I'm always on the lookout for a great local coffee shop. This is located in a quasi industrial area. Great variety and unique menu along with being packed with locals assured me I picked the best place. I got the peachy keen latte and strawberry bruschetta. And yes, the latte tastes like peach cobbler.

I recently visited Indah Coffee in Columbia, and it was nothing short of a beautiful experience. From the moment I stepped into the modern, spacious, and quiet atmosphere, I felt an immediate sense of calm and comfort. The minimalist yet inviting decor made it the perfect spot to relax, focus, or simply enjoy a good cup of coffee. The offerings were well-curated, and the prices were surprisingly fair for the high-quality experience provided. Whether you’re a coffee aficionado or just someone who appreciates a good drink, their menu had something for everyone without being overwhelming. What truly stood out were the baristas. They greeted me with genuine smiles and warmth, radiating a sense of happiness that felt rare and refreshing. It was clear they took pride in what they did, which only added to the charm of the place. If there’s one coffee shop that’s truly doing it right in Columbia, it’s Indah Coffee. Everything about it — from the ambiance to the service to the coffee itself — made for an exceptional visit. I’ll definitely be back.

I've been here a couple times and it's a great place to meet with friends. The food is great, healthy and light! Also not very expensive. Coffee is also great and they will accomodate you based on what type of coffee you want. Atmosphere is cozy, able to talk with others so not very loud. Parking is fine but may be a bit limited if there are too many people around.

Google
I'm gonna be honest, we haven't been yet, but I'm giving them 5 stars because they didn't force people to wear masks like a bunch of psychopaths. Seems like a cool laid back place that we will be visiting within the next 24 hours. Thank you Indah for being real. We'll see you soon! 💪🏼

Google
Great vibe, awesome coffee and tea, speedy service, don't bother with pastries. Our drinks were fantastic. Make sure to get the London Fog tea. It's creamy and delicious! It was busy when we were there and the friendly staff handled the rush well. Great, comfortable vibe and an eclectic mix of guests. We also had pastries. Of note, the chocolate muffin was dry and uneventful. Quite disappointing.

Outstanding quality from beans to baristas. Their iced matcha with blackberry cinnamon is my new favorite.

Lots of different spaces to work, catch up with friends or read. Coffee is the most decent I've found in Columbia but still not spot on. Having said this, I'm from the land of latte and flat white. Also, there's no table service. You have to order and wait for your name to be called.

This is a nice little coffee shop pretty close to downtown Columbia, South Carolina. We were driving through the city, stopped in, and were pleasantly surprised with the cute decor inside! Despite the outside (and surrounding area) honestly not looking the best, it’s like you’ve stepped into a hidden gem when you walk inside Indah! We ordered an iced Thai coffee and an iced tea. The iced tea was excellent - really unique flavor and definitely something we’d get again. Easy 5/5! It’s a refreshing change when so many other places just make the same old boring black sweet tea! However…unfortunately, the iced Thai coffee wasn’t that great. It was honestly like a 2/5. Having visited Thailand several times before, Thai coffee is supposed to have a lot of sweetened condensed milk (making it a very sweet drink, which was what I was craving); though, there was very little sweetened condensed milk in it and it wasn’t sweet at all. It just tasted like an iced latte with oat milk and almost no sweetness at all. I just wish the barista told me they either make it differently than a traditional Thai iced coffee, or asked me what how sweet I’d like it - that would’ve helped a lot! She was very nice so I would recommend they do that in the future to (hopefully) gear customers in the right direction. 🙂 I was deciding between that drink and a very unique blueberry/cinnamon iced coffee, which I definitely would’ve preferred had I known the Thai coffee wasn’t going to be like normal. I love unique coffee drinks and they definitely have some great options here at Indah Coffee. The atmosphere is great and it seems like a really good place to meet up with friends, hang out, study, or get some work done while enjoying a drink and snacks. I would be willing to try Indah once again when I’m driving back through Columbia in the future. I look forward to seeing what they have next as a seasonal drink!

Yelp
Stopped in this morning 6-30-25 after picking up my wife from a 24 hour shift . As we walked in we were kindly greeted by the 2 lovely baristas . They were so friendly and helpful in helping us decide drinks . We ended up getting 3 different kind of drinks . The first drink was a special cold drink that had tahini cold foam , how it work just don't know but man was it good . All the flavors from the date to the tahini were present , smooth yet subtle . Second drink was a hot coconut latte with decaf . Yes you heard it right decaf , arguably the best coconut latte I ever had out of the 34 states I have been to . Third drink was my go to drink a chai . This chai is on the sweet side but has some amazing flavor , you can taste all the spices . I will be back in Columbia in 2 days and already have the next drinks picked out , dirty chai and the tahini cold foam drink but hot . If my future experience is anything like it was today then every time I go to the area or even the zoo I will go out of my way to go here . Great coffee and even better company/friendliness with the baristas

Yelp
Indah is the best coffee shop in the Midlands. Their burritos are awesome, and their cortados are delicious! Great friendly service, and a nice atmosphere for study or meetings

Yelp
This is my favorite place to go and study as a student. The vibes are always great and the service is always reliable! I love the turkey and burrata sandwich also, think about it all the time.

Yelp
I absolutely love the vibe. Even though it is busy there, there is plenty of seating available. I love how they have outlets by the tables on the booths for the laptops. It was a great space to get some work done and enjoy a beverage. Customer service was pretty good. Parking is available around the building. My beverage choice was jade cloud tea with vanilla and honey per recommendation from the team that was taking my order. It was perfect. It had a hint of citrus with a mellow sweetness from the vanilla and honey. I was glad I forced myself to try something different and discover something new that I actually really liked. I cannot speak enough about how much I loved the atmosphere. I got so much work done. They stay open until 6 pm or 7 pm, which was a huge plus.

Yelp
This coffee shop is a gem--perfect for getting work done or enjoying a quiet, casual hangout. The ambience is calm and inviting, with a peaceful environment that's great for focusing or relaxing. I tried the matcha with lavender syrup, and it was surprisingly delicious--the floral note added a unique twist without overpowering the drink. The plain avocado toast was also really good: fresh, simple, and satisfying. Service was fast and efficient, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Definitely a spot worth revisiting.

Yelp
Woman owned? Hand crafted? House-made syrups? Amazing pastries? Chill but vibrant atmosphere? Honestly this place has it all. You can't go wrong with any selection here that you might make. My only problem is that we stopped here on a road trip and can't go back every day.
google avatar

Karla M.

Yelp
The food and coffee are good but I think it's a bit overpriced. Whereas I can get a 16oz latte anywhere else in the area for $5-6, Indah charged me $8. The service was friendly though and it's a cute shop to hang out in. However, since Curiosity coffee bar is right around the corner, I would choose there over Indah in the future. Food is better at curiosity as well.

Yelp
We visited Indah Coffee on a Thursday morning and found it fairly busy, with many patrons working/studying. The interior had plenty of seating, kind of a rustic vibe, and lots of nice plants. For drinks, I ordered a Thai Iced Coffee. Honestly, it wasn't my favorite and didn't taste like other Thai Iced Coffees I'd tried before. However, my Caprese Avocado Toast was awesome! The tomato, mozzarella, and avocado went together so well, and I loved the balsamic glaze. It was also pretty filling. My boyfriend got a drip coffee and Breakfast Sandwich, and said both were good. Would return to try their fall drinks, which hadn't come out yet!

Valerie E.

Yelp
First time trying this place. The coffee was good and at a great price. I think their AC was broken or something because it was so hot in there and I was sweating and uncomfortable. They had a fan going in the back but not near where people were sitting. I didn't stay long because of it. I also had planned to do some work there but with the large windows at the front and the bright sun and glares coming in, I was getting a headache. With the way the seating area and order area is all combined into one, this coffee shop is better for a casual hangout instead of a place to get work done and focus.
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
This place confused me as my advance research suggested a food menu in addition to the beverages, but I only saw drinks on offer when I arrived. Needing just a quick stop, however, I sought a hot chocolate with seasonal flavors. It was a little drink with a little price but it hit the spot well enough. The atmospheric garage-like space would be worth checking in to and perhaps checking out some food as well.

Yelp
I've liked Indah for several years. They have interesting seasonal drinks, a pretty wide variety of non-coffee/tea items, and a nice atmosphere. I think (like many places) their baristas could be a little friendlier but it's a great shop regardless! I was sad to learn they no longer serve the hot honey bagel because it seems like such a simple dish with just a few ingredients but they still have one of the most unique menus of local coffee shops! Great place to meet a friend or work/study for a while.

Yelp
This review is LONG overdue. Indah is the SPOT! the atmosphere is awesome and has the usual coffee house vibes. i love the aesthetic especially the exposed beams on the ceiling. the staff is ALWAYS AMAZING! they provide the best service whether it's their knowledge of the menu or their willingness to create specialty drinks, they're always ready to serve with a smile. i haven't had everything on their menu but their lattes, chais and matcha are second to none. Indah is the spot for it all....whether it's a business meeting, a place to study or get some work done, or a date spot, this place NEVER disappoints.

Indrani H.

Yelp
Had such a good experience here. My mocha was rich and chocolatey but not overly sweet which I appreciated. The coffee flavor still came through strong and the whipped cream on top was a nice touch. I got a cinnamon roll too and it was soft and gooey, really hit the spot. The staff were patient even though I took forever to decide. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with comfy chairs and local art on the walls. This might be my new weekend hangout spot.

Yelp
Came here after a recommendation to try the Honey Bear Latte and the Main Street. Both of these drinks were made with their signature Vanilla Honey homemade syrup (which was delicious!) they should sell it as an item all on its own because I would buy it to have for my coffee at home. My friend loved the Honey Bear Latte and I loved the Main Street flavors, the only bad part is I like a little more coffee with my milk. It came with two shots of expresso and I asked for less milk to be put in but don't think I got that as it was a really light brown color. It would have been perfect with just less milk. However, I understand that many people now love the milky type coffee. They also have a water station and plenty of non-alcoholic and alcoholic can options. The ambiance is nice, they were a bunch of people just sitting down studying, reading and enough space to do so. It was a nice tone and calmness in the coffee shop. I would definitely recommend to others! Go try it out for yourself!

Yelp
Indah Coffee is definitely a must go to for coffee for anyone in the area of Columbia, Sc. This location is perfect for anyone looking for a coffee shop with plenty of room to sit down and enjoy your coffee or study, making it the perfect spot for students! My go to order here is typically the pistachio flat white, and one of their amazing sandwiches.
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome coffee. Some of the best I have ever tasted. Will be back. Spend $53 today. 2 cups of coffee, 2 blueberry muffins, 2 bags of Columbia coffee. Well worth it.

Catherine F.

Yelp
So great coffee at this place. Nice people but the space is bare and clinical. I guess it's fine if you're looking for a place to work but I like my coffee shops with a bit more personality.
google avatar

Ashley G.

Yelp
Had two different kinds of toasts: the egg and bacon and the avocado with tomatoes. Both were delicious although less of a meal and more of a snack. Coffee is awesome, truly very very good. The merch is too pricey for my tastes, and the decor is lackluster, but if I lived here I'd be back because the coffee is that good. Baristas must be trained well.

William C.

Yelp
Great coffee and service - starting at 6:30am on weekdays! Good atmosphere too. A Columbia mainstay.

esta G.

Yelp
Great environment to do work or hangout with friends and play card games. I got the bagel sandwich and it was very yummy. A little greasy but it was really good. I got their seasonal drink raspberry macha and it was delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
Service is generally really good and very helpful and knowledgeable workers. Slim food options- would love to see a few more bakery items. Coffee is creative and flavorful- so lovely!!

Caroline W.

Yelp
Great vibe! Love that it's tucked into a neighborhood. Not a lot of parking and the seats aren't comfortable.
google avatar

Yelp
Sweet place that was in walking distance of the airbnb we were staying at. I got an lavender latte and it was so good, lighly sweet. Good service. A couple of hours later, when my granddaughter wanted one, we stopped by again. The same woman waited on us, and made her drink, but it wasn't as sweet. Bummer. I would come back when I am in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
Great Coffee shop to chill ..... Good cookies too !!! Free parking. Outdoor seating out back and in front of store.
google avatar

Haley P.

Yelp
So good! Anytime we are in Columbia we stop at Indah. Their seasonal lattes are always fun. Last year they had a s'mores latte that was to die for I hope they bring it back!
google avatar

Paul J.

Yelp
A really chill coffee place. Enjoyed spending time, reading a book and sipping some great coffee. I had a mint cream cold brew and my wife had a iced chai tea latte. I also had a Cortado. All fantastic. Staff was great. T-shirts are really cool.
google avatar

Yelp
First time here. There were so many options I wasn't sure what to try but the guy suggested the Cubano. I got it made with oatmilk. It was a good balance of bold espresso and creaminess from the oatmilk. Although I don't like my coffee too sweet, I wish I'd added some syrup to make it a tad bit sweeter..maybe extra brown sugar. The atmosphere was very cozy. The staff was friendly. This would be a good spot to meet up to a catch up with a friend or to get some work done.

Yelp
Took a spur of the moment trip to South Carolina and stumbled upon this gem. I'm from South Florida. Out of all the coffee spots I've been to (my husband and I go to a lot) this experience was a kind surprise. Nick was incredibly sweet. I was curious about the roasts sold at Indah and he discussed almost every blend to me and the meaning behind the origins. Like WOW. I could tell he knew his coffee and was super passionate about his craft. He went above and beyond. The staff was super sweet. I came home with the Rwanda bean coffee and my husband and I are obsessed. We made espresso with it and it's delicious. The seasonal coffee and my bagel were also a delight. Ask the baristas about their suggestions! They know what they're talking about! Thank you, Indah coffee for being part of my South Carolina experience
google avatar

Yelp
Best pour over I can remember I knew the next morning that I wouldn't be near this place and I had enough left over in my cup - I was contemplating whether to microwave it the next morning ! That's how good it was
google avatar

Della L.

Yelp
Definitely one of the best coffee shops in Columbia! Amazing atmosphere and GREAT SERVICE! The Thai coffee is my absolute favorite!
google avatar

Jacob M.

Yelp
A great way to start your day, with a range of seasonal lattes to a variety of teas including white, black, green, and oolong! If you're a coffee purist and enjoy your unflavored lattes, cortados, and pour over, this is the place. If you're on the sweeter side and enjoy your Starbucks, enjoy their mixed concoctions in latte form - quite the spread for the holidays!

John O.

Yelp
Indah is my go to coffee shop in Columbia! It's always great! Great coffee. Great food. Great atmosphere. And the employees are all super attentive.
google avatar

Kabrina B.

Yelp
A hidden jewel in Columbia. The Cinnamon Rolls alone make it worth the visit. I loved everything about this coffee spot The atmosphere was free and open. You didn't feel pressured at all. It's a really trendy space and many people are there working, networking and planning. You feel as if you are in an environment of creativity. The service is outstanding. I feel people should try it out. The parking SUCKS but once you find a spot the rest is a piece of cake. I highly recommend a visit, you won't regret it.
google avatar

Candace B.

Yelp
My favorite local coffee shop! The coffee there is so smooth and tasty, much better than Starbucks. The food is pretty good too.
google avatar

Nicole H.

Yelp
Delightful! Someone recommended this place when I was visiting, and I went twice in three days. The lavendar lattee is an utter delight. The atmosphere is chill and relaxing. The snacks are tasty, mostly (I was less impressed with the cinnamon roll). But honestly, that lavendar latte had me coming back, and its tempting to drive a thousand miles to return. Each time that drink lasted like ten minutes before I drank it all :) A great coffee shop!

Yelp
Timely Note: They are offering delivery and pickup currently. On my way out of a quick visit to Columbia back in February, I stopped by here in search of caffeine for the drive (to Charleston). Little did I know I had stumbled upon so much more than a cup of coffee. In this small town, you find a true gem tucked away. I pulled up and questioned, "is this going to be good?" But then I walked through the front door. If you ever want a true gauge of the quality of a coffee shop, it is not in decor or music playing or even if the barista's look "hipster enough". It is about aroma and equipment. If you are smelling anything resembling a burnt scent and/or overwhelming sweet smells (i.e. brown sugar, chocolate) you need to walk away. Also, if there are not at least three visible options for how to order your coffee (i.e. pour over, aeropress, french press, drip), again walk away. This place though, it checked off all the boxes. The aroma was a mix of freshly brewed coffee and a recently pulled espresso shot. I went with my standard for first visits, an Americano, and a honeysuckle latte for my wife. Both of these were 100% on point. The Americano had a smooth yet bold flavor. The latte was sweet, but floral (akin to a gin and latte mix). I wanted to order more, but I was traveling through. The seating appears to be around 30-40 and the demographic that day was young (for me, that means 20-30 years old). It had a relaxing vibe and will definitely be in my must-visit list anytime I am in the area.

Yelp
Good place. Nice atmosphere but the customer service was bad like on a Scale of 1-10 I say a 2 and that's not even the problem I have with the place. I had the Thai coffee and they were using soy milk when they were supposed to use sweetened condensed coconut milk.
google avatar

Yelp
I couldn't be a visitor without stopping by an indie coffeeshop. "Indah Coffee" seemed to be a new addition to the strip after the N. Main St. renovation project. I used to live in Columbia, on and off, for seven (7) years. Everytime I came back for visiting my in-laws, relative, and friends, I found some local businesses thriving in the neighborhoods. "Indah Coffee' certainly wasn't disappointing! The Americano and Cubano were very delightful. They were also able to accomodate hubby's special drink request, London fog, and made it excellently! We came in twice and had our coffee to go both days. If we were to sit down and enjoy our coffee with leisure, we would like the in-house atmosphere as well. Parking was super easy. They had their own lot yet free street parking was plenty. I'm from Chicago, and finding a parking spot can be a major hassle. Anyway, this is a completely different town that I am talking about! "Indah Coffee"- we will make it back here when we get a chance.

Yelp
First visit here and meeting a friend for business. Location is not busy and parking is minimal and may have to walk a bit. But it's worth it. Friendly service, great coffee and clean open dining area. Definitely a good spot to meet up or for a solo spell on the laptop.
google avatar

Tawanna M.

Yelp
A friend suggested this place. I arrived and was greeted by a bubbly barista. I choose the chai latte. It's soooooo good! I recommend trying it. I almost went back for a second latte and would have if my day wasn't so busy
google avatar

Christine T.

Yelp
Indah Coffee is my favorite coffee shop of all time. I've visited every coffee shop in Columbia and can easily say that Indah makes the best iced vanilla oat latte! On top of that, the baristas are incredibly friendly, especially Marcus. He's my fave. He's super upbeat, positive and has the biggest smile! He's an excellent conversationalist and always brightens my mood. Besides amazing coffee and customer service, Indah is also the perfect study spot - lovely ambience, free Wi-fi, plenty of seating, great music, and food (and booze) options. Thanks for being consistently amazing, Indah! We're lucky to have you in town.

Carole R.

Yelp
It was my first time in there and I was a little confused. The pecan praline pie with roasted candied pecans was not pie. They do have pastries, but not in the afternoon when I went. I felt a little in the way and it wasn't very warm. Maybe next time I try it? The coffee was fine.
google avatar

Jeanne T.

Yelp
I really enjoyed visiting this coffee house while I was living in Columbia for a couple months. I love that they have seasonal coffees! I ordered the S'More's latte and I was completely delighted that the coffee was accompanied by an actual s'more! The barista was very kind and conversant. Clearly, it's a popular place... it was packed the day that I visited and whenever I was in the area, the parking lot was pretty full. There is plenty of street parking as well though. Customers seemed relaxed and happy even though it was pouring rain outside!
google avatar

Michelle V.

Yelp
Great brew, visited from out of town for the day, always trying out the local and this place did not disappoint. I'm a black coffee guru and the home brew which was a mix of Peru and Mexican was smooth yet bold. 5 stars!!
google avatar

Cici S.

Yelp
WARNING: EXTREMELY STRONG AND CAFFEINATED! Got a cold brew at the Soda City Farmers Market. It was tasty but incredibly strong - not for the faint of heart. I could feel the caffeine buzzing through my veins. Should probably not drink it on an empty stomach either!

Alejandra C.

Yelp
Came here after a 12h shift at the hospital. The guy behind the counter ignored us for a few minutes, didn't even say hello, and we were taken care of by a different employee once they came out. Had a BLT wrap with egg and some kind of sauce, with the predominant taste being the lettuce, the sauce tasted like nothing. Had a sparkling honey matcha lemonade, barely tasted the lemon and didn't taste the honey at all. Idk how this place gets such high reviews.
google avatar

Ken W.

Yelp
Love Indah! Great coffee, great environment. The last time I was there they were exceptionally friendly. I definitely swing by there whenever I'm in the area. Easy parking, too.
google avatar

Kyle L.

Yelp
Served me nitro cold brew with ice. Maybe this is what's considered nitro in SC but elsewhere its very consistently not served with ice and it's actually cascading. This was really just plain cold brew. Tasted fine, but it wasn't at all what I was expecting.

El B.

Yelp
Great pour over! Great quality of coffee if you're not into that sugary stuff. Nice ambiance with polite, helpful workers
