I'm from both NorCal and SoCal, so I know me some In N Out and was glad they finally got one here since they shut down the one in Salem. We drive up and I'm wondering why the parking lot is unfinished. It is not. The business is using the empty lot next to the restaurant for all the overflow since the crowds are crazy since they opened up. That's great for the restaurant, but because of the long lines, it sometimes makes people lose their minds and cut in the drive in and that's so not cool. We parked and we were in line for 40 mins. Even though it was the end of summer, it was a little chilly, os bring a hoodie if you're gonna stand in line. Once we got in, we ordered quickly and they are firing out food like crazy because they have to- the restaurant was super crowded and barely a table was available. Luckily there are some seats and tables out back, but not enough to accommodate these crowds. The food was solid as usual, but for some reason after waiting for years to get another double double in my mouth, I wasn't feeling it. I had my Animal Fries and my vanilla shake and for some reason, it wasn't hitting right. The food was made right, but I don't know. I just wasn't craving it. Oh well. I'll come back again hwen the crowds die down because it is, after all, still In N Out.
