We held a board strategic planning meeting that included Gel Blaster laser tag as a icebreaker activity. Fun way to kick off our meeting and get the group comfortable. The team was attentive and easy to work with from Denise in the planning stages, Paul on menu and Martha night of the event. Highly recommend if you are looking for a fun team building experience!

In The Game located in Peabody, Mass is hands down one of the best family fun spots around! There's truly something for everyone, kids, parents, and anyone who loves excitement. The games are nonstop fun, the energy is contagious, and the atmosphere is bright, clean, and welcoming. Their Laser Tag is amazing! The food here is great too, with a full wrap around bar and comfortable booth seating. But, what really makes the experience at In The Game stand out is the staff, they're super friendly, helpful, and genuinely care about making sure everyone has an amazing time. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, enjoying a family night out, or just looking for a fun escape, In The Game never disappoints is always my first choice!

I had my daughter’s 2nd birthday here and I’m so happy I did! My party helper, Max, was absolutely amazing—he helped with everything and made the day run so smoothly. The food was great too—the pizza was delicious, and the chicken tenders and fries were a hit. Most importantly, the kids had such a fun time! I would definitely host another party here in the future!

Great time and alot of fun and reasonably priced games and packages. The supervisor Nate was especially helpful if games weren’t working and even went out of his way to ensure my daughter got the prize she wanted even though she was a little short on tickets. Food is good too and games and prizes are up to date.

For the amount of money one spends here - it’s pretty much a waste. Half the games were broken or just straight up ate out coins. Workers tending to the machines, which was like 60% left us with using the same ones over and over. The prize store is nothing special. However when I bought it up to mgmt they did give us 60 extra coins. The effort is appreciated but now this meant we had to go back and play more of the same boring games.

My boys have a great time coming here but my goodness if at least 1/3 of the machines are down at any given time. I understand if machines need to be unplugged for maintenance, no issue with those, but if you’re leaving them plugged in so they appear to work and charging people per swipe even when the machine is not actually working it’s borderline predatory. Had to hunt down a worker 3x to get credits back from machines that looked to be in working (these credits aren’t cheap). Certainly takes the fun out of the experience.

We had a party for a soccer team of 11 and 12-yr-old boys. It was fantastic! The private room was clean and big. Martha was assigned to our party and was great! She was friendly, helpful, went over and above to do anything to make sure the party ran smoothly. The facility itself was clean. They had a section saved for our parents to hang out, order drinks and food. The boys had a ton of fun playing laser tag and earning points for prizes. I was impressed and we will definitely be coming again!

Lots to do, we did the arcade, not huge but there was a good amount to do. Some of them were down though and one just flat out didn't work when we used our credits but the employees were super nice and gave us the credits back and when we used our tickets to get the prizes they rounded up from 68 to 70. Bathrooms weren't the greatest but overall still a fun time. Spent $28 total for one card with 100 credits plus 10 extra bonus credits.

We booked a party for my nine year old a party assistant was Lucas. He was very helpful, very polite and on the spot for anything we need it. The place is self was a great place. The kids had a ball, and the food was pretty good to the people That signed us up for laser tag was a lot of kids and they were very polite and very patient. I would definitely book another party there for my son nice place nice people.

We were disappointed by our visit to In the game. The food was fine. Pretty average American arcade cuisine. The pizza was pizza... the "jumbo wings" were just normal small wings and you only got a couple of them. Not sure what happened with my drink but it was practically boiling. Not sure if the ice machine was broken or what, but I have never had a soda that almost burnt my tongue. As for the arcade.... Countless games were not working. Several times the swipe would go through but the game would not start. I gave up going over to the desk after the third time and accepted that I had been scammed. The ones that worked did not give out the correct amount of tickets. It really should be illegal for the ticket amount awarded to differ from the displayed amount. I will stick to Dave and busters in the future. I can't believe bonkers died for this place. Ambiance is similar to a 9 year olds birthday.

Don't recommend at all. The staff at the food area is unwelcoming. Wasn't a busy afternoon there was no reason for us not to be acknowledged. The manager in the blue shirt older gentleman with grayish hair didn't care either that the staff was ignoring patrons Then you get the arcade area multiple game stations not working. Tried to give this place a chance but no I'll stick to Dave and Busters.

Slow, they need more people... We went on one of the Dueling Piano Friday nights. It took 10-15 minutes to be seated and a while for our server to show up. Please note that I am NOT criticizing the wait staff at all, as there are over a dozen booths, around 15 tables, and maybe 20 seats at the bar, but there were only two wait staff, one busperson and one bartender for the whole seating area. The wait staff was pleasant and did a good job for the condition. The food was typical pub food quality, and the beer reasonably priced.

The food is not the focus, which I expected, so not surprised that it was basic food. Nothing special, but not bad.

The restaurant is a hot mess Eat before you go there was very frustrating The arcade games were great Great way to spend a few hours with the kids

This is a solid arcade bar with great food, good live music on Friday's, and a small but creative collection of interactive games! Food was great and portions were huge. Really great burgers, crunchy fries, nachos, and tater tots. Their dessert menu only had one item: chocolate chip cookie with scoops of icecream on top. Service was a bit slow, but the staff was extremely friendly. While their arcade games weren't plentiful, they had some really cool games like 4-man VR games, rope climbing obstacle course, and even rock climbing.

Honestly the bartender/waiter was excellent! The food was surprisingly very good my son loves it here it was my first time and I would definitely go back! Did I mention the waiter was excellent his name was Jonathan he was great!!

The food was good but the service was TERRIBLE. There was only one other table occupied and it took longer than expected to get our food. My food came and I was 100% done eating it before my husbands food arrived. Then both servers disappeared for at least 20 minutes. I know the table next to use was complaining at how long it was taking too. They're good had the same problem, they didn't all get they're good together too. We were there Monday night 12/12/22. If our server didn't have any other tables, why did we not get amazing service?! Also, please bring back the loaded tator tots and the half price apps after

I mean, I didn't expect much, but it's right there, so we gave it a try. The drinks were ok, very sweet though, which is whatever, but ya, sweet. Service was ok, no issues. Food would have been what I expect except the large pretzel we ordered was still frozen in the middle...but the burger was good. It's a three star, but honestly with a little better service, more attention given to cooking, and maybe a different drink choice, it would have been a 4. Again, not expecting too much from a restaurant attached to the gaming area, but a little more consistency and it would be an easy go to when you spend a night gaming. We'll give it a shot again, no reason not to try, just hoping it may be a little better next time.

The restaurant is awful just a hot mess they have a sign that says " wait to be seated " but yet have no one there to assist you the bartenders come out And bring you to a table 30 min after waiting Not sure why the long wait while there's a bunch of tables available then you have to wait another 30 to order and after you order your waitress disappears for another 30 lol they are probably overworked just a hot mess . The arcade is also very expensive snd the games are so short the kids run out of points so quick spent a good $300 in less than 2hours never again .

Don't eat at the restaurant. The waiters like to add their own tip into your bill and when I confronted the managers about it they said they would reimburse me the $15 and they never did.

Let's start off with the food.. it was good. The pizza is good ! Now here was the issue 1 server on a weekend so the food took forever !! Just like the entire place not enough staff. 1 person at prize place the same place where you get your credits back for the broken games, I made several trips for the broken games. Expensive games - expensive prizes 200 tickets for a lollipop ! Not worth for money spent. Maybe if you went on a 1/2 price day.. too many pusher games. It was kind of boring for older kids

I loved all the arcade games. Had a burger and fries at the bar. Nice place. Had fun.

Definitely a fun time and all the games are pretty new so it doesnt feel like a gross old arcade when i went, there wasnt 1 kid in sight which was awesome for us and i will say the rewards for the tickets you get are actually really lame litterally nothing like dave and busters prize room but a solid 3 for this place due to their $$$$ cost bring 300 $ minimum to spend

Dueling pianos this evening were awesome. So much fun! The food was really good. The portions were good. Drinks could be a little stronger. Food is bar food but it's done nicely. Our waitress was really terrific too. She allowed us to switch tables after our meal to be closer to the pianos. Great experience for a relaxing night out.

Recently did my sons birthday party here and I would say for the price you pay its really not worth it. over a grand for an hour and a half at least make it worth while. The service not so great but the games are fun. would I do another party here probably not would i go just for fun of course!

Went there with my father, little brother and little sister and it wasnt all that great. $74 dollars wasted for nothing, they gave us I beiieve only 90 points and most of the games use those points up quickly. After about 2 minutes of playing, we went over to reservation for dining. There was nobody there after waiting for service for a few good minutes, so we decided to leave. Honestly, it was fun but could've been better.

Apparently they don't like vertical drivers licenses. They have no other way to verify licenses and will not work with you at all, if it's vertical they assume that it's 100% fake, and no they don't have a scanner either. We had a group of 6 and we were waiting on 3 more so we decided to sit at the bar while we waited. We're all between the ages of 24-25, and we start to order drinks, we all obviously pull out or IDs, the 2nd person in our group hands his over and the bartender looks at it closely and then decides to hand it over to her manager, who is just sitting there with their hands crossed almost bird dogging her employee. She hands it's over and asks the manager if she would accept it, the manager looks at his ID for about 2-3 minutes straight looking at each and every detail and then says no I won't serve this one person because it's vertical and no other reason. Then we were told that we weren't worth getting a fine and going to jail over, there's an influx of fakes and kids out in the summer trying to sneak alcohol. Okay, I can understand that, if you're aware of that being an issue, why wouldn't you have a scanner? Or if you're worried about it why wouldn't you have a Peabody police officer present since that's a known issue to you? Again these are just a couple suggestions I can think of, if there's an obvious problem going on then you should have something to counter offense it. A drivers license is good for 5 years, you can get your first one when you're 16 and a half, and most people will renew their license before they turn 21, reason being that they want to enjoy a drink on their 21st birthday and not be stuck with a paper license which nobody in their right mind would accept. But anyways, most people will renew their license before they're 21, and that's what one of the people in our group did, to the best of my understanding his license will be valid anywhere he goes for 5 years on his birthday, so when he's either 25 or 26, I'm not entirely sure which of those years he falls under but at that point he will need to renew it and be given a horizontal drivers license. But yeah this place genuinely made me so mad about denying our friend I wanted to leave a review, we had 2 different people look at it and say no. These 2 people will tell you they don't want to take a fine or go to jail for serving a minor, okay, and you shouldn't. But to tell us just because it's vertical license and he's had a few years to update it. In Massachusetts you can renew your license up to one year before it expires, but even trying to reason with these people and tell them how it works, and why he has a different license didn't work, and this place didn't seem worth fighting over, nor did it deserve our business so all 6 of us just left when it was obvious they don't accept reasoning. We went to Dave & Buster's instead and our group was fully intact and 9 of us there, they were suspicious of his vertical license over there as well, but you know what? They had other means of verifying his license!! Crazy huh? And it was great, they took a few minutes, scanned it, did whatever the hell they needed to do, and accepted the validity of it. That's what any other establishment with a liquor license should do -- their proper due diligence. And guess what? Because they weren't stubborn or hard nosed like "In The Game" and actually had common sense and means to verify things, we spent probably about $600-$700 collectively. I'm actually extremely pleased that $0 went to "In The Game" they obviously don't want people's business, they don't deserve it, and none of us will ever return there again. The bar staff and manager was even staring us down from the window after our entire group walked out on them not spending a dime. Have fun in there!!

This is definitely more for kids, liked a suped up Chuck E. Cheese's. There weren't many games that I saw here that I wouldn't see at other arcades I frequent. We did enjoy the laser tag which was lame because we booked a game for 3 and they split our team. My team won because I had a group of teenagers with me and my friend had what he called "little munchkins." The saving grace would have to be the food right? Yes and no. The nachos was the largest I've seen anywhere. It was good, but it was also mostly cheese poured all over. Also, there was a family that ate there and just let the kids party all over. (Running around, recording dance videos, uhm...the arcade is just beyond the hostess)

I just want to say yes I am a 45-year-old child I'd like playing games that the tickets were being added to my card hit the bonus seven times each time for over 540 tickets on the ticket circus game went to check my card only had 117 tickets explain the problem they got the manager manager comes out with a piece of paper showing how many times I swiped it which was also wrong because I played much more than that showed he says all the computers not wrong. Show it the end of the day I should've had over 4000 tickets I wound up with the 117+ they gave me 1000 complete BS if I was really a child I'd be very upset think they need some better management here

Brought my little brother here for his birthday and I think I had more fun than him. Games are a little pricey but I definitely recommend hitting this place on Wednesday half price day. The staff is great and the food is surprisingly good. Another note you can also drink a beer and play some games for adults

Came on a Saturday night with our kids had to wait a half hour to be seated for dinner which was fine but then waited about a half hour if not longer for our food to come out when there were hardly any people in the circular dinning area, my pizza was cold the grilled chicken on our salad was cold and then when we proceeded to come out of the restaurant to the gaming area to do laser tag VR rock climbing etc that we paid $130 sum for prior to be told half the stuff was shut down due to lack of staff etc. I would not have bought $130 worth of "activities" for us to do if we were going to be told we could not use them ! Kids working the stations were very nice and it's not their fault but place should be run a lot better and if your not allowed to use the "activity" stations after a certain time that needs to be posted listed said etc to a patron buying this. So in all when you go somewhere and spend just under $300 you should NOT be leaving dissatisfied and your kids should not be leaving unempressed either! Will boast this to all I know.

It took 2 hours to get a pizza and wings and 30 mins to get a sprite and the sprite is seltzer water next time I come I'm going to somewhere else for food it's not worth the wait and it's been sitting out for a bit. if or when I go again I'm am only going to do games not food

We love In the Game! It's a great place to take our two kids and let them run and play while we enjoy a drink at the bar!

We took my son here for the first time for his birthday. They are pretty good at keeping up with cleaning things down. They wiped our bowling balls before we started to play. It was good but the arcade games go by fast, well only few games even with a good amount of money in the cards. The kids got to go home with some small stuff they won from the games. They should make a section for optional purchasing cause I would have boughten a few things if it wasn't just for prizes. The store has a lot of things parents would purchase for their kids. I know my kids wanted a few things like the lava lamp and mechanical robot. But other than that the staff were very nice.

Cool spot for games. Larger than some other gaming spots I've been to. Definitely tailored toward older kids. Good assortment of prizes. I would come again. Will also have to try out their food.

My family had a negative experience here. They advertised a lower price on their website, then charged a higher price in person. They wouldn't honor the lower price, simply stating their prices changed. Additionally, certain attractions weren't included in their pass, as advertised on their website. Management won't respond to our messages. Bad business.

I was impressed! Walked in, put $10 on a card. It literally lasted me an hour to play games since they're all reasonably priced. The games are mostly all fun old school arcade games. The bartender was nice. She was funny and drinks were reasonable. We didnt get food, but it looked decent. Decent prices, too. They have a ropes course, laser tag, bowling, and a pizza oven. I'll go back!

Don't waste your time this place is terrible just go to Dave and busters trust me the place is awful and charges way too much for games that don't work and they don't even give you the right amount of tickets huge waste of time

Smaller Dave and Busters, great for kids we took our nieces there and they had a fun time. Food was gross - the nachos were actually pretty good but I got the chicken tacos and I'm pretty sure a dog treat would've been better. Chicken was dry and bland, the tortillas, gross and stale. Their drink lines must not be clean because everyone's water tasted funky. Definitely won't be back.

Stopped in for an afternoon snack and some gaming. The place is super clean and has a great assortment or games to play for all ages. The ropes course looks super cool, although I didn't have time to try it out today. I will definitely plan to do it next! We had some apps to share and everything was excellent. Can't wait to try more of the menu!

Very cool spot for the area! The kids were disappointed when they couldn't win the claw machine but Nate at the front desk made sure we were all happy and really made the night. Thanks again and keep up the good work. It's rare to see happy employees that care about the customers and everyone here from the server at the restaurant to the guys at the high ropes to Nate at the front desk were awesome. If it wasn't for that I think this would have been a 2 start instead of 5 star experience.

This is a brand new, absolutely fabulous gaming heaven! Unlike Dave and busters that focuses on adults, this is focused on kids of all ages. They have it all! Laser tag, rock climbing, rope course, bowling, arcade games, a restaurant, and a bar! The staff is very helpful, friendly, and professional. It is sparkling clean, and smells great! Ha! (You wouldn't even know there are a ton of kids inside!) Birthday parties are amazing there. We had our child's very large party there, and the parents were so impressed, we've already attended 2 additional parties there! I would recommend it a 100%! I'm so glad they took down the old bonkers - which was past it's expiration date. The whole plaza is now being revamped with cool stores and such a family friendly feel! Go check out In The Game!

In the Game is my new favorite bar to hang at in Peabody. The food is great, my favorite is the steak , hamburgers and love the huge plate of nachos. After dinner we go and bowl a few rounds which is fun to with family and friends. Also, the managers, bartenders and staff always make you feel welcome. Give it a try you will be happy you did it's a fun night out!

This was our first time at "In The Game" in Peabody. We truly enjoyed ourselves. The place was action packed. Thanks to Nate, Mike and Nick!

Ok so, this place is really cool and state of the art and has a great restaurant with friendly restaurant staff, I've been here twice now and both times I have noticed that the staff running the rockwall, vr and ropes course don't really know how to talk to or handle young children. Some of the behaviours are not so outright bad or inappropriate but they can be trained a little better, example: one of my kids lost his way in the vr game and instead of gently moving him around by his shoulders he grabbed him by the vr set and twisted him around, again not so bad but a little more gentleness would be good. Verbal example, we were on the ropes course, the employee told him to stop crying and to take it down, he's not even 5 yet, I think it must be because all of the staff are teenagers and are not use to dealing with young children.

Place is awesome. Food and drinks are super inexpensive. Games are worth it - we loaded two $20 cards which came with 84 credits each. There are activities for all ages. The virtual reality games are super cool. Definitely recommend.

We had lunch then a sales meeting. The place looks really new. The staff was really helpful and friendly. I ordered the barbecue burger, and it actually looked like the picture-- no exaggeration. It tasted very good. The fries were great too. Will visit again.

The service at the restaurant is horrible, not a single server acknowledged our presence and I even asked someone for service and no one came over to our table. 30 minutes of waiting, we walked out. First and last time. Should have went to Dave & Busters

Attended a corporate function here and enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. It was new and clean. Laser tag was awesome! The arcade games were varied and fun - and there were lots of things to redeem tokens on. Ice cream social was yum but the rest of the food wasn't great. Nothing was labeled so I completely missed out on the soda offered. Also not enough glasses.

It's an arcade, so wasn't expecting much as far as the food goes, but was pleasantly surprised. Nachos were huge. Bbq buger was great and our server Brianna was tip notch. Very attentive and there when we needed her. Dropped check off promptly, since she could prob tell our 4 year old was getting sleepy.

So i wanted to do a review on In The Game game complex in Peabody ma, well we got there and it looked amazing inside, very clean, kind staff, and the food was great! How ever FYI Parents .. don't be fooled by the game packages, i found that they were a bit pricey after we had only swiped our in the game card for 3 games and to find out the cards had no more value after paying about $32 for each card.... seems kind of strange to pay so much and only be able to play 3 games... with the extra packages and 5.00 game play added on for a Promo... we did how ever enjoy the Virtual Reality game , it made you as you were actually in the game fighting off the boxes being flown at you with virtual swords in each hand..... the staff was super great.... the pizza was delicious and we only waited 15 minutes after we put our order in at the bar... i did tell the bartender that i found it a weii bit to pricey with the value and only getting to play a few games before the card ran out of funds... he spoke to the manager , which then approached me while we were eating our lunch, at the pizza bar, he was very kind and asked to speak with me, i politely said we are eating our lunch and signed up for 1pm laser tag, i told him sure i would speak with him after and on our way out.... my daughter told me not to, so we just quietly walked out with out him seeing us.... will i go back there again probably not, because its to pricey for my blood... but the girls did enjoy themselves and i did as well.... next time you wanna throw 100 out make sure your getting the total value for your money.... heres sum pics of our fun afternoon.... again its not that i don't like the place, because i do.. I'm just saying the pricing is sneaky esp with the packages deals....so do your homework before you purchase....after all its all about the kids, and seeing them disappointed after there cards were out of funds, well to me wasn't priceless... ~₩₩P~ still i give it 4 stars....

My son was excited we had a great time playing games together. The ticket redemption choices weren't that great but not a show stopper for us. The food however could be better. The staff was super friendly, our server was attentive and kind. But the pizza was terrible and it's a sin as you have a great pizza oven. That's why we ordered it. We got the wings and there was a funny after taste. We had to run home as my stomach got uncomfortable. We will definitely go back to play games. But will bring sandwiches .

Food very good. Decent value for the money, but portions are a bit small. Pizza, not so much....but being a pizza snob, I'm picky. The pizza was the only thing I was disappointed in ( ordered chicken fingers, onion rings and fries...basically pick food, for me and the kids) They do have an extensive menu, and I will be back, but not for the pizza.

Food was good and we had fun playing VR. Margaritas were tasty and strong. The waitress was nice and knowledgeable about the gluten free status of various foods but then we were accidentally served the gluten fries instead of the gluten free ones which was frustrating. Ribs, burger, nachos all good. Service a bit backed up. Overall a good experience and would eat there again.

This place is the best arcade in the world. In game is the best place to play eat have fun and best of all to hangout

This is strictly based on the arcade not much in the way of prizes here and a lot of the games are set not to win like limited balls in down the clown limited bags in tailgate toss. Space invaders one and done win wise unfortunately also no coupon deals so ends up being pricey compared to Dave and Buster's in that aspect. Not sure how the solution is to try other things when I just go for the arcade
