Locally owned and decidedly grown-up, with house-made pasta and bread, a capable bar, and occasional live music. Coral Springs Talk profiled its opening at The Walk, noting a chef-driven approach and community focus.

Best authentic Italian restaurant we have had in Broward. Our second time here and both service and food deserve 5 stars. The homemade pesto pasta and rigatoni were delicious!!! What a gem in Coral Springs !

Irene the hostess was super sweet and very friendly! Kelly our waitress was very nice, and attentive. Our food was delicious and we can’t wait to go back! Beautiful and clean atmosphere. The owner even came to our table to introduce himself, very friendly and great touch to the service! Thanks for a great meal!

I went there for a group happy hour event with my husband. That was fun! After we stayed for dinner at the bar. The food was good. We had the chicken picatta, penne vodka, and eggplant appetizer. Everything tasted fine but I will say the price point for the food did not match the quantity.

I have been wanting to go here for a while and when I got a gift certificate for $25 I knew it was a sign to go for my birthday! Staff is so friendly, we had Joanna as our server and she was so knowledgeable about the menu and made us feel excited about the food options we choose. The attention was amazing! Because I was celebrating a birthday they placed a balloon on the table for the special occasion ; the owner also came by and spoke to us for a bit and gave us a gift made by his youngest daughter which was so sweet. The food was soooo delicious, my husband was amazed by the octopus appetizer, so tender and juicy. The entree pasta dishes were tasty and definitely enough to take home the rest. The dessert was a gift from the restaurant as well. We will definitely return to try more dishes and for the warm service.

This place is such a rip off. We got an appetizer, two steak dinners, and diet cokes. Without drinking our tab was over 200$ let me explain. The steaks on the menu are all $51 the waiter told us there was a surf and turf special tonight which was the same exact 51$ 8oz filet from the regular menu but included a lobster tail. What do you think the price would be to include the lobster tail? We thought 20$ up charge at best. The surf and turf was $110!!! $60 extra dollars for a lobster tail. ONE LOBSTER TAIL. The steak was like a Publix prime but that wasn’t even the main issue. The biggest rip off I have seen we will never spend another dime here and told all our friends too. Divieto across the street is so much better for the prices and phenomenal food!

Excellent experience. The ambiance is top-notch and the waitress that we always get is fantastic and has great hospitality skills. The lamb shank risotto is out of this world. Never get tired of ordering it. Can’t wait to order it again on my next visit.

Attended a special VIP after party reception for a well known televised event and the staff did a fine job of attending to the large number of attendees’ needs and wants. The atmosphere was very warm as was the menu offerings which exceeding expectations both in variety and portion size. Definitely stick around for dessert! #incontro #italian #cuisine #shirleytemple #pasta #spaghetti #bruschetta #thewalkatuniversity #coralsprings #browardcounty #florida

Yelp
Meh. I was really excited to try this place out since it's such a different vibe than what The Walk usually has, but honestly it was just okay. The ambiance gives off fancy, but the food wasn't worth the prices. I will say that their bruschetta is fantastic (did not take a photo). The large pieces of shaved parmesan with the pungent garlic mixed in the tomato and basil was delicious. I also really enjoyed my espresso martini (did not take a photo). The soup I ordered took forever to come out (did not take a photo). As we were waiting for our food, two tables surrounding us sent their food back so that worried us. As a result of that, it felt like it took longer than usual to get our meals since I'm sure the kitchen was scrambling to re-fire the meals sent back. My boyfriend ordered the lamb special and I went with the rigatoni alla bolognese. He enjoyed the lamb, but I was not impressed with the pasta. It wasn't horrible, but the pasta did not taste homemade or worth the money. Server seemed bored and uninterested. Did not offer to make any recommendations, but did give us free dessert of our choice for my boyfriend's birthday, so that was nice. The owner and other members of the staff personally delivered the complimentary key lime pie and sang him happy birthday. Would I return, nah.

Yelp
Such a nice evening dining out. Wanted to get out of the area but not drive east. So we went north to Coral Springs. Greeted and taken on a little tour of the place. We had great bread and salad. I had a delicious shrimp pasta dish and will be back. They have lots of ambience and live music. It's huge and great for parties.

Yelp
Nice new restaurant located right in The Walk in Coral Springs. Went on a Saturday afternoon and was the only table dining in. The staff is nice and they bring the daily specials to the table on an iPad with pictures which is convenient for the visual people. They have a lot of different Italian options that cater to everyone. Prices are decent $20-$30 range for entrees. The beef carpaccio was light and refreshing. The meat was fresh. A nice portion that's sharable. I also got the Mona Lisa salad and it was delicious. A tangy citrus vinegarette with lots of fresh greens and some goat cheese topped with thin apple slides. My friend's lasagna was very hearty and rich with beefy flavor. A little on the oily side for my taste but the flavors were good.

Yelp
I went on a Saturday night, made reservations just in case. It's in the busy Plantation Walk. We were taken to our table by the hostess, the dining room was mostly empty only 4 other tables occupied. The dining room is nicely decorated but very dark, had to remind the waiter to light the candle on our table. He took our drink order then came back to tell us about the specials. Had to remind him to please bring the bread basket he told us about. I ordered the pasta fagioli soup, a little pricey I think it was $12, my wife ordered the pasta carbonara and I had the risotto with fruta de mare. The food was good but the portions are small. Very little pancetta in the carbonara, only 2 shrimps in the risotto. They had a couple of busboys but the dirty bread and soup dishes were left on the table for a long time. Water was never refilled and the waiter although very nice was somewhat absent.

Yelp
Slow Saturday, bc it was pouring down rain and windy. Walked inside and we were immediately greeted and seated. Super friendly staff - manager asked if we were celebrating anything, we weren't, but proceeded to bring me a balloon to celebrate date night. Meatballs with the whipped ricotta are a must. So good and huge, that was husband wanted to return the next night for dinner, just to get the meatballs. Felt mignon was cooked perfectly and served with Barolo sauce. The roasted vegetables that accompanied the steak were fresh and absolutely delicious. I could have just had a plate of the vegetables. Husband ordered the pistachio crusted Branzino that was buttery and also very good. The. steak was served with fingerling potatoes, which I didn't want and substitute for the risotto with mushrooms for a small up charge. Risotto was creamy and prepared with the same roasted vegetables that came with the steak. Couldn't come close to making a dent in the risotto, not bc it wasn't tasty, but everything else was equally delicious, I didn't have room to eat all that we ordered. In additional plus to the food and service was that the staff presents the specials on an iPad so you can see how each item is prepared before you order. I've only experienced this at a few restaurants, and I find it helpful in placing my order. We selected the Branzino based on the photo, which didn't disappoint.

Yelp
Great cold pasta. Loved the seafood dish with cold claims and the service was great when we helped clear the table ourselves. Family was so happy with how they conserve water by not filling up your glass. Oh and don't forget to order an old fashion with mushed cherries and too much bitters. Can't wait to never go back.

Yelp
Second time dining at Incontro. Service is impeccable! I noted on my reservation it was a birthday celebration and to my surprise our table was decorated with a ballon! It made my guests feel special! Ambiance is great, not too bright and not too dark. First time I dined they had an acoustic guitar player and it was a pleasant surprise. Food is amazing!! I've had their lamb shank with risotto, beef carpaccio, and the rest of my party had branzino, veal parm, and penne vodka. Raven reviews from all. For dessert we had lava cake and the tiramisu. Looking forward to my next meal at Incontro. Great find!

Yelp
Delicious, hot prepared properly. Elena P was on top of her game. Greeted us told us the specials, checked on us with a smile. Pedro the owner greeted all of us at the door and gave each woman a rose. (Mother's Day). You could hear each other talking and actually hear nice Italian music too.

Yelp
4 of us, huge cooks, foodies etc went with high expectations and darn near left without paying, it was that bad. 1. Warm Martinis and beer. Not a good start. 2. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks. 30 minutes before the bread arrived, after our appetizers 3. Entrees were the rice ball. Soggy and cold The grilled octopus, small bites lost in a very oily bunch of greens. Muscles, the "Pot liquor" was so much butter it started to harden within 10 minutes. 160$ on these appetizers and 4 drinks. Outrageous. I will say our waiter was great , replace the warm lichee martini, the second came back with ice cubes. Not happy. 15 minutes to get our check after we asked for it To me the cooks must have been replaced by monkeys as the vibe of all of this like a cheap buffet. Warm drinks , cold food. So expecting a great night our all 4 of us we left totally disappointed. As I looked around the place was about half food but there was no food only drinks. I think it was locals who hang out for drinks. Definitely not a restaurant vibe at all. Yuck.

Yelp
Made a reservation online for 6 pm on Friday July 18th. We arrived to find the restaurant not open, dark and no signs as to why. Does anyone know why they are closed?

Yelp
Located on University Drive at The Walk, we have now come twice and we loved it each time. Make your reservations on Open Table. Beautifully decorated bar and dining room. The menu is extensive and their food and presentation is excellent. Our server Elana was absolute perfection. Something for everyone and all diets. Live music in the dining room is a really nice touch. Will be back again next time we are in Coral Springs!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place on date night a couple months ago. Very happy accident. I wish I could remember her name at the moment, but we had an extremely friendly and knowledgeable server. She guided us toward few of their freshly made pasta dishes, including one she modifies from the menu. The Arancini are amazing. Both pasta dishes we ate were absolutely fantastic. The only mark against would be that carpaccio is one of my absolute favorites and I didn't care much for theirs. Very little flavor. They were very kind to give us complimentary dessert for our occasion. The guitar player makes for a very nice ambience when we were there on a Friday night. Very highly recommend this restaurant. A new favorite.

Yelp
Nice big restaurant with great atmosphere great service drinks and food. We had a nice Christmas dinner here everything was delicious from the appetizer to the desserts and coffee. The place was crowded of course it was Christmas!

Yelp
We tried to dine in the restaurant last night with friends. We were excited to try the food, and thought the ambience was nice. However, we sat at our table for over 15 minutes and not one person came over to our table (not even to tell us someone would be coming over soon!). Unfortunately we ultimately decided to get up and leave. When trying to go for an upscale vibe, service should be excellent. The service (or lack there of) was unacceptable. Hopefully they can get their act together, and train their staff to be more attentive. I want to leave 1 star, but leaving 2 as the food may have been good (even though we didn't get to try!)

Yelp
C- The quality of meals and level of services provided did not justify their high prices. Seasoning, temperature of meals upon delivery etc etc were off. Ambiance was ok although all of the windows were dirty (as if someone had cleaned them with dirty water) which took away from everything. I don't have a positive outlook for this place.

Arthur M.

Yelp
Haven't been there since it opened...I understand from friends who have there since and told me it never got any better...too bad the owner doesn't know how to run his business after all this time....must not listen to the customers??

Yelp
The food and the cocktails were amazing. Must order the lamb chops and a smoky old fashioned. The ambiance is very relaxed and elegant.

Yelp
The food is nothing special - went to this location twice , it's always freezing inside. The staff is super sweet and helpful. First time there i got a steak and it was awful , second time i thought i would go with pasta and it was also awful. Like something premade frozen and brought out .

Yelp
We had a great dinner there for 10 people and everything was superb. The facility is beautiful, it's easy to find, and there is ample parking. Every staff member we encountered was wonderful and helpful and pleasant and knowledgeable. We were treated like special guests from the moment we walked in the door. And the food... Beautiful presentation, healthy ingredients, and so delicious. Everyone in our group was extremely happy with the evening.

Yelp
Visited Incontro for my sister's birthday back in October. I was pleasantly surprised by the more upscale dining experience especially for The Walk in Coral Springs. With that said, everything here is VERY expensive. More than we initially thought. Le boyfriend and I arrived a bit early to have a glass of wine at the bar beforehand. Great service from the bar staff and excellent expansive wine list! I loved that the tables had balloons for those that were celebrating an occasion that evening - very nice touch from the restaurant. We ordered two apps to share between the five of us - the bruschetta and the muscles. Everything was great but the prices for these were a bit extreme. I ordered the pistachio Branzino special which was absolutely amazing! We also ordered a side of the a la vodka pasta which for a small plate of pasta being over $20 is also a bit excessive. All the pasta dishes were phenomenal and my dad loved his veal Parmesan as well. The service was really great and this was certainly a superior dining experience. Overall, besides the astronomical pricing, this was a wonderful restaurant to visit for a special occasion. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
Andrea at the bar, truly made our experience a great one. Food was good overall. Incontro is kinda hidden in the walk, right next to Kilwins, it was really slow but I think a lot of people don't really know it's open and there. It certainly has a lot of potential, outside seating is available, very nice vibe inside the restaurant too. They do have happy hour from 4-7pm.

Yelp
Went to Incontro for the first time earlier today for Father's Day and let's just say I left full and happy! From the service- Elena was great and the food / drinks 10/10! The owner - Pedro even came out to all the tables and gave a free little bottle of whiskey for a Fathers Day treat, We will be back!

Mike C.

Yelp
We went to Incontro to celebrate my wife's birthday and it was a wonderful experience. The food was deliicious and the service was superb. The waitress came to the table just before every course and checked to see if it was timely to submit the requests so that they we were not rushed. They brought a delightful desert compliments of the owner.....who also came out to give his best wishes. On top of everything we were given free deserts for our next visit. Atmosphere was very pretty. Can't say enough good things about Incontro. Mike Carbo

Yelp
Best Italian restaurant I've been to outside of Italy. Pedro, the owner, came by and welcomed us himself. Everything except the gelato is made in house and is so fresh. The bread was so good I had to stop myself from filling up there. My pasta blew me away. It was simple penne with vegetables, but the flavors were complex but beautifully married. The desserts were good, but I expected more especially after my entree. The creme brulee was slightly over cooked and grainy, and I found the tiramisu to be a touch too sweet. Overall an exceptional meal still. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Came here with my coworker after work and noticed this place is open until 11 so we came and gave it a try since it's the new hotspot in Coral Springs. It is a bit pricey but we felt like we deserved it. The place is Nice and fancy, dim lighting great for romantic dates with your partner and/or family celebrations. When we came there was nobody there so we were seated pretty quickly. They also have a huge bar, but we wanted to sit in a booth. They offered complementary fresh baked bread with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette to add on the side. Service was good and attentive. I have a fettuccine Alfredo with chicken it was good but when I warmed it up for leftover The next day it was super oily. My friend has a lasagna and she didn't appreciate all the cheese, but she knows for next time to ask for a little cheese. The tiramisu was pretty good as well not too sweet. And my Bellini was on point! We definitely going to come back here to try out their other food options and also because they make fresh homemade pasta!

Yelp
I met my girlfriend here for a Friday night dinner shortly after Incontro opened. Incontro is the Italian word for meeting. There is a parking lot behind the restaurant and some limited parking in the front. Owned by Pedro and Christina Bitar, Incontro opened in the spot previously occupied by Cubanera Restaurant and Bar. The restaurant has seating for 180 diners including 30 seats in the covered outdoor area. Owner Pedro Bitar is from Guayaquil, Ecuador and he has been in the restaurant business for many years. He previously owned La Strega in Pembroke Pines. His inspiration for the restaurant was an Italian eatery combined with a steakhouse. The restaurant has a private VIP room, high-top tables, booths, and a lounge for smaller groups. Every dish is made from scratch and bread and pasta is made in house. The pasta machines are from Italy. When we arrived the restaurant was very busy and we were told by the hostess in an indifferent way that we should be prepared to wait. We couldn't even find a seat at the bar. Fortunately we caught the eye of Pedro Bitar himself and he very kindly gave us an impromptu tour of the restaurant after which he found us a table in the very classy and well appointed dining room. We sat down and checked out the menu and then waited, waited, and waited for any sign of a server. I was in desperate need of a glass of water and I had to ask three different people before I was finally able to get one. Finally our server came over and I had a few questions about the cocktails and wine and all I was met with was I don't know. He also seemed very rushed and not interested in finding out the answers so I stuck with the water for my meal. We were given complimentary bread with a small amount of balsamic vinegar and olive oil. For an appetizer we ordered the meatballs which came with two meatballs in marinara and a mound of ricotta ($12). The sauce was wasn't anything special and the meatballs were very dense. For our dinner we both ordered the chicken parmigiana with penne ($22). I thought mine was okay but my friend didn't care for hers and barely touched it. When our server finally came back he noticed she didn't eat he said "What? You didn't like it." and then he just turned his back and muttered whatever. After the terrible service we received that night we just had to laugh. At that point we were done and skipped dessert in favor of a visit to Kilwins. We have a beloved Italian place close by so based on my experience with the staff here I doubt I will be back. The owner is very sweet however which is why I am not giving the review lower than 3 stars and I do wish him the best.

Yelp
Ate here last night for my birthday. Front start to finish it was a fantastic expirence. My wife had told them we were celebrating when she made the reservations, and we were greeted with a Happy Birthday balloon on the table. The hostess was so friendly and gave us a little background on the resturant. Our server was very attentive and friendly as well. Everything is made from scratch and authetic. I had the rigatoni bolognese and it was delicious. The homemade pasta and sauce really felt like something from grandma's kitchen. My wife had the Salmon which was fresh and well prepared. I stole a bite of her mashed potatoes, which were no doubt made from real potatoes, not like the pre-made mush you get at most chains. For desert I ordered cannolis and the staff made the plate extra decorative and even sang Happy Birthday which I wasn't expecting. What I also wasn't expecting was them to comp the dessert, but they did. A very nice gesture indeed. The atmosphere was great with live music coming from the bar, but not overpowering just enough to hear but still have a normal conversation over. This was our first time here but for sure won't be our last. Thank you for a great meal/experience!

Yelp
I was excited to try this new restaurant in Coral Springs. I'm a sucker for an Italian restaurant. But the dishes we ordered felt short of my expectations, considering their pasta is in the $20-$30 price range! The pesto and sun-dried tomato pasta were heavy, probably because of the cream. Unfortunately, with the cream, a lot of the pesto flavor gets washed away. The Frutti di mare was much better, and it had a good share of seafood. The pasta wasn't cooked al-dente, but then again, the server never asked. M Yo me, the biggest disappointment was the cheese. If I'm paying $28 for a pasta dish, the last thing I want is to top it off with Kraft's "Parmesan" cheese. That really threw me off completely, especially at an "authentic" Italian restaurant. I might come back for their happy hour, but will likely skip their dinner.

Yelp
I highly recommend eating here for a nice night out. Elena is a great waitress. Very attentive and sweet. Definitely ask for her! The food is delicious. And the atmosphere of the restaurant is very elegant and they have live music certain nights.

Yelp
Ordered a meal for delivery. Menu price, came to $21.45. Delivery price , $28.30. So I figured a tip was included .Paid exact in cash. The delivery person asks, what, no tip?

Yelp
Great atmosphere and attentive staff. Cosy setting with music on some nights. Food excellently prepared and tasty with their pasta made from scratch daily. Had the chicken parm, Marsala and Lasagna. Portions are large and reasonally priced. Will be returning, great Italian

Yelp
Food and service has always been great! Highly recommend this restaurant. The ambiance is perfect for a romantic dinner.

Yelp
I'm absolutely crazy over Incontro! It was a beautiful night, last night, so we sat outside. It so pretty and peaceful. I ordered the veal chop parmigiana special, with a side of fettuccine alfredo. It was out of this world, and enormous. Even the side of Alfredo was the size of an entree. The veal was not pounded too thin, like so many other places. It was so melt in your mouth tender...clearly a very high quality chop. The fresh fettuccine was silky and luscious. The prices are high, but in line with other comparable restaurants. We are so fortunate to have this gem, right here in Coral Springs.

Yelp
The service was better than the food and the food was really good! We booked a large party on short notice and the owners and staff totally took care of all our accommodations and requests. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
Food is always consistent. Pasta is perfectly Al dente. Great sauce. The ingredients are always fresh. Dine local!

Yelp
OMG amazing food, amazing service, beautiful ambience, live guitar music, homemade pasta, authentic Italian experience. You must try this restaurant it is just a gem! We will be back!!! Wonderful elevated Italian cuisine in a beautiful setting

Yelp
First of all , the draft beer tap was broken. Ridiculous. Then I wanted snapper. They were out of it. Ridiculous. They had it on special and they're out of it. Manager said it was because it came in frozen. Lie. The soup had no taste and the chicken francais was awful. Did not enjoy this expensive meal. They put on a fancy fascade but the food stinks. I was embarrassed to bring my family here. ...and to boot, the manager tells me next time I should call ahead to let him know I want the snapper. Stay away from these BS artists

N P.

Yelp
Made reservations ahead and seated for 15 minutes. Not even greeted or acknowledged, so out group left. A promising menu but will not return.

Christina D.

Yelp
The service was literally the WORST experience I have ever had at any restaurant. The worst. We went a year ago and had a similar experience. Decided to give it another chance. Was 1000% times worse than the last time. Will never ever go back. Do not go.

Yelp
I grew up in Coral Springs so maybe I don't give it enough credit, but I would expect to have to leave town for a meal this good. From soup to nuts, or in my case, from eggplant rollatini to carrot cake, I didn't have a single bad bite. I also got to try the crab cakes (meaty and flavorful), the branzino (perfectly tender), the risotto (creamy and satisfying), the tiramisu (a well-made standard) along with my own main, the veal francese which I ordered with spaghetti instead of the potatoes it normally comes with. I loved this meal. Everything was made with such a light, thoughtful touch that allowed you to really enjoy the flavors of each dish (unlike the salt and breading-forward Italian fare you might get from a chain). Service was friendly, knowledgable, and attentive. Even the chairs were remarkably ergonomic. I would happily return here to try their brunch or for another special occasion dinner and hope they have a long and happy life in a location on The Walk that's seen only short-term tenants for the last number of years.

Yelp
Delicious flavorful food made from scratch. Even the pasta. Excellent server! Loved getting the lowdown by the hostess on the way to the table. Very modern and calming environment.

Yelp
Good service, ok food. We enjoyed the drinks more than the food. Skip the chicken picatta, the lemon flavor was there but overall flavorless and boring.

Yelp
Incontro Happy Hour. I so want to like this place. They recently hired a former Tavolino bartender, Jill, and have been promoting it on social media. She's super nice and knows what she's doing. But the food is nowhere up to Tavolino standards. Mussels were stinky, in an anemic broth, that was supposed to be a spicy nduja. It was neither spicy nor had any recognizable nduja in it. Calamari was rings only, 3 small shrimp in it, was ok. The sausage and broccoli rabe had good quality albeit lean sausage, the rabe was not blanched and salted correctly to remove bitterness, it was VERY bitter and I happen to be a big fan of that vegetable and found it too bitter. My negroni was prepared by a different bartender, was just ok. Rachel's bellini was also made by the same bartender, Jill had to remake it as he left out the cherry and garnish. Check was not rung up correctly by the first bartender on the POS, had to be redone by Jill with happy hour prices. Tavolino has nothing to worry about. Jill is great, the restaurant is not.

Rayny R.

Yelp
Hate to do this but fairness goes both ways. After a 10 hr work day and a week with 3 doctor appointments and stressful events it was a date night Friday and we decided to dine at Incontro. It was a place we wanted to visit for a while, we are foodies, recurrent visitors of many places in the area and enjoy trying and supporting new restaurants. The place was not busy for a Friday night, "great for us" or "warning sign". Seated outside promptly, plates were exposed and not changed once seated which was weird but not a huge problem. I asked for new plates and hot plates that were also exposed for the next table outside. The staff was kind, friendly and professional. They knew the menu and was helpful but maybe a bit on the inexperienced side. The food: we ordered Bruschettas and Arancini balls, the Bruschettas were not good, the tomatoes tasted like were seating in a metal container and not cut fresh making the taste overwhelming and not pleasant, I recommend that they cut the tomatoes fresh for this dish. The Arancini balls are huge and that is not necessarily good, you don't have a sports bar. They lacked refinement, all you could taste was rice no cheese or cream or nothing just rice. Make them smaller. The sauce that covered it was very good. The main dishes were the main disaster, we ordered filet mignon and branzino. The Filet Mignon was 8oz and over 50 dollars but it was tasteless, zero seasoning. Just tasted like someone took the meat and put it on the grill until done....no joke. The branzino is usually full of flavor every place you get it because the skin absorbs seasoning well, it's crispy, the recipes usually stay around a combination of lemon, citric, aromatic and simple. But never fail to be flavorful and for some reason this one did, it was plated nicely, look beautiful with crushed pistachios on top that added color and texture but not much more, a sauce that was supposed to be based on lemon was on top but was not zesty enough, not citric enough, too creamy for the fish and just a bit bland. Some pieces of the fish were also under cooked. It's my favorite fish and never fails....it did here. It came with zucchini strings "like pasta" but that was also extremely bland (but better than the fish and that is crazy to say). Overall it was massive dissapointment. I am all about local business and second chances and would never post a damaging review like this except when I have the decency and honesty of expressing my concerns to the staff directly and receive no apology, no manager or leader approaches to discuss it and I get the bill from the staff like nothing happened. To be honest, we got a small envelope from the waitress with a gift card "for your next time" but we will have no next tine because the concern was not recognize and we can only assume the experience will be the same.

Yelp
My dad hosted my birthday dinner here last night, and the staff and owner, Pedro, could not have been more accommodating. Incontro has an open and welcoming bar and a truly lovely atmbiance. We had a semi private room to ourselves. Everything from the drinks to the appetizers to the delicious food to the desserts was served with elegance and exceptional service. Dinner across the board was outstanding, and the homemade pasta was some of the best I've ever tasted. If you're looking for a top-notch Italian restaurant with an excellent vibe and service, go to Incontro. I want to personally thank Pedro. He truly cares about all who dine at his restaurant and his fantastic staff.

Yelp
I had high hopes for this restaurant. It was my husbands birthday and we had family in town. When we arrived at the restaurant at 6pm, which was barely full, the hostess said we could sit at our table while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. Our waiter was very kind and when I asked about happy hour he mentioned that it was only at the bar but since our party wasn't all there yet he didn't mind if I wanted to go grab a drink at the bar until everyone arrived. When I got to the bar and ordered the bartender was extremely rude and told me that she really wasn't supposed to serve me unless I was eating at the bar. She begrudgingly went to get my drink while then complaining, loud enough for me to hear that whoever told me it was okay was wrong. The other bartender than made a comment about how I should at least sit down and eat at the bar. When she came with my drink I apologized and she just continued to berate me on how that's not how it's supposed to be. I nevertheless left her a big tip because she had made me feel so bad. When I was leaving the bar with my drink she had gone to the front hostess and was complaining to her trying to find out which sever said I could do this. I then stopped her again to apologize and said I didn't mind sitting at the bar a little longer. I explained we had a party coming and only half of us were there. She continued to aggressively ask me to identify which server had told me to come down to the bar which I refused to do. Talk about a way to start the night. When I returned to the table with my family and explained what happened to the waiter, I apologized profusely to him. The shame I felt was at an all time high on a night that should have been a joyous occasion. It seemed the night continued to get progressively worse. The meal took over an hour to come out. While our waiter was kind he wasn't as attentive. We needed refills of water, new silverware (since they took the old ones away with all the appetizers ), and when our other half of the party arrived it took quite awhile for the waiter to return to take their drink orders. Food came out hot but my salmon was very fishy and dessert was nothing special. We wont be returning anytime soon.

Yelp
Had live music on a Friday night, super upbeat guitar player remixing all the greatest hits. Really enjoyed sitting at the bar for date night. Chicken parm delicious, the bread was warm and toasted perfectly. Calamari is always a winner.
