Indikaya offers an exceptional fine-dining Indian experience that truly lives up to its Michelin Guide recognition. Curated by Chef Hemant Oberoi, the menu beautifully balances tradition with thoughtful innovation.
We began with the fish tikka, which was perfectly cooked-smoky, tender, and delicately spiced. The strawberry dahi bhalla was a delightful surprise, offering a refreshing and creative twist on a classic. For mains, the butter chicken stood out for its rich, velvety gravy, while the hari mirch chicken pulao was fragrant, flavourful, and subtly spiced. The slow-cooked dal makhni paired wonderfully with the selection of breads, showcasing comfort and depth in every bite.
Dessert was the perfect finish-Tila Misu, a clever Indian interpretation of Tira misu and sesame, that was indulgent without being overpowering.
Impeccable presentation, attentive service of Kapil and Zaw, and a warm yet elegant ambience make Indikaya a must-visit for anyone seeking elevated Indian cuisine. Highly recommended.
