The Best London Restaurants of 2021 | Eater London

"A nostalgic Strand haunt where contributors stop for a plate of chilli bhajis and a small bottle of Kingfisher, valued as a reassuring, slightly old-school spot to check that the place still exists." - Adam Coghlan

Nice place i visited today. ambiance was super and staff was polite and well mannered. they serve all orders with very proper way. food quality was awesome and rates were at par. The only issue is related to the Google map route. we got entry denied 3 times as we followed the google map, it shows incorrect paths as gates were closed internally. The best route is to take turn from the metro station.

You like exclusive locations and you love Indian cuisine… India Club Dubai is the place to be. Incredible hospitality and simply wonderful Indian food. You might need an Invitation or „sponsor“ to get you in. But anyway there is an ID check at the reception in the entrance hall. We did really enjoy our precious time there.

Good place for functions cultural events and also a great place of get-together. We have an event of 100+ people and the space of ample for them to accommodate. Clean washrooms. Good sports club and ample parking space.

The venue is ideal but the fact that at the weekends there is totally insufficient parking spaces and ZERO alternatives to park nearby. Maybe they can consider collaborating and using the ample parking spaces available in the Indian high school or collaborate with the Al Nasr Sports Complex adjacent to this venue! We attended an event for Navratri and only found parking almost 2 kms away and has to easily back and forth! Once we reached, the front reception area was staffed by a few people, it was hardly welcoming, just curt and lacked any hospitality skills. India club has grown well over the years but surely there's always room for improvements.

I am absolutely appalled by the experience I had at the India Club Garba event this evening. I had been looking forward to this celebration for weeks, only to be turned away at the entrance because my ticket was deemed “invalid.” The reason? I had purchased the ticket from my friend, and apparently, the event staff decided to tie ticket validity to a handwritten name instead of a proper QR code or standard digital system. In 2025, when even street food stalls use QR scanners, this event was relying on scribbled names on paper — how unprofessional is that? To make matters worse, the ticket was a whopping 100 dirhams, which I now realize went completely to waste. I paid a premium price expecting a well-organized event, not to be humiliated and turned away at the gate. What made it worse was the sheer rudeness and lack of empathy from the staff and management. Rather than helping or explaining the issue politely, they dismissed me outright, as if it was my fault for expecting a basic level of organization. I understand the importance of security and authenticity of tickets, but there’s absolutely no justification for treating attendees so poorly. There were no clear instructions beforehand that tickets would be name-locked, nor any effort to resolve the confusion at the gate. The entire experience was frustrating, embarrassing, and deeply disappointing. I came to celebrate Garba with friends and instead left feeling humiliated at the door. This event desperately needs to rethink its ticketing system, staff training, and basic customer respect. Festivals are about community and joy, not about being turned away because of outdated and arbitrary rules. For an event that charges such a high price, attendees deserve far better. I truly hope the organizers reflect on this and improve — no one should be treated this way at a cultural celebration.

Visited this place for 2 functions of our dearest friend: 1. Engagement & Shagun 2. The Wedding It’s a nice place to have small functions and also the Ace bar and lounge is great for drinks. Their pricing is nominal. The place is very neat and well maintained.
