Had the most amazing time at Inchadoney. From check in ,to staff kindness and professionalism. The food is amazing both Dunes bistro and the wonderful Gulf Stream restaurant the experience was brilliant. Its our favourite place in Ireland. The guest experience is what's foremost at the ethos of this place. Its the place to chill and recharge. We couldn't recommend highly enough. We will definitely be back.

The hotel was absolutely amazing 10/10! I stayed a while ago, and from the moment I arrived at reception, the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The weather was perfect, which made the whole experience even better. The spa and food were pure luxury, and the cocktails were incredible. The staff in general were really kind and attentive specially a Spanish guy from the lounge who made some truly outstanding cocktails. Overall, such a friendly atmosphere and top-notch service.

As a holiday gift I was given a night in Inchydoney, so with the weather being typically Irish, nothing to be done in the garden, we thought we'd go and enjoy ourselves, and we were so glad we did. Everything , from check in to check-out was great, and it's one of those places where you wish you could stay for a week or two. The food was great, the room with its view out over the bay just perfect, and on a windy autumn evening, a spot near the fireplace in the residents' lounge really feels cosy despite the size of the room. But you can also feel that in summer it would be a perfect seaside spot for the family

I often wonder why Inchydoney is so special, what is it about the place that means you just totally relax there. During my most recent visit, I've concluded it's everything, they just do every aspect really really well. The rooms, the food, the spa, the pool, the lounge are all excellent. But it's the staff that bring it all together, all so plesant and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with a smile. I'm looking forward to going back already. Thank for Inchydoney for the opportunity to chill and unwind!

The location of this hotel is truly unique. You’re immediately drawn in by the special atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. The rooms are spacious and clean, making you feel completely comfortable and relaxed. We’ve stayed here three times already and will definitely be coming back next year. It’s a truly special and unforgettable place that you’ll want to return to again and again.

Stayed for two nights in the hotel. Quiet weekend break, essentially staying in hotel for the 2 days. Made use of the fantastic spa and had some treatments. Ate in the restaurant and bar both nights. Stands out as our best hotel stay in Ireland - staff go above and beyond and are so helpful. Excellent areas in hotel for unwinding, lounge area was fantastic, and restaurant with sea views fantastic. Complimentary chocolates both nights and homemade jam on checkout were nice touches.

Such a fabulous place to visit. Just park the car and chill out. You can go to the pool, to the sauna, for treatments, to the games room, to the book room and loads more. The rooms are spotless, the food in The Dune is absolutely amazing. Had fish and chip one night, had hake another night, I must say we'll done to the chef's. Not overly priced for such an amazing hotel. You'll be happy with the prices. As for the staff, they are absolutely amazing. Always smiling, friendly and helpful. Ali on Reception is a great asset to here. She's so friendly, and down to earth and would help you in any way she can. And best of all she loves working here and loves her job she told me. 100% worth a visit. The beach is amazing 👏

Yelp
This resort, staff, and views were all so AMAZING!! I love Ireland!! The resort is on the ocean on a side of a small cliff with just stunning views. There's a spa on-site with so many choices and a salt water indoor pool. Along with a sauna and steam room. There's a restaurant on site which I highly recommend to make reservations for. Taking strolls on the beach with something nice and hot to drink (thanks to a food truck on site) and a delish treat. Your tucked away for privacy from the rest of the world but just a car ride to everywhere you want to go. I wanted a more peaceful vibe and absolutely Loved this hotel! The rooms all had ocean or partical.ocean views. We would leave our door open to hear the sounds of the ocean. It was such a treat. There's also wild rabbits in the early morning and I saw some of the prettiest birds. This was a true loving getaway!

Yelp
We thought it was lovely. Beautiful setting and a nicely remodeled (seemingly) older property. I love the furnishings and the use of wood in the common areas. The entire staff responded immediately to any requests we made. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Service here at the cafe is horrible. After having asked 3 times where our cake was we left after 20 min. Pretty view but not worth the trouble.

Yelp
This hotel is wonderful. The location is second-to-none overlooking unspoiled beaches. The staff could not have been any more helpful either, we were a party of thirty here for the bank holiday weekend and nothing was an issue. The food was probably my favourite part however, the seafood especially was to die for. I am only home from here a couple of hours and I'm already longing for the prawns starter from the Dunes Bar menu, wow! I did not have one bad meal here for the whole long weekend. I can't testify for the breakfasts however, as we were staying in the self catering apartments so are there in the mornings. My one gripe (and it's a very small one) is that the swimming pool area didn't have any jacuzzi or hot tub area(there is a whirlpool but it's stand up and not particularly warm so not somewhere you can really kick back in). This is a great hotel with even better staff, our big family of 30+ have already booked again for next year!

Yelp
This review is for the bar only. Was recommended by a friend. We were not impressed. Though the beach is incredibly beautiful, and the surroundings too, especially with a bit of light shining on the fields and the houses. The bar itself has no view, which is a shame considering the nice beach below. Service was very slow, drinks and appetizers - nothing special about them, not overpriced but not really cheap either, just what you would expect. And the waiters are a crew of very young men and women probably working as interns for free. The room in itself is not really nice, so-so and again, really not paying tribute to the beach below.

Yelp
Late review but def worth while writing about. This lovely beach resort boasts location, view and service to make yours a wonderful stay. An ocean to behold and the windswept sands by the shore is just the sight and the sound that makes our room a nest for relaxation. I suggest you also try and order their apple licquer, homemade jam and chocolate to up that level of pampership. When it comes to soothing the body, dip in their warm ocean-salted pool and sweat out in the spa, because your skin will be a porous angel. Me and the wifey came out here like we had a soulful therapy session, and hopefully you will to. On a final note, thanks for a best birthday experience.

Yelp
The Dunes Bistro is absolutely fantastic. The best seafood chowder I have ever tried. Full of freshly caught seafood, simmering in a rich creamy broth. I also tried their smoked salmon sandwich and their tapas plate. Everything was made to perfection. The staff is friendly and fast. I recommend to come a bit early for lunch, especially on a sunny day, as it gets rather busy and the wait rather long.

Yelp
It's important to remember that the truly outstanding feature of Inchydoney is the setting - the stunning beauty, the wildness of the scenery, the sense of truly being away from it all, gloriously enhanced by every last kilometre of the distancing journey along the peninsula edge. The hotel itself is well run and friendly. Whether its style is to your taste or not depends on just that. If minimalist understatement if your thing, chances are you may feel dizzy pretty quickly as you walk the corridors of Inchydoney, where strong pattern and a certain kitsch charm dominate at every turn, and artworks of all sizes and styles add to a slight sense of stylistic mayhem that may not be fully intentional, and definitely doesn't feel a la mode, but is strangely comforting and homely in its way. I like it. I like the generous size of the chairs in the resident's lounge, the predominance of comfort over overt style, the sense of old-world values the surroundings imbue. And the fabulously sinky sofas are so cosy to curl up on and read your book. I had this possibly out-dated idea, though, that a family room would mean an adjoining room for the kids, and that turned out not to be the case, disappointingly, as four in a room, large and all as it was, was a little too crowded for comfort, especially when small kids wake at the crack of dawn, full of chat. Cue adult regret at that last over-filled nightcap. A sense of separation afforded by an adjoining room would have added a very important extra to our trip. Breakfast at Inchydoney is an incredibly ample and delicious affair, and availing of a few pastries on the way out for later isn't frowned upon - the philosophy seems to be, it's here, it's yours, take it. Service when we were there - which wasn't a busy time - was a bit unfocussed though, and we had to ask a couple of times for ordered items. There was a sense of lack of attentiveness that comes from no one person being allocated to your table - or so it seemed, anyway. The food in the main restaurant (which doubles as the breakfast area in the morning), which is expensive, is good. The bar food - also expensive and over-priced for these times - is also satisfactory, and the service attentive. They make families feel very welcome here, although the restrictions around children and pool hours is annoying and worth checking out before you plan your day. I do believe that family hotels should not place restrictions like these on families - it's discriminating to children who in my experience are really well behaved and just part of the fun, same as the parents! I did see it from the other side, though, when I got chatting to a woman in the sauna who had sought refuge in Inchydoney to get away from her young brood, and seemed a bit put out that there were children there. I understood her pain, could even identify with it, as the odd time I'm away from the kids with my husband, trying to coax back to flame the pre-kids fire, I've about as much interest in other people's members of the species as I do in taking up an intensive course in underwater basket-weaving. But I accept that they're part of the world and have a right to be there and are therefore not disposable of on my whim! Plus that's what zoning out was invented for. The spa here is gorgeous and personally I love the seawater pool, it feels really refreshing and is much preferable (and better for your health) than the heavily chlorinated standard, so it gets full marks from me. Overall, my hunch is that if you walk away from here feeling very unsatisfied, you may want to investigate possible deeper causes, because once you know what you (and your pocket) are in for, there's a whole lot to enjoy, in natural surroundings that would ease the troubles of the lost, soften the intentions of the cruel, and make even the most miserable among us smile as they sit on the white sands of the adjoining strand, and gaze in wonder at the beauty of this special part of the world.

Yelp
Something of a curate's egg, this place - good in parts. The setting, of course, is magnificent, the hotel is nicely done, particularly the very comfortable residents' lounge. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and pleasant, but perhaps lacked some training as they could be inattentive (in a quality, premium establishment like this, you expect to be asked if you'd like another drink as you relax in the residents' lounge, rather than have to stand at the bar until a staff member appears; likewise in the restaurant, I'd expect the wine glasses to be topped up during our meal). These are minor quibbles. Our big objection is to the mass-produced Irish breakfast. We had been forewarned, and went early to breakfast in the hope that it would be cooked to order. It wasn't. The sausages looked as though they'd been deep fried, while the bacon was so overcooked as to be all but inedible. The rest of the breakfast items are lovely though - ample ceral, fresh fruit and freshly squeezed juices - and the fish of the day I opted for one morning (monkfish) was perfect. We booked a weekend package that included a moonlit sea kayaking outing (outstanding) and a day's boat fishing out of Courtmacsherry, where the skipper was particularly helpful, and the fishing was good. Dinner in the restaurant was nice, and they kindly cooked the cod I caught that day, offering to prepare it any of the ways offered on their fish main courses on the menu (which were several).

Yelp
Amazing location right on the beach. Staff were fantastic through our stay. Dinner in Gulf Stream restaurant is highly recommended - lots of locally produced food with a traditional but elegant menu. Spa is a nice addition to the hotel and treatments are reasonably priced.
