Indian Biryani Delights Halal Food

this one of the two to three food carts parked on Greenwich St in front of Whole Foods. the tiny green cart serves up a variety of different meats over rice; gyro sandwiches, and a few other savory eats. the cart is typically there from lunch to early dinner time. the cart looks clean and is well-maintained. stopped by here bc i wanted some takeout after running errands and shopping in Tribeca. got the chicken over rice. good quality and ample quantity — the chicken was seasoned so well and cooked up nicely on the grill. the rice was nice and fluffy. there was a small amount of salad packed into the side. and the hot sauce and white sauce were flavorful. all in all, a tasty meal for just $7 + tip. the grill guy is friendly and ended up giving me a soda for free with my meal. nice guy.

People visiting NYC, don’t miss out on this food truck. Really delicious food, one of the best tasting Indian food I tried in NYC. Tried chicken biryani here. A disclaimer that it was not like normal sim biryani but the taste of rice and chicken was flavorful at very reasonable price. The food was prepared and provided in reasonable time. There spicy sauce is really really hot. I would not recommend it.Even if you like spicy food, I would say avoid that. Place is accessible, parking might be an issue to find. You can look for street parking or paid parking garage nearby.

Nice guy, good food, especially for the price point. I got this falafel biryani on a chilly day—it hit the spot.

Was a busy time when we came by with a large family of about 12 waiting for their food, but only took about 10 minutes. Food was great - flavorful with some spice. Large portion and very filling. There are a good number of pigeons that hang around waiting for something to drop which may turn some off, but I thought they were pretty funny to watch.

I asked for a lot of white sauce. This is what he gave me. There is literally no taste to this… this isn’t even sufficient sauce even if I hadn’t asked for a lot. Unbelievable.

Ordered some food and the worker waited until it was time to pay to tell me cash only. Should put a clear sign up stating no card accepted, complete waste of time.

I just bought a Chicken biriyani from this cart.I thought it will be like usual biriyani but the chicken was chopped and mixed with the rice.It was one of the best and unique biriyani I ever had and the guy of the cart was also friendly.I will definitely go there again!
