The 25 Best Restaurants in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico | Eater

"Despite being surrounded by coffee-growing regions such as San Sebastián del Oeste, Talpa de Allende, and the neighboring state of Nayarit, Puerto Vallarta is not known as a coffee destination. This is changing thanks to Biorel Villaseñor, who has brought attention to producer-driven coffee. Tucked away at the edge of the Bobadilla and Coapinole neighborhoods in the working-class area of El Pitillal, Café Ina is changing the narrative and the context in which specialty coffee is consumed. Go early and ask Villaseñor, who also serves as a barista, to make you his pour over of choice with his current favorite bean. Or go at night when he stirs cocktails using raicilla, which he likes to source from the mountains of Talpa de Allende." - Paola Briseño-González

Best specialty coffee in all of Puerto Vallarta. Such a beautifully curated space inside and the owner is fantastic. Love this spot and definitely a must try when you’re in town.

By day a Coffee shop and at night pouring unique Cocktails Café INA is the brainchild of Biorel Villaseñor, his spot in El Pitillal taking an artisan approach to beverages without the elevated prices of spots serving less curated versions along the tourist corridor. Operating with minimal signage, just an open door with a long bar and lounging cats, guests stopping by will find Biorel happy to talk beans from San Sebastián del Oeste to Nayarit and whether one chooses a scalding Pour Over or Cold Brew the complexity and attention to detail shows with every sip.

One of THE best places for coffee in Vallarta. Get chatting with the owner about coffee and you’ll really learn something 😊 Plus you’ll get music by Sade, Billy Idol… a great 80s-90s mix. Thank you for a great experience!

Google
Absolutely a must go place for excellent coffee in Puerto Vallarta. The owner is very skilled in crafting wonderful drinks. We went during the day for flat whites and also had a cortado. We were in search of fresh roasted beans to buy and those are available here also. In the evening there are coffee cocktails available. We definitely plan to return.
