We had dinner at Indomito recently, and while the experience had its highlights, it left me somewhat underwhelmed overall.
The restaurant has a "unique" concept where the chef decides your meal instead of ordering from a menu. While this can be exciting for some, I found it limiting and frustrating. It felt odd that there was a menu at all if we couldn't choose our dishes. The food itself was well-prepared with good quality ingredients, but it lacked that WOW factor or surprise element that I look forward to in fine dining.
Considering the price point, I expected more in terms of innovation and memorable flavors. While everything was cooked perfectly, nothing stood out as exceptional or particularly memorable.
Although the lighting in the restaurant was dim and there were few customers, the service was attentive and professional, contributing positively to the overall dining experience.
In short, Indomito offers well-cooked food of good quality, but falls short of delivering a truly memorable dining experience, especially given the lack of choice despite a menu presence. For those who enjoy surprises in their dining adventures, this might be worth a try, but for me, it didn't quite hit the mark.
