They have a wide variety of food options and cocktails to choose from. In Session nails it every single time with a mix of R&B and hip-hop that spans the decades. Whether it's smooth, soulful jams from the '90s or today’s hottest tracks, the playlist is always on point. Every time I’ve come to In Session, it’s been a great experience.

I don’t usually take time to write reviews, but the service we received from Jada (bartender) was so impeccable, I had to give her a shout out! Her knowledge of drinks and positive, professional attitude turned our average night into an amazing experience. Will definitely return!

I’ve been on the search for a live band in downtown Chicago that plays 80s/90s r&b with grown and sexy vibes, and this checks off all of those boxes! The staff are friendly—even the bouncers. And a special shoutout to Jada at the bar; she masters the balance between professional and fun/approachable, and her hospitality is a primary reason I come back.

6/15 after midnight I stopped by to have a cocktail . Ther cover charge was fine , but to not give a coverage refund because you don't carry the basic Grey Goose , was totally ridiculous and does not blend well with the culture of the community that I frequent . Below 1 star, wish they had a number scale to include 0. We were only in 3 mint, because you guys didn't have what we drink. Maybe a lesson learned trying to support our own.

Wanted to try this place but my wife couldn't get in because she was wearing sandals. Sounded like there was good music and there was a line out the door we waited in for 30 mins but I guess it's not really a "come straight from dinner" kind of place. It was my first time in Chicago so that might be the standard but I wish there was a sign or something so we didn't waste time standing in line.

Being new to the area, I didn’t know where to go. I stopped in here and met the nicest bartender, Jada. Her recommendations have made me a regular. Thanks again Jada for the best customer service!

I went for Friday happy hour. The wings were hitting, the burger was juicy and a little crispy at the edges, the drinks were awesome. I went there early and sat for an hour without my friend. I was a little shy and bored, when this beautiful and friendly bartender struck up a conversation. She suggested a lavender martini which surprisingly I LOVED. And she was so nice. She was attentive and personable and kind. JADA was her name. Man, she was amazing. The kind of bartender that makes a place feel welcoming. Always checking in on us, getting what we needed before we could ask. When my wings came out she notice I needed ranch before I could. And had salt for our fries. Jason was also lovely. Friendly, professional, welcoming, kind. I loved the staff here and will definitely come again.

Peyten held it down fr. She was on point the whole time, real attentive and mad cool. We had a lil inconvenience at first, but she flipped it around and made the night smooth. She really came through for my homie, vibe was solid after that. Definitely rockin’ with her next time.
