Lindale Park’s Indigo is One of the Country’s Best New Restaurants | Eater Houston

"Recognized by Eater as one of the country’s most compelling new restaurants and named on Food & Wine’s top-ten list, this Lindale Park fine-dining restaurant is led by chef Jonny Rhodes and co-owner Chana Rhodes and intentionally uses its platform to challenge systemic racism and oppression. Service features the chef delivering monologues between courses on weighty topics such as mass incarceration and the Great Migration, and the menu and location—a fine dining spot in a historically underserved neighborhood—are presented as part of that mission. The team has pursued local community initiatives for Lindale Park, including plans for a community garden, and the chef has earned local accolades such as Eater Houston’s 2018 Chef of the Year." - Amy McCarthy

I don't recommend it, they are old buildings, so there are many cockroaches, no matter how much you try to keep them clean, the cockroaches are on the walls. The office does nothing, you send to fumigate, but if you ask them to go again, they say that you have to wait a while for them to send the fumigators again, and even so the cockroaches do not disappear. The attitude of the people in the office at the beginning when you arrive is friendly, but then they have a bad attitude. Prices went up a lot for what they offer. I don't recommend you to come and live here, this is my last month, they invented costs for me, I'm already getting rid of these evil people.

Where do I even start….. this has been the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. I am in my early 20’s . This was my 1st apartment of my own. I moved in November 2021, and am breaking my lease before April 2022. Roaches, mold, brown water, spiders, broken shower rod, paint peeling from walls and inside tub, my building always smells horrible, gates don’t work, roads are raggedy, my car got scraped and hit TWICE, 3 light bulbs blew out in my bathroom (had to buy my own), bear bottles, glass, garbage all in parking spaces, dish washer is disgusting and I’ve never used it, oven has grease and old food, oven is peeling on top and I’ve never used it and water for my unit Atleast was not working all Christmas Day 2021. I mean what else. On top of that I have to pay $2000 to break my lease…. Pleaseeeeeee. This whole place belongs in the garbage. Just to remind you I’ve only been here less than 6 months. That should tell you a lot.

Just moved in, and do far so good. Prices are cheap, but units are nice. Lots of kids in the complex. Pool and gym on site. Also, all utilities are included except electricity which is only the lights. Pets are welcome and there is a $399 first month rent special. Close to some of the best authentic Mexican, central, and south American food in Atlanta. Cons: No w/d hookups in units, have to use on site laundry (and pay for it). There really isn't a neighborhood, as the complex is located on the 85 access road. There isn't really any place to take a walk or anything.

Highly Upset. Sitting in the parking lot writing this review. My cousin and I had a tour scheduled at 1 and 1:15. It’s 1:22 and all of a sudden everyone is on “lunch”. I get it, it is lunch time. However, there’s no note on the door and this could’ve been communicated before I spent my time, lunch break and gas coming here.

Poor communication, poor customer service, not professional whatsoever. It’s been 2 months and I still haven’t received my admin fee that was refundable. It’s impossible to reach the leasing office because they hang up on you when they don’t want to be bothered. Rent from anywhere but through them it’s a waste of time and money invest elsewhere because they are a JOKE!

This is the worst place to live, yes the prices are low but you get what you pay for. Upon entry through the broken gates you will notice the age of the buildings, the numerous cars being worked on or broke down, balconies filled with trash, bottles, clothes, debris. I don’t understand why management does not say anything to the residents about the appearance. I would not recommend living here.
