inside faster, I would reconsider visiting again, but for now I think I'm good.

This is the best fast food burger place around. And really fresh! For years now my kids and I have enjoyed a lot of the "secret" menu items- Neapolitan shakes, animal style fries, protein style burger, etc. They've streamlined the busy drive thru system. Their employees are also vigilant about line cutters which is awesome. The entire staff is so polite. Never a mistake on their behalf for as long as I've been a customer.

In n out is always my favorite!! My family is not a fan so I usually go alone lol. Whenever I eat here it's always a 5 star experience!! The works are always so kind, welcoming and they all work hard to deliver quick and delicious food. I'm always pleased with the service and it's usually pretty clean. I just went yesterday but I'm already ready to go back today lol. I have an addiction.

omg. We have not dined in in years. Used to use the drive through. They installed very loud speakers inside to call the order number. Wow. It is so loud. So loud. Def. needs to lower the volume at least.

In-N-Out always have clean facilities. The service is well above that of all other fast food places. What can I say about the Double Double with fries? Just totally yummy! In-N-Out is about the only burger joint I would visit.

You know exactly what you're going to get when you walk into an in-n-out ...they are nothing if not consistent! The lines are long but they are very efficient and the food is consistently good. Our go to is a double-double with whole grilled onions and animal fries. Their normal grilled onions are minced, if you ask for a whole grilled onions it's a whole different experience. It does take a little bit longer for them to make, so expect to wait an extra minute or two. The animal fries have melted cheese, minced grilled onions, and spread. You can also get regular fries and ask for an extra packet of spread on the side. I'm convinced that a secret to their success is very picky hiring and a limited menu. I hardly ever see employees standing around, they find something to do!

My order took 30 minutes to come out and they STILL forgot my french fries. I am beyond outraged at the customer service. Please never go here.

I came here for some late night munchies and was not expecting much but the food was BOMB! Literally everything about the order was perfect-the bun was perfect, the fries were perfectly crispy, and it tasted sooo delicious! Fast service even though the line was long and the cashier even hooked it up with some stickers. Definitely come to this innout if you're in the area! You will not leave disappointed. I will def be coming back

I went to in n out, ordered two orders of fries, I was order number 35, they called 36-42. People with burgers were getting their food before me. I went up to the register and asked for my food, it took them 30 seconds to load up my fries. They were rude and annoyed. I had been waiting 20 minutes for two orders of fries, while people were getting their double doubles, animal fries etc. before me. Rude workers bad vibes.

Guy outside got my order wrong at 4:30 pm Jan 14/2024 Repeated my order 2 times and still got it wrong. Don't trust these kids. They don't care.

Had an outstanding experience eating lunch at In-N-Out today. Cole Murphy served me and was exceptionally pleasant and quick to get my order out even during the lunch rush! Such great customer service and a delicious meal, I'll definitely be back!

I don't typically write reviews for fast food restaurants but after my visit here today I thought they really deserved some kudos. Amber, a bright cheery gal took my order quicky and without error. This location is incredibly busy, after placing my order I stepped over to the side to observe their operation behind the counter. Ever get a burger whose contents were thrown carelessly between the buns? NOT HERE. I watched their staff meticulously place pickles, lettuce and tomatoes on each burger, carefully warp and place in the bags. They operate with ease.....can you imagine what is must feel like to have a line of customers out the door each day and a constant rush nonstop? Everyone seems to very clearly understand their position with in the restaurant. They appear to be happy employees as well, again something I look for at every business. For some crazy reason I've eating a lot of fast food recently, probably for saving time, but it is getting worn out quickly. I probably have eaten more fast food in the past three months than in the past three years, or more. Anyway, with that said, In-N-Out burger, #2 with grilled onions, seems to be the place and meal I get drawn to most... for the quality of the food and the efficiency of the drive-thru. At 3:20 pm the drive-up line was lengthy at this location. Yet, the line did move along well enough, and the process is well executed. I had my meal in ten minutes. What is good about this location is the nice amount of outdoor seating, and well spaced for distancing. The only drawback is you sit and eat in a maze of cars and traffic all arpunf you. The burgers and fries were as expected and for a meal on the run it does satisfy the need. Overall not a bad deal to get on and off the highway, and back on in record time.
