Whether you're on the hunt for a unique office space or looking for a beautiful venue to host your next event, look no further than Indie, truly.
I spent the summer as an office space tenant for a project and found myself not wanting to leave when the project wrapped.
Indie is a boutique gem, located right in the heart of town, delivering with authenticity what big-name workspaces promise and struggle to fabricate. Vibrant, close-knit community of diverse businesses and people? Check. Lush, beautifully landscaped outdoor gathering and relaxing spaces? Check. Art installations, hanging gardens, and plant-filled common spaces? Check, check, check. Every time I parked and walked onto Indie’s oasis-like grounds, I felt an immediate sense of calm and purpose -- hardly your normal office building experience.
I had an office sized for two people, but Indie offers a variety of spaces, the biggest of which I'd guess accommodate companies of two dozen or so. I also attended a few of their regular community events, which the common spaces host beautifully.
Special shout-out to the library, stocked with books from all over the world, and the screening room -- where you can hold a Zoom conference as easily as you can a company movie night. The oversized kitchen, intimate reading/work nooks scattered throughout the building, a gym, and private patios are all cherries on top.
Throw in the central ATL location, with one of the city's best breweries, a wine/cheese boutique grocery, a pickleball/restaurant/bar concept, and a trendy nightclub all on the same block, and it's obvious why I was sad to leave.
TL;DR: whether you rent an office or book their beautiful common areas and broad, tranquil outdoor spaces for an event, Indie is exceptional.
Highly recommended.
