"Indrani Lodge is less than an hour’s drive from the Brussels city center, in the village of Loupoigne, but that’s more than far enough for this restored medieval farm to serve as an escape for all sorts of travelers." - Mark Fedeli

Indrani is absolutely incredible, if you have the opportunity to stay here, do yourself a favor and do it! From the moment we stepped in the door, they were so welcoming and kind. As a traveler who only speaks English and has severe anxiety, struggling my way through Europe, staying here has been my absolute favorite part of my trip. I cannot believe this place is not packed with a years long waitlist. It didn’t feel like staying in a hotel, it really felt like visiting old relatives who are so excited to see you. They did their absolute best to accommodate us with our limited language skills and they went above and beyond my expectations by far. It’s clear that they’re very proud of what they do any they have every right to be! We visited their chickens and alpacas & we were encouraged to check out their greenhouse/garden area - it’s all amazing! The fact this place is so sustainable is absolutely mind blowing! The restaurant was the pinnacle of the stay, with wonderful food and such kind service - if you have the chance to join them for breakfast, you absolutely need to. I only stayed for 3 nights before the next leg of my adventure, but I wish I had more time here. They have a ceramics class, yoga, a library, and a hauntingly beautiful pool too! I genuinely cannot recommend Indrani enough, I will not shut up about this place for the rest of my life. I will hope forever that I have the opportunity to come back here someday.

Indrani Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way possible. From the moment we stepped foot onto the property, we knew we were in for a truly memorable experience. The accommodations at Indrani Lodge are exceptional. The attention to detail in the decoration and furnishings made us feel right at home. Every room was thoughtfully designed and created a cozy and inviting ambiance. We felt truly pampered throughout our stay. The culinary experience at Indrani Lodge's restaurant was nothing short of sublime. We were blown away by the fact that 75 percent of the ingredients used in their dishes come from their own garden. The flavors were fresh, vibrant, and absolutely delicious. They deserve a star for their exceptional creations and service. We wholeheartedly recommend Indrani Lodge to everyone seeking an exceptional experience. From the beautiful indoor pool and tastefully decorated accommodations to the delightful restaurant, every aspect of this lodge is designed to provide utmost quality and relaxation.

Amazing spot for a relaxing and gourmet weekend! The farm is beautiful, mixing artfully old and modern style. We had a magic stay in the loft, really something to try! Wonderful hospitality, the host is very warm and professional, you feel at home. The dinner was a real surprise: the chef Capela Sebath prepares you the most delicious meals with the vegetables coming from the farm’s orchard. Honestly, Michelin-star kind of cuisine. He also genuinely enjoys the interactions with the guests to explain what he prepared. Fantastic place if you want to get a break from Brussels in a wonderful location with fantastic food. What a treat!

We went for dinner and also stayed for one night. It is difficult to rate the restaurant and the bnb at the same time, as the dinner was great and the bnb leaves a lot to be desired. First of all it is not clear where the main entrance is and where to park your car. The hotel and the room itself look a bit unfinished as there's only very sparse decoration, so especially the bedroom felt cold. The pool was in a second building across the square so not very comfortable to go in and out in the evening in the winter. The breakfast was quite limited, only two pieces of bread, 3 of cheese. Our room was close to the kitchen so around 11pm when we wanted to sleep there was loud music and a lot of noise. Also several lights in the bedroom that could not be turned off, including a flickering blue light under the bedside table. When we checked out, there was not question about whether we enjoyed our stay or not, so felt we couldn't give any feedback. The dinner on the other side was great, lots of veggies and a surprise menu. Really nice and welcoming staff and a great chef. The food was very tasty and nicely presented. We enjoyed sitting close to the open kitchen and watching the chef and his team prepare the food. The chef shook our hand on the way out after dinner and asked for feedback. We had a chat about managing to make such amazing vegetarian dishes. 5*

There are many serious problems with this hotel which disappointingly outweighs the charm of its appearance and contradicts the luxury price tag and image. First, it's under major construction. Seven houses in and around the hotel are being renovated with the dust, mud and noise that goes with it. They do not tell you this before you book and do not give a discount to compensate for it. The outside areas are unkempt with mud and weeds, construction signs and a makeshift main entrance to the hotel. Secondly, the interior feels like a cross between a family roadside motel complete with plastic children's toys in the garden and a business hotel with its charmless mass produced deco art and formula furniture. What a shame! The dining experience was recommended to us but it was closed so we had to drive to another place to eat. No beverage facilities were available such as a bar or tea and coffee facilities despite the many chalk boards listing refreshments. We thought a beautiful old property like this would have an open fire and a bar to relax in the evening but there wasn't. Breakfast was poor quality with no fresh local produce such as free range eggs, croissants or fresh bread. The jam was a dirty old jar dated 2021 with bits of previous guests butter stuck to the sides. Our room oddly had no windows other than one off the bathroom and there was no ventilation making the room stuffy. The carpet was old and dirty. The swimming pool in the barn was very nice but the loungers were stained. Despite the hotels website suggesting a respect for ecology and nature there was little or no sign of sustainability. The best part of our experience was a wonderful massage but it was expensive and interrupted by managements failure to relocate the massages to a quieter part of the hotel. This hotel has a long way to go before it is the oasis of tranquility and luxury it claims to be. I hope it gets there. The potential is enormous. Hard work and a serious reality check is required.
