Great beach and nice drive to get there once you leave the main land.
The only challenge is parking.
There are public parking stalls at each street towards the beach (west) but they are intermixed with Resident Parking, and you usually have to pull off Gulf Boulevard to find if there is a spot, and depending on the time of day there often is not.
So back to Gulf Boulevard and on to the next street, while trying not to get rear ended.
If you don’t find one of these free spots you are down to the main end and are paying $5 an hour there, if there is a spot.
Some people say there is parking on the side streets east of Gulf Boulevard but we have never had any luck there.
But back to the beach.
It’s lovely, and there are foot showers and benches to sit and dry off at the access points.
At the beach itself there are a reasonable amount of shells if you are into that.
There are also a lot of shore birds and pelicans off shore diving.
Also you may see dolphins breaching.
So overall, a nice beach experience without the high rises behind you, a nice vibe.
