INDO Restaurant & Lounge

Fusion southeast Asian dishes with elegant lounge dining experience. Although this restaurant is described as Indonesian, there are quite a few other dishes such as Thai cuisine and fusion dishes that are served. All the appetizers and desserts were delicious.

Indo Restaurant is a wonderful restaurant with delicious food served in a unique and elegant way, VERY friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. The chef makes everything from scratch. Thank you for an enjoyable dining experience. It is located not too far from Stanford hospital. We will DEFINITELY be back again when we return to this area.

Enjoyed delicious food at Indo. Both garlic noodles and pan seared Seabass were flavorful and appetizing. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

Great for team lunch or dinners. Do not have a very big parking lot. But definitely recommend this place as their food was great and even the ambiance, especially for mornings. However for dinners, the lighting is too dim and could be improved. I saw few people using flash from their mobile cell to read the menu. Coming back to food, they do present beautifully some flavorful plates.

We had a great dinner - every dish was perfect. The service was prompt and friendly. Enjoyed drinks appetizer main course and dessert within 90 minutes! Quitel flavorful preparation without being overly spicy. Excellent space for larger groups too.

Good Asian fusion food. Great place for celebrating, as the location is nice and I do puts so much effort into presenting the dishes - all super pretty. The taste is good if you are open to new experiences, for some looking for authentic Thai or Malay flavors you might not want to go to a fusion restaurant. 😉 Service is great, the food comes our relatively quickly.

I love Indonesian food--I've had it in Indonesia and Australia. Unfortunately, there aren't many restaurants in the SF Bay Area that service this cuisine, so I was excited to eat here. Being a cool spring evening, we opted to dine on the patio, which was tented and had heat lamps. There wasn't anything special about the patio, and I wished we had stayed inside where there was more personality to the restaurant. As for the food, well, I don't remember what I ordered and ate, so I had to revisit the menu before writing this. We started with Roti Prata (crispy flatbread) and Poh Pia (shrimp spring rolls), and for entrees, we ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, Duck Kapitan, and green bean sambal. Were the dishes authentic? Probably not. Do they pay homage to Indonesian cuisine with a western twist to suit the American palette? Yes. Do they do a good job of it? Questionable. The food was okay--I don’t have anything good or bad to say about it, but I'm also comparing this to what I ate in Bali. So I'm biased. Maybe this is a nice introduction to Indonesian food, if you've never had it. Overall, I did not find anything exceptional about INDO that would warrant a second visit.

We went here for team lunch. Food was very tasty and service was blazingly fast. We were on tight schedule and had to be back to office in an hour and Pam helped us in getting everything going right as soon as as arrived. Some of the dishes we ordered were mie goreng, roti prata, coconut pudding, lamb korma, bruele etc. everything was tasty and in good quantity
