We came to Indie Alehouse on Monday night for a free comedy show. We really enjoyed the beer. Very nice flavours and plenty of variety to choose from. I like the restaurant decor and layout. Nice place in the west end of downtown and not far from High Park. I had the wings and fries and my friend ordered the mushroom pizza. The food was delicious and tasty. The only downside is the wings were quite small and not much meat. Otherwise, great place and I will be sure to come back again to try some other beer and food.

We visited Indie Ale House on Friday night and had a pretty good time overall - the vibe was chill. I would have loved to see a wider variety of beers on the menu but they did mention that they’ll have more options during the summer, so I’m definitely looking forward to that. We also ordered some food: buffalo wings, mushroom pizza, and pretzels. The wings and pizza were delicious, but the pretzel wasn’t the freshest - they let us know it was a frozen one they reheat. A fresh pretzel would really elevate the experience :) Overall, it was a nice evening though I’d take off a point just because there’s still room for a few improvements.

Located in the heart of the Junction, The Indie Alehouse is a popular Brewpub with locals in the area. I recently dropped by for first time during lunch hour, and similar to all restaurants in the area, it's wasn't busy during this time so there were plenty of seating and reservations were not required. However, evenings and weekends can be quite busy, but reservations can be made via OpenTable. I ordered the Burger of The mouth with a side of salad, while my friend ordered the Indie Fried Chicken Platter. I personally found the burger and salad to be quite delicious. The beef patty was juicy, with all sauces and ingredients complimenting each other nicely. My friend on the other hand, found the chicken a little dry, and the coleslaw warm, and soggy. The restaurant had a cozy laid back feel at this time, contrary to the loud and lively evenings. The hostess/server was attentive, friendly, and efficient. She let us sit anywhere we wanted when we arrived given the quieter afternoons, and she knew the menu well.

Last time I was at Indie Alehouse was during a craft beer crawl with some friends pre-COVID. This time was for a friend's birthday dinner. I didn't have any beer as I generally try to drink less these days, but my friends love the beer here, and wow was the food great. I got the fried chicken sandwich which was delicious, and the popcorn with rosemary Parmesan is a must try. Atmosphere is great here! Would definitely recommend.

Excellent birthday lunch for our Toronto based twin kids! Great pizza, burgers and beer - a winning combination. Very friendly and attentive staff. Admittedly, I was sad to have missed the Sunday waffle special. An earlier visit will be needed next time! Well worth a visit. S,L,S,M,D,S,C & J May 5,2024

This place is off the rails! If there is such thing as a perfect dining experience this has to be it! Food was spectacular, atmosphere was amazing and our server Mike was the best! If you are in the neighbourhood you HAVE TO come here!!!

We hadn't been here since before the pandemic, but remembered that the food was really good. The nachos were very good, but macaroni and cheese was really bad. It had no flavor, and was just cooked pasta with dry bits of cheese mixed in. I really have never had mac and cheese that bad from a restaurant before. The beer is still delicious, but I think it will be more of a swing by the bottle shop to get something to go place instead of grab a meal place.

Service: The service was very disappointing. It wasn’t that busy but the server seemed swamped. It was a Saturday night and she may have been doing dining by herself. There seemed like there were other people there but not sure what they were doing, one was done their shift part way through dinner hours 🤷🏼‍♀️ It took a long time and a lot of flagging them down. Couldn’t get ketchup. Beer: The Beer was mediocre, we didn’t really enjoy any that much. Food: The pretzel with the beer cheese was awesome. Ribs were good. Fried chicken was ok. However, two of the three of us got sick from the food.
