Really elegant ambience and the food was as very good. Rara mutton and panner Tikka on pineapple were excellent. Wine list is wonderful. However, the service was bad. We sat there with dirty plates on our table for 15min before someone noticed and cleared the table and brought us dessert menu's. The desserts were a miss, compared to the food. The biggest reason I give it 3 stars is that the men's toilet was stinking. You had to hold your nose as you went in there. I thought there was something wrong when I went. But my son went there more than an hour later and he came back holding his nose. No one even noticed, is this the norm? Not something I would expect from any restaurant, let alone a restaurant claiming to be a high end one.

India club authentic Indian food in the heart of Berlin. We were a group of 6 ladies spent 600 Euros and tried most of dishes. If you don't fancy spicy food then you should avoid this gorgeous place. Cocktails are delicious, service was friendly and dessert was tasty. Thank you.

I visited this Michelin Guide–recommended Indian restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately it fell short. Perhaps it’s because I’m used to the exceptional standard of Indian cuisine in London, but the food here simply did not compare. I don’t normally write negative reviews, but when you’re paying premium prices, it’s very frustrating to be served dishes that feel mediocre at best. Flavors lacked depth, and nothing really stood out as memorable. For the cost, the experience was deeply underwhelming. Sadly, I cannot recommend this place — I left disappointed, and I’d advise others to save their money for somewhere that delivers on both quality and value.

Easy table reservation online. Warm welcome when we arrived a bit to early. Mix of skilled and junior waiters made the experience somewhat flat at that point. More important on the other hand, the food is great and very tasteful (not to spicy) We enjoyed the evening and will return

Authentic Indian Fine Dining in the Heart of Berlin India Club Berlin offers one of the most refined and authentic Indian dining experiences I’ve had in Europe. From the elegant ambiance and warm hospitality to the beautifully presented dishes, everything is clearly curated with care and attention to detail. The menu focuses on North Indian cuisine, with rich, aromatic curries, perfectly grilled meats, and flavorful vegetarian options. I highly recommend the Butter Chicken and Dal Makhani—both were exceptional. The naan was soft and fresh, and the spice levels were perfectly balanced. Service was professional and friendly, with staff happy to explain dishes and make recommendations. The setting is upscale but not pretentious, making it a great choice for both special occasions and an elevated dinner out. Prices are on the higher side, but well worth it for the quality and experience.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted so warmly, instantly set the tone for the whole evening. The service was genuinely lovely: attentive without being overbearing, and the staff made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, and overall it was just a really nice experience. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a little wonder right in the historical center of Berlin, located in the premises of the famous Adlon hotel. felt in love with this place independently from the Michelin labeling. Liked the atmosphere and generosity of the staff. We ordered loads of food and drinks. The starters and main course were amazing and their mocktails were also great. The food preparation time was a bit more as compared to other restaurants but probably they want to keep high standards and not rush out food in haste. The service is excellent and the prices are very reasonable compared to the quality of the service and food. Highly recommend this place if you like the good Indian food! We all enjoyed the vibe and atmosphere. All in all a successful evening and a recommendation.

Amazing food with the right amount of flavours in every bite. We were on a dinner date and really had the best Indian food experience in India Club. All the servers were really friendly and the Manager also gave us a complimentary salad. A must try restaurant in Berlin!!

Hands down one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever ever eaten at. I usually procrastinate writing these reviews but this got my attention and hopefully gatheres some attention from this review. Where do I start....I look at the menu my attention for appetizer was drawn to pepper chicken fry and my main course was buttered chicken.....family recipe....I was like let's see how good the family recipe is. Oh my gosh....it's amazingly flavorful, perfectly spiced, and that raw chili on top enhanced the whole dish. Warning....if you aren't up for spicy food....let them know beforehand. What can I say.....these dishes especially the pepper chicken took me back to my college days of me visiting street side dhabas. I found the flavors of a streetwise dhaba from India, that seems to have been lost with expansion of cities. I even tried a few years ago in Punjab and couldn't get the feeling or enjoying the food for a long time. If you love indian food and want a real essence of it, you need to make a reservation here!

We are visiting Berlin & went to this restaurant. The food is divine. We shared our appetizers & entrees between the four of us. Everything we tried was incredible. The service was impeccable. Every recommendation was great & although our waiters did not hover, when we needed service, they seemed to sense this & were available in seconds. The restaurant has a wonderful & yet casual ambiance. We so enjoyed our meal, our evening, our experience! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Best meal I had in Berlin and best Butter Chicken I've ever had. I went with six colleagues and we all tried a variety of dishes and everyone was pleased!

This is a huge place not too far from the Brandenburg Gate. Classy and quite big, we were seated without a reservation. Extremely courteous hostess and wait staff took our order. Very artfully crafted papadums (as a cone) served with delightful garnishes and/or chutneys. Loved the mango chutney (had to get another serving). So the food. Yea, the yellow lentils and the breads were over the top. The malai kofta - not so much. The real issue was kofta - not jived with the gravy and just didn't click with the palatte. My dinning colleague concurred so I would it's not purely personal. All in all, nice place with enough grandeur and decor to make it a great venue for important celebrations. You will like (your wallet may not).

Food was really good! I was with 2 Muscovites who know the Indian cuisine and they loved it. Atmosphere is lovely, waiters are very manly and friendly. I definitely recommend the place.

This place was amazing!! We went with a group of 9. Ordered an entire each with rice and naan to share. Ended up passing all the entries around so everyone could try everything and there wasn't one bad dish on the table! My favorites were the lamb shank curry, the buttered chicken, and the Keema naan. Raita and black daal were table favorites as well

1 star - service 4 stars - food The menu is on point, unique and has lots to offer. I was craving simple Indian food and my girlfriend loves Butter Chicken and this place had dal makhni and the photo looked legit. We decided to try. 1. Cilantro Chutney and papad to start with. Perfect, Punjabi style with no yogurt (as it should), cilantro, and garlic. Well done. 2. Butter chicken, great! The right amount of creamy. Cooked with chicken thighs (not breast!), and cream on top. The sauce a bit intense on the tomato flavor, my girl friend has a good palate for butter chicken because that's what she likes. Also, the chicken could've been done tandoori style before cooking in the sauce (as it should be). :) 3. Dal Makhni - 1 star for quantity. It was what we call in Hindi - "ek katori daal, bas!?" Delicious taste! This can be a best seller. I mostly ate my food with daal and roti (simple!) They know their game. But the service was so disappointing. 1. The guy who was taking our order asks me - "Thats it!?" As if his commission was tied to the quantity of food I order! That was pretty strange for a place that wants to present themselves as fine dining. 2. I was in the middle of enjoying my papad and green chutney. But another dude comes over and goes - "I need to remove the plates because the main course will be out!" And he takes my plate away without asking anything about whether I was done or needed more time. Well, so long green chutney! 3. I'm being picky now. I know. However, for a place charging €€€ should try to do the service right. The tea came out 20 mins before the dessert. Well, what's the point? I could have gotten take out. Regardless of the service, we both loved the food! My girlfriend is not happy right now because I took 20mins from our time together for writing this looooong review. Hope it's worth it.

Unexpectedly amazing. After hearing tour guides disappointments with the Indian food scene in Berlin I wasn't expecting my best meal in Berlin from India Club. It was a hotel concierge recommendation that, in the end, raised the bar. I've been to several cities in India, have multiple Indian friends that are wonderful cooks, but this was hands down the best Indian meal I've had thus far and ranks in the top 5 of all meals. Every bite, starting with the chutneys to the salad and finishing with the chicken masala was delightful and spiced perfectly and fresh as if you picked the herbs yourself minutes before. I intended to get the menu before I left to properly label each course but was in a rush to make it to the BRLO brewery to have the German IPA the friendly waitress recommended. She also recommended my courses based off what my Indian preferences where. If all restaurants had such friendly staff and wonderful food, life would be grand.

Went there 2 times in a row this week. Very delicious food with excellent service. Enjoyed every minute there. Ordered mix platter from tikka and 2 types of chicken dishes along with flaky naan, butter naan and regular naan. Mango lassi is the best I've witnessed so far with a touch of cardamom! Everything is great about this place, a bit pricey, but totally worth it!

I've heard this is the best Indian food in Berlin, and it was certainly good, but nothing special, and extremely expensive. Service was decent, and the room was beautiful, but the best of the meal was the poppadum and chutneys, and a tiny amuse bouche, and the rest of the food was somewhere between mediocre and decent, but absolutely not worth the price. Meat eaters reported that the starters were far better than the mains, and I found the same in the vegetarian options-- starters were OK, but my cheese-based main was extremely bland, and I didn't bother finishing despite knowing how much it cost. If you're in Berlin and really really keen for a curry, go and share a mix of starters and small plates. Otherwise it might genuinely be cheaper to get a bargain-basement flight to London and a meal on Drummond St.

10 years of looking for good curry in Berlin. Found it. Tawa Chicken Masala was gorgeous. Worth every penny. Fine, fine food.

That's a place which combines Fine dining with authentic taste. It really takes Indian cuisine in Berlin to a different level. Every dish we ordered tasted great and the service was flawless.

One of the best Indian restaurant in Berlin.More of a fine dine place, a bit on the expensive side. Service and ambience are really good, but for the price it's kind of expected. Reserve a place before visiting as the place is not huge.

Very average food. Poppadoms had zero flavor and were probably the worst we ever had in any Indian restaurant. Naan bread was crispy and not like Naan anywhere else in the world- and that's not a good thing! Starters and mains were for the most part average and VERY greasy. Watered down cocktails. Food came out randomly, leaving my husband with a finished meal while I was still waiting for mine. The main problem- no air conditioning on a 87F day! Unacceptable. Service was also spotty and chaotic. Shocked this place was recommended.

Excellent Indian food, highly recommendable albeit pricy. From a quality perspective this place is unique in Berlin, so if you want to treat yourself to really great Indian food, come here. The service is very accommodating and friendly and the athmosphere is nice. The customers are usually a bit on the dressy side which I find refreshing in Berlin. If paying between 20-40€ for a main course does not shock you, treat yourself here to a nice evening with someone special.

My favorite meal not only in Berlin but probably ever. Every dish cooked to perfection. Highway Chicken moist, tender and flavorful. Butter chicken similarly perfect. So hard to get that balance. Excellent service, interaction with the waiter and atmosphere. Luxurious but not pretentious. Prices surprisingly fair for this standard. Coming back on our next free night.
