First timer! I love the bold flavors of the food, the decor and atmosphere. I enjoyed a spicy mango margarita with some appetizers while I waited for my mango chicken enchiladas. The staff were friendly and upbeat, the food took a bit to come out but the presentation and flavors made it worth it. The water carafe at the table is small and I wish the staff came around more frequently to refill it. If you love margaritas, they do have a membership!!!

We had the chickpea tacos on corn tortillas and pork on naan, and shared the squash soup. It was all amazing, with complex balanced flavors. Blending Indian and Mexican food is genius! Will be eating here again.

Google
It was ok. They had a couple good apps and some great concepts but were lacking in some important areas. The enchiladas were dry and weren't super flavorful. My wife said they needed a touch of salt. The steak I got was pretty good and the aoli was nice. The guacamole was interesting with the mint in it and the pico with the tamarind was good. The highlight of the meal was the fried cauliflower. It seemed like the Indian and Mexican fusion was more like: You get a side that was a touch of spices from either genre and nothing too pronounced. There is a ton of potential there. Spice it up! Mix the spices together. And a pinch of salt would go a long way.

A few weeks ago, I chose Indicana in The Perry District for my birthday dinner. Party of 10. It was the best way to try Indicana for my first time, because I got to taste all the food from my friends and family which represented a lot of the choices from their menu. Overall, I was impressed with the delightful flavors and presentation and creativity of this menu... India X Mexico-- the brainchild and culinary creative genius of Chef Noreen. This past Sunday, Indicana celebrated their one year anniversary by blessing their patrons with an unforgettable dining experience... a Six-Course tasting menu. Six courses with six tequila cocktail pairings. As each course was served, Chef Noreen came out to clink the glass to grab our attention and talk about the dish. This included her sharing information about the ingredients and connecting some nostalgia and inspiration to the fusion of India X Mexico. The bartender also popped in to introduce the tequila cocktails she perfectly crafted to pair with that course. Sometime during the evening, "Chip," the silent partner, also came to our table to introduce himself and chat a bit. That was charming and added to the intimate, human experience at Indicana that night. My Love took me to this dining event, which felt like a continuation of my birthday just weeks ago-- Food and Stories, the two things I love most about this whole earth-side human experience. The portions were beyond generous for a tasting menu. The flavors were positively poised, so balanced, pairing two cultures so well that they seemingly fused into an entirely new cuisine leaving you to feel warm, satiated, satisfied and inspired to unify. We should come together, blend cultures, break bread, share thoughts, ideas, and love each other... Start with the food. Start at Indicana. Happy 1st Anniversary, Indicana! Cheers to many, many more years and continued successes! Thank you for showing up. Spokane needed you. Did you really read all that? 🦋🖤🦋

What a fantastic night out with friends! We dined on Indicana’s gorgeous patio. Our drinks were nothing short of delightful—elevated craft cocktails that felt both refreshing and inventive. Each sip was a testament to the care and creativity poured into Indicana’s full bar offerings. And the food? Absolutely stunning. Every dish arrived looking like a work of art, beautifully plated with vibrant colors and meticulous attention to detail. Of course, the flavors matched the visual presentation. From innovative fusion tacos and shareables to satisfying entrees and house-made desserts, every bite was a harmonious blend of Indian and Mexican influences—bold, fresh, and delicious. The kitchen’s commitment to quality is clear, and it shines in every dish. Service was friendly and attentive without ever feeling intrusive; it complemented the delightful atmosphere perfectly. Whether you’re out for a casual meal, a celebratory dinner, or a festive gathering, Indicana hits the mark on all fronts. Highly recommend—Indicana delivered a stellar experience in every way. We can’t wait to return!

We came in for restaurant week after we saw they they were participating. This restaurant has been on our radar since it opened and thought this was a wonderful way to try it. We had a reservation, but half our party couldn't make it. I called and asked about switching it to a 2 top a little earlier in the afternoon. They were so accommodating to get us a spot with a last minute update. We sat at the bar and ordered immediately. Everything we got was a fantastic, creative culinary creation that was so well thought out. The tres leches cake is one of the best desserts I have ever eaten. The shrimp had the most incredible seasoning on them. The mango addition to the enchiladas added the perfect balance to the dish. And the chai espresso martini was perfection. Everyone was so welcoming and nice, and the design of the restaurant is warm and inviting.

Google
The location has issue with difficulty parking which is everything in the Perry district. We noticed that the food was unique given the fusion choice, and when trying it the food was so good. I definitely suggest the three amigos. However I feel the food here is something you have to specifically be craving it's a very unique taste. I ordered medium rare steak and potatoes and it came out more medium well. They did comp us for this and did ask if we wanted it remade I just wanted them to know that it wasn't what I ordered so they could work on that, but I don't believe in wasting food so I still ate it, and it was just petty chewy because of the way it was cooked. The manager stated they were working on getting the meat levels down so they appreciated the information. My husband ordered the pollo asada. It was very moist and flavored very well. It was pretty great overall!

Google
We went on a Thursday after the Perry Street Market, the food was deeply rich and flavorful, the portions were okay for the price and the uniqueness of the place. Truly a fusion that worked well, didn’t feel like I leaned more towards Mexican or Indian food. Drinks were also amazing, my Fiancée had the old fashioned and said it was the best he’s had in Spokane thus far. I had the Baja beet, earthy and unique. Server was phenomenal, checked with us often and communicated to us when our drinks were going to be just an extra second :) Only reason not a 5 star on food- pork belly con mole as an entree (which is what I had ordered) felt more like an appetizer. The red mole sauce and raw salad meshed perfectly and the pork belly was decently crisp. Again just felt more like an appetizer in meat choice and size a bit, I just felt myself wanting more pork flavor and less fat (though it was very good) Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!!

Yelp
HIGHLY highly recommend Indicana in Perry District. Its is a Mexican Indian fusion restaurant and everything was amazing. Sorry I didn't take pictures because I dont usually take pictures of food, but it was just that amazing that I needed to share my review. I went with a friend and we ordered the taquitos de papa chaat, the achiote marinated pollo asado, and the mango chicken enchiladas. Then there was a mess up in the kitchen so we ended up getting another order of the taquitos. Ok. The taquitos.... FULL DISCLOSURE. I cant get it out of my head. Its fried tortilla shell, the perfectly seasoned potatoes inside. The fresh tomatoes for a perfect combination between cooked and uncooked. Im full on addicted and im going back tonight to get another order bc Im addicted. (I hope the kitchen messes up again so I can get another order!! Jk!) For drinks I ordered the mango mojito and lychee martini. Both were great, but the lychee martini was absolutely refreshing. Then we fell for it even though we were stuffed and couldn't eat anymore-- we ordered dessert. We had the Lassi Panni Cotti and it was this curd dessert with peanuts... girrrrrrlllllll SOO GOOD. Spokane, dont skip this spot. This place needs to stay!!! Its perfect for a night out, catching up with friends, or date night. You can make reservations or sit at the bar, where it sits approximately 5 people. Cheers!

Yelp
Indicana, voted Best New Restaurant by the Inlander for 2025, is a thoughtful Indian-Mexican fusion spot that manages to highlight both cuisines without letting one overpower the other. This teeters between a 4 and 5 for me, but didn't get to try enough to truly decide. We stopped in for happy hour while eating our way through Spokane and ordered three dishes: the Three Amigos, crispy cauliflower, and potato taquitos. The taquitos were our favorite -- crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned -- though the cauliflower was a close second. The tamarind pico from the Three Amigos added such a nice sweet-tart twist. The guac was my least favorite, a bit one-note compared to the punchy flavors elsewhere, but still fresh. I love that everything is clearly labeled for dietary restrictions, and though I skipped cocktails this visit (a bit alcoholed out!), the rotating margarita flavors definitely caught my eye... I'll be back for one.

Yelp
We've been wanting to try this newer place in the Perry District. The ambiance is chic, warm and inviting. We were lucky to find a nice table inside on a hot afternoon during the Thursday market, as it seems reservations are, at the very least, encouraged. Our server was pleasant. We enjoyed the food and found the flavor combinations unique and flavorful. Hope to return and check out the patio.

Yelp
We were in Spokane for the weekend and after reviewing their menu, we had to stop by. The decor and artwork is stunning and they have a nice, shaded area outside to sit which was perfect for us after a long drive. We had a hard time deciding because everything looked so good. We shared the taquitos and it was amazing. I had the cauliflower bowel and my husband had one of their burritos. Both lunch portions were huge and wonderful. We had great service and we highly recommend going to this unique restaurant.

Yelp
It's easy to see why Indicana was voted top new restaurant this year: welcoming service , great drink options , interesting , delicious and different menu items. We had the curry "rip and dip " starter, with our excellent cocktails . I chose the Viceroy Old Fashioned served with one giant ice cube and my husband had a classic margarita without salt. The appetizer was spicy and complex which set us up for our entree of Salmon Rojo ( 8 oz portion) which we split. Enough for us but next time we will save room for the Tres Leches dessert which was recommended. I liked everything about the place - attentive servers , decent prices, nice patio , quiet music ---even gorgeous wallpaper in the restroom!
google avatar

Suzee B.

Yelp
Excited to try this Mexican-Indian fusion. The Viceroy Old Fashion was incredibly small for the price, but delicious. The Jarritos Especial was a yummy drink as well. The Three Amigos appetizer was so fun! The queso and guacamole were especially tasty. I've never enjoyed guacamole as much as this...so fresh tasting with unusual spice! The mango enchiladas were delicious also. Two of us ordered the steak and batatas. The steak was overcooked and just ok. Only thing we didn't enjoy. Overall though very enjoyable evening.

Yelp
Settled in the South Perry District, Indicana is a warm space to gather for a delightful food fusion of Mexican and Indian flavors. Excellent and quick service, simple yet stylish aesthetics and unique cuisine! Cant wait to go back. Stuffed Poblano Pepper- Roasted poblano pepper stuffed with kheema masala (Indian spiced ground beef) & queso, topped with Indicana salsa verde, tamarind pico, pickled onion and cilantro, served on butter masala with naan Crispy Cauliflower- Gluten free battered cauliflower tossed in chili-garlic sauce with ginger, curry leaves, pickled onion and cilantro Pollo Asado- Boneless chicken thighs marinated in a flavorful Mexican citrus-achiote paste, grilled and served over aloo saag (Indian spiced potatoes with spinach) and garnished with pickled onion, charred jalapeño and cilantro. Served with creamy verde slaw & lime. Mango Enchiladas- Cheesy poblano (Veg) OR Cheesy chicken enchiladas with a house made savory (and slightly spicy) mango enchilada sauce, cheese, crema, cotija & cilantro. Served with creamy verde slaw & fiesta pulao rice.

Mac K.

Yelp
We had a server named Jahee and he was absolutely wonderfu! The food was the best I've had in Spokane, maybe the best chicken I've ever had as well! We got the polo asado, and the verde sauce was incredible. Great service, great food, this is my new favorite restaurant.
google avatar

Peggy A.

Yelp
Delicious! Save room for the to-die-for tres leches cake. Unlike the traditional version, this one is not overly sweet, not overly milky and is perfectly chai spiced.
google avatar

Chimene S.

Yelp
It's fun and different. The quality of the food is good. Preparation and presentation are solid. I developed a preference for a dish after 1 visit and then it was gone when I returned. I was a little disappointed. I don't have such strong remembrances of my last meal there but the ambiance and cocktails were very nice. It's not just Indian or Mexican. Definitely a fusion so I'd you like both cuisines but you're a little bored and looking for something different try Indicana
google avatar

Ying W.

Yelp
Really fun spot with a unique India-meets-Mexico concept. You can taste distinct elements from both cuisines without one overpowering the other. The food was tasty across the board, and the lassi yogurt was an absolutely delicious way to finish the meal.
google avatar

Yuri H.

Yelp
Since indicana is a restaurant of two spice filled cultures I expected a lot of heat. I was sadly disappointed, however the food was good. My daughter and I didn't have a reservation, but they sat us at the bar. We share an appetizer and a meal, the food was delicious and could have used more heat.
google avatar

Steve S.

Yelp
Nice place. Great menu. We went for my birthday. They were very nice with good service and servers. Prices were what one would expect.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely incredible experience! This is my favorite restaurant I've been to in CDA and Spokane. Super fun flavors cooked perfectly in a beautifully decorated restaurant. I can't be more impressed really. Counting the days till I can come back. Thank y'all so much, keep up the excellent work!!
google avatar

Leah K.

Yelp
HUGE fan!!! I have now been to Indicana twice since they have opened and it has been great both times. The queso dip is by far my favorite thing on the menu. The steak is absolutely delicious and the chefs did such a wonderful job at creating such a unique and flavorful menu. The servers have been nothing but wonderful and the the vibe inside the restaurant is super fun. Great date night spot and they have so many fun drinks to try as well!
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic addition to Perry St! Unique, fresh, diet restriction friendly. Incredible staff and delicious flavor combos. Make reservations!
google avatar

Thornton J.

Yelp
Totally awesome. My partner and I both had salads, hers a wedge salad, mine a spring salad. We both appreciated how unique the salad dressings contributed to the overall experience. They've been open a year and have already been selected as best new restaurant in Spokane. Try it, you'll really like it
google avatar

Pam H.

Yelp
What a great place. The food is unique and so delicious! They have the best chai I have had in a long time. We had the three amigos and loved all of them. we also had the crispy cauliflower, which could've been crispier. But the flavor was amazing. We had the butternut squash soup, which is a - amazing! A flavor was Crable. After all of that we were full, but we had already ordered a main dish so we topped off the night with steak and batatas. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned! This was a fantastic experience. I would recommend getting reservations before you go. Try ordering outside the box it's fun outside the box.
google avatar

Grace W.

Yelp
So delicious!! Came in for lunch and ordered the cauliflower burrito with curry sauce on top and it was very satisfying and tasty. Genius to blend Indian flavors with Mexican presentation, I WILL be using naan as taco shells in the future. Such friendly service as well. Highly recommend people to check out this new Spokane gem.
google avatar

Jen E.

Yelp
Love the decors! Great cocktails! The foods were ok, not a lot of notes mostly hot peppers and salty! The service is ok. She have great sense of urgency but no attempt to make any connection with customers, hard to justify why we would go the extra miles to leave more then 18% tips.
google avatar

Lisa D.

Yelp
Nice to see new places & fusions. Offers unique flavors & healthy options. Adding to our list to return to.

Yelp
It's pretty good. Actually, if you change your expectations, it's really good. But as for a "New Mexican Cuisine/Indian" fusion kind of restaurant, it falls sadly short. We ordered the Pollo Asado and the Steak. The chicken was well cooked but rather bland for a restaurant that should be delivering food that is full of great spice and should be somewhat spicy. The chicken's side was a potato/spinach blend that had some earthy tones but otherwise underwhelming. The steak was really well cooked. They nailed it. The potatoes, like most things that came out, were underwhelming. They had so much potential. The story continued with the beans. They were good. Not great. When you think of Mexican or Indian food you think about flavor! We left wanting more. So it's good. The vibe is solid. My favorite part - and be prepared - the food comes out slowly but the servers were awesome. So like with the food, go in having realistic expectations about the timeline. You'll be here a while. Plan on ordering an app, having some good conversation, and some food that you won't complain about...it just might not have you coming back a second time.

Lisa B.

Yelp
What a wonderful place to enjoy a delicious meal. The outdoor seating is perfect for a relaxing evening. The food is excellent and so are the cocktails. The service was excellent as well. I cannot recommend this place more.

Lori D.

Yelp
Great service and tasty menu. Sat outside and enjoyed appetizers and some unique beverages. I will visit again!

Yelp
Delicious new restaurant in South Perry and the perfect addition to the neighborhood! I brought my mom here for lunch on a Saturday after some shopping and we were seated immediately. It smelled so good in the restaurant and the decor was bright and colorful. The fusion menu combining Indian and Mexican was genius and a great flavor combo. We started with the guacamole and chips and crispy cauliflower. Both were a must order (especially the chips which were 10/10). Then I had the Chana Masala bowl and my mom had the Chicken Tikka bowl - both were large portions and packed with flavor. The only thing I didn't love love was the margarita. It was okay but next time I will probably order something else. Will definitely be back soon!

Elena C.

Yelp
I ate there last week, had the pork vindaloo tacos , chips and guacamole and salsa. Delicious! Fresh ingredients, perfect temperature and seasoning was perfect! Wanted to go back to try the chicken tikka tacos but did not have time, I'll be back. The house made naan is divine The chef came to our table to greet us , what a treat! Clean, beautiful outdoor space and indoors is cozy as well.

Terry J.

Yelp
Awesome! My wife and I had dinner here last night and loved everything from the ambience to the very delicious chicken, enchiladas, salmon and taquito appetizer! Josie was a very nice waitress.
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
Well that was ridiculously good! Dropped in for Friday happy hour after hearing about indicana from a friend and was it was all-around great! Mashing up two cuisines/cultures from literally opposite sides of the globe... and it works so well! Of note tonight: the curry rip & dip, the three amigos (each component was just wow- smooth lime-y guacamole, sweet tamarind pico de gallo, gorgeous queso), the dishes, the space, the fantastic service crew. Heading back asap to work through more of the menu!
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Food was absolutely amazing! I can see why they were so busy. If you plan on trying this place out I highly recommend you make a reservation or you will be waiting for a while to get in. This place remind me of a restaurant you would find in a big city and we are lucky enough to have it here.
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot. Good cocktails. Good service. Very nice food with flavors you don't usually get in Spokane. You'll like it
google avatar

Kattie B.

Yelp
Started off with the nachos and they were great. However, we got the naan tacos and paid $4 extra for lentils and rice. The tacos were ok. Would have been good if the naan bread was made fresh and the chicken wasn't so dry. The naan bread tasted like store bought and broke in half when I folded it in half. The lentils and rice had zero flavor. Thankfully the waitress removed the extra cost of them since we did not eat them. Staff was great, food was just ok. I was hoping for more.

Yelp
We made a reservation a week prior and were very excited to check out this restaurant. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated right by the door (it was 35 degrees and rainy and the door was being held open by people coming in). I asked our host to accommodate a seat change as there were a couple other 2 tops open as well as the entire bar top. The host agreed that it was cold where we were seated but declined request to change our table. The host continued to seat people that arrived after us in the empty tables, while the bar remained unoccupied. I approached the host again asking for a seat anywhere else and they did not want to accommodate. We opted to leave the restaurant and enjoyed a meal somewhere we were able to take our coats off. The tables are by the door are all 2 tops, so I would recommend coming with at least 4 people.
google avatar

Sandy R.

Yelp
Didn't like the after taste, maybe the bread. But the chorizo was good and the veggies were good
google avatar

Brooke B.

Yelp
We attended Indicana's "soft" opening and had such a lovely date-night. We had fabulous service and everything was just totally delicious. We started with a yummy appetizer combo, queso/guac/pico, and then ate every bit of our entrees - such unique flavor combinations. I still think about my perfectly sweet yet refreshing mango mojito We will definitely be back!

Kate G.

Yelp
Easily one of the best restaurants in Spokane. The staff is friendly and attentive and every dish I've tried was amazing. The taquitos are a particular favorite. The outdoor patio space is also lovely and quiet.

Richard M.

Yelp
We have eaten here three times. My wife LOVES the food and the unique concept. Each time I've eaten there my food was served warm, not hot. They were nice about returning it to the kitchen. But by the time it returned, everyone else was nearly finished eating. P

Natalie W.

Yelp
Food was delicious! Service was awesome! Totally love the atmosphere, it's a very beautiful restaurant. Will be coming back again and again.

Rylee G.

Yelp
The food was incredible - so much flavor it makes my mouth water just thinking about it. It was easy to eat there being dairy free. The whole place was adorable too! They even gave my friend a birthday treat since it was his birthday. Our waitress was great!
google avatar

Emily N.

Yelp
We had Curry Rip & Dip which was fantastic. I had Sweet Potato Enchiladas and my guy had the Chicken Kebob, both good but pretty small portions for the price. Service was friendly but terrible. It was busy when we showed up so we understood waiting quite awhile but then it thinned out and our server seemed to either dissapear or only help the guests around us. Never asked us if we needed a drink refill, nothing. The restaurant itself is adorable. We are on the fence about giving it another try because the menu looks awesome, it's just a lot to pay for very poor service.
google avatar

Karen F.

Yelp
What a great restaurant! The food is a fusion of Indian & Mexican, "who woulda thunk it." The food was just amazing. My husband & I shared the ribs and it was plenty of food. The slaw was unique, unlike anything we've ever had. The decor was beautiful which added to the experience. Our server, Elizabeth, was wonderful, quick & professional. The manager, Jeff, checked on us to make sure all was well. They both deserve raises! We will be back & will be bringing friends. We recommend you check it out.

Lesley G.

Yelp
Don't miss out on dining at this distinctive and delightful restaurant in the Perry District! We ordered a variety of dishes and loved them all. The staff was wonderful, welcoming and knowledgeable, and the menu held a variety of things you won't find at another restaurant in Spokane. Delicious! Can't wait to return.

Arsphidius C.

Yelp
Tried Indicana for the first time, but definitely not the last. All four of us had delicious meals, and there were so many things on the menu we still want to try. My picky eater loved the chicken tikka tacos and the queso. My eldest loved the jeera rice and black dal. Everything tasted fresh and amazing. We sat out on the patio which was lovely.
google avatar

Glenn W.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Cauliflower appetizer was perfect temperature and incredibly tasty. I am lobbying the owners to create a Spotify list of the songs played in the restaurant, which made the ambiance great for date night.

James G.

Yelp
Im absolutely flabbergasted 100% the best service I've ever had from the host to the waiter. Everyone was so great. The food was pretty good, especially considering that I don't like Indian food but still had to try this place because I've heard such good things. Love loved the service Josh and Matty were heros!

Anna H.

Yelp
When we got there they were full so we had to wait for a table, but the hostess and manager were very communicative about the status of the tables. We were sat after a ten minute wait and greeted by Kailyn. She was very welcoming and gave us menus, glasses, and a container of water. The music and the conversation made a warm atmosphere, but it was a tad difficult to hear. The food was enjoyable and the service was great!

Rick M.

Yelp
Experienced this place during restaurant week.Excellent food and service. Loved the fusion of Mexican and Indian flavors together. We will be back!

Cathy E.

Yelp
Fantastic meal all the way around. Excellent food, excellent cocktails, excellent service. The chef shows a real sense of restraint and balance in their approach. I can't recommend enough.

Tiffanie R.

Yelp
Fabulous food and super tasty!! Great service and good vibe too. Sat at the bar and was overall fun and delicious.

Jak B.

Yelp
We were excited for this place to open for months. Worth the wait. Food was exceptional. Must go.
