In-N-Out Burger

A profound waste of everyone’s time. Ordered a double double, fries, and an XL shake. Place was absolutely packed, didn’t get my shake, then got a medium. Wasn’t worth troubleshooting. The salty, stale fries are paired with a burger of bland, razor thin patties. The burger was wholly generic and tasteless. Meh. I realized halfway through the fries that they were not worth the calories. My medium shake was fine, a little warm for coming straight from the machine. Just go to the neighboring Wendy’s. No wait, and much better, actually acceptable, fast food.

When, I come here, it's definitely just for the burgers. The fries are so-so, but in all fairness they are probably more healthy than the other burger chains. The restaurant was clean and the staff are always friendly here. The dining area can get congested and loud. I'd suggest the Double Double. There isn't a lot of substance to burger patties these days, so to feel like you've actually eaten something, just get two.

In-N-Out burger is just delicious, no complaining on that, you can’t mess that up, wonderful every time I get. The inside is always kept super clean and the staff is always smiling and happy. I am happy this location exists but not for the location area, on Culebra, one of the busiest streets, it’s always difficult to drive out but more so to even get in, expect to make a long U-turn because no one will let you in through the traffic lanes to get into the parking lot, ever, it’s always busy there, most especially from noon to 1, lunch rush. And the drive through is a constant 15-20 cars hanging out into the streets. And don’t even get me started on the prices. But there’s nothing to be done about those two things I guess. But I think those two issues are worth putting up with in the end when you finally get your hands on that double double with grilled onions and animal style fries and that little yellow pepper , is what I tell myself.

In-N-Out always hits the spot, and their Protein Style burger is my go-to. The lettuce wrap is fresh and crisp, making the burger feel lighter without losing any of that classic flavor. The staff is always friendly, and the service is impressively fast—even when the line looks long, they move it right along. A great place for a quick, tasty bite without the guilt.

Food was great and the inside of the restaurant was very clean. I highly recommend checking this place out. Make sure you order everything on the menu “animal style” or it won’t taste good. That’s my only complaint about in and out but this option makes it great.

First time trying their burger and meal and the burger itself was amazing juicy flavorful and cook perfectly the root beer was ice cold and tasted Super fresh like it came straight from the factory the only downside was the fries which weren't as good as I hoped a bit bland compared to everything else still overall it was a great experience and I will definitely come back for the burger again

Delicious burgers! Took me back to very first time I had In-n-Out Burgers near Seal Beach, CA in 2009! Had a great time either way my family! Gotta try it!

thus is the best fast food burger I had. I'm from the northeast and we have none. the burgers were fresh. fresh toppings and great fast service. I give the burger a 9 which 8s great for a fast food joint.

Still my fave! Used to go to one every Friday when I lived in California. One of my fave parts of coming to Texas now is getting to have In N Out. They've stayed consistent with gluten free options and I appreciate that! Service is always great, it's in a fairly easy to get to location, and even at the lunch hour it was quick and I was "in and out".

First time having In-N-Out. Heard a lot about it and knew we had to try it while we were traveling out west. The employees were fantastic; the uniforms were nostalgic and there was someone on the floor the whole time, cleaning tables and removing trays. Bathroom and lobby were clean. I ordered the cheeseburger animal style, hubby got the triple animal style. We agreed the burgers were good for the price, not gourmet but solid. The meat was bland and rather chewy, but the toppings were crisp and fresh. The fries were, unfortunately, terrible. We ordered them well done and they were almost burnt; some were nothing but a crunchy shell. Our grandson had the standard fries and they were undercooked, very soft, no crunch at all. None of us cold eat more than a few. Hubby and grandson had the Neapolitan shake and both loved it! I took a sip and was impressed all three flavors were evident. Overall, a middle-of-the road fast food restaurant.

Went to In N Out for dinner and ordered two double doubles animal style and protein style. Plenty of lettuce and tomatoes wrapped around fresh cooked cheeseburgers. The service quick and excellent and the restaurant was clean. I highly recommend if you want a fresh burger at a reasonable price.

Decent place for a good burger and fries. The shake was good and thick. Love the Christian verses in their cups and fries. Nice staff and quick service.

No wifi.... amazing. AMAZING burger... I ate it in less then 4 seconds genuinely peak.. Ilysm In-N-out... I will eat.

We dined in for dinner. Although the parking lot was pretty full and tons of people in the drive through we got our food real quick. As always the food was delicious and typical for in and out. Taking away 1 star due to the bathroom condition. It seems run down and not clean and it's smelly too. The restaurant was cleanish. I could tell that they had just been busy too and they were doing their best

Back again for lunch. They have to have the most courteous, happy, friendliest employees of any burger place. A visit is always a pleasure and you always feel valued as a customer. Got my usual 8 burger patties, four with cheese. Always a good carnivore lunch!

So glad you guys have healthier choices like the protein double double cheeseburger. Being a diabetic n managing it is difficult challenge everyday. What surprised me I saw like at least 6 other customers eating it as well today.

I've known the quality of INO since I was a kid and went to the Baldwin Park location. And in that tradition, this location is "5-Stars" every time. Consistent quality, fresh ingredients, and outstanding customer service. There are no substitutes!

My son was dying to visit & taste a burger from this restaurant since there are none where he resides. It has an old school vibe, costumes and all. Although it was crowded, the lines moved quickly. My son liked the hamburger & said he wanted to go back on his next visit.

The first meal i had after fasting for scopes was in & out so i may be a little biased. Best fast food burger i've had. I love the animal style fries. We don't bother to go through the drive through when it's backed up, go inside and you'll be in and out (hahah) employees are always very friendly.

A very hyped burger establishment. The food was average at best. That's not to say it wasn't good but it's not something to go out of your way to try, as the hype would suggest. The service was fast and friendly.

Pretty good burger. Fries not so much. I'm finally posting this drafted review after 2 years and realize I still haven't been back. Love how they can do a burger nicely without the bun. Veggies were fresh. I found I was just never pressed or craved to go back.

Best fast food burger in America. Also the people who work here em to be enjoying life a lot more than at other chains. Ask for fries well done, theyre a little meh otherwise

We traveled to Dallas and tried In-N-Out and we loved it. So when we came home we came to this location. First impression, dirty floors and tables. We received our orders and the fries were overdone and very hard to bite. I thought let me get another order and this time ask for lite fries and they weren't any better. So if you want fries, don't go to this location. By the way I did tell the lady that gave me my order and she just laughed and said ok. I did give them the opportunity to make it right.

Not positive I understand the hype but the burger was a very good one. I ordered the number 1 with fries and unsweet tea. Fries are terrible as far as fast food fries go so definitely look for their "secret menu" and add cheese or sauce or something. The tea already has that "old" taste to it so I couldn't drink it. The drive thru is very efficient taking some clues from Chicfila but I probably wouldn't wait in a 14 car line again. Definitely had to try and I am glad I did ... maybe my next visit will be all off the secret menu.

5 stars because of drive through staff( Adrian), he was smiling the whole time made us smile too. Wish there was more people like him In the service industry, keep up the good work!!!

Arguably, America's best burger joint... Disclaimer: I usually avoid chain restaurant reviews, but of course an exception has to be made for In-N-Out. Hit up In-N-Out for lunch while in San Antonio for work... Been here several times before, and as usual, it didn't disappoint. The restaurant is super clean, the staff and service are always amazing (Chick-Fila version of a burger joint), and the food is ultra fresh and mouth-watering. Had to go with the ole Double-Double and animal style fries, and they were by no surprise, spectacular. There's a lot of debate about what's better... Five Guys, Culver's, What-a-Burger, Red Robin, etc., but in my humble opinion, In-N-Out is far and wide the gold standard of burger joints in America. If you're ever out West or down South West, don't pass-up on an In-N-Out trip.

I always go here and food is not bad. I just found blood on my napkins. Check your napkins and food before leaving the drive through area.

In n out on culebra is excellent. Charlie is the best employee. Makes everyone feel welcome and gives customer service like no other.

Not great service they've gotten my order wrong while ordering and when I corrected them they said they wouldn't have asked it someone didn't ask for it. I said ok. If you get your right order it's not bad not great like in California or Vegas but better then whataburger.

I walked into the restaurant and was blown away by the food like always, the burgers are absolutely amazing! This place has quickly become my go-to spot. The employees are always friendly and provide great service. However, I did notice one issue during my visit. An employee named Jessica(on the name tag) , who I believe might be the manager, because she was just standing there awhile not doing anything, was acting quite unprofessionally. She kept touching her belly with gloves contaminating everything.She seemed to be rude to the staff, which was disappointing to witness and caught my attention, especially considering how great the rest of the team was.

Drive thru is always busy but that just means it's delicious! Even with drive thru being so long, it never takes long and food is always fresh! Employees are always quick and friendly! I have been coming since they first opened and waited two hours to have my burger and fries! Being from California, in n out is a staple and never disappoints! I always order protein style and the lettuce is always fresh and crisp! Usually always eat in the car but whenever we do eat in the restaurant the ambience is always welcoming and fast!

This is a solid inexpensive burger places. It can be pretty busy at times but the staff keeps the line moving pretty fast so don't be intimidated by the line . I like that even though it's a fast food place it's always very clean and the overall quality is good. This place brings so much nostalgia as I grew up in California but I have to deduct one point for the fries. Pro tip: I like my burger animal style, extra toasted buns and sliced peppers inside. I don't get animal style fries, but I do ask for extra spread and dip it in it.

Went on a Sunday at 1240 for drive thru and got my order by 104 pm. There were about 12 cars ahead of me! Staff remained professional and friendly despite the rush hour. Food was prepared well, and didnt look like it was rushed!

There is no way In-n-out can compare to Whataburger. I couldn't get a bacon cheeseburger with grilled jalapeños, grilled onions and grilled tomatoes, lettuce, mustard and buns toasted on both sides. Spicy ketchup for the fries at here at In-n-out. I did try one of their very boring and very bland burgers and it was a waste of time and money. Definitely not a burger for a Texan. I would much rather eat a Texas Double Whopper from Burger King.

Overpriced!! Prices are ridiculous expensive and portions are small especially for onions rings and coleslaw. Regular burger for $16 is an expensive considering there are better places. Also cashier is not friendly at all.

I've only had one bad experience here. Nothing major, just missing some fries on my order. But the staff were really friendly and apologetic to my family. They gave us a free meal for your next visit for the inconvenience. Always loved eating here with my boys.

Always a well-oiled machine, this location sets the standard on friendliness and efficiency. They def give Chik-Fil-A a run for their money in these aspects. And Texas, STOP comparing them to Whataburger, for the love of God! They're just different. When it comes to fresh ingredients, taste and service, In-N-Out takes the cake (my opinion)... when you want tons of options to please every palate in the household and got a hankering for seasonal shake flavors (Dr. Pepper shake!!!) then Whataburger is the way to go. Our fam ordered 2 Double-Doubles and a hamburger made our way, fries (of course!) and soft drinks. My fave way to eat my meal here is with their root beer or a Neapolitan shake, yes, they'll happily mix all 3 flavors for you! Google their secret menu to find items like 4x4 burgers, animal-style fries and grilled cheese sandwiches. SHOUT OUT TO GIOVANNI for being so friendly at the drive thru.

I would have to say that for a fast food burger place - they set the bar very high. It's always fresh, I HATE their fries as many do I wish they'd change that or add an option for a thicker option that's not dry. But the burger options with sauces make the burgers delicious!! Service is always impeccable!!!

My husband lived in Cali so he was SUPER EXCITED to see this during our visit to TX. I wasn't sold. The food was mediocre at best. The service; however, was TOP NOTCH!!! If you like burger joints and have kids, this spot is for you. Just not my cup of tea.

I'm sorry Texans, but In-N-Out Burger is 100x better than WhataBurger. In-N-Out serves such a memorable burger for a cheap price. I was craving a burger in the worst way and my boyfriend suggested In-N-Out. I had never had it before...Well... We pulled in in the drive thru (which was pretty long), ordered, got the food, and grubbed down in the parking lot. I ordered a double double animal style and Was.Blown.Away....I was so blown away that we pulled right back into the drive thru (the attendant said "oh back again") and I ordered another double double animal style. My tongue was happy and my stomach had no say in the matter. For about $5 for a double patty cheeseburger that's savory and crave-worthy? I am ALL in! Whataburger fans - I'm sorry. In-N-Out is reigning supreme in the "fast food burger" take out game. Other burger recommendations: Teddy B's on Babcock. A bit pricier, but delicious.

I walked in and ordered, I went to sit and found a whole burger patty on the floor. I got my burger (which was pretty fast) and ate up. The burger was good, nice and fresh. The place was pretty clean and the staff were friendly. Would I come back? Yes.

Never lets you down. Drive through was a long line out to the street. Surprisingly no one outside taking orders. But it's a short long line by in and out standards. No line inside. Every other table was closed off during covid. I prefer no bun and order a protein burger so it's lettuce wrapped in replacement of the bun then animal style fries!

I'm honestly not a fan. The Burger was pretty average. The Animal fries were tough. The fries are made to order with fresh potatoes but I just wasn't fan of how they tuned out. Great service! Fast food atmosphere.

It's In N Out!!! The burgers- CONSISTENT. Never will catch hem slipping. Fries- CONSISTENT. The line varies - sometimes long and sometimes short. That's just In n Out for ya. Convenient location. I'm just glad there's an In N Out here to be honest.

My teen son wanted to eat here. It's one of the only locations in San Antonio, and it's always super busy. I would not recommend the drive thru. We dined inside after waiting several minutes for a table to open up. The burgers are above average, the hot, meat & cheese side and the cool lettuce & tomato side. I got the double-double animal style (chopped grilled onions). We got the Neapolitan shake on 'the secret menu' which was good but a bit too thick for the straw. All in all, it was a great experience.

I ordered a number one, burger fries and medium drink. Peppers were fresh and I took some with me even. The workers were very fast, kind, and efficient. Donovan did a great job cleaning the restroom it was very clean. Paper towels were good quality, good soap. I recommend this place to other people.

We always come here and it's always consistent and super good. We sat kinda close to the register when we went and Adam was taking orders. I noticed he had a smile on the whole time with each and every customer. Great customer service :)

Burgers great, fries could be better. I prefer crinkle fries. It is kinda far but every now and then the drive is ok.

In&out always reminds me of quickly getting together and enjoying a meal with your friends. It's quick and easy. It's always best when served fresh. I wouldn't recommend eating it cold, I feel like it taste so much better when it fresh because of the sauce, but overall service was nice, it was cooked well, and the fries were on point. It's definitely something worth a try
