Google
A friendly neighborhood Indian store that carries a wide range of essentials, from spices and snacks to fresh vegetables and frozen foods. While it’s not as large as some Indian grocery stores, it serves as a convenient and affordable alternative. The shop is easily accessible, located in a quieter area with less traffic. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and courteous. Parking is limited, but overall, it’s a great spot for everyday Indian staples

Jun 2025 Update: Added latest food truck menu. May 2025 Update: Their food truck is back and so are new items on the menu! Tried the Bhelpuri, Stuffed Mirchi Bhaji, Samosa Chaat and Jaggery Jalebi. The Jalebi was served fresh off the heat, it was delectable, warm and totally hit the spot, balancing the heat from the Mirchi Bhaji. The Mirchi Bhajis were battered green chillies served with onions and chat masala. The spicier version had proper Indian levels of heat, the kind that makes you cry and occasionally breath like a dragon, but you keep yearning for more because its delicious. They can also make a milder version by getting rid of the pith and the seeds in the chilli. Go for the spicier version only if you are feeling brave and are up for a challenge. The Bhelpuri was very well balanced, the sweet, sour and crunch were on point. The samosa chaat was delicious and very filling as well. I intend to go back and try the other items like Mysore Bonda, Araku Coffee from the Araku Valley, other vegetable Bhajis and lots and lots of warm, fresh, heavenly Jalebis. First Review from around 2021/22: Medium sized shop. Good selection for its size. I have always found essential grocery items like Rice, Frozen Rotis and Parathas, Dosa batter, spices, paneer, vegetables (fresh and frozen), seasonal fruits, biscuits, fresh and packaged snacks (can recommend the fresh samosas, veg puffs and spicy peanuts), few kinds of sweets, beverages like Thums Up, Frooti and fruit flavored drinks (Mango, Lychee, Guava). I was pleasantly surprised to see potted plants on my most recent visit. Very friendly and helpful owners. A year back, the first time we came here, the owners were kind enough to drop us off at our apartment since we didn't have a car. On occasion, i have even picked up groceries from their restaurant Swagat (Hillsboro) whenever i needed. They delivered everything that i needed, at no extra cost. My experience has been quite positive so far. Please note that since this is not a very large store one may not find certain items like hand sanitizers, soaps and cleaners. But they do keep a lot of familiar brands like India Gate, Maggi, Parle-G, Haldirams, Frooti etc. Best to treat it as a neighborhood grocery store. Very kind, friendly and helpful owners who have literally dropped off supplies at my place during the pandemic.

Place is secluded and not to find. Little expensive than other Indian stores. Veggies not fresh. Eatery was empty. Some dry lentils were expired. It seems like it is struggling to survive.

Nice place! The owners are also very friendly. However, I wouldn't suggest buying mangoes here. We bought a box worth $45 (12 pieces) & more than 50% of the box had rotten mangoes. We didn't experience such problem with other veggies & fruits though.

Many items they are selling have expired. When flagged, the request was ignored. Make sure you check the expiry date before buying anything from this store.

Love having an indian grocery store just few miles away! Have seen this store grow so well ! Have almost every item that's available in USA. Any items needed and not seen, they take note and try to bring it. The vegetables arrive almost every week and instantly updated to customers so they can stop by and pick it up fresh! There's also a small food truck giving you some quick fast foods and chaats. Menu is simple sleek and yummy as well! Love this store and the customer service!

Yelp
Today, i visited India Imports, just looking at websites that met very down to earth amazing people. I had really homely experience in shop. The moment they noticed that the am new in town helped me drop groceries to my apartment plus give me a ride, it was a beautiful act and gesture. GODBLESS!!

Yelp
This little Indian grocery store is a hidden away in an office park, with signs pointing toward its location from the main street. I'm not too familiar with Indian food so I can't speak to the selection or quality necessarily, but the cashier was really friendly and even gave us a taste of some of the cardamom cookies. I think I could find everything I would need in terms of dry ingredients, should I attempt to make biryani at home. There is a small produce section and some frozen items as well. I ended up coming home with some green cardamom pods (spices were on sale) and a really tasty cardamom almond milk drink. I see myself coming here again, since it's a short walk from home.

Yelp
We had gone here to get basic Indian spices and vegetables. While getting other stuff My husband bought five samosas too and all five samosas were uncooked. It had sticky dough inside. Never wasting my money and time to go to this place. Here are some pictures of samosas. It's disgusting.

Yelp
Store has all Indian basic foods and snacks. Convenient location in Hillsboro. Lots of prices/labels are outdated or misplaced.

Yelp
Nice cashier. Helped find many items since I don't speak the language. Do not have cookbooks. Selection of spices and ingredients are otherwise, fantastic.

Yelp
Nice quaint little shop in Hillsboro. Has all the required food items for an Indian store. Also the cashier is nice and helps you find things that you are looking for. Best thing is I don't have to drive till Beaverton or Portland to get stuff.

Yelp
Has organic Indian Food selection! Nice people, professional and helpful. This place is kind of hidden, but once you find it, it's nice place to shop. I noticed they also have money transfer company now!

Yelp
Our first time to visit the store. Very friendly, helpful and the Samosa that was served to us was wonderful ! I noticed on the facebook page re: Status ---It states "May be Permanently Closed" which is incorrect. The hours as stated on the door of the business ----- Open 11:30 am-8:30 pm Enjoy !
