I love In-N-Out this place is awesome super busy but clean and spacious and friendly stocked and clean. All the comendments were stocked only one machine had ice but I think it was because this place is super busy so understandable... employee Saul took my difficult order because I have dietary needs and he got it right and was super friendly and helpful and he also said he loves his job and that he wants to continue his career with In-N-Out cause it's a great company and hes happy and I love that ❤️ thank u Saul great job with accuracy and understanding my needs and being patient with me... great place and friendly and affordable always recommend

The best fast food burger ever. I haven’t had it for a while, five years. oh man I forgot how good it is. You could really able to taste the juiciness and beefiness of the beef. Definitely not frozen beef. The french fries are so crispy.

Love that is right next to a truckstop! I try to go to at least one in and out whenever i make it over here. I'll have to remember this one. As usual, great food, perfect service with the most polite smiling workers!

Large indoor eating area. Very busy. The line to order inside moves very fast,but there's always a wait for the food. Still, it's relatively quick and cheap, so it's a preferred stop when driving from SF to LA.

In-N-Out Burger is one of my favorite burger chains in California. This location is always busy, and the parking lot can be a bit tricky to navigate. The service is consistently good, and like other branches, the crew here is always friendly and helpful. Since it’s such a popular spot, orders can take longer than usual. I also noticed some customers double parking, which makes it hard to get in and out, and a few people smoking weed in the parking lot. Hopefully, management can address these issues to keep the experience enjoyable for everyone

this is the closest in n out to me and its always so yummy. my girlfriend and i got matching in n out california shirts from here and they're so cute. drive thru is usually always pretty long depending on the time of day but other than that i never had a problem here.

Went here on 7/14/25 around 10:00pm and ordered two cheeseburgers. Upon eating I bit into a long dark black hair directly in the middle of my burger all wound up in cheese. Had to pull it out of my mouth and literally almost vomited. I couldn't even go inside to complain because I had to vomit. Honestly disgusting and a first in 30 years of eating in n out for me. Sad.

This was one of my favorite In-N-Out Burger locations and experiences with the chain. Ordering was relatively quick and the cashier was very sweet. She gave my little one a sticker sheet when we got to the counter to order. She also repeated the order to make sure all items were correct. The wait to get our food was not too long. I was able to ask for extra spread sauce once our number got called. Tables and seating was also kept clean. The food quality here at this location is what I hope all the In-N-Out chains aspire to consistently deliver. They actually had a good amount of veggies (lettuce and tomato) on the burgers rather than skimping out like some of my past experiences at other locations. My order of fries with extra grilled onions also actually had the extra part down pat :) Overall a great dining experience here. Kudus to the staff!

The pride and joy (and staple) of the west coast. Shake Shack has come to take market share, but they won't overtake much. INO fans everywhere will live or die here. The burgers here are classic: tomato, lettuce, and a "spread", a sauce similar to 1000 Island dressing. Raw onion slices are a default, but you can order a custom with grilled onions. mmmmm The #1 Combo (the Double Double") is where it's at for me: 2 patty's, 2 cheese, fries, and a soft drink (that can be changed for a milkshake for a nominal fee). All this for around $9.60 (nearly $3 more compared to a couple of years ago). Still...mmmmm It's not a 5.0 star burger, however, it's a near experience overall for what it is -- a quality $5 burger. mmmmm Secret Menu: =========== They say there are 17 items on the secret menu. The most popular is to order your burger "Animal" style, basically, extra sauce on everything, extra pickles, and grilled onions. You can even order "Animal" style fries! A "3x3" (3 patties/3 cheese) or a "4x4" is (4 patties/4 cheese) -- dare if you must. Things like "Protein" style, no bun and between lettuce; grilled cheese (no burger patty), Doggy patty (just a single burger for your pooch), etc. Root Beer Float, Black and White Shake (chocolate and vanilla swirled together), Neapolitan Shake (choc, straw, and van). Have some fun. Location specific: Santa Nella, CA ========================== Santa Nella doesn't offer much, so this is like an oasis in a desert. All the standard stuff, of course, but super clean and efficient. At 1145am, it was surprising not very busy. Great experience. Fun Facts: ========= Did you know that one patty is only 2 oz?

such a gem amongst the other fast food options for this popular pit stop. plenty of parking and seating inside and in the patio even though there must've been +100 people in the short 45 minutes we were there for. staff were working with full steam and enthusiasm despite the literal storm of people coming through their doors and the drive-thru. my over-complicated order was 100% perfect (double double, extra toasted bun, extra tomatoes, ketchup instead of spread, chop and whole grilled onions cut in half accompanied with light well fries). I've been to much less busier locations who have messed up my order. major kudos to the staff and keep up the great work! we'll be back!

Those of you that have ventured from the Bay Area/Sacramento to Los Angeles or vice-versa know that Santa Nella is a major "pit stop" for gas, food, and services. It is also home to the famous "Andersen's Pea Soup". However, since I was starving, I decided to make a stop at "In-N-Out Burger" to hold me through before the two-hour drive to Sacramento. Located directly on Henry Miller Ave. and adjacent to Highway 33 (Santa Nella Blvd) while is nearby Interstate 5, this is arguably one of the busiest In-N-Out locations in its entire franchise. We arrived here around 2:30pm on Sunday 10/13/2024 and as expected, it was packed to a capacity. However, the parking lot is massive and by the looks of it, this can accommodate several hundred vehicles. There is also a drive-thru and plenty of outdoor seating. The setup is similar to most of the other In-N-Out's and as chaotic as it was, I was able to place my order in less than a minute after entering. Even better was that I received my food in roughly 10 minutes. I had ordered a hamburger, order of fries (with no salt), and a regular sized drink. Even better is that I was able to snag booth seating which meant a flawless experience. As for the food itself, everything tasted fine with no hiccups. I can tell that the employees/staff are well-trained for handling a busy restaurant of this magnitude. There are several other locations alongside the I-5 corridor (Kettleman City, etc.) but this is one that attracts a lot of the Central Valley/LA/Bay Area folks. With that said and done, I am giving the Santa Nella "In-N-Out Burger" an above average four stars.

We don't have In-N-Out in WA State, so this was my first time. WOW! I am so impressed by the staff at this location. A young man standing next to the drive-thru ordering station took my order instead of a microphone. He asked if I was going to eat in the car or take the food elsewhere. I asked why that mattered, and he said they bag the food for home, or serve in a tray for the car. That blew me away--never had any drive-thru offer that option. I also noticed he was clean cut, well groomed, and enthusiastic in engaging me. At the payment window, an equally engaging co-ed took my payment and chatted with me until the line of cars had to advance. I asked if I could take her picture also, as I was a Yelp Elite. She agreed, and I captured her cleanly pressed attire and welcoming smile. At the delivery window, I asked why all the servers weren't in school, on a weekday. "We're mostly college students and they pay us well enough and accommodate our schedules" "Do you have to supply your own uniforms?" "No, only the pants if we choose to wear them, but we all like dressing up and looking nice!" I received my tray of food, laid out easily to manage while parked in a space in the lot. The fries were super hot. The burger full of the fresh condiments of my choice (double onions, in case you're curious). Inexpensive to boot! I drove away thinking that In-N-Out puts McDonald's to shame. The energy level of the staff, and the thoughtful attention to what customers care about--the whole experience gives me great faith in America returning to the time-honored values that made our country the envy of the world. (Yes, I'm 77 years old and I remember when businesses took a personal interest in their customers) Bravo IN-N-OUT !

THIS LOCATION IS AMAZING. Was passing through on the 5 and got hungry and of course it was a NO BRAINER to my a pit stop at In N Out for our family dinner. To make things even better, this location was not as busy as I am use to at my home in n out locations. We pulled up to the drive through and within 10 min we had our orders taken and handed to us. This time, I went with a double double mustard fried with raw and grilled whole onions. THIS BURGER WAS MASSIVE AND JUICY. Probably one of the best combinations ive had on a burger. If you do order mustard fried just keep in mind the burger does come with pickles automatically. But it was a great touch in my opinion. Overall I was beyond pleased with my meal. The consistency at In N Out is what makes them so great. It's always a great meal. My family and I got a total of 5 burgers and 1 grilled cheese, two animal fries, a small milkshake and a large drink all for $52 bucks. NOWHERE can't beat that nowadays. Don't sleep on this INO location. Super good and always a great meal. Do your life a favor and stop by.

I have never had the worst food in my life from this establishment. Usually, it is really good, but all of our burgers were burnt by the time we got home our fries were so cold and the service was kind of slow.

The Double-Double and extra crispy fries really hit the spot! This location was a much-needed stop, offering the bonus of a spacious parking lot and a welcome restroom break after two hours of traffic.

Of course I recommend this place! Always constantly delicious. The best and friendliest service drive thru and in. It's clean and bright.

By far one of the best in n outs I've been to. We went through the drive thru during our road trip and the line was not too long. The line moved at a normal pace for an in n out and they got all our orders correct as well as gave us in the car boxes with the to go bag. The burgers were exceptional, they gave us a generous amount of veggies and spread which we all loved. As all the SoCal locations skimp out on everything, it was nice to get a burger loaded with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. The fries were perfectly done and they did animal style right. Everything was fresh and made as expected. Great experience and kind workers.

Can't blame my husband who hops on road trips just so he can obtain opportunity to pop in to IN and OUT burgers! We love how no matter which in and out we dine, always consistent. Double double cheese burger - 5 stars Double double protein style - 5 stars Extra crispy fries- crunchy and not burnt 5 stars Cassius- efficient, great smile, exceptional customer service 5 stars The four stars is because a cashier didn't get our order correctly as he looked new., which is ok. But Cassius made it and got everything right after.

Extremely fast service and staff are always friendly. 5/5 for customer service. Very clean on the inside. My go to order is 2x2 animal style with whole grilled onions chopped chillies and extra toast. Fries need to be lite well. Adds a nice crunch but still fluffy on the inside. Cant go wrong.

Funny I stopped for food here at this same exit off the 5 on my way south to SoCal to try that pea soup place. But you know, this long drive on the 5 is a real California experience and just lends itself to stopping at In N Out with multiple locations all along the way on this freeway! In N Out is so Californian! In N Out is super popular, considering we arrived here close to midnight! There's a line of cars waiting at the drive up but the lines weret't too bad inside. I alway pick indoor dining as the line is usually shorter and like just like eating inside and not stuck in the car or whatever one is driving. I'll be in the car for a lot more hours so might as well get out and use the restrooms too! While in San Diego, I made the choice to try the single patty cheeseburger to try to cut some calories ..... bad experiement ... gimmie my Double Double ... diets are a bad idea at In N Out! So back to my usual Double Double Animal style with added grilled onions! Order is up in short order and I'm looking forward to taking that first bite into that Double Double and have that In N Out happiness fill my mouth and make my feet stamp under the table! Yes, this is what I'm talkin bout! Alas, it's back on the road north and a ways to go still.

Always quick and efficient and tasty. This location is not exception! They also have a coloring page for kids, which helped with the brief wait. Obviously, you gotta do animal style everything. And don't leave without a milkshake. Easy parking and right off the highway.

Might get the hype if we could eat the meat here but unfortunately not halal. The veggie options are just okay we got the grilled cheese, milkshakes, and animal fries. Milkshakes weren't all that either. Lines are usually super long at other locations but it wasn't too bad here. Wouldn't go again tbh

Have been to many in n out burger but this was the worse double I've ever had. Dry bun and little sauce not good. I believe the cook needs refreshing on how a real double should taste.

Linda PE got me instantly to a happy place just taking my order. The burgers, shake and fries were a good and quick take out order.

This In N Out was a good stop for us while on our way to the Bay Area. It is less crowded than the Kettlemen City location, but still crowded nontheless. Service was great. The cashier introduced me to a double single when I asked if they could make a double double with less cheese as my body just doesn't like too much lactose. It was the perfect lunch for me on my road trip up north.

We had been making our way up the I-5 towards Napa Valley and needed to make a pit stop. To our joy, the visit we made to Santa Nella had an In-N-Out Burger, so we included a stop to pick up an order of a double-double animal style for me and a cheeseburger protein style for my wife. The drive-thru was fast and efficient as we were able to take and receive our order within a few minutes, given the length of the queue. The people taking the orders outside, taking payment, and giving our food were all friendly and professional. Surprisingly, the meat from our second In-Out/In-Out experience was better than our initial experience in Los Angeles. My double-double was so tasty and satisfying due to the locally sourced meat -- I'm assuming, but there is a difference in quality that can't be denied. You can't go wrong with In-N-Out when you're on the road in California and need a tasty burger to recharge your batteries.

This In-n-out is hidden but the service is great! Very friendly and quick! Food was good and all requests met! Its a stop on or on your way back from SoCal! Very busy with road trippets!

I'm really impressed with the hospitality at the register. I felt very welcomed and I really appreciated that. Food was top tier too. Can't really go wrong with this place!

A great stop right off the 5 as you're passing through! It's the expected great, friendly service and delicious food. My experience was exactly as expected... PERFECT!

It can be loud inside, and quite crowded on heavy travel days! We 3 dined in day-after-Xmas (heavy travel day) & ordered a hamburger, a cheeseburger and a double-double, and received a hamburger and two cheeseburgers instead. When we brought it back to the counter, they made us a new double-double and let us keep the mistaken cheeseburger, which was nice. We weren't too full even after eating the extra burger (we had fries too). Hubby says it's been like this for quite a while, but I don't recall the burgers being this skimpy in the past. The meat is smaller than the bun & you have several vegetarian bites :-/

I always hit this In-N-Out when I head down to LA and for some reason this specific location makes the best burgers. I've been to a lot of locations from LA to the Bay and idk why the Santa Nella location tastes and looks better. Maybe because the employees care? Idk. The employees are always so friendly and helpful. I remember there was one time the cashier was singing Christmas songs after he took my order and that put me in a jolly mood, especially when I'm driving 4+ hrs on the I-5. Another time I asked for chopped chilies and the cashier informed me there was a shortage of the chilies they usually use so they weren't going to taste the same: respect for that honesty, but I didn't mind and still got the chilies. When I went through the drive thru, another time, the people taking my money & giving me my food had huge smiles on their face. This location is hands down my favorite one & this is the only "fast food" I eat so I'm happy they're there for my cravings.

11/7/21 Quality/Quantity - As always consistent. I think I am going to take a break from going to In N Out. I have been to more this year than the last 20 years combined. This location was generous with their fries, thx. Atmosphere - Consistently good. I travel and eat in the car, so I appreciate the box and mat, thanks. Service - Always the same, which is NOT easy to do for most businesses. Price - Less than $6, thanks. Owner Suggestion - Keep up the good work, although I plan to take a break, I will probably be back soon. I'll be back too soon for my own good. :)

Where's the beef!! Disappointed. I usually like in n out and it's been awhile since I have been but apparently they are making some cut backs.

Every time I eat at In-N-Out, no matter what city I'm in, the food has always been consistent. The ingredients always taste fresh and the hamburger is always so good. My go to meal is the cheeseburger w/grilled onions and fries, animal style. On my recent trip from LA back to the Bay Area on Memorial Day as usual, there was a long line for drive thru. I almost never use drive thru. My order of 5 burgers and fries for my friends was ready in under 10 minutes when I ordered inside. That is quick service! And never have I ever had my order wrong. That's why I love In-N-Out.

Spectacular In N Out. Perfectly positioned along the I-5 as a rest stop / snack spot during long drives. As such, expect long waits if waiting in the drive-thru line. But as with most In N Outs, you will get much quicker service if you just eat inside. Anyway, nothing hits like animal style fries after being in the mountains for the weekend! Anyone who says shake shack is better than In N Out is just straight up WRONG. In N Out gang forever

Efficient and orders correct 90% of the time. Burgers and fries are always on point and all know, a bargain for what you get. What most people do not know is that the corporation has reduced size of meat. Is this why, I'm not as stuffed as before? Is this why I eat all my fries now? Still going to frequent this place. Mainly because I know what I'm going to get and it's close to my house. EG Eats

Santa Nella is one of the major stops when traveling on I-5 from San Francisco/Sacramento to Los Angeles or another way around. Many cars or trucks stop for gas and take care of the lunch and dinner there. Many choices are available there. In-N-Out Burger is one of the best choices. This In-N-Out Burger is slightly off the main street, but they have a huge sign to show the drivers when to turn into the parking lot. It is hard to miss the turn. One of the best things about this location is they have extra long parking spaces for trackers and RVs at the farther side of the parking lot. Make sure you are following the direction of the entry and exit if you're driving an oversize vehicle. I ordered a double-double - protein style and fires - well done. Both are perfectly done, even they're swamped at the time. I love this In-N-Out Burger in Santa Nella. I think this will be my first choice of a stop on the road. Good jobs!

Food came out very fast and it was delicious. the place was very clean and there were workers cleaning the whole time i was there. i would definitely recommend this place if you need a quick and easy meal.

We needed to stop in Santa Nella and the kids were so happy to see that there was an In-N-Out. The store was properly staffed so luckily the wait wasn't long at all. Great experience.

Party of 4 on a road trip, we made a quick stop to fuel up at a nearby gas station when all my passengers collectively and suddenly decided they were STARVING. (They just ate not two hours prior to the stop.) They wanted something easy and quick and something they can eat in the car. The vote went to this place. What can possibly go wrong, right?! Except it's the Sunday afternoon ending the Thanksgiving weekend, so as expected, the line for the drive thru was extra EXTRA long. My OCD kicked in and since we had time, I actually counted how many cars were ahead of me - about 30. Yeah, we were gonna be here awhile. Surprisingly, that line went FAST. It wasn't 10 minutes before I got to put our orders in and another couple of minutes before the food was in the car. They were READY! I'm impressed to say the least. They know what they're doing! What can I say. It's In N Out. Food was delicious, as usual! Good call by my trip mates. Glad we made the stop.

We had a question about a pricing difference on an item tonight (which had in fact changed) and could hear Andrea calling us dumb and being visibly annoyed at our questions as she rolled her eyes and passed us off to her manager (who was super nice about it) I know fast food has a time restraint and it might be annoying or stressful to handle customer questions, but it wasn't during a busy time and if you're going to talk poorly about customers, maybe do it out of ear shot.

Excellent service, always great food. I have no complaints. It was heartwarming to see a staff member walk through the menu with an elderly couple. Everyone is helpful and always has a smile on their face.

Where do I eat at on the drive from the Bay Area to L.A.? In-N-Out! There are a few locations off I-5 and this makes for a quick meal. Somehow I always end up at this location, not sure why. The burger and fries are made from fresh ingredients and you can taste the quality. Sure, they only have burgers and cheeseburgers, but they make it right. Also love that they have these pickled peperoncini peppers that are both sour and spicy. If you like their "special sauce", you can ask for a side of extra spread and dip it with your fries! I would have given this place 4 stars, but I took a star off because the cashier did not have a mask on.

Good consistency is the key to a brand like In-N-Out. It's always fresh and taste great! I know exactly what to expect with every meal. The patty is always juicy and the veggies are always fresh and crisp. The fries were hot and fresh and the animal style sauce gave it that extra tang.

A great stop with predictably good food! The great In n Out food you'd expect from all locations, conveniently just off the freeway but not too noisy to enjoy the plentiful and clean outdoor seating.

Fresh, flavorful food, with the coldest smoothies - needed it in the 102F heat. The service was fast, the servers were friendly, the tastes are consistent across all the other locations Ive visited - all vegetables were fresh, and flavorful. Would highly recommend.

In Santa Nella We left the Sacramento area just as the Friday commute was getting started. About two hours into our trip heading South my little family got hungry and we decided to stop in Santa Nella to get our grub on. There were a lot of fast food restaurants in the area but In-N-Out was the clear choice for dinner. The location, which is basically a freeway rest stop, was easy access from I-5 highway. Inside is spacious than most In-N-Out locations I've been to and very clean considering it is a busy hub for travelers along the 5!! We were lucky to get in line before the dinner rush and we got our food quickly. Our ticket was #44 and by the time we left they were calling guest #86. Should I touch on how mouth-watering their burgers are? Customizable patties, hand-cut fries & thick shakes... if you haven't had an In-N-Out burger before you're missing out! There is a large covered outdoor sitting area, lots of parking spots in nearby parking lot. It was a bit cold to sit outside at the time as it was nearing dusk. No matter how busy the restaurant is (and we all know they're always busy) guests can always count on both good food of consistent quality and friendly and efficient service (running like a well oiled machine). So lucky to have many In-N-Outs in the West Coast :) Review #1300

The animal fries I got here were so perfect. The staff was sooooo so kind to my pup and I in the drive through line. I had a great road trip pit stop here.
