"Located on the second floor of the Shangri-La on Sheikh Zayed Road, this modern spot is peaceful during the day and lively at night. The menu is split in two: the first encompasses traditional Indian dishes, while the second re-interprets the same classics in a creative, contemporary way without comprising on core taste. Tapas-style plates are meant for sharing, offering colourful, appealing presentation and well defined, harmonious flavours. End your meal with the kithul jaggery wattalappam that delicately combines coconut, nutmeg, passion fruit and lime." - Michelin Inspector

My partner surprised me with a dinner at this amazing Michelin Guide Indian restaurant, and I absolutely loved it! The food was really so good with authentic Indian flavors served in such a creative and modern way. Every dish was a standout, and I honestly didn’t want it to end! The atmosphere was so unique perfectly setting the mood for a memorable evening. We felt truly taken care of throughout the night. It’s the perfect spot for a special date night or a celebration, especially with their fantastic drink selection that pairs so well with the food. Huge thanks to Mr. Sandeep for the wonderful service, and Chef Hemant Oberoi for creating such mouthwatering dishes.

Recognised by the Michelin Guide and Gault Milau, Indikaya is a truly outstanding restaurant in Dubai. Thanks to the culinary brilliance of legendary Chef Hemant Oberoi, a true icon Chef Hemant has over 5 decades of experience with 40 years plus at the iconic Taj Hotel in Mumbai. He has cooked for world leaders over these years and has won several awards and accolades. The menu showcases heirloom recipes with a modern twist, with bold - authentic Indian flavours ; crafted with Chef Oberoi’s signature finesse. From the innovative Hathodi Chaat to the delicious “Morel Of The Story” - A Kashmir Valley Treasure. We loved the uber creative and utterly delicious Jalebi with saffron, orange, fennel and pepper A perfect restaurant to celebrate Diwali in style with friends and family. Head here to experience Indian flavours like never before.

I recently went to Indikaya at Shangri-La Dubai and tried a few dishes, like Hatori Chaat and Chocolate Shawarma. Honestly, everything tasted amazing — full of flavor and really well-presented. The restaurant has a cozy yet elegant vibe, perfect for a relaxed meal. The staff were super friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re in Dubai and want to try something different and delicious

Indikaya, Indian cuisine served in a modern tapas style with a twist on some Indian classics. There is a choice of à la carte and set menus. Their food was ok but nothing special. Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 Average PPP 450

Had a very nice business lunch. The Ambi Fish Tikka from the business lunch menu was so good that we ended up ordering another portion from the à la carte menu. The service was excellent—special thanks to Kapil for his attentive and professional service.

Highly recommended! ❤️ I had the pleasure of attending relaunch of Indikaya’s Indian menu and they truly redefine Indian fine dining in the most elegant way. The food was absolutely amazing and thoughtfully crafted. Few remarkables, Hathodi Chaat – a playful twist on Indian street food, theatrically served and bursting with tangy, sweet, and spicy flavors. Kurmaani ki Aloo Tikki was perfectly crisp with a rich, comforting core. I loved Bhuni Makai ka Shorba – a roasted corn soup with turmeric popcorns – warm, creamy, and surprisingly soulful. The Matka Kebab brought bold smokiness to the table. For mains, the Dal-da Gosht was rich and rustic, and Prawns on the Rocks arrived with a sizzling flair, perfectly paired with Hari Mirch and Mint Pulao – absolutely delicious! We ended on a sweet high with two standout desserts: Chocolate Shawarma – dramatic, indulgent, and fun to eat Tilla Misu – their Indian spin on tiramisu; delicate, creamy, and unforgettable. The ambiance was stylish yet peaceful, perfect for birthdays, dates, or a cozy dinner with friends. I also loved the chic bar area, which added to the charm of the evening. Special shoutout to the friendly and attentive staff who made the whole experience even more memorable. Exceeded all my expectations. Can’t wait to be back! 🙌

Every bite tells a story — and at Indikaya, that story is rich, bold, and unforgettable. From the moment I stepped inside, I could feel the warmth of Indian heritage blended with a modern, elegant twist. Each dish isn’t just food, it’s a chapter… full of flavor, color, and soul. You can literally taste the creativity in every spice, every detail. It’s not just about eating — it’s about experiencing. If you’re someone who appreciates storytelling through food, this place is a must. I can’t wait to share more from this beautiful culinary journey. Service is exceptional and big thanks to the whole team and especially Chef Hemant Oberoi.

Super glad we chose Indikaya to celebrate my mother’s birthday! Every dish in our lunch selection was delicious. This included the Sarson ke Phool and their variant of the Malai Broccoli. The show stopper was their Brie and Truffle Naan which honestly, could be a standalone dish in itself. We paired the naan with Edamame Palak which was subtle and complemented the earthy naan well. We had the Chocolate Shawarma for dessert. It was fun watching the process where they set up an apparatus and serve the dessert proper shawarma style! Kudos to the chef for pairing it with their in house rose ice cream. 😋 We were too full to try anything else. But we actually ended up going the next day as well! We had the Akuri along with the truffle naan (again! Yes, we missed it and wanted more!), which we thoroughly enjoyed! Finally we had the Biryani which was incredible and was served with assorted papads. What a hearty experience the second time around!! Congratulations to the entire team for their service and consistency in dishing out quality food. I would highly recommend Indikaya for celebrations!!
